Eleven looked at the crystal in his hand and only cried more
“Oh Diamond, you’re really gone, I really won’t see you again, I really won’t k!ssor hvg you from behind again, I really really won’t taste your food or admire your cooking skills again… I won’t have the chance to tell you I love you again, my baby!!! ” He screamed in a loud voice, holding the crystal ti-ght
“Why is my fate so cruel?, First they said my first love is not my destined love, I let her go, I met Diamond and I’m alre-ady jubilating that I’ve met the one, destiny is busy ma-king jest of me that I’m daft, it took you from me Diamond, I love you so much” he said, shedding bitter tears as he knelt beside the pool
“Diamond!!!!!” He screamed again
Iris c@m£ out to him, knelt beside him and hvgged him for consolation
“Iris is it really true?, I won’t see her again, I won’t hear her voice again, I won’t feel her b©dy warmth again I’m so unlucky! ” He said bitterly on her shoulders.
Iris isn’t left out too, she’s crying profusely just as Eleven is doing …
As she patted his back, she can suddenly feel his b©dy getting h0t
His temperature is rising
She faced him and his eyes is drowsy alre-ady
“Eleven” she called
He closed his eyes completely and fell on her shoulders, pas-sing out
Iris had to carry him in, thanks to her powers it’s easy
“What happened to him?” Kingston said Immediately she took him in
He has tears in his eyes too and his eyes are all red and his face is puffy too
“He pas-sed out, the shock must be too much for him to bear” she replied
Kingston took him from her and took him upstairs, despite the fact that he’s unconscious, he held the crystal so ti-ght that no one can take it
He was layed on be-d and covered well with a we-t napkin on his forehead
“He’ll be ok, he’s strong, don’t worry” Kingston said
” I know, but it’s too bitter a pill to swallow” she replied, wiping her tears though it still continued flowing
He went close to her and pu-ll-ed her into a hvg as they both continued crying in each other’s arms…

Next morning****
Isla and Cole didn’t see Diamond in School despite the fact that they wrote a test, and at the same time, her line is not going throu-gh so they c@m£ asking of her but surprisingly, the atmosphere in the house is not plea-sing
Kingston is sitting on the ba-re ground in the living room, his face alone says that all isn’t well
Iris is sitting on one of the dinning chairs with her legs up on the chair, her face says it all too, she’s even crying
Only Eleven isn’t pres£nt
They entered fully
“What happened here?, Where’s Diamond?, Why are you both like this?, Iris why are you like this? ” Isla said
“Kingston?, plea-se talk to us” Cole said impatiently
“Iris is…. Gone” Eleven said, coming downstairs
Kingston and Iris spranged up
“You’re up!” They both chorused
He never answered, he got to the living room and sat sadly
“Wh… Wh.. what do you mean by Diamond is gone? ” Isla said with a shaky voice
” What’s happening!” Cole screamed
“Diamond transformed back to a crystal, she’s originally a crystal, a flaming crystal to be precise, she turned human and can only live for twenty one years and six months, her time ended last night, she transformed” Iris said tearfully
“here she is” Eleven said, opening his palm that contains the crystal
“Are you kidding me now?, I’m too old to be pla-yed with” Cole said unbelievably
” She’s really gone, the best sister in the world is gone, she’s gone!” Kingston lamented
Cole sat on the ba-re ground while Isla leaned on the wall
“No, no no no” Isla said, crying alre-ady
“It can’t be true!, It’s not true Diamond is not gone, she’s still here, someone should tell me that* Cole lamented bitterly
The door pushed open once again, revea-ling Skylar and Carson, they both c@m£ in , having shocked looks on their faces
“Did I hear right?, Diamond is…. a flaming crystal?, She’s gone?, She transformed? ” Skylar said, staring at everyone
“is that really true?” Carson said , sitting on the ba-re ground beside Kingston
Kingston kept mute, his tears did the confirmation
Skylar bent down and cried on her knees while Carson cried beside Kingston
It’s just like a crying galore and for complete three days, no one ate… Eleven didn’t even comeout of his room, he kept saying he nee-ds to be alone and that was granted though it’s ha-rd
The fourth day, Iris entered the kitchen and saw the book on which Diamond had wrote her recipe
She picked it and fli-pped open the pages
On the first page, she wrote
“Here are all what you nee-d to know about cooking, it’s all in this book and you can’t lose it, don’t kill my brother and my baby”
Iris smiled at that before opening to the next page, she wrote;
“Since you seem to like noodles especially when my brother feeds you, I’ll be kind to start this book with the recipe
Number one; how to cook noodles
Then the explanations started
She explained the recipes of how to cook all sort of foods and Iris un-derstood it all
She felt tears coming out of her eyes as she re-ad it
She can’t help it, to think she won’t be tasting Diamond’s food again
It hurts
She cried as she cooked and set the table, it’s actually spaghetti, garnished one, Diamond’s best food
She went upstairs to call Kingston to come and eat
Thereafter she went to Eleven’s room and knocked, when he didn’t open
“Eleven I know it’s ha-rd but plea-se come downstairs and eat, you can’t continue starving yourself, Diamond Won’t be happy, plea-se” she said
She later left
Eleven stayed in his room and just kept staring at the crystal, and tears is the result each time he does
“Diamond, I have no appetite, I don’t want to eat at all… I don’t want to” he said sadly
He took the crystal and hvgged it to his che-st
“I love you so much Diamond”…

A month after***
Luckily Aurora never noticed, Lillie has been successfully adding the poison to her food and water everyday morning and night
And for the emperor, though he can’t escape death but his health condition grew better, he’s talking well and eating well these days…
And today, no one knows what it holds
Jung, the chief guard of the palace walked furiously into the palace, he walked past Eragon without uttering a word and Eragon wondered the reason for the sudden frankness, he decided to trail him
Jung went straight to the empress and and bowed
“Yes?” Aurora said
She has been feeling changes in her b©dy but she just thinks it’s normal
“I found out three people in a cave, de-ep down the forest, Choi Yen, Kang Min and his daughter Kayla, the people you ordered their killings by Eragon and Lillie, they’re still alive, doing well in the cave, Eragon betrayed you cos I’m sure there’s no way Lillie will do that” Jung said
Aurora spranged up
” What! ”
” Yes your highness, it’s really true, but not to worry, I killed them alre-ady, I killed the two old fools but I can’t find Kayla, Kang Min’s daughter, she must have escaped but I promise to get her as well” Jung said
” Eragon, for the second time that snake had betrayed me, bring him here!, alert the palace guards that he must’nt leave the walls of this palace, I’m beheading him myself” Aurora said in anger
” Yes your highness” Jung replied
Eragon hid himself well as Jung pas-sed by the corridor
After Jung had left, he c@m£ out and ti-ptoed out of the palace… He took the secret route with a ladder at the back of the palace, the one only he and Lillie knows about
But unluckily, the guards saw him as he climbe-d down
“There’s him!” One of them said as they c@m£ In thirties and fifties and more than hundred after him
He ran with his strength, praying all this goes well
Lillie is in her dad’s chamber during the time, she had to come out when she heard the unsteady movements
She c@m£ across one of the guards
“What’s happening?” She demanded
“My lady, Eragon has been betraying the empress by sparing the people the empress told him to kill, the empress ordered for his capture alre-ady” he replied
” What! ”
She immediately ran into her room and took off her royal robe, she wore her secret disguise clothes and wore a mask, completely hiding her face
She took her sword and left the palace as steadily as ever
She ran throu-gh the forest, searching for the possible route they might have took
She took the cave route and just kept running
Eragon might be good at swords fighting but the palace guards that are after him are more than hundred, it’s impossible to take them all down without a scratch
He got to the cave and saw it for himself
Choi Yen and Kang Min has been murdered
He fell on his knees
All his efforts are in vain
But where is Kayla?
The guards rushed into the cave and he stood in anger, re-ady to risk his life and fight
He drew his sword br@vely, throwing away the sheath
He stood in position as the numerous guards advanced towards him
He used kicks and spin kick along with it and all is going well, he’s doing well in bringing them down
Then someone else entered the cave, she’s masked but judging by her walking steps, Eragon knows it’s Lillie but the guards don’t
She leapt up in the air and landed right beside Eragon
“It’s me” she whispered
“I know” he whispered back
“They’re too many, why don’t we just run” she said
” Only cowards do that, even if I die fighting them, it’ll be more honourable” he replied
” Ok, let’s do this” she replied and pu-ll-ed out her sword too
They fought back to back, bringing down the guards in a professional way
Lillie got a cut in her arm but never bothered, it’s minor though
And throu-gh the clashing of swords and spilling of blood, they brou-ght down many
Just when they’re left with just five, one of them made to stab Lillie but she ducked, thinking it’s one of the guards that’s beside her, unknown to her, it’s Eragon, the sword thrû-sted into his belly instead and his blood gushed out even from his mouth
Lillie’s eyes wi-de-ned as she saw what just happened
Eragon went down in pains, holding unto his belly
Lillie in anger mercilessly took down the remaining ten and threw away her sword
She ran to him, tilting up his head, his eyes is alre-ady closing
“No Eragon, you can’t do this to me, no plea-se, you can’t give up, only cowards do that like you said, you have to live plea-se” she said, her tears falling
Eragon smiled faintly
” Dummy, who Says I’m a coward if I die now?, I’m not, so far I fought viciously before dieing, it’s worth it” he said
” No you can’t die, you really can’t leave me jebal! (plea-se!), plea-se don’t leave me”
He brou-ght up his hand to her face and rocked her cheek, smiling along
“Lillie, the only girl I’ve ever loved, since you were little”
” Huh? ”
” Don’t be surprised, but at the same time, you have every right to be surprised too….. I’ve always loved you, and right here, right now, I’m telling you that…. I love you a lot, plea-se take care of the emperor and yourself, Aurora must have a slow and agonizing death too… I love you” he said before closing his eyes
Lillie can’t believe her ears but that’s not important right now, he just closed his eyes
“Eragon, Eragon!” She called impatiently but he’s not moving
She placed her ear on his che-st, he’s still breathing faintly but she nee-ds no one to tell her that he’ll soon st©p breathing
“No you can’t go like this, you can’t leave me like this, Eragon!!!;” She screamed, her voice echoing and her eyes turning blue without her knowledge…
Blue flames filled the place and she wondered why, she has no time to think but she later did
“Wait…. My blood.. the cu-p… Will it work?”
Without thinking twice, she took her sword and cut herself de-eply with it
She dropped her blood in his mouth and…

The doorbell rang at the door and Iris went to open the door
It’s a Sunday evening
The atmosphere in the house is coming back to normal bit by bit but Eleven is still as gloomy as ever…
Iris opened the door and c@m£ face to face with an old man, she felt his aura and despite the fact that his face changed, she knows it’s him… Andromeda!
“Andromeda!* She exclaimed
He smiled wi-dely
He’s looking good in the shi-t and trou-sers, different from his robe in Meteor, and his new face is more radiant too
Kingston and Eleven stood as he entered
“Is he really Andromeda?” Kingston said
Iris nodded
Eleven kept mute
“I re-ad in the stars about your fate that just manifested, you have the most cruel love life fate in the world” Andromeda said to Eleven
” Is there no way to bring her back? ” Eleven asked
” Flaming crystals can’t come back once they transform, but the only lucky you guys can have is that, since Iris and Novato are now something, when they start giving birth, she might be recreated as their child” he replied
Eleven heaved
They settled down
” And Iris, seems like you have a sister, not by birth though, by coincidence” Andromeda said
” I have a sister?, But not by birth?, by mistake?” Iris said
“Yes, the heavens showed it to me just last week, I guess they kept it from me for a reason, and I think it’s time to tell you guys history” Andromeda said
” Before that, is there no remedy to her weakness?, I mean this apple of a thing, is there no remedy for her to have no weakness at all? ” Kingston asked
” There is”
” Tell us” Iris said
“your vir-ginity blood is the reason why you still have a weakness, once you lose your vir-ginity, you lose your weakness and you’re free, and any man who takes your vir-ginity will have a share in your powers, not that his blood will be able to heal like yours but he’ll just be powerful enough to fight tough enemies” Andromeda said
” You mean. … She must be deflowered for her weakness to go? ” Kingston said
Andromeda nodded
Iris and Kingston looked at each other but quic-kly looked away
How embarras-sing
“And once that happens, you must return to Meteor at once cos it’s time… But I nee-d to say this first” Andromeda said
They all listened with ra-pt attention
“twenty years ago when Aurora killed that maid cos she broke her favorite cu-p, the maid was pregnant and her pregnancy is due for delivery…. as Aurora slashed the maid, the maid’s powerful blood stained Aurora’s robe, and as you know, the empress was also pregnant with Lillie then, when the blood made contact with Aurora’s robe, Lillie’s fate changed right from the wo-mb, the blood magically entered Aurora’s wo-mb and mixed with Lillie’s blood, she accidentally bec@m£, the second daughter of the Phoenix cos she’s the first person to get in contact with the blood..
The maid was disposed by the palace guards but luckily she’s not dead yet and that day, I was taking a walk round the forest when I saw her lifeless b©dy with an heavy stomach
I had to carry her to the cave and I was the one who operated and took the baby out from her, luckily the baby is alive and breathing but because her fate has been twisted, she never opened her eyes, she kept slee-ping
Thereafter, I buried the mother’s b©dy and since then, I’ve been watching the slee-ping baby in the cave till she woke up” Andromeda explained
Iris is alre-ady crying
” So you’re saying…
” Your mother is the Phoenix but she never even knew it herself before Aurora killed her, empress Aurora killed your mum, then your fate and Lillie’s fate has been twisted” Andromeda said
” What!, My mother, killed her… Mother?, The maid?… Kingston rambled
Iris stood in bitter tears
“No, no no it’s not true” she said and ran out of the house
“Iris!, Iris!” Kingston called, running after her…
