?Episode Thirty?

?Audrey POV?

The students gazes centered on me immediately I entered the clas-sroom.

Well, I’m quiet used to it.

“Best!” Kwan squealed, rushing to me gleefully.

“Hi Kwan” I shot her a soft smile.

“What happened, Audrey?”
“Why were you absent in school yesterday?”
“I was worried sick and I couldn’t reach you throu-ghyour phone” She rushed her words.

“Let’s sit” I told her and led the way to our seats.

Kwan gasped after I narrated everything to her.

“Everything happened within the past two days?” She asked, looking so tou-ched.

I nodded.

“I’m so sorry, Audrey” She said sadly, her gaze on her desk.

“Huh?”

“Why are you sorry, Kwan?” I co-cked my brows at her and she looked up.

“I wasn’t there with you when you nee-ded me”

I just smiled.

“It’s fine, dear”
“I’m alright now” I shot her a loving smile which she reciprocated.

She tou-ched the bandage on my head.

“You sure you’re not feeling pain anywhere?” She asked, absentmindedly sounding like my mom.

“Of course not, Kwan”
I smiled at her motherly gesture.

“You..”

“Good morning, clas-s”

Kwan was saying something but was interrupted by the English teacher presence.

“Good morning, ma’am” The clas-s chorused.

“After clas-s” I told her silently before turning to sit properly on my seat.

*

“Was I the only one that noticed Min jun was stealing glances at you throu-ghout the clas-s?” Kwan said beside me, as we headed to the garden.

That’s true, actually.

I caught him staring at me several times and at a point, I wanted to walk up to his seat and ask what could be his problem.

But to be honest, I like the fact that he was staring at me.

“And why are you smiling?”
“I didn’t say anything amusing” Kwan said, snapping me out of my thought.

“Nothing”I shook my head before taking her hand.

“Min jun might be your life saver, you know?” Kwan said with a light shrug.

I scoffed.

“You’re bad at guessing, Kwan” I shook my head with disappointment, sitting next to her.

“Then who could it be, Audrey?” She asked, curiously.

“I don’t have an idea, Kwan” I shook my head, sadly.

“And I really want to know”
“I nee-d to thank him- my life saver”

“I have an idea, Audrey” Kwan tapped my thigh, looking so serious.

“Tell me” I said, tucking my hair behind my ear.

“You should start talking to all the boys in the clas-s, Audrey” She began and I rolled my eyes.

I’d thought it was a good idea.

“From there, you’ll get to know who’d saved your life” She added, grinning at me.

“No, Kwan”

“The idea is not for me” I said in a finality tone.

She sighed.

Yeah
I’m glad she got the message.

“But who could have sent Travis to do such?” Kwan spoke up after some seconds silence.

My mind strayed to him- the new fool.

Yeah
I’m sure he has something to do with this.

“I’ll be right back, Kwan”

I got on my feet and ran out of the garden before Kwan would say something.

Jordan POV;

“Don’t for-ce me to go against the school rule” He gritted out, pointing a finger to me- like he’s giving a serious warning.

“What can you do, you dimwit” I scowled at him.

I just despise him.

“Don’t get on my last nerve, and this is my last warning to you” He threatened.

I huffed.

“Can you fight me?” I asked him but he already turned to the note on his desk, without saying a word.

“Jackas-s” I mumbled.

My eyes landed on the figure that just walked into the clas-sroom and a small smile crept on my li-ps.

It’s my crazy girl.

I wonder why she was not in school yesterday.

She averted her eyes around before looking at my side.

Our eyes locked and she started marching towards my seat, looking livid.

Huh?

She got to where I was sitting and grabbed my hand on the desk, pulling me out of the clas-sroom.

“What’s going on?” I asked her when we got outside the clas-sroom, but she’s not saying anything.

I smiled inwardly at the way my body was reacting to the feeling of her hand on my wrist- so sweet.

Maybe she wants to apologize.

“You fool” She thun-dered and before I could process what was going on, I already felt a slap on my cheek.

I glanced around- it’s the school garden.

“How could you stoop so low?” She fired, looking so livid.

I ru-bbed my cheek for a while, staring at her in shock.

“Why didn’t you confront me yourself?”
“Such a coward”

Okay

“What are you saying?”
“I don’t un-derstand” I told her, trying to sound calm.

“Tell me what you don’t un-derstand!” She yelled.

“You wanted to get back at me by sending the Head prefect to take my life, huh?”

“Because you’re the only son of the famous Mr Park, you think you can do all that pleases you right?”

I watched her with confusion.

“Calm down, Audrey”
Her friend patted her shoulder.

“What do you mean?” I asked her again.

“Don’t even try to pretend cause I know everything and believe me, I won’t stop until you serve the punishment you deserve” She clenched her teeth.

“Together with your accomplice” She added, staring into my eyes.

“Wait..” I said, trying to calm her so she can explain all she just said.

But after a glance, she walked out on me with her friend.

I watched their back till the disappeared.

“What was that?” I ruffled my hair, moving away from where I was standing.

I can’t un-derstand a thing.

I heaved a de-ep sigh.

I better make sure I dig things out for clarification.

But how?
She’s not even ready to help matters.

?Min jun?

“You’re looking depressed, son” Dad said, but I still don’t look up from what I was doing.

“Have I hurt you by chance?” He asked, sadly.

“Aaron..”

“You didn’t hurt me, Dad” I cut in, dropping my paint brush.

“But you’ve been acting strange since you returned from school”

“You were avoiding me” He looks like he’s going to cry and it made me smile.

“C’mon Dad”

“I just want to be alone” I told him, hoping he would be convinced.

“No, Min jun” He shook his head negatively.

“I know it when you want to be alone, and that’s not the case right now”

I folded my hands.

“Tell me what the case seems like, Dad”

He smiled.

“You look so hurt and depress but you don’t know how to pour it out”

I coughed.

“I’m alright, Dad”
“Believe me”

“Uhmmm” He eyed me suspiciously.

“Alright then, if you say” He shrugged.

“How’s psycho, by the way?” He asked, and I felt my heart made some movement at the mention of her.

But I’m really mad her.

I stood on my feet and yawned loudly.

“It’s late, Dad”
“I’m going to bed” I announced.

“Yeah, but you haven’t answered my question” He reminded.

“She should be fine, Dad” I was for-ced to say that.

Huh?

“Why should?”
“Didn’t she come to school today?”
“Did she thank you for saving her life?”

He rushed his questions.

I shook my head and shut my eyes.

“Goodnight, Dad” I opened my eyes and told him.

He twisted his li-ps.

“I knew you won’t answer me” He smiled down at me.

“Goodnight” He stooped down a little and pec-ked my head before leaving my room.

I exhaled immediately he shut the door behind me.

Thank God.

I plonked myself on the bed.

The image of how she’d pulled that moron from his seat popped up in my head.

“fuc-k!” I cussed loudly.

Are they friends already?

She’s a big fat liar!

I thought she said she doesn’t interact with boys, then what was she doing with him?

That moron of all guys in the clas-s!

I tossed to the other side of the bed, feeling so much anger in me.

I felt hurt after I saw that scene.

That scene ruined my day!
That scene got my Dad worried!

“Ugh”

She didn’t even bother to look for who’d saved her life, foolish girl.

Oh no..

Don’t tell me she thought that moron was her life saviour?

I raked a hand throu-ghmy hair.

Should I just tell I saved her life?

No!
I can’t.

‘And I’m sure you’ll be sad if you see them together again, isn’t it?’ My subconscious mind mocked.

I rolled my eyes and angrily threw a pillow to the floor.

You’re screwed, Min jun!

?Episode Thirty one?

~Jung POV~

?”Please, I don’t mind whatever it takes or cost, just find Chun cha” I spoke to the phone.

?”We are trying our possible best, sir”

I breathe out heavily before raising my head see Mia standing at the doorway.

?”Bye”
I hung up immediately.

“Who’s Chun cha?” Mia asked, walking into the room.

“It’s no one” I replied simply, dropping my phone on the nightstand.

Since when has she been standing over there and how much did she heard?

She was now standing before me.

“No one?” She arched her brows.

I didn’t say a word, just staring.

“For the past few weeks now Jung, Chun cha or whatever has been your mantra in this house and you’re still insisting she’s no one” She raised her voice but I’m short of words, I really don’t know how to defend myself right now.

“I’ll do my findings” She continued.

I felt my heart stopped beating.

“What findings, Mia?” I managed to ask.

“Believe me Jung, if I find out what you’re hiding from somebody else” She paused, looking into my eyes intensely.

I gulped nervously.

“Then you’re going to regret everything” She threatened and left where she was standing.

“Mia” I called softly but she already used the door.

Damn!

Mia doesn’t give an empty threats, she’s capable of doing whatever and she will do it.

How do I tell her I left my first family to be with her several years ago?

And after those years, I found them.

I left Chun cha and my child for her.

She was the CEO of one of the companies I supplied materials back then.

I heard a lot of negative words about her until the day I met her.

She acted so free-hearted towards me and I was shocked to the bone- was she not the same person they were talking about?

After that day, she ordered me to always bring more materials to her company and which I gladly did.

At the long run, we became a very good friends and honestly, I wanted more, I wanted her for myself only because this lady was stinkingly rich.

She’s still rich till today, she’s rated among the top millionaires in the whole Korea and USA.

She was the only daughter of her famous father, so after his death, all his properties were will in her name.

I left my wife and daughter all because of her wealth, I never loved her.

I was blessed enough, I had a house, two cars and more as-sets- But I wasn’t contented.

So greedy!

Forgive me, Chun cha.
I’ve really wronged you.

Audrey POV;

“Kwan” I called her, interrupting what she was saying.

“Uhmm”

I stopped walking and faced her.

We were heading to the clas-sroom- lunch period is over.

“Uhmm.. I..”
Kwan stared at me.

“What do you want to say, Audrey?” She asked, looking worried.

I shook my head.

“It’s nothing, let’s go” I told her and continued with my walk.

“Don’t be like that, Audrey”
“Tell me” She urged me.

I shook my head in refusal.

How do I tell her Duffer was shooting me some kinda look this morning, and which I don’t un-derstand why?

“You’re such a kill joy” Kwan frowned, folding her arms.

“Forgive me, your majesty” I joked.

She rolled her eyes and I laughed.

“Kwan” Someone called behind us and we both turned.

“Hey Seo yun!” Kwan squealed and ran to meet him immediately.

I huffed and rolled my eyes.

Can she ever change?

*
“I’m so happy to inform you all that the day to your annual trip has been scheduled” The teacher announced and the clas-s screamed happily, including Kwan.

“And guess where you’re going this year” He said, smiling at us.

“Where sir?!” They chorused.

I just watched them.

Kwan already told me about the annual trip.

“It’s Nami Island”

The students cheered.

“So, your test starts next week Monday and ends on Thursday”

“And on Friday, we’re all leaving for Nami Island” The teacher talked with a smiling filled face.

“But there’s a little change this year” He pressed on.

The clas-s became silent at once.

“It’s only Grade eleven and twelve that are going for the trip, due to some reasons best known to the school authority”

The clas-s starts to murmur after he said that.

“But why is that?” Kwan asked at my back, but I ignored her.

I’m still mad at her for leaving me, and went to meet that idiot.

✓Jin POV✓

I was sitting in the living room, engrossed in a movie.

My phone suddenly shrilled on my lap,
I looked down at it- it’s Soo.

I picked it and slide the answer icon before pressing it to my ear.

?”Bestest!” She said in her normal cheerful tone.

I smiled.

?”How’re you doing, Soo?”

?”I’m not fine Jin, I miss you so much” She replied and I could feel her pouting already.

?”I miss you too, Soo”

?”You’re resuming on Monday right?”

?”Of course”

?”I really can’t wait to see you again” She grinned.

?”Me too”

?”Bye Soo” I added before hanging up.

I sighed de-eply.

I miss Min jun so badly.
Does he miss me too?

I stared blankly at the TV while my mind traveled to Audrey.

I just want to believe Travis has already carried out the job cause I can’t un-derstand why he’s not picking my calls.

It’s annoying.

Well, Monday is close- he will explain himself.

I should let Soo know about it, but I want it to be with the two of us only.
