Danica
I swear, I thought my heart had st©pped beating the moment I heard him. Did he just….did he just mention a stain??
A stain on my dress??
Oh My God! No.
My lashes batted heavily as I stared at him, dumbfounded.
“M…my..my prince?” I stuttered helplessly, everything in me screaming.
Then, he let go of my wrist.
“There’s a stain on your dress’ he repeated himself.
“And…it looks like a bl©©dstain”.
Oh my God! My heart jumped out of my che-st at the mention of the word – bl©©d.
It was….
Could it be the cramps? Have I started bl.eeding alre-ady?
Goodness,,Danica! Why didn’t I notice?
Shame was an un-derstatement for what I felt as I felt confused, not knowing what to do.
“Oh”,I muttered and fluttered my eyes on the floor.
I was stained!! Stained! What the hell do I do?? How do I walk out of here? How do I get home??
“You should…make use of the bathroom” prince Nathan suddenly said and I looked at him.
“I’ll get you some clothes” he added quic-kly, but my anxiety only increa-sed.
Get me some clothes?? Would that be possible? How can the prince….I mean.
G©sh! I didn’t even know what to think…seriously.
But one thing was for sure, I couldn’t walk out like this. So, I guess I really nee-ded the bathroom.
“Y…Yes, my prince. Thanks” I bowed my head and walked shyly to the bathroom, praying fervently I don’t trip because I was so nervous.

Bitna
“I told you! This is a complete mess! We should’ve done it my way” I rasped to the oaf of a boy who stood in front of me across the table.
Why did I have to be paired with such an unfortunate being??
“It isn’t my fault, Bitna. You added excess Chlorine to it” he tried defending his stupidity.
“Oh, plea-se! Just shut up”,I snapped.
“We should’ve used the other method. Period!”
“You can’t tell me
re-ad more stories or post your stories @:- Pizarena.com
to shut up, Bitna. You’re not my mother, okay?” The idiot said and I scoffed.
“Well, of course. Its actually impossible to be a mother to a complete fool like you” I huffed and gr@bb£d my bag from the chair.
“How dare you call me a fool? You completely lack manners, you
spoilt br@t”,he ranted, but I ignored hon and walked away.
G©sh! I felt like screaming…!!
I walked out of the God-forsaken house and st©pped to take some air when I was outside. The nerves of that oaf.
I can’t believe I got paired with a blockhead, while the person I wish for is paired with a low life. Why does life have to be this crazy, huh?
I moved my hair backwards and walked towards my car, but just when I was about going in, someone showed up.
“Hey”, she called and I turned see her walking towards me.
It was a woman – a very
young woman and she smiled sweetly at me. Huh? what does she want?
I stood beside the car and waited for her to get close and explain herself.
“Hi dear. Good evening” she greeted warmly, but I just stared at her.
She had a bunch of flowers with her.
“Can I help you?” I finally decided to ask.
“Oh! Not at all, dear. Not at all. I just…I just wanted to say hi. You’re beautiful” she complimented, but too bad, I didn’t even blus-h.
“Thank you” I mumbled anyway and turned to the car.
“Wait”, she called back my attention and I looked at her.
What the h’ll??
“I..want you to have this? Hope you like them?” She asked as she preferred the flowers out to me and I stared at them with scrutiny.
“Why’re you giving them to me?” I asked, crossing my hands.
“Nothing, dear. I just want you to have them. You’re so beautiful and they’d make a great fit on you” she replied, but it still didn’t freak me.
Hmm. Okay then.
“Thanks” i smiled lightly as I collected the flowers from her
They actually looked….cheap.
“My name is Kim” she further said and I just nodded.
“Thanks for the flowers. I nee-d to go now” I told her and entered into the car and thank goodness, she didn’t try to st©p me this time around
She remained standing there even as the car began moving. And well, I didn’t turn to check on her again.
When the car was far enough, I looked at the flowers and were disgusted at how local they were. Although, I appreciated the fact she admired me and gave them to me, I still couldn’t bring myself to accept such.
I lowered the glas-ses of the window and threw it out.

Danica
As soon as I got into the bathroom, I slammed the door
shut and leaned my back on it.
Oh Danica! Dmn it! What did I do??
I brushed my f!ngersinto my hair and ruffled it. Gosh! I felt so embarras-sed. The prince actually saw my stain…he saw me!! What do I do??
I turned the stained p@rt of the Sk-irt to the front so I could have a clear view of it and..dmn! It was real!it really stained me big time. What the h’ll?
“Oh, you!” I cur$ed un-der my breath.
This had to be the perfect time to embarras-s me, huh?
I sighed pathetically and looked round the bathroom. Okay; there was a towel, a bathtub, soap,,shower. I think it was complete. But I nee-ded the clothes first – the clothes the prince had promised me. I couldn’t take off my clothes when I wasn’t having any clothes to change into.
Shortly, I heard a knock on the door, and shook.
“Wh…Who’s it?” I asked stupidly.
Who else would it be?
“Prince Nathan asked me to get these clothes to you,,ma’am”,to my surprise, I heard a female voice say.
Huh?
Shouldn’t it be…
I quic-kly rushed and opened the door and…yeah. It was a maid.
But..I still sp©tted the prince fixing some things on the table.
Oh.
“Thank you”, I muttered and took the bag from the maid.
Ahh! Thank goodness he was wise enough to s£nd a maid.
I closed the door and opened the bag.
Oh. There was a black go-wn and a pack of sanitary pad.
Perfect!
But I cringed a lot, remembering it actually c@m£ from the prince. He bought me some pads!!?
Oh God! This isn’t funny.
My cheeks flu-shed as I dropped the bag on the floor and made to undress.
But…something gr!pp£dme when I heard some splashing sounds. Huh?
I looked out the window and to my greatest shock, it was raining!!!

Nathan
“I’ve delivered them, my prince” the maid bowed to me as she returned from the bathroom.
“Okay, good” I mumbled, my eyes focused on the pipe with me.
She bowed again and left.
I kept the pipe on the table and tried clearing it up. I still couldn’t believe I saw a stain on her dress. That was actually the first time I was seeing such. Gross.
And to think of the look on her face..
Hmph. It was priceless.
I sm-irked and was about walking away from the table when my hand accidentally hit something, ma-king it fall on the floor.
Oh! It was her bag.
Few of the contents poured from it and I quic-kly bent to pick it up. But I froze when I saw something familiar, lying right there beside the bag.
Whaat?
My brows furrowed in surprise as I picked it up to have a clearer view of it and my eyes beamed when I saw the name DAN clearly written on the br@celet – the same br@celet I’d been looking for.
Whaaaat???

Nathan
I stared at the br@celet in my hand with disbelief. The br@celet – the final evidence I nee-ded to clear my doubts.
What was it doing with her? Wasnt this enough proof? How possible she had a replica of the br@celet in her bag?
I stood up with it and continued staring Intently at it, unable to comprehend. Could she really be the one I’ve been looking for?
First, the long dark hair, then the walking steps,,her house being close to the woods, and now, this? The br@celet? What other proof do I nee-d?
It was alre-ady raining and I felt she might be out at any second. So, I put the br@celet in her bag, alongside her other contents that fell. I kept the bag neatly on the table and went to sit on the be-d.
Why would she hide herself from me? Why would she hide her identity from me, huh?
Every lady would die to be in her place. So, why was she acting differently? What could be wrong?
The door opened immediately and I turned to see her coming out, neatly changed now.
She took herl-ips into her mouth and looked nervous as she walked in, holding a polythene which probably contained her old clothes.
“T…Thank you, my prince – for the dress” she bowed when she got to where I was, but I didn’t say a word as I just stared at her flawless face. Why would she hide her identity from me? Why?
“You’re welcome”, I took in a de-ep breath and said, forcing my eyes away from her.
She looked obviously perplexed and didn’t know what to do.
Danica
“My prince, its late. I nee-d to go” I told him after a little pause.
He was silent for a while before replying me.
“Its raining” he said simply and I looked out the window.
Why did it have to rain now? Why now?
Ugh!!
I fisted my hands and didn’t know what to do. Was I to sit? Or do what exactly? I felt so uncomfortable staying quietly in the room with the prince.
I finally took the seat in front of the table and tried s much as possible to avoid the prince’s stares. The rain seemed so heavy and I wondered if it was ever gonna st©p.
*
20 minutes later
*
No!! . It was so late alre-ady and I nee-ded to go – by every means possible.
I stood up and looked at the prince who had been operating his phone the whole time.
“My prince” I bowed.
“I really nee-d to go now. My mum and grandma would be so worried about me. plea-se, permit me”.
For almost a minute, he didn’t say a word and finally, he stood up and started walking out of the room.
O….kay. Why the sudden cold treatment?
I took my bag an followed him out of the room anyway. And we walked down the hallway together.
We got to the big door and stood un-der the shade.
Oh boy! It was still raining heavily. How do I get a cab home?
I stood beside Prince Nathan, wondering exactly why he followed me.
“Um…my prince” I turned to him and bowed.
“I’ll…I’ll be on my way now”,,
“Wait”, he said when I was about running into the rain and I st©pped to look at him.
Huh?
He unlocked his phone and seemed to go throu-gh his contacts and after a while, he dialed a line.
“Yes. Come over to the second business, quic-kly” he said over the phone and brou-ght it down from his ear.
O..kay. I just hope he was trying to give me a ride.
Flashes from a car was seen and in few seconds, a red flashy car arrived.
“You can go to him. He’ll take you home” he said to me and I turned and looked at the car.
Oh. Thank goodness.
“Thank you, my prince. Um what time should I be here tomorrow?” I asked and he replied 2 p.m.”
I bowed and was about running away when he st©pped me again.
“Danica”, he called and I st©pped to look at him.
Oh! What could it be this time around?
“You do realize I’m looking for a lady right? A lady called -Dan?”
Whaaat???
My eyes nearly popped out of their sockets as soon as I heard that. What’s getting talking about?? I mean…why’s he telling me personally about it?
Oh my God.
“My….My prince?” I stuttered, not knowing what to say or do.
He huffed and took some steps back.
“You should hurry to the car. It’s late” he stated calmly.
Oh my God! What’s going on?
I stared at him in confusion, but he didn’t say any other word.
Slowly, I turned around and head to the car. I opened the back door and got in and as I did, I felt cold chills run down my spine.
The driver started the car and when I looked throu-gh the window, I found the prince staring at me.

Danica
I didn’t let the driver take me directly to the house, of course. I asked him to st©p some distance away and despite the fact it was still raining heavily, I left the car and ran towards the house.
I kept running, feeling scared my books would all be we-t.
I finally got to the house and thank goodness, the door was opened. I pushed it in and ran in immediately.
“Goodness, Danica!” Grandma exclaimed as soon as she saw me.
She was seated on the couch. “Where the hell have you been? You got me so worried. I was about gr-abbing an umbrella and coming out to look for you”.
“I’m sorry, granny. The rain actually delayed me” I replied perfunctorily and looked around for mum. I couldn’t find her.
“Oh, dear! You’re so we-t. Hurry up and change your dress so you don’t catch a cold” grandma cooed.
“Uh…Granny, where’s mum?” I asked.
“Oh! She’s upstairs in her room. Go on; go on. Change your clothes, quic-kly”, she urged and I turned around and left.
As i climbe-d the stairs, I thought of going to see mum. But thinking of her attitude towards me, I sadly changed my mind and went straight to my room.
I got in and dropped my bags on the floor – the bag containing my old stained cloth and the bag containing my books.
I opened the second bag and poured out the books and thankfully, they weren’t entirley we-t. I spre-ad them on the floor for quic-k dry and went ahead to change my clothes.
*
I la-id on the be-d, thinking de-eply about the Prince – prince Nathan.
I could tell there was something different. When he’d asked me that question, I could notice a different look in his eyes
No; there’s no way he’d suspect me, right? There’s absolutely no way he could’ve known I was the lady he’s looking for? Absolutely no way.
My br@celet was well hidden, Nana was the only one I told about it. And I’m very sure….Nana would never snitch up on me. No.
So, I guess I have no reason to be afraid because there’s no way the prince would suspect me.

Nathan
I stood in front of the window, the br@celet in my hand and watched as the rain reduced to a drizzling pour.
For the first time in my life, I felt something about a lady brother me but I couldn’t quite put my f!nger at it.
She was the one – the same lady I’d been looking for.
But why would she hide her identity from me, huh? Why?
My phone buzzed in my pocket and I brou-ght it out to see it was Andrea.
Oh…Andrea; not now.
I turned off the phone and put it back into pocket. Shortly, the door opened and I tuned to see it was Mabel.
“Brother”, she called as she walked in. She was alre-ady in her nightie.
“You called for me?”
I turned and stood properly to face her as she continued walking.
“I’ve found her”, i said and she st©pped walking.
“O…kay. Who exactly?” She asked and I smiled feignly and showed the br@celet to her.
“Danica – the lady I’ve been looking for” I answered and her eyes beamed.
“Oh my God! Oh my God! How did you find her??” She almost squealed
“She’s the same lady I was paired with, that’s been coming here for experiments”,
Her eyes beamed the more.
“Are you serious??? She’s the one?? How…How did you know? I mean…” She scoffed.
“What happened, Nathan?”
I stared down at the br@celet and didn’t say a word.
“What did…what did she say? Wat was her Reactions?” She further asked but I shook my head.
“She doesn’t know I’m aware”.
“Hah!” She g@sped and c@m£ close.
“So…what do you wanna do? I mean, what’s your plan?”
I sighed and kept the br@celet beside me.
“I’ll approach her tomorrow”,I said.

Danica
It was 1.26 p.m.
I crosschecked my self in front of the mirror before leaving the room with my bag.
I met mum coming out of the kitchen, smoking a cigarette.
“Where are you off to?” She asked grumpily as soon as she saw me and I slackened my steps.
“I’m…I’m going for a group re-ading, mum. Today’s actually the final day for me”, I replied and she stared at me from head to toe.
“Whatever” she rolled her eyes and walked away.
G©sh!
I tried not to take it in. So, I shook my head and walked out of the house.
On my way to the road to get a cab, I bu-mped into someone else. Huh?
Scott.
What the h’ll?? Why was I just bu-mping into annoying people?
I gawped at him as he c@m£ close and stood in front of me. But I noticed something else, he kinda looked angry.
“Scott…”
“Where were you last night, Danica?” He cut me off and I cringed a little.
Seriously?
“Who did you go out with?”
I looked around to be sure he was referring to me…he really was referring to me.
“I…I don’t get you, Scott. What’re you talking about?”
“I had stayed un-der the rain, Danica, waiting for you to come home. But when you did, i saw you coming out of a man’s car. Who the hell was that?” He rasped and I blinked ra-pidly.
Woah. Seriously?
I chuckled and bit my lowerl-ip.
“Seriously, Scott, let’s get this straight
“Firstly,I never asked you to wait un-der the rain like a homeless backstabber. Secondly, you have no right to question me about my whereabouts. If I go out with a man, it should be none of your business”
To my surprise, he gr@bb£d me r0ûghly by the arm.
“It seems you’re not getting me, Danica” he growled.
“I don’t care if I’ve hurt your feelings in the past. Sh*t, i did! Everyone makes mistakes! So, I want you to know it isn’t over between us,,okay? Do you un-derstand? No matter what, you’re still mine”.
I was gob sma-cked as I stared at him like a ghost. My heart skipped at the way he spoke. I’d never seen him this way before.
He suddenly let go of my hand like he’d realized he was hurting me and sighed.
“You’re crazy,,Scott”, I muttered in shock and watched him leave.

*
Throu-ghout the ride to the palace, i felt weak and blenched and didn’t know what exactly was bothering me.
Prince Nathan? Or Scott?
No; Scott. His was worst.
How could he….threaten me? Tell me he doesn’t care if he’d hurt me in the past or not? Like….
Does he really think he still had control over me? Does he really tho he can just walk back into my life like nothing has happened?
Holy Christ!
I shook my head in shock and tried getting over it. I couldn’t let it ruin my last moments with the prince. No, never.
Ahh! The same prince I was so nervous around.
I finally got to the palace and paying the cabby, I continued the rest of the distance to the gate – as usual.
I got to the gate, knocked on it and when the guards confirmed I was the one, they let me in.
I headed straight to the usual building the prince and I always used. But getting there, I was st©pped by his driver who was standing outside the red flashy car. It was the same driver that’d dropped me off the previous night.
“Excuse me, miss”, he called my attention and I st©pped to look at him.
I went closer.
“Good day”, I bowed a little.
“Yeah. Actually, I’ve been waiting for you”,
Huh?
“You nee-d to get into the car with me, plea-se. Prince Nathan asked me to take you somewhere”.
