*Reception*
Jade was happy, and her happiness knew no bound. She was laughing to something Lair had said when she noticed the exchange between Jake and Blake.
“Babe what’s going on?” She curiously inquired but Jake smiled and ki-ssed the back of her palm.
“Just wait and see,” he told her, and that piqued her interest even more.
She snapped her head to look at Blake when she heard the clanking sound of gl@$$ and spoon, before he cleared his throat on the mic.
“Good evening everyone, I know you guys are so eager to see the couple swirl around the dance floor, believe me I’m eager too so I’ll do this quickly and let’s get to it.” Blake joked while the guest laughed heartily.
He turned to Jake and Jade, “So bro I know I’m supposed to say alot of good things about you right now but I won’t because that would make me the worst best man.” He teased. Jake sighed and shook his head amusedly. As expected, he sighed.
“Before Jake met the beautiful lady sitted by his side he was a bad example to me, if you know what I mean. He made us worry, so much we fasted and prayed for a change to come, and one day God answered our honest plea in the form of sister in-law, and suddenly my brother turned into a lovestruck fool. At first glance you’d see the love between them, it’s breathtaking and cheesy, it makes me cringe. So on this day I wish you a happy and blessed home, filled with love, harmony and joy. Please don’t be in a haste to make me an uncle, I can’t start that race of catering for a nephew that would be as troublesome as you bro. But for a mini sister in-law, I sure can compromise.” He said and everyone laughed again.
Raising his gl@$$ he added, “So let’s make a toast to the love birds ‘Jadke 2021’.” He let out an short chortle like chuckle while everyone laughed again before he continued.
“To your new home.” He cheered and everyone chorused before cl-icking their gl@$$es together.
But Blake wasn’t done with his speech yet. He dropped his gl@$$ and cleared his throat one more time before taking a few steps towards the head table, his eyes locked on a particular somebody.
“So when my brother and sister in-law were chasing love, I had this beautiful woman who kept chasing after me, believe she was relentless in her pursuit not giving me a chance to sli-p off her fingers. She was so courageous with her confession and pursuit till I couldn’t help but say yes. I literally couldn’t escape her clutch. She’s a determined woman.” He paused and intensed his gaze more at Amy who was feeling embarr@$$ed. One look at her flushed cheeks and you’d know.
“I asked brother if I can use his reception for this and he agreed, so don’t be angry and bear with me,” He said, before going down on his knees, his hand pulling out a blue velvet box from his pocket. Everyone gasped and looked in shock most especially Amy who looked and felt thun-derstruck when she saw him, her eyes almost popping out of their sockets.
‘What’s happening?’ She asked herself in shock.
“Amy Walker, I know this must be too quick but I think you’d agree if I say that I’ve wasted too much of our time. Had I not been too dense we’d probably have two kids already.” Everyone couldn’t help but laugh at his craziness.
“Amy I’m sorry for rejecting you on that day, I was so clueless and stupid. Thank you for coming after me with all you’ve got, for not giving up on me even when I was so annoying. I’m so happy to have a woman like you in my life and that’s why I’ve decided to take this big step. Amy Walker I love you to the moon and back, and I can’t wait to spend forever with you. I know we’re both guest here but I’m sure Jake and Jade doesn’t mind if we crash their party and steal their thun-der. I’m simply impatient to share my life with you, and I’d be happiest man on earth right now if you agree to marry me.” Opening the box and revealing the ring, he asked the earth swirling question.
“Amy Walker will you do me the honours of being my wife?”
Jade shrieked happily as she nudged Amy who was looking so stunned, by the side. Everyone was in awe, they gushed at the R0m-ntic scene playing out right now.
Amy was so stunned she couldn’t help but blink her eyes rapidly. Her heart thumped erratically behind her che-st.
“Come on say yes,” Some echoed from the back and soon everyone started chanting, “Say yes.”
Amy couldn’t believe what was happening. She looked at Jade who was cheering for her with a hu-ge grin plastered on her face. “Come on say yes,” She heard her say.
Amy turned back to look at Blake who was still on his impatiently waiting for her answer, and her heart couldn’t help but race fas-ter.
With tears stinging her eyes, she nodded her head and said, “Yes.” The whole hall echoed with cheers, and round of clap-s.
Blake smiled broadly when she said yes, he rose to his feet, walked to her and reached for her hand. He sli-pped the ring into her finger and at that moment a tear fell from Amy’s eyes as she stared at it.
“It’s beautiful,” She said before staring at Blake with tear stained eyes. He wiped her tears away with his thumb and smiled.
“I love you Amy, I’m sorry for taking so much time to realise it,” He said while Amy shook her head.
“But you’ve made up for it,” She waved her ring at him making him chuckle.
“I love you.” He said before claiming her li-ps with his while everyone cheered for them. Everyone had smiles on their faces, joy and happiness radiated in the atmosphere.
This was what they have all longed for. A happy ending at last.

Jade was quite surprised to see the suite that had been booked for them for the night. It looked like the very one Jake had taken her to on their first night, she suspected it was different, because this was more grand and beautiful. But then again she couldn’t be too sure because she had been too nervous at the time to take a look at the room, but it felt like it.
Her eyes swept across the room where they’d be spending the night because they weren’t able to leave for their honeymoon. The reception had extended into the night because they had to celeBr@te the double occasion; Their wedding and Blake’s engagement.
The heart shaped red petals beautifully arrayed on the bed, made the all-white room look prominent and the dimmed lights and scented candles gave a sensual feeling to it.
She smiled when she saw Jake walking towards her with a bottle of champagne and two bubble gl@$$es. He was looking like a delicious meal with his half bu-ttoned shirt and lose bow tie which was still hanging around his ne-ck.
“Haven’t we had enough drinks already?” She asked with a smile.
“We have, but I haven’t had one with you,” He said as he p@$$ed her the gl@$$es and popped open the bottle of wine.
He filled the gl@$$es and dropped the bottle on the platform close to his feet.
Receiving one of the gl@$$es he stared into her beautiful blue eyes, “To making me the luckiest man on the planet,” He toasted.
“And to being my husband,” She added before clinking gl@$$es with him.
Husband? She couldn’t believe she was finally married to the man of her dreams. To the man she had shared her first time with. Who had loved her regardless of her naivety, and had shown her what true love is.
Today was the happiest day of her life.
Jade turned around to look at the room one more time. She still had that feeling about the room, and she didn’t know if she should ask, and she couldn’t stop herself from asking.
“Jake isn’t this the….room we…” She slurred as her cheeks burned with a blus-h. She couldn’t bring herself to say it, because that memory still felt very embarr@$$ing.
Jake waited for her to complete her question but it seems she was done asking. He knew what she wanted to ask.
He took a step closer to her and hu-gged her from behind, his hand firmly holding her wa-ist, “Yes it is. This was where it all started. My journey with you,” He said before dropping a feathery ki-ss on her ne-ck, Jade felt her feet curl when he ki-ssed her.
She turned around to look at him. “Did you plan this?” She asked again while he slowly shook his head.
“Your brother in-law did,” Jake knew this was Blake’s handiwork the moment he saw the key card and packets of condoms he had dropped on the bed side table.
He snak-ed his hand around her wa-ist and pulled her close to his che-st, his eyes staring into hers. “And I’m glad he did, because now i can do it right,” He said before taking her li-ps with his.
Jade swallowed when he ki-ssed her like that. This ki-ss was p@$$ionate and it was nothing like the several ones they shared before. It carried alot of emotions, love, care and lust.
Jake suddenly pulled away but still hovered his li-ps over hers.
“I have a gift for you,” He said in a husky voice.
“Really? What is it?” Jade asked back in a whisper. Her vocal chords could ba-rely make proper sounds as she felt hot all over her body.
“You’ll have to see it,” He told her.
“Then let it wait. There’s something else I’d love to explore.” She said in a nee-dy voice before wrapping her hand around his ne-ck and slamming her li-ps against his.
Jake felt his head spin that same second, he couldn’t help but agree with her. He responded to her ki-ss, and he could swear he had never tasted anything better than the li-ps of his wife.
Jake’s eyes glinted with a fleeting and unidentifiable emotion before he slowly turned her around so he could access the fastenings on the back of her gown.
His hands slowly moved as they unfastened the bu-ttons. Jade stood still as his fingers looped throu-ghthe bu-tton flap-s, undoing each fastening slowly and carefully. His li-ps planting ki-sses on her back with every bu-tton he unfastened. His hot breath warmed her back and she couldn’t help but burn with endless nee-d.
If only he wasn’t this torturously slow.
Suddenly, the bodice of her dress loosened and slowly sli-pped off her body. Jake sli-pped his hand around her wa-ist and slowly ease it down to the floor until she could step out of it. His head was bent down, and his breath ki-ssed her exp-osed skin making her shudder.
He slowly stood up right, and helped her out of the dress, his eyes glowed with want as his gaze care-ss ed her skin.
The sight of her in matching white lace pan-ties and bustier made his breath choppy, and his eyes hoaded with lust and desi-re.
“Jade,” He breathed with a thick voice as he took in her gorgeousness with his eyes. Jade took a step towards him and tugged at the lapels of his suit, which she shrugged off. Thereafter she grabbed his shirt and yanked at his bu-ttons. Jake let her stri-p ba-re.
His li-ps curved up when she bit her li-ps lasciviously as she ogled at his upper body.
“Pervert,” He teased but his wife wasn’t up for games as she stared de-ep into his eyes, her hands resting on his ba-re stomach which were ripping with ha-rd muscles, before moving it down to his belt.
“Honey, I want you,” She purred as her hands fumbled with his belt with increasing desperation leaving him in nothing but his briefs.
“I want you too baby,” He huskily growled against her ears as he scooped her into his arms and placed her on the soft, luxurious bed.
Hovering over her with his large ha-rd body he fiercely claimed her li-ps and ki-ssed her with no abandon. Jade slide her finger throu-ghhis hair and rasped, “I’m all yours Jake, make me yours.” taking his li-ps back into her mouth hungrily.
*40 minutes later*
“Oh baby,” They both cried out when he thru-st into her. Jade suddenly remembered the pain she had felt on that first night when he had thru-st into her like this. Now, there was no pain, only a wave of sensual plea-sure. It was something she had never felt before. It was sweet and heavenly.
Jake was tender and demanding, giving her a life altering experience she had never felt before. They were both lost in their desi-res, till they both coaxed each other to their own release.
Their breaths were short and jagged as they collap-sed on the bed together. His arms wrapped around her possessively against his trembling body. He ki-ssed her temples and smiled, “That was incredible.”
Jade’s cheeks slightly flushed as she hu-gged him back and buried her face on his che-st as she groggily muttered, “I love you, husband.”
“I love you wifey,” He ki-ssed her forehead.
Jake ti-ghtened his grip around her wa-ist and pulled her closer.
“Meeting you was the best encounter of my life.” He whisperered into her ears.
“It all started here, and now we’re still here, but the difference is, NOW YOU ARE MINE.”
