EPISODE 10
All these ten people would be facing different complications which carry heavy consequences if they take a wrong step.
It’s basically ten people against a strong, powerful and mysterious enemy of the kingdom. And, the picture they are aware of is just a drop of ocean of the whole big picture.
“And, Brina, we are taking a diversion due to climate change. It has to be a one hour flight journey and two hours of ship journey to the academy. But, due to a cyclone we will be taking another route.” Louis said, after everyone went back.
He is helping Brina to pack up her luggage so that they can go to bed together.
Louis is extremely sad because he doesn’t really know if they would get to sleep together during their stay in Alpha Academy.
Brina is no different. She is already feeling lovesick. Her heart is all heavy with unfathomable pain and anxiety.
“Really? A diversion?” Brina asked, controlling the surging sadness in her tone.
She will really miss Louis!!
“We will be stopping at Kingdom Ventris. We rerouted the plane to one of the border cities of Kingdom Ventris. From there we will be going by road. It will actually lessen our journey time by an hour” Louis answered her as he zi-pped her last bag and placed it next to the main door.
“Oh! If it is the shortest route, why did we select a longer route before?” Brina asked. Her voice still grave with sadness.
This time it is obvious for Louis that she is controlling her tears. It’s the power of love! It can make even the strongest person to cry like a baby.
Louis walked to her and hu-gged her to his che-st as he placed his chin on her forehead. “It’s because our connections with the Kingdom Ventris is not really great. It is not too bad nor too good. It’s equivocal to judge. We can’t really say they are our enemies but at the same time they are not our allies like Kingdom Sophene. And, they aren’t neutral like Kingdom Myraina too” he explained.
“Oh. So, we have to be careful during our journey right?” Brina questioned.
“Not really. They won’t play cheap tricks. Their King and Queen are people of high regard to do such kinds of things” Louis said.
Brina nodded her head but buried her head in his che-st. “I don’t want to go,” she said, her voice almost like a child’s.
“Where? To Alpha Academy?” Louis asked as he worriedly looked into her eyes.
He could see how reluctant she was. It’s very obvious she doesn’t want to go.
But, Brina is more than aware that she must go.
Brina nodded her head. “We won’t be getting to meet. It’s almost like we are stranger’s. I can’t take that, Louis. I want you” she said.
Louis laughed and gently flic-ked her forehead. “Silly girl! No one will stop me from meeting my baby. Don’t worry” he chuckled softly.
Brina pouted but nodded her head and allowed Louis to tug themselves in bed.
“Good night, love” he said, pecking her forehead.
“Good night, Prince Edward” Brina said, amusing Louis.
“Why did you call me like that?” he asked.
“I just felt like it. Moreover, I have to get accustomed to call you like that, anyway” she answered, her eyes closed.
Louis didn’t probe her any further. Though he was curious what the reason was, he knows that his baby girl nee-ds as much rest as possible.
…..
The next day…
Brina and Louis woke up early. Not because they had to leave but because they wanted to spend more time with each other.
Though their eyelashes are hooding close, they just wanted to stay awake. This short time is very precious for them because it could possibly be the last time they might share a room for a time being.
So, they decided to cherish it.
Cuddled on the sofa, they just continued staring at the breathtaking sunrise.
It was too beautiful and bright just like their never ending love.
Just like how they are always desperate to meet each other, in the same way, the sun always waits to meet the sky. There are times when they had to part away for their own good, before reuniting.
Later, the lovesick took a bath together and prepared a simple breakfast. And, they couldn’t help but feed each other in longingness.
Though they haven’t parted away yet, they are already missing each other.
“It’s time, babygirl. I nee-d to leave for my suite, to bid my farewell to my parents .” Louis said, caressing her hair.
Brina nodded her head. Looking into his eyes, she hu-gged him ti-ghtly and ki-ssed him on his li-ps.
Louis of course de-epened it. This could be the most emotional and pas-sionate ki-ss they have ever shared in this time being.
They didn’t pull away till their faces flushed red and their lungs screamed for oxygen.
Their tongues danced with each other while they desperately explored each other. Their bodies are stuck to each other, so reluctant to part away.
Yet, they had to. What could be more torture than this? You could see your lover in front of you all the time but couldn’t hu-g or ki-ss. They have to act like strangers!!
Louis leaned his forehead against her forehead and closed his eyes. “I will search for a way to meet you everyday, okay? Don’t feel sad about it anymore” he said.
Brina nodded her head. “I know, and I will be waiting for you” , she said, parting away.
“Now, go away before I change my mind and lock both of us here” Brina joked, pushing him away.
….
After a few hours,
All the eight ladies, Louis, Daniel, Eliina, Queen mother Greta, Prime minister, Sir Francis, Cultural minister, Sir Martin boarded the private jets.
Along with them, their friends joined them too.
Louis, Eliina, Daniel, Greta, Martin, Olivia, Brina, Katherine, Amelia and Princess Penelope are present in one of the planes while the remaining are in another one.
“Prince Edward, do you remember our time in academy? We were selected as Academy’s King and Queen” Olivia said, intentionally trying to make others jealous
She was one of the best students during her time in the Academy and so was Louis.
Amongst all the ladies here, she is the only one with that accomplishment.
So, of course she wants to flaunt!!
Meanwhile, Louis frowned inside.
Yeah, he remembers!!
In fact, those were the worst days of his life! Always getting pestered by this bitc-h!!
“I don’t keep the unnecessary memories with me, Lady Olivia. My time in Alpha Academy was not so good to remember” Louis briefly answered before pretending to get busy looking at his mobile screen.
Olivia gritted her teeth.
In all the three years she stayed, she got selected as best student (Queen) only once. So, she just br@gged about it.
However, it just got backfired.
Meanwhile, Brina stayed calm. Strangely, she is anxious and nervous. And, for the first time it is visible on her face.
However, everyone thought that it is very usual to be nervous.
Especially her.
They had been to the academy at least once. But, for her, this is the first time! Everyone would be nervous if it’s their first time. Alpha Academy has that much impact!
After a while, their Jet landed in the Kingdom Ventris. This city is one of the border cities of the Kingdom, but it’s very developed and modern just like every other city in Ventris.
And, as soon as Brina alighted from the jet, she shivered. Unlike the warm and modest climate of Kingdom Aletros, this Kingdom is freakingly cold.
This Kingdom is known for its beautiful snowfall. There are times when the lakes freeze too!
However, it’s simply too beautiful. The pristine white snow envelopes the ground, greenish and orange color trees. The whole place would transform into a beautiful scene with Green, orange and white colors everywhere.
While the half of the Kingdom is more inclined to be cold and snowy, the other half of it is moderately cold. Now, they are in the latter part but it was already cold enough to shiver.
As soon as everyone alighted, they all started to shiver. One by one, they fished out their wool and leather jackets to save themselves from the cold.
Meanwhile, Brina got a text message.
‘I placed your jacket in your handbag. Wear it. I don’t want you to catch cold♥️
Your caretaker’
Brina smiled as she had read it.
She instantly knows that this caretaker is her Louis.
He is really considering and incredibly caring!
With a warm smile adorning her face, Brina wore the jacket and looked at Louis discreetly, who just smiled at her.
As everyone is busy with one or other work, they didn’t notice this tiny conversation. Only Edward’s uncle, Francis did.
But he already knows everything about this couple. This is not the first time he got fed with dog food, anyway.
Later, everyone went inside the airport and met the remaining people.
“Ahh! This place is too cold. But beautiful” Hailey said when she looked around.
The airport is so majestic and modern.
The architecture of it is simply breathtaking! Meanwhile, the cold breeze, the peaceful and bluish sky entranced her
“You didn’t see the capital of the Kingdom, dear. It’s on the other side of the country where you could see frozen lakes, snowflakes, orange color trees and of course skyscra-pers.
I heard their Royal Palace is like a paradise” Charlotte giggled.
“So, will we get to go there?” Hailey innocently asked.
Charlotte shook her head. “Unfortunately, both the Kingdoms are not in good terms,” she answered.
Meanwhile, like always, Brina stayed quiet.
She looked around. However, most of her attention fixed on Olivia and her squad. As they are out of the kingdom, right now, Olivia’s grandfather might be more powerful than before.
So, it’s always wise to be cautious.
However, Olivia seems pretty shaken up after her encounter. It seems like she is still facing the after effects of her phobia!
Anyway, it’s for my own good.
After a short while, all of them reached the Royal entrance.
By that time, the Royal guards of both Kingdom Aletros and Kingdom Ventris are already standing there, waiting for them.
As soon as they saw Louis and prime minister Francis, they bowed.
And, after that, a man came to receive them.
He is in his mid twenties. Almost
From his formidable, unique aura and the way he dressed elegantly, it is too obvious for everyone that he is from the Royal family.
Silverish, platinum hair, bluish eyes, he is so striking and princely.
“Prince Griffin” Louis shook his hand, as he greeted him.
“We are honoured with your presence here, Prince Edward” Prince Griffin said, smiling.
“And, we would be honoured if you join us for a tea”
“Thanks for your hospitality, Prince Griffin, but we have to go. It’s already late” Louis politely declined.
“Of course! Of course. Please” he said, smiling. “We were suddenly intimated yesterday evening about your arrival.
Otherwise, Royal family would have been here to invite you all” he added,
“So, is he not the Crowned Prince?” Hailey whispered to Charlotte.
“No, he isn’t. He is the cousin of the Crown Prince. I guess the Crown Prince is busy. My brother Calvin said that this crown Prince is always busy. Charlotte whispered back, sharing the gossip.
“Hehe. However, he is handsome” Hailey giggled.
“Griffin is already married, Hailey. And, yep, men here are s-×y” Charlotte winked, for which Brina looked at her with amusement. ‘Don’t you always say girls are more s-×y?’ it was what Brina’s eyes were asking her.
Charlotte coughed, clearing her throat.
“Women here are even more s-×y and beautiful. Mostly the ones from the Royal family and Noble families” she said, slightly blus-hing.
“Why did you just blus-h?” Hailey asked.
“Ahh… nothing. Nothing at all” she told her, covering her face.
….
After another half an hour, they reached the Alpha Academy’s premises.
“Ahhhhh!!!!!! Beautiful!! Magnificent!! Truly regal!!!” Hailey squealed in awe.
She eagerly pushed her head out of the window to look at the Academy’s entrance.
Academy is nothing like a normal school of contemporary days. Not even some of the best schools could come for comparison.
