THINGS YOU CANT SEE
FINALE
a week after Ella was able to sign the divorce papers and sent it back to King’s lawyer, she sent a note with it….. king’s lawyer called him to come to his office whenever his chance….. king decided to go the next day with Camila, whatever it is, she nee-ds to be there and hear it for herself.
The lawyer gave him the divorce papers to see.
KING
oh wow, this is good news….i didn’t know Ella would agree to this.
LAWYER
she also sent something with it.
(he brou-ght out the letter)
King collected the letter and read the content, he gave it to Camila to read to…. Camila felt pity on her.
CAMILA
I feel so sorry for her.
KING
I feel the same way too, but whatever Ella is in right is a bad business, and getting involve might hurt my family and I can’t have that.
king thanked the lawyer and told him to processe the divorce papers immediately, so it becomes official.
all throu-ghthe drive back home Camila wasn’t herself, the letter Ella sent was bordering her.
KING
it’s obvious you are still thinking about Ella, what if she’s just lying? you know the king of person Ella is
CAMILA
babe, it doesn’t matter if she’s lying or not, what’s important is you, you are a good man…. let’s just help her please.
KING
so, what do you suggest we do?
CAMILA
I suggest we pay half of the money
KING
even if we pay half of the money they won’t let her go…… do you know what gambling is?
CAMILA
I am just confuse, what do you suggest we do? or should I just wipe their memory?
KING
that would have been nice, but what has Ella done for us that we will have to go throu-ghsuch stress for her… beside she’s not in Nigeria, you know Don has already sent her to one of his casino in Dubai.
CAMILA
but I’m guessing Don is still here, if we can get his number we can meet up with him, you know.
KING
I just don’t have a good feeling about this Camila.
CAMILA
you just have to trust me babe, we ain’t doing this for her okay? we are doing it for Jasmine…. please.
KING
all right, I think I have a perfect person for this job…. but I’m not calling him now, we will nee-d to get to the house first.
CAMILA
no problem love…. I feel better now, knowing that we can still do something to help her.
TWO MONTH AFTER
Camila travelled home with her fiancee, though the parents were not happy that she was already pregnant before coming home to introduce her husband to be.
Since it wasn’t against their tradition to wed a pregnant woman, their blessing were given and the marriage took place… Camila didn’t want a church wedding, her bed was already defiled so what’s the point doing a white wedding…. but she wedded in court, to officially make her marriage legal.
After the marriage Anna didn’t follow her sister back to her husband’s house, even when Camila pleaded with her to come with them, Anna refused, it was time to face her life…. she called Jordan to come to the house and pick her up.
Her parents were very angry when they saw Jordan, they asked him to leave without welcoming him.
ANNA
you guys might think what you are doing is the best for me, but I’m an adult and I know what is good for me … this man right here is my soul mate, the one made for me…. I can’t go back to Alex you already know that, I don’t love him anymore…..
ANNA’S DAD
and you feel the right person to fall in love with is your brother in-law? what is wrong with children of nowadays?
ANNA
what’s so wrong in marrying the man that treats me right, dad? what is so wrong in falling in love with a man that feels the same way for me?
ANNA’S MUM
Anna, I can’t believe you are the one talking, we taught you better than this
ANNA
and I’m still the same Anna you know mum, I love this man and there is nothing you or dad would say that would make me change my mind.
JORDAN
I know how disappointed you both are towards my family, but I promise you I really love Anna, I’m not here to take advantage of her innocence, I’m here because she means so much to me….. if only you can give us a chance please.
He said and went down on his knees, Anna was not ready to let anyone take away her happiness from her, she won’t let her parents do that to her…jordan pulled her by the hand and she knelt down too.
The father walked away angrily, the mother moved closer and pulled them to stand up.
ANNA’S MUM
you two must know this is not something that is easy to accept, if we accept this what would your brother think? what will the world say about us?
JORDAN
our happiness should matter too, and not what the world has to say ma.
ANNA’S MUM
I’m going to try talking to her father once he comes back….. but I’m not promising you anything, because your family is like an affliction we wouldn’t pray to see twice.
Anna’s father went to a soothsayer to make inquiries if it was okay to give his daughter out for marriage…. the replied he got was the same thing Camila explained to them but they didn’t believe her because they thought she was only making it up for her sister.
After hearing from the gods he has no other option than to bless them… since Anna was once married there was no nee-d doing an elaborated wedding, they did a family get together that involved Mrs Patricia, Anna’s parents….. it took a lot for Mrs Patricia to agree to it, because ever since she left Alex’s house that day she hasn’t heard from her son…. for all she knows he might have killed himself or something worse…… they blessed the two and they traveled to Cameroon for a few weeks pending till when Anna’s visa would be available.
Ella was allowed to go after king put all his efforts to find Don, they met with him and Camila shook hands with him, that was all it took…. she wiped Ella’s memory from his mind and compelled him to delete all the details he has about the woman.
Don did as he was instructed, he set Ella free and made sure no one ever troubles her, not even his boys.
THREE YEARS LATER
Alex buried himself in his work, the news of joran’s wedding to his wife broke him into pieces… but after some time he started to puck back the pieces of his life…. he came to term that he was the one that messed up, so Anna deserve all the happiness she could get….
He called his brother and asked him to visit home once in a while that he already forgive him for marrying his ex wife, that he hopes Anna too would be able to forgive him for the years he treated her badly.
it was few days to Christmas and Alex decided to visit the mall to get some stuffs, when he bumped into someone, before he could even start apologizing the friendly lady started to apologize.
ALEX
no, no I should be the one apologizing
JUAN
Alex?
ALEX
yes, have we met before….
(he suddenly remembers her)
Juan? are you not the same Juan my brother dated years back?
JUAN
(she smiled)
it’s me Juan, but am not that Juan you know anymore, Christ found me.
ALEX
I can see that, that was why I didn’t recognize you…. you look so different and more beautiful now.
JUAN
thanks…. so how’s your wife and family?
ALEX
I’m not married yet, I’m just taking my time.
JUAN
oh okay, but hope you have forgiven your brother? if it wasn’t God’s plan for them, I’m sure he would have done something to stop it.
ALEX
yeah…. I hold not grudges against them, hopefully they will come home before the new year…. did I mention that Jordan is now baba ibeji(father of twins)
JUAN
oh wow, that’s really good…. I’m happy for them…. so Alex I will like to be on my way now… nice seeing you again.
Alex collected her number before she left…. ever since then Alex kept in touch, from one day dinner, it lead to another and so on until they both fell in love with each other.
Juan had to seek God’s approval before she accepted to marry alex..
Camila’s first son was already two years old and she was expecting another baby, she was almost due for delivery.
Ella turn in a new live, she started to like more of God things than things of the world…. she promise never to marry again, she would use the rest of her life to serve God.
