✒✒Adams POV

“Its been two days since we locked her up and she hasn’t taken anything.” Larry told Adams who was busy eating his breakfast.
Adams dropped his spoon, “that is p@rt of her punishment for trying to kill me. Neither food nor water should be given to her.” He replied. “What is taking jerry and Lucky to report to me, he continued, keep dialing Willy and Angela’s number, its been two days and I haven’t seen her or hear from her. She told me she was going to Willy’s house and have been trying his number to ask about his sister.”

Larry picked up Adams phone, “don’t worry yourself Adams, you know how she is, she’s just catching fun around as usual.”
Adams turned to him, “just keep calling them, I nee-d to speak to one of them.”

“Hello” the door bur-st open, Lucky’s voice echoed as he walked in. “How is the great Adams doing?”
“Great as usual!” He said slowly, knowing he was been mocked. He sighed, “Hope you did what I asked you?”
“Well, Lucky got himself a chair, he sat beside him and brou-ght out the two Identity cards he kept. “I found out someone has been using my dead cousin’s name, Juliana!” He bur-st out.
Adams paused for a while, he didn’t want Lucky to know he knew about his cousin’s death. He drank little out of his jui-ce before replying, “Did you find out her real name?”
He handed the two identity cards to Adams, “Its Sammy Lawson, the lady Linda lives with, and this p@rticular lady is my Dad’s personal secretary.”

Its starting to make s-en-se to Adams, who is Sammy Lawson? Are they both working for Juliana? Did
George suspect anything strange going on? Adams
thought. ‘ This p@rticular lady is my Dad’s personal
secretary. ‘ He thought of what Lucky said. “I nee-d to meet this Sammy Lawson,” He whispered out. “What else did you find out?”
“Nothing! Lucky replied, she doesn’t have a p@rticular work she’s doing but I was told she’s been sp©tted at Malik’s bar. I couldn’t talk to him because he wasn’t around.”
Adams thanked him, “You’ve done very well, thanks.”
“Can I see her?” Lucky asked in a low tone getting a look from Adams before he allowed him.
He entered a room and moved with uncertain steps to where Linda was, “Hello” he greeted, Linda raise her head slowly, she stared at the person standing at her front fixing her tired, weak eyes on Lucky’s face. “Lucky, I’m sorry.” She pleaded in a weak toneless voice.
“Why?” He moved closer to her and brushed off the tears clinging to her eyes. “I…I’m sorry! I know you’ve found out everything but plea-se don’t tell him Juliana is alive.”
“Alive?” He looked at her in surprise.
“Aren’t you the one that went to my house?” She asked.

“Yes, its me, but Linda, he continued, there is something I want to ask you. I saw two identity cards of the Sammy Lawson and Juliana Rios, my cousin. Linda, that lady works for my Dad and she’s also using my dead cousin’s name. I know she’s the lady you gave the key to, and she’s the friend you’ve been helping. I wanna know why? Who is she? What does she have against Adams for s£nding you to poison him? Why is she using my dead cousin’s name and do you know Juliana? Linda I have a lot of questions to ask you, my Dad reported his do¢v-ments to his properties were stolen, which I knew happened after my key was stolen. What has my father got to do in this matter? Who is behind all of this? I wanna know Linda, plea-se tell me the truth, what’s going on? He asked leaving no question unasked.
Tears pricked down at the corner of her eyes, Lucky felt so sorry for her, he could see the pain she was going throu-gh. He knew she would have suffer from Adams since she was brou-ght here seeing her face badly bruised. No matter how he wants to help her, he nee-ds to know the truth.

Linda stared at Lucky, thinking whether to tell him or not. She knew he had kept her secret from Adams but she doubt if he would help her if he come to know Juliana’s intentions for his Dad. She opened her mouth, “I will nee-d your help after I tell you everything, but promise me you will help me no matter what.”
“I promise.” He said

Linda searched his face, its time to spill the bean, right now, Juliana nee-ds her help, and only Lucky can help her. “Lucky, she called out his name in a low tone, your cousin, Juliana, is A-” she was interrupted by Lucky’s phone call, Lucky looked down at his caller, ‘Catherine’ he murmured. He stood to his feet and picked his call. “I don’t get it, what the hell is wrong with your phone?” Catherine spilled out. “Dad had been arrested!”

“What! For what? He whispered out.

“For what I still can’t believe Lucky. But not only that, Juliana’s Mom file a report against Dad. She’s Alive!”
“What?” He cuts in

“I can’t believe Dad is involved in Uncle Wilson’s death Lucky.” Her voice shaking as if she was trying not to cry. “Meet me at home.” She said before she hung up.
Still standing on his sp©t, Lucky turned to Linda. “You mean to say Juliana is Alive.” He said.

“Yes” Linda nodded. “The identity cards you saw, thinking someone is using your cousin’s name is false because the face you saw in that Identity cards is Juliana. She had an operation. She added, I nee-d you to help me get out of this place. She pleaded as tear rolled down her face. I nee-d to save Juliana. She nee-ds my help right now. Once Adams find out that she’s the real Juliana, he’s going to kill her. plea-se Lucky, I promise to tell you everything. Save me so I can save Juliana’s life.” She begged.

✅Juliana POV✅

As consciousness flowed back into my b©dy and the fog cleared from my eyes, I took in the strange room and realized, I was laying on a be-d. The whole place looked familiar. Yes, had been here many times. Its Willy’s house.

Willy told me I finally woke up after three days of being unconscious. Then the memory c@m£ flooding back, I was hit by a car in an attempt to save Willy. “How you feeling?” I heard his cool voice asked. Trying to turn my head, I realized I couldn’t. Fear instantly rose up in my heart. What’s happening to me? I still didn’t say a word. I tried lifting my hand to sit straight on the be-d but I couldn’t. “Willy, what’s wrong with me?” My voice c@m£ out shaking as tears began welling up in my eyes. “Willy talk to me! I know you’re there. I can’t turn my head or move my b©dy. Willy, I can’t feel anything. Talk to me!”

“You caused it!” His voice c@m£ out in a low tone as if talking to himself. His words hit me and I can’t believe he’s saying that.
“Are you saying I caused it by saving your life?” I said in between sobs, I nee-d him to tell me what’s going on. “Willy, I nee-d to speak to the doctor if you won’t say anything.”

“Juliana take it easy.”

“Take what easy? I can’t feel anything Willy! I can’t move my b©dy.” I bur-st into tears again. “Willy, I know you saved my life because you can just let me die without you doing anything. But-”

“You saved my life Juliana.” He cut in.

“Because I owe you. You’ve done that for me many times, I can’t just let you die. You deserve it and I don’t regret what I’ve done. You’ve done so much for me! I just couldn’t see it because of my hatred towards you and your father.”

“You don’t nee-d that.” He murmured. “It will take you time……before.” He st©pped.

“Before what Willy?” I repeated.

He continued from where he st©pped, “The doctor said it will take you some time before you can walk and move your b©dy again.” As he said those words, my heart twisted with pain. Feeling helpless and useless as my eyes fell on him, “This can’t be! Is this some sort of nightmare or what? Willy!” I called out his name with tears streaming down my face. “Willy this can’t be! Now that have got legs, I can’t run. Willy say something! The doctor should find a way to help me.”
Willy drew in a long slow breath, “do you think I wouldn’t have asked that too? You’re in this condition because of me, and I know I owe you too. I’m going to take care of you. So, you’ve got no nee-d to run anywhere. I’m here for you.”

I couldn’t st©p the tears from falling, I can’t move my b©dy or move my legs. For how long will he be there for me? Is this how everything’s going to end? I can’t believe this is happening! I can’t believe this is me! Revenge! Revenge! Revenge! Now see where I end it all. I almost lost my life too. God! plea-se heal me. I can’t move my b©dy again. I can’t deny it, because I regret it all. I regret everything have done. I allowed myself to be control by my anger and hateful thoughts. God, you’re the only one who can protect me now because there is nothing I can do to help myself. I can’t fight back. “This can’t be!” I screamed. “plea-se Willy, I’m afraid your father can just find me and kill me.”
He moved closer, “I’m here for you Juliana. You’ll will be alright,” he soothed.

I couldn’t believe those words, this man is his father. I could remember vividly how his face fli-cked with anger towards me when Angela landed on the ground. Angela’s words c@m£ flooding back, she mentioned Ella being kidnap. My God! Linda! I remembered she’s the one who called me because she s-en-sed danger coming. “Willy, plea-se have you heard anything from Linda?”

“Linda? No, I haven’t!” He replied.

“Willy, my mind tells me she’s in danger too, cause I received her call telling me to leave the house before An….Angela arrived.” I hesitated before mentioning his sister’s name. But his face was calm with his voice cool as he speaks, “don’t worry, calm down! Nothing is going to happen to her.”

“Willy, I called out his name, you know, I paused for a while and we both stared at each other. I have something to tell you.” I said

“I know, his voice c@m£ out slowly, you mentioned her name in your sleep telling me to save her”

“Who?” I asked

“Ella.” He replied.

That was p@rt of what I was going say but I wanted to tell him about Ella, I want him to know so he could protect her well. But I guess I had better keep that to myself for now. “So, how is she?” I asked of Ella.
‘She’s doing well, and she’s back to school.”

A smile appeared on myl-ips, and I was a bit happy but my mind is still on Linda. “Willy, plea-se you have to find Linda. She nee-ds my help wherever she is right now.”
“Its okay, I will find her.” He told me. “Want to get you your drugs, will be right back.”
“But Willy-”

“Don’t worry, no one knows you’re here. Once I locked the door outside, no one can get in. From now on, all will be well.” He promised and hurried out.
