*Blake’s Office*

“Hey you,” Amy said from the door with a bright smile spilting her face. Blake lifted his head towards the door, a smile already plastered on his face as he didn’t nee-d anyone to tell him who was at the door. It was Amy.

“Hey there,” He replied smilingly making Amy blus-h. She couldn’t get used to his gorgeous face smiling handsomely at her. Sweet lord, it always makes her go weak on her knees.

“Can I steal you for a moment?” Amy asked stepping into the office.

“Do you nee-d to ask? After all I’m all yours.” Blake replied back with a boyish smile, as he signalled her to come over. He pulled his chair backward as he waited for her to walk closer to him. A shy smile crossed Amy’s face as she walked closer to him and p@$$ed his desk till she stood in front of him.

Blake looked her from head to toes, his eyes glistening with admiration as he scanned all her curves with his eyes. Did he just realize she was very curvy and voluptuous in all the right places? No he didn’t think so. It just that his eyes can’t stop wandering around her recently. And it seems all her clothes were made to show just how endowed she was, just like the peach formal knee length gown she was donned in.

“You’re killing me with all these curves.” Blake shamelessly said, p-ulling her to sit on his lap-s making a light yelp escape Amy’s mouth.

“Shh..Do you want people to think we’re doing something in here?” He asked amusedly, wrapping his hand around her wa-ist.

Amy wrapped her hand around his ne-ck and pec-ked his li-ps, “I don’t mind. I’m always up to do something.” She winked at him. “You’re the one who’s not willing to.” She kizzed him on his li-ps again. Blake’s li-ps curved upward when she behaved like that. Her forwardness and boldness was one thing he admired alot about her. She knew what she wants and she always goes for it tirelessly, just like she came after him and he had no choice but to surrender.

Blake brushed a lock of her hair hovering over her ne-ck, backward and slowly lowered his head to place a kizz there making Amy close her eyes and mo+an silently with her eyes closed. He dropped a few more kizzes on her ne-ck as well as her collar bone and it made Amy feel good. Amy brushed her hand throu-ghhis hair while he kizzed her there. His warm breath and li-ps were making her hot everywhere and craving to have him touch her, but then he wouldn’t. Only God knew what was holding him back, and it wasn’t like anything could happen now since they were both sitting in his office.

Amy was still enjoying the feel of his mouth on her when he suddenly pulled away making her hiss in frustration. She looked at him with eyes glistening with p@$$ion.

She looked into his eyes and she could see the same p@$$ion in there and it made her wonder what was holding him back. In the last one week, despite all the signals she has given this man, and despite the desi-re she could see in his eyes, he had refused to make a move on her.

Blake chuckled when he saw the begrudging look on her face.

“Are you that eager?” He teased her as he kizzed the tip of her nose.

“Haven’t i waited enough? Do I still have to wait for this too?” She asked him with a frowny face as she fiddled with the bu-tton of his shirt.

Blake reached for her cheek and gently care-ssed it with his thumb making Amy to close her eyes as she enjoyed his touch, “I’ll always be sorry for making you wait, but now you have me and every other thing can wait, okay?”

“But what if I don’t want to wait?” She asked him. “What if I want you now?” She leaned in and kizzed his cheek before slowly moving towards his ear, her tongue teasing the sen-sitive pa-rt.

“Amy….can you just wait?”

“What exactly are we waiting for?” She asked him as she carried on with her teasing.

“For the right time. It’s just been a week.” Blake told her. He wouldn’t lie, he wanted her just as much as she wanted him, but he didn’t want to rush things with her.

Amy look at him begrudgingly. She didn’t nee-d a right time, everytime with him was perfect. She didn’t want to waste any more time with him.

Amy wanted to snap at him but an idea came into her mind, making her li-ps curve up.

“Fine do what you like, but don’t blame me if I try to se-duce you, as you already know I’m not a very patient woman.” She said in a sultry tone, her voice lowered while she batted her eyelashes a few times almost in slow motion, ensuring her breath warmed his ear. She let out a se-xy smile which curved her li-ps so beautifully.

“Am–”

“You asked for it Blake Beau, I’ll make you beg for it.” She leaned in and kizzed his li-ps, more like teased them with her tongue. Blake tried to capture her li-ps in his but he wasn’t fast enough. She slowly got off his thi-ghs….but very slowly making sure to ru-b her @$$ on him as she stood up while Blake sighed.

Blake couldn’t help but watch as she swayed her @$$ while she walked away. She paused when she got to the door and turned to look at him. She smiled when she saw his eyes glued to her. ‘This is just a tease, wait till I start’ She said to herself.

“Boss Beau?” She called jolting him back to reality. Blake blinked his eyes a few time before looking at her face.

“Hm” He was being tempted and hell, he liked this temptation. Truth be told he had no idea why he was even waiting. Damn!

“About what I came here for, can you help me run a code? I’m sort of stucked with it. And I nee-d it for my presentation.” She told him. Well that was her main purpose of being there until he started kizzing her knowing fully well she couldn’t get away from his charms.

“Are you trying to use me?” Blake asked amusedly.

“Isn’t that the perk of dating a genius?” She raised a brow at him making Blake smile as he nodded his head.

“Okay I’ll but can i do it later? I have a meeting and it’s being held outside the company. I’ll have to leave in few minutes.” He told her while Amy nodded.

“Okay I’ll wait…but only for this.” She said with a suggestive smile making Blake shake his head frustratedly.

This girl was going to be the death of him he was sure.

How did he fall for her?
________

“Call grandfather.” Jake ordered Kyle as he drove at high speed.

Kyle looked at him worriedly when he saw the frantic look on his face. They were chasing the bad guy so why was he calling grandfather? Kyle asked himself. They should be calling the police and not the old man, but when Kyle met with Jake’s cold eyes he immediately whipped out his phone and started dialling grandfather’s number. He couldn’t remember the last time he had dialled this number. It felt strange, but in a good way. It made him realize that he has indeed gotten his family back. This was what he had secretly been praying for.

Kyle dialled grandfather’s number but he didn’t answer his phone.

“He isn’t picking up.” Kyle told him.

“Keep on trying.” Jake ordered coldly.

He stepped on the pedal and drove drove as fast as he could. He had a thousand thoughts running throu-ghhis mind at the moment. And all of them were enough to make his Br@in explode. He has been going throu-ghrecently and he didn’t want to add more stuff to his plate.

If what Kyle had said was true then what was the purpose behind all of this?

Shit! He cussed in his head again as he increa-sed the speed of his car and drove a little fas-ter. How great of him to not drive one of his sports car today of all days.

“Just perfect!” He exclaimed when he drove into traffic.

Kyle looked at him and he noticed the frantic look on his face. As a matter of fact he looked more than frantic, he looked angry and worried.

He couldn’t stop himself from asking, “Jake what is it? What’s going on?” He asked, it didn’t look like they were merely chasing the man anymore, it was far more serious than that.

Jake looked at him, his eyes were filled with anger, “That man is Grandfather’s butler.” He said those words with fright.

“What?” Kyle exclaimed in disbelief. “How did that happen?” He asked but Jake’s mind was too preoccu-pied to answer that.

de-ep down in his heart he wanted Kyle to say he had mistook the man for someone else, but the more he waited the more his anxiety grew. Things had better turn out differently.

He looked around as he tried to find a way out of the traffic. Luckily, he was able to see an alley which byp@$$ed the traffic, but it was a longer route back to the mansion.

He just hoped he got home first. He really nee-ded a head start on how to deal with this recent development.

The momemt they arrived the mansion, Jake hopped out of his car and rushed into the house in large strides, with Kyle trailing behind. He hurried up to the patio where his grandfather usually sat but he wasn’t there.

He hurried towards the room he flung the door open without knocking when he heard the retching sound coming out of the room.

“Grandfather!” He called out in fright when he he saw his grandfather hovering over the toilet seat trying to puke his gut out.

“Grandfather.” Kyle also called out when he saw the man, he looked so frail and pale. What was wrong with him?

Jake gently patted his grandfather’s back to calm him down. He helped him up but the man staggered backwards. Jake was quick enough to hold him study. His heart ached when he saw his grandfather condition.

“Why are you like this?” He asked in an almost teary voice. Everyone important in his life were in a terrible condition and it was toiling on him. He had their doctor checking up on grandfather and the man had @$$ured him he was fine, even the few times he spoke with grandfather on the phone he sounded fine, but right now he didn’t look fine. He was so lean and he looked weak. How did this happen in a week and why didn’t Blake tell him it was this serious!

He hissed in his mind, he couldn’t blame Blake, he was at fault. He has been neglecting his responsibilities. He wasn’t capable of taking care of anyone.

“I’m okay.” Grandfather Beau said with a small weak smile.

“No you’re not!” Jake and Kyle said simultaneously.

Grandfather Beau let out a weak chuckle when he heard them, “It’s….good to have you back grandson” He said with bated breath.

“Let us be the judge of that.” Jake said before taking him to his room.

“How’s Jade?” Grandfather Beau asked as Jake and Kyle tucked him in bed.

“She’ll be fine, but you should worry about yourself first.” Jake told him making grandfather Beau nod.

He gave Jake a once over and hissed, “You look so lean.” Grandfather Beau commented, making Jake scoff.

“But not as much as you are. I’ll be fine when you all get better.” He couldn’t eat or fell at ease when everyone was like this. Apa-rt from the family there was still the company he couldn’t neglect no matter how much he wanted to atleast until Jade woke up. Whenever he was at the office, memories of the day she had come to visit him there keeps coming into his head and it was really difficult to concentrate especially when she hasn’t made any improvement in a week. The fear of losing keeps crawling into his head and it made him helpless.

Grandfather Beau reached for his hand and patted on its back, “I know you’re going throu-ghalot, but you should be strong o–.” He was yet to finish his sentence when he started coughing. Jake looked around for a bottle of water, but the bottles were all empty.

Seeing the bottles and cu-ps of herbal tea he had consumed, Jake finally remembered the main purpose they were there.

“Grandfather where is your butler?” Jake asked.

“He…he went to get my anti-emetic pills to stop the vomiting. He should be back by now.” Grandfather Beau said. Jake nodded his head before he stood to his feet. “I’ll get you some water.” Jake excused himself.

He thought about the several ways he could handle this issue. If he was to investigate this where was he going to start from, and if Kyle was right, that meant the butler who has been living in his house for the last six years was actually working for Hillary. He had to know what was going on, what is their end game and he had to do it without alarming them, most especially Hillary. He had to turn this to his advantage.

Jake had only stepped into the kitchen when he saw him there standing over the counter adding something into whatever he was stirring in a mug.

“What are you doing?” Jake asked from the door, making the butler jolt in shock making something sli-pped from his hand which rolled towards Jake’s direction. Jake wondered when and how he got back as he looked at the container rolling over.

“Mas…sir Jake” The butler called nervously as he tried to pick up the cu-p rolling over to Jake but Jake was fast enough to pick it first.

This felt like Deja Vu, Jake thought. Something similar to this had happened before, he was sure of it.

He looked at the container, it was a pill container it looked new, like it has recently been opened but it was halfly filled. His eyes darted towards the mug he had just been stirring.

“Ipecac.” Jake muttered out the name written on the container of the pill.

“Sir that belongs to me.” The butler said with an apologetic smile as he reached for it.

Jake lifted his eyes to him with his brows co–ck ed. “Is it?” He asked.

“Yes sir.” The butler replied while Jake nodded.

“Then that also belongs to you?” Jake asked tilting his head towards the mug. The butler looked at the mug on the counter and hesitantly nodded his head. “Yes sir.”

“Then you don’t mind drinking it now I suppose,” Jake asked him, his gaze on him was ironclad.

“Sir?” The butler blinked his eyes confusedly. He was sure he didn’t hear Jake well.

Jake walked p@$$ed him and towards the kitchen island. He picked up the cu-p and stretched it towards the man. “Here, drink it.”

The butler was stunned at Jake’s demand. What was happening right now? What had happened to Jake? He asked himself. Jake’s gaze was fixated on him as he tried to ascertain his every expression. Unlike what he had suspected the man was acting normal, just the way an employee would react when his boss got suspicious of him, but then again he remembered if Kyle was right that this man was truly the one that hypnotised him, then he must be good at psychology and should be able to manipulate him psychologically. But Jake wasn’t about to lose to him, if this man was really the culprit and has been plotting with Hillary while he lived here all these years then he wasn’t going to let them go. He had to be smart and beat them at their own game.

“Sir why? Did I do something that has made you suspicious of me?” The butler asked in a careful tone.

Jake furrowed his brows and asked, “Suspicious? I’m not suspicious, I’m just curious. Curious to know what this drug might actually do.” Jake said handing the cu-p over to him, but the man still didn’t attempt to take it.

“Come on, drink it.” Jake pressed.

He tilted his head to look at the cu-p, “Perhaps is it poisoned?” Jake asked.

“No! it’s not.” The butler hurriedly replied.

“Then you don’t have a problem drinking this.” He stretched out his hand again, this time the man slowly reached for it. Jake pulled back his hand a little before saying, “And don’t even think of playing games with me by spilling it, because I’ll make another cu-p for you with these same pills!”

So he had seen him add the pills to the cu-p?! How could he have been so stupid? Well, he wasn’t expecting Jake to be in the house, why didn’t he see his car parked outside?

Jake stretched out his hand again but as the man was about to take it, Jake withdrew his hand. “You know what, let’s make this more interesting,” Jake said as he placed the cu-p on the kitchen counter, opened the container of the pills and started adding more pills into the cu-p, one at a time making the butler watch him with surprised eyes, as he wondered what Jake was up to. Jake added a couple of the pills and paused before staring at the butler who was watching him with careful eyes.

“Let’s make things better, why don’t you tell me what this drug is, and who you were actually going to give it to because I have a feeling you were about to kill my grandfather, or we can do this the ha-rd way which is, I’ll call a doctor here and he/she will tell me what this drug is, and if it’s dangerous and I discover you’ve been feeding this to my grandfather, I promise you I’ll feed you the whole cu-p and you’ll either die of its effect or from overdose or maybe both. But that’s not the fun pa-rt. The fun pa-rt is I’ll tear you from limb to limb, torture till you’ll beg me to kill you and even at that point I won’t.” Jake paused and let out an eery smile, “So what do you say? The easy way or the ha-rd way. And don’t waste my time, I’m impatient right now.” He drawled, the smile on his face disappeared and a dark and murderous look covered his face.

The butler gulped when Jake’s mood changed, “Sir I don’t know what you’re talking about.” He said while his eyes started to dart around as if he was looking for something which Jake observed but he pretended like he hasn’t noticed his action. He must be looking for something to harm him, Jake reasoned to himself. Someone like this wouldn’t be an ordinary man especially if he worked for Hillary.

“ha-rd way it is then,” Jake said coldly as he whipped out his phone from his pocket, he dialled a number. “You can tell Marcus to bring his men in. We’ll be nee-ding his services after all.” He said and immediately hung up the call before looking at the Butler again.

“You still have sixty seconds, I hope you make very good use of it. And if you think you’d kill me and make a run for it, it would be a waste of time because you won’t be able to make it out of this building alive. The ball is in your court and I hope you’ll choose wisely.” Jake told him with a stoic look plastered on his face. In this game, only the smartest and the wittiest can survive.

If this was Hillary’s game then this was game over for her, because he’d make sure she never gets to roam around freely after the end of today. He was tired of all the cat and mice chase.. Planting someone in his home, invading their privacy was the last straw.
