EPISODE 9
Brina shivered. She could sense Louis ti-ghten his arms around her and, by his voice she knew he was aro-use d.
“Louis, when are we going to Alpha Academy?” Brina asked.
As for now, she doesn’t have anything to do. So, it doesn’t matter much when they go.
However, the fas-ter the better.
“Day after tomorrow. We all will be leaving early in the morning. It has to be a three hour journey. One hour by plane and next two hours by ship.” he huskily said.
At last, his hand found its way into her sleeping robe. When his warm hand tou-ched her cold stomach, Brina couldn’t help but shiver.
Blood rushed into her face and soon she became a red tomato. However, it looked so delectable in Louis’ eyes that he couldn’t help but bite her li-ps and then soothe them with his tongue.
“Brina, I can’t wait” he dangerously whispered into her ears.
Even Brina could feel it as she was sitting on him. He is clearly aro-use d. His little brother is so active right now and she could feel it.
“I…I didn’t ask you..you to wait,” Brina said, her voice faintly audible. His hands and nimble fingers aren’t letting her breath.
That’s right. She had even prepared herself during his birthday. But this unfortunate twist happened to them.
“But, I promised myself that I will wait. Baby, just a few days. If everything goes well in Alpha Academy, there is nothing we have to worry about. After that, we can throw an engagement party and directly go for marriage.” Louis said.
Taking a de-ep breath, he made Brina sit beside him rather than on him. It will cool him down a bit.
“Let’s not have an engagement function. We can have it simple, just with our family members present” Brina said.
As for marriage. It will traditionally take place in the church where all the Royal marriages take place. And, no one other than family members will be invited there. It will be simple.
In contrast, the wedding party and many other events will take place for that whole month in the palace. They are going to be very grand… literally very, very grand.

The next day pas-sed in a blink of an eye.
Brina mostly stayed back in her suite. As Eliina and Louis are spending time with their brother, Ethan, she didn’t disturb any of them.
Though Harry and Rhianna wanted to visit her, they didn’t risk it during day time. As they are guests of Prince Ethan, they have been in limelight. Their absence might be too obvious.
So, Brina invested all her time in talking with Rose about the information in Olivia’s phone.
To their disappointment, Olivia has really been cautious. She has deleted everything that could hint them about everything that’s related to her grandfather.
But that doesn’t mean it’s impossible to retrieve the information. She has the most capable people to help her, however, what matters here is time.
They had to be cautious… literally, very cautious. So, Brina had to sacrifice her curiosity and let them take how much ever time they wanted.
Later, in the evening she packed everything for her trip to Alpha Academy. They will be departing the next morning.
Brina is nervous and anxious. She really doesn’t know what’s waiting for her there and besides that, she is having a bad omen.
It’s like her senses are warning her that something really bad is going to happen.
Meanwhile…
At night…
She freshened up. Today’s night is going to be indeed very long.
Rhianna and Harry.
Natalie and Ethan.
She and Louis.
Amelia, Daniel.
Eliina, Charlotte…
They would be coming here for dinner and the boys are going to cook today. Tonight’s dinner is like a ‘best of luck’ toast to Brina and Louis.
After all, Alpha Academy is going to be the main phase of the whole competition. Eighty percent of the final results will be based on the ladies performance there.
Amelia is the first one to come. Today she has met Daniel to confess about her love.
“What happened? You look very emotional” Brina asked her, curious and anxious.
“Did you talk to him?” she questioned when she met nothing but silence.
Amelia shook her head. A tear rolled down her cheeks.
“Hey, don’t be sad, okay? Take your time and don’t push yourself, all right” Brina said, hu-gging her.
“I actually thought of ki-ssing him and running away. I thought it would give him enough time to think about me while we travel to Alpha Academy. But…but..” Amelia stopped as she clamped her hands on her mouth.
“What happened, dear?” Brina asked in a soft voice.
“Before I could ki-ss, he ki-ssed my cheek. He.. he said, he always had a special opinion on me because I am different from other ladies here. He said, “I fascinate him every time,” Amelia said, blus-hing.
As Amelia was very different from other ladies who were power greedy, Daniel used to admire her for her frankness and independent nature.
Unlike many ladies, she climbed up the ladder with her ha-rd work. Her outstanding career, excellent and prestigious degrees are the things that shone her in limelight. Not her background as the daughter of one of the powerful houses.
For that he admired her. However, he never talked with her because he always thought she didn’t like interacting with people… especially him.
He mistook her shyness to dislike.
He failed to un-derstand her and it was partly Amelia’s mistake too. She didn’t want to embarras-s herself in front of him, so she used to avoid him.
However, this time it changed, making him confused and elated at same time. Amelia lost her patience of continuing to be shyful and besides this, Brina created an opportunity for her to spend time with Daniel. This eventually made her break throu-ghher fear of refusal.
These all made Amelia talk to Daniel willingly. She even spent her free time with him at the ranch.
At first for Daniel, it used to be just admiration and respect for her. It started changing when he saw the other side of her.
She is friendly, funny, energetic and slightly weird. Without knowing, he started liking her, however, he wasn’t sure of what this closeness between them might lead to.
It used to confuse him because he was not sure what Amelia thought about him. He is just a commoner whereas she is the daughter of the prime minister, a noble daughter.
But, yesterday, his friend Louis suggested he clear this confusion.
He even advised him to ki-ss her.
And, Daniel did the same. However, he was not br@ve enough to ki-ss her on her li-ps. So, he just ki-ssed her on her cheeks, and said,
‘I admire you and respect you. You are way more accomplished and socially higher than me. But, Amelia, I don’t know why I started liking you too much. It could be because I am interested in you, fascinated by you and I do really like everything you talk, you do..’
‘I don’t know if this is love or just an advanced level of my admiration, but I do really want to know what exactly it is. So, will you give me this honour to know you more and spend more time with you?’
It is what he said to her. However, Amelia was too emotional to even talk.
….
“Brina, he likes me but he isn’t sure yet. So, I didn’t confess my real feelings towards him. I want him to solve that dilemma and come to a firm conclusion. Till then, I will not reveal my feelings. So, I said yes to spend some more time with him. Did I do right?” Amelia asked.
Brina smiled. So, Louis cooperated with her in playing matchmaker.
It’s good that he advised Daniel.
“You did the right thing, Amelia. I am happy for you both and I do really have high hopes that it will become a mutual love so soon. But, when will Daniel have time to meet you? We are going away tomorrow right” Brina asked.
“Hehe. Daniel said he will come with me.
Actually, Ethan said he would stay in the Kingdom for a few more days. So, Daniel would be free and even the King asked him to accompany Edward’ Amelia said, smiling widely.
“Wow! You both are really lucky. I really wish to see the new couple getting added to our gang” Brina laughed happily.
“Seems like luck is really on my side, Brina. Partly, it’s you who really made this happen! Thank you, girl. You are really a friend who is highly nee-ded in one’s life” Amelia said, laughing delightfully.
Immediately, Brina felt nostalgic.
She couldn’t help but remember her best friend from her college. These words made her remember her best friend who was really close to her.
Meanwhile, Louis and others arrived at the same time.
When Louis saw the happy Amelia and Brina, he right away realized what might have happened.
He smiled. At last, Daniel is going to say goodbye to his singlehood.
‘Phew! He will not disturb me during night times. I can happily do my business after my marriage, without any interruptions’ Louis thought.
Now, the only person who would dare to disturb him is his little sister Eliina. But, she will be going back to Alpha Academy after this holiday. So, no disturbance… hahahaha. (Devilish laugh)
Meanwhile, Amelia blus-hed profusely as she saw Daniel who was almost on the same page as her. They mostly avoided looking into eachother eyes.
Soon after the pleasantries, the boys went into the kitchen to cook while the girls continued their chatting.
After a long day, Natalie felt relieved. It has been really tough on her from the day she came here.
Although she wanted to go back as soon as possible, she agreed to stay back just because Ethan told her that he has some plans which might indirectly help Brina to pluck out Olivia.
For Natalie, Brina is like a sister more than a friend. Their bond goes beyond the closeness of a friend’s. And, she is willing to do anything that could help Brina right now.
“Charlotte, when is brother Calvin coming back?” Brina asked Charlotte.
Charlotte pursed her li-ps. “I don’t know. To be honest, I haven’t talked to him since the day he left the Kingdom. It is the protocol to not make a phone call unless it is very important.” she said.
“I hope he is fine. I heard things are worse near the borders of the kingdom. Rebellion is at high peaks and riots are taking a serious shape recently. According to my dad, things might get intense by the next month” Charlotte told her, pursing her li-ps.
Brina patted Charlotte’s shoulder. “Don’t worry, Char. Calvin is capable enough to protect himself and control the condition there” Brina comforted her friend.
“Yep, sister Char. Don’t worry! I overheard my dad talking to Calvin’s brother a few days back. He is fine and he is just taking precautions by not calling any of us” Eliina said, as-suring Charlotte.
Charlotte nodded her head, slightly relieved.
However, Brina was the only one who saw the change in Eliina’s emotions. Though Eliina tried her best to hide them, it didn’t go unnoticed by Brina.
‘Something is wrong with Calvin’ she thought inside. ‘Or, it could be Eliina is lying’
“By the way, sister in law, what happened to our tracking?” Eliina asked, skilfully diverting the topic. However, it just intensified Brina’s suspicion.
Brina smiled, hiding all her suspicions with that smile, she said, “No progress, Elle. And, I am going to give you full access to the information. When you are free, you can work on it if you are willing”
Eliina nodded her head in a servile manner. “Of course, I will! I am one of the people waiting to see Olivia’s end so, of course I will gladly accept that opportunity” she enthusiastically answered.
“I will grant permission tonight. So that you can access everything” Brina said.
Later, everyone settled down for dinner.
After that, no one talked about anything related to this. They decided to enjoy this gathering to the best as the next and serious phase will start from tomorrow.
Everyone has their own roles and responsibilities right now.
All these ten people would be facing different complications which carry heavy consequences if they take a wrong step.
