EPISODE 11
Academy is nothing like a normal school of contemporary days. Not even some of the best schools could come for comparison.
Alpha Academy is a big, hu-ge castle. A group of castles situated in the same place, to be more precise.
As this Academy is built by many Kingdom’s together, it is indeed very majestic and aesthetic.
Meanwhile, as soon as their cars stopped at the hu-ge entrance, the own guards of the Academy followed the protocols.
They are as professional as the Royal guards and they don’t follow anyone’s orders except their Governor and Governess. And, for them it really doesn’t matter if the other person is King or Queen or anyone from the Royal family.
For them, everyone is equal. And, everyone had to follow the same rules.
After pas-sing the security tests, everyone enters the imperial building.
In simple terms, it’s the administration building where the hall of fame and the official chambers of all the professor’s are present.
“Welcome, Prince Edward. I am Lady Sarah, the secretary of the hospitality section of the academy.” she introduced herself, politely.
“Sorry for inconvenience, Prince Edward. The Governor and Governess are in an important meeting and they will be here in a short while. So, please make yourselves comfortable” the secretary said, as she slightly bowed.
She politely smiled at others and bowed her head in respect, for which, others bowed at her and smiled back.
“Thank you, Lady Sarah. It’s totally fine! We will wait patiently. And, till the Governor and Governess arrive, we all will be visiting the hall of fame” Louis told her.
He is excited to flaunt about his accomplishments in front of his baby girl.
He wants to show her how good and genius he was as a student.
“Sure. We will make arrangements” the secretary answered and she immediately ordered her subordinates to as-sist them.
Though the academy doesn’t encourage biasedness, these people are the guests of the academy now.
It’s very rare that the Governor and Governess allow these events to take place in the Academy.
This might be a favor or else, it could be that this is the vacation time and the Academy is not too crowded, they agreed.
After a few minutes, everyone found themselves in the hall of fame.
The hall is too hu-ge and the ceiling is in dome shape, made of a glas-s and marbles. Inside the hall, there are many showcases in which the trophies, shields, medals and other awards are secured.
Each of it is labelled with the year name and including it, the names of the winners are also engraved on the tiny gold plate which were placed at the awards.
Brina just looked around, searching for Louis’s study years. She wanted to know how many of those awards are achieved by her dear boyfriend.
Meanwhile, Charlotte approached her and pulled her to one of the showcases.
“You can’t find Edward’s name here. Didn’t I say that students don’t use their real names here?” She whispered to Brina.
It’s a rule here that no one has to use their real names. They shouldn’t reveal their identity as it would cause splits among the students, affecting the unity of them.
“So, what’s his name?” Hailey, who was following them asked.
“Well! It’s Edlen. ‘Ed’ from Edward and ‘L’ from Louis.” she whispered.
As they reached the showcase, Charlotte showed them. “Here, he is!!” she excitedly showed.
The showcase is a very special one where the custom name tag batches are kept. They are gold-plated, batches on which the names are engraved.
“These are the batches, the King and Queen (Best male and female students of the year) of the academy. After they get selected, they have to attach these batches to their robes.And, at the end of the year, they have to give it back so that it can be showcased here” Charlotte said.
“As faces cannot be revealed and people can’t identify the others, their name and their ranks amongst the students will be engraved in this batch. And, students must wear it. In simple terms it’s an ID card. At the end of year, everyone gives them back but only the batches of King and Queen will be displayed in this special showcase” Charlotte ended her explanation.
20XX – Ivia, the Queen. Edlen, the King
“Ivia is Olivia. The last four alphabets of her name. Edlen is Edward” Charlotte whispered pointing to a pair of batches.
20XX – Beatrice, the Queen. Edlen, the King.
“Here. This is the second year Edward got selected as King” Charlotte said.
“Uhmm, who is Beatrice?” Hailey asked.
“She is an angel!”
“She is a bitc-h!”
At the same time two people spoke, making Brina and others look around.
The first one is Katherine while the latter is Olivia.
“Olivia, mind your words. Don’t you dare to speak ill of my best friend” Katherine shouted. For the first time ever, Katherine lost her cool self.
“Oh! So that bitc-h’s friend is you! I used to think always, who could be that tail always following the bitc-h. So, it’s you. That Athena is Katherine” Olivia laughed, full of mockery.
Katherine gritted her teeth. “You are just jealous of her, Olivia! Beatrice is a way more accomplished than you and she got selected as Alpha’s Queen, two times consecutively.
Besides this, she was a favorite student of all your favorite professor’s and had also won many competitions, events. Unlike you, she had many followers and admirers” Katherine smi-rked.
“Or..or, are you jealous that even Prince Edward used to like her and admire her?” Katherine asked, smiling as she pridefully raised her eyebrows.
Olivia gritted her teeth.
“Who would be jealous of that mere commoner? It really doesn’t matter who was best, cuz, at the end of the day I am the person who is standing here. Basking in this glory. Not her!!” Olivia chuckled mockingly.
“She just vanished without any notice. She just ran away like a coward” Olivia laughed, for which Katherine yanked at Olivia’s collar.
“She isn’t any coward. And, who said she vanished, huh? I met her a few days back and she is in a higher position than any of us. The wealthy, powerful person” Katherine said, gritting her teeth.
“What’s happening here? Why are you both fighting like some immature kids??” Prime minister, Sir Francis chided them.
“Manners Ladies. Don’t forget where we are” Queen mother Greta scolded them. “What will people think of our Kingdom if they see you like this? Don’t dare to embarras-s us like this!” she gritted her teeth.
And, it is only when Katherine let Olivia go. She scoffed and walked away from Olivia to where Rebecca is waiting for her.
Meanwhile, Olivia shook her head in disdain. “Some people never change” she muttered un-der her breath before going back to her own gang.
At the same time, the cultural minister hastily walked into the hall.
“Your highness, Sir Francis, Governess arrived and she is waiting in her office. However, the Governor is still busy and he announced that he would be meeting the ladies in the evening.”
“However, the Governess seeks an individual audience with all the ladies immediately” he informed.
Queen mother and Sir Francis nodded their heads. As they are in Academy right now, the Governess and Governor holds the power here.
Everyone must follow their orders no matter who they are. Same goes to the King’s, Queen’s, Prince’s and all others from Royal families.
“Prince Edward and all the eight ladies have to go right now. Rest of you can stay
here” Queen mother Greta said.
“Your rooms will be allotted by evening and it might take some time. So, please feel free to use the guest rooms down the corridor.” Prime minister Sir Francis said to others.
Everyone nodded their heads.
The eight ladies and Louis followed cultural minister Sir Martin to outside while others continued their work. Few of them remained in the hall of fame as they looked around. Meanwhile others went to guest rooms to take some rest.

Charlotte and Hailey stayed behind as they walked around the hall, looking at different medals and trophies.
“Such a mind-blowing fight it was! And, it felt so satisfying to watch. For the first time I saw that inferiority feeling in Olivia’s eyes. And, this is also the very first time I saw Katherine losing her cool self. She seems very protective of her friend!” Hailey exclaimed in a hushed voice.
“Yeah. Even I was shocked, Hailey. Katherine never gets into a fight. Especially not verbally. She always stays calm and play her games by staying in shadow’s”
“And, to be frank, I never thought that Katherine is a friend of infamous Beatrice. No wonder Katherine never revealed her Academy’s name.” Charlotte chuckled.
“So, Katherine is Athena!” she sighed to herself.
After a few seconds, she spoke again.
“Ahh… now I un-derstand where Katherine learned to play with others minds. It’s because she learned from the best!!” Charlotte exclaimed.
“Was Beatrice like that? I heard from brother Calvin that Katherine is a silent killer. She always stays calm but no one knows what will be going in her mind” Hailey said.
If not for Olivia’s dirty scheme’s and her grandfather’s power, Katherine would have won in the previous bride selection event.
“Yes, Beatrice was like that! She was known for her cunning, reckless and very, very stubborn character. She was quite a genius and at the same time she never feared anyone.”
“She was actually pretty scary that most of the students from Royal and Noble families used to fear her” Charlotte told Hailey who was curious looking at her.
“Uhmm…so, this Beatrice is bad?” Hailey asked.
“No. Of course no.” Charlotte chuckled.
“Those were the days when the academy had started recruiting the foreign students and commoners. So, a few Royal’s and noble’s used to try to bully them. And, Beatrice was someone who stood up against those bullies. She used to have many followers and friends back then” Charlotte said.
“And, there is a secret I have to tell you, Hailey” she whispered.
“What is it? My li-ps are sealed, okay? I won’t tell anyone” Hailey whispered back.
“The one Louis ki-ssed is none other than Beatrice” Charlotte said, giggling.
“What??” Hailey almost shouted but composed herself.
“Yep..yep. Beatrice was his first crush. Though it wasn’t any serious crush, it is the first crush he had after all” Charlotte said, giggling.
“Really?? Wow!! Brina has to know this” Hailey giggled back. Her eyes twinkled.
‘Am I the only person who could see the undeniable resemblance between Brina and Beatrice??” she thought.
….
Meanwhile, on the other floor.
Olivia was the first one to be called inside. After ten minutes of her meeting with Governess, she directly went back to the hall from another door.
Soon, others followed her suite.
Princess Penelope, Katherine and everyone was called except Brina.
Brina was the last one and she couldn’t help but get nervous by every pas-sing second.
‘All the best, baby. Hope you impress the Governess. By the way, she is a very important and powerful person here. So, it would be really helpful if she supports you. Don’t stress and don’t worry. You are very good at impressing others.

This is the message that popped up just before Brina was summoned.
And as soon as she read it, all her worries, nervousness vanished in thin air.
With a pleasant smile adorning her li-ps, she took the de-ep breaths before walking inside a hu-ge, clas-sical office.
…..
A woman in her early fifties is sitting on the desk chair across the door. She is wearing a suit and had her specs on. Despite her age, she looked energetic and beautiful.
However, she eluded a stern and powerful aura.
“Lady Brina” she greeted Brina as soon as she noticed Brina at the door, waiting for her permission to enter.
“You may come in,” she said, before going back to looking at the docu-ment on her desk.
Brina walked to the chair across the Governess and sat down. Her fingers fidgeting with each other un-der the table.
“A commoner who managed to stay in the top two. Impressive” the Governess said in an affirmative tone as she looked into the docu-ment.
“And, an employee in S & S corporations. Good!” she said after a few seconds, her eyes still lingering on the docu-ment which is actually Brina’s introductory docu-ment.
“Parents? What do they do?” The Governess asked, all of a sudden.
“They are dead. They were just common people” Brina replied.
“Hmm. I see” the Governess replied, as she lifted her head and looked at Brina.
“Siblings?” she asked.
“Dead” Brina replied.
“So, what’s your reason to come here? A favor to a friend? Or, were you craving for a large family?” She asked.
“None of these. I came here for a reason.” Brina answered.
“Really, Sabrina??” the Governess chuckled.
“An employee? In your own company?” she laughed.
