❤️PRINCESS MAYA❤️
I got to my chamber and I couldn’t stop smiling. I kept touching my li-ps with my fingers.
I got into the chamber and I met Katika in there.
“Katika!” I said happily and she looked at me.
“Hey! Where were you?” She asked and when she saw my expression, she narrowed her eyes.
“What are you not telling me?” She asked and I chuckled.
“I was with Arjun.” I said playing with my fingers as I walked to my bed.
“Arjun? That is weird.” She said and I laughed.
“I know. But it’s true. I was with him, and guess what? We ki-ssed.” I stated happily and she scoffed.
“What? You ki-ssed. Why did that happen? How did that happen?” She asked in shock.
“It happened. He told me he likes me, and not Akira. I am so happy Katika.” I said happily staring into space.
“That is suspicious. You went to him, and he just said that to you?” She asked and I looked at her.
“Is it that ha-rd to believe? He likes me, and that’s it. He ki-ssed me three times on the li-ps. What else is weird about that?” I asked and she swallowed ha-rd.
“Okay it’s fine. I am happy for you.” She said and I nodded smiling widely.
“You should be. So you were looking for me.” I said and she sighed sitting next to me.
“Yes. I had a call from father. And, he wants us back home. Mother is sick again, and she wants us around her.” She said and I stood up in frustration.
“Why must she always ruin my fun?? I am happy now and then sickness comes from nowhere? Why must she always fall sick?” I asked angrily and Katika looked at me unbelievably.
“Maya you should never talk like that about your mother. It’s not her fault that she is sick.” She stated.
“And it’s not my fault either, neither is it your fault. So we don’t have to suffer for it.” I said and she stood up.
“We aren’t suffering for anything! We have used a week here and it’s time we went home. We aren’t married to any of them yet, so our type is up!” She yelled and I turned my back against her angrily.
“Father is calling us home because mother is sick. If she wasn’t sick, we wouldn’t be going home this early. King Maeko and Queen Amber are totally fine with us staying as long as we want to.” I muttered.
“We are going home tomorrow and that is final. Start packing up, and say your goodbye to Arjun, your new found lover.” She said and she walked out of the room.
I breathed out angrily.
“Why can’t she just die? She doesn’t like me anyways.” I mumbled slamming into my bed.
⭕ AKIRA ⭕
“You are awkwardly silent Akira. This has never happened, and we are friends you know, you shouldn’t hide anything from me.” Vanna whispered to me and I looked at Mei who was fast asleep on her bed.
“I am scared to tell anyone because it’s a life and death situation.” I muttered and she held my hand.
“Akira, you are my only friend. And I am here for you, at anytime. You can talk to me. I am not happy with the way you are keeping things from me.” She said and I sighed.
“I had a dream. And the dream was not one that can be heard outside the walls of this room.” I said and she nodded paying rapt attention.
“So tell me.” She whispered and I bowed my head.
“I had a dream that Princess Hana wanted us to go to the market to get something for her. She asked me to come along and she was with Prince Arjun.”
“We were in the market, Princess Hana asked me to pick up a jewelry for her.” I said smiling.
“Then we saw these men on horses, riding it into the markets with gun and spears. They began to kill those around them.” I said with my eyes watering.
“I stared at them and then Prince Arjun grabbed my hand and we began to run. We got to this old house and we hid ourselves in it.”
“Things got intense, and he ki-ssed me.” I whispered into her ears and her eyes wide-ned.
“What?” She whispered and I nodded.
“At the end, he was shot and then I woke up.” I said and she stared into space.
“This isn’t good.” She said and I nodded sighing.
“I can’t let anything happen to him. I was so scared and I was so so scared. And that was why I ran out of the room. And that was when I realized that he had the same dream.” I said and she looked at me.
“This is more serious than I thought.” She said and I nodded.
“After we met, we entered into an empty room to talk, and we walked out. After some minutes, Aaron came to tell me that Princess Maya saw us walking into the room.”
“Oh My God. Akira this is bad.” She said in a shaky voice and I nodded.
“I am scared. What if she tells king Maeko? I am dead.” I mumbled in tears and she hu-gged me.
“Prince Arjun will do everything to make sure you are safe.” She said and I cleaned my eyes.
“I don’t think so. I don’t know what to do.” I said and just then we heard the voice of a man at the door.
“Akira. You are nee-ded right now.” He said in a very hoarse voice and our eyes wide-ned.
“I am dead Vanna.” I said in tears.

⭕ AKIRA ⭕
I got out of the room and I saw the guard that called me.
“I am here. Who called me?” I asked and then Princess Maya appeared.
“I called you.” She said coldly and I swallowed ha-rd looking at her.
“Walk with me.” She said and I furrowed my brows but didn’t make any statements. I just nodded and began to follow her with my head bowed.
“You know for sometimes, I thought you were a rival to me, but now I know you are nothing.” She said and I arched my brows in confusion.
“You actually did your part well Akira. And I should thank you for that.” She said and I was for-ced to speak up.
“I don’t un-derstand Princess Maya.” I said and she stopped walking and then looked at me.
“You thought Prince Arjun liked you right?” She asked and i shook my head immediately.
“Of course not my Princess. Everyone knows he likes you.” I said and she smiled.
“Really? Didn’t know it was that obvious. So all he was doing was to see my reaction.” She said staring into space and I nodded smiling.
I knew I had to play along to make sure she doesn’t spill anything to King Maeko.
“Arjun talks about you a lot. He is just looking for the perfect time to let you know.” I said smiling and then I saw her blus-h.
“Actually he did it already.” She said and my eyes wide-ned.
“What? What did he do?” I asked feeling great jealously in me.
“He ki-ssed me.” She said and my eye lid began to shake. I swallowed ha-rd as I saw the smile on her face.
“Wow. I am happy for you Princess Maya.” I said within gritted teeth and she nodded.
“And that’s why you have to stay away from him. He doesn’t like you, so back off.” She said in an angry tone and I was shocked.
I thought we were becoming friends already. Why the sudden change of heart?
“Princess Maya believe me, I don’t like the Prince. I know he has liked you right from the beginning, so why should I like him when he doesn’t like me back?” I asked and then someone coughed next to us.
We both turned our head to see Katika.
“We nee-d to go now Maya. Father sent them to pick us up already.” She said and I looked at Princess Maya who looked frustrated.
“Can’t he wait for just an hour? Arjun should be awake before then. I nee-d to say goodbye to him.” She said and I felt bu-tterflies in my belly.
“She is leaving! She is really leaving!” I yelled in my head but kept a straight face.
“He can’t wait. Mother nee-ds us now.” She said and then Princess Maya looked at me.
“Remember what I said always. Stay away from Arjun and kill does stupid feelings of yours because he is mine. And don’t be too happy I am leaving,I have eyes everywhere.”
“Any stupid move from you to my man, I am one call away. And I will make sure I come down here and we settle the matter with the King.” She said and I let fear take over my face.
“I will do just that Princess Maya.” I said bowing and then she moved her hand in a direction which means I should leave.
I nodded and began to walk away slowly.
“You believed what she said about her not having feelings for Arjun?” Princess Katika asked her sister.
“Of course not. But now she knows I am with Arjun, and she shouldn’t get close to him at all. I have eyes all over the Palace, people she doesn’t even think could work for me.” She said and that was the last thing I could hear.
Who could be helping her in this Palace? Anyone in their right senses would never help a b**ch like her. She should get the hell out of here as soon as possible.
“Akira.” I heard Nikita call.
“Ma’am Nikita.” I responded walking to her as she approached me.
“How is your face now?” She asked and I smiled.
“I have even forgotten I have a scar on my face.” I said touching my face. I wasn’t feeling anymore pains.
“You talked to Maya. Are you okay?” She asked looking worried and I nodded.
“I am fine. She was just giving me warnings, to stay away from her man.” I said and she scoffed.
“Her Man? You mean Arjun?” She asked as we both walked down the hallway.
“Yes.” I replied and she laughed.
“C’mon,Arjun hates her.” She said and I laughed.
“I don’t think so, considering the fact that she just told me he ki-ssed her.” I said.
“What? That would be a lie. Why would he ki-ss her?” She asked.
“The big question of the year.” I responded and then we saw Aaron In front of us.
“Akira. Mother, can I talk to Akira? In Private?” He asked immediately and she looked at him in suspicion.
“What’s going on with you two? You are acting weird.” She said and he sighed.
“Trust me Mother, I am totally fine.” He said and then she breathed out looking at me before walking away.
“What Is it Aaron? This look on your face scares me. And I think we should be happy, Princess Maya is leaving.” I said happily.
“She is leaving??” He asked narrowing his gaze and I nodded.
“Yes why?” I asked and then he shook his head.
“That’s not the issue now. The issue now is that Prince Arjun is in front of the priest right now.” He said.
“What does that mean? What is he doing with the Priest?” I asked in confusion.
“I know it was wrong, what I did. But, I eavesdropped when you and Arjun were in that empty room.” He said and my eyes wide-ned.
“What? Why would you do that?” I asked angrily.
“I am sorry, I was just curious. But believe me, I am fine with it. But right now the Priest would be searching Prince Arjun’s mind for the dream.”
“He wants to see things for himself. How the dream went.” He said and I nodded.
“That’s cool. At least they can do something about the rising war.” I said and he then tapped me gently.
“Akira think! If he sees the dream he would see where you guys ki-ssed, and he won’t leave anything out for the king because it’s an abomination.” He said and my eyes wide-ned.
I felt my knees wobble as he spoke and my eyes heated up.
“Oh No! What do I do! What do we do?” I asked in fear and I began to sweat.
“We nee-d to distract them from doing that mind reading.” He said and I furrowed my brows.
“How? We can’t do anything to stop this Aaron. We are slaves.” I said in tears.
“I can.” We heard a familiar voice and I turned to see Princess Hana behind us.
“You know??” I asked stammering.
“He told me.” She said and then looked at Aaron.
“But how do we do this? How do we distract them until we find a way to solve this problem?” Aaron asked.
“I will be the distraction. You nee-d to stab me.” She said and my eyes wide-ned.
“What?” Aaron asked in shock.
