Amaya’s pov
A MONTH LATER
I stayed beside Kylan holding his hand as I
watched him breath slowly.He’s alive,yes he is
but he’s in a coma for a month now.The doctor
said there’s there’s sixty percent that he can
survive the incident.And since then,all I’ve been
doing was praying likewise his brothers.They
don’t really have time to visit him but they
usually call me to ask about his well-being.They
also know that the both of us are dating.At first
that were mad but they later accepted it
because they said I was the only one that can
bring Kylan back.I stood up and took a towel
beside me as I walked to the toilet.I dipped the
water into a bowl of water and sque-ezed it as I
went out of the toilet to meet no one on the bed
“Kylan?”.I called as I stared at the bed in
confusion
“He..was..here..before…I ..left..him..and…”
“Boom”.I heard someone shout as I jumped in
shock
“Who the hell was…”.I yelled as I turned sharply
to see K..Kylan
“Kylan”.I screamed as I ran to him and jumped
on him
“Did you miss me?”.He asked as I hu-gged him
“More than that”.I said as he hu-gged me back
“Are you feeling better now?”.I asked as I got off
him
“No but now that I’ve seen you,I’m feeling a lot
better”.He said as I smiled
“That’s good to hear.Gosh,I’ve really missed
you”.I said as I hu-gged him
“Same here”.He said as I heard someone cough.I
moved away from him as we turned to see Dylan
and Ryan
“I can see you are awake buddy and you look a
lot better than I thought”.Dylan said as he came
to hu-g Kylan
“Hi”.I said waving to Ryan as he returned the
wave
“Thank you”.Dylan said to me as Ryan hu-gged
Kylan
“For what?”.I asked
“Taking care of our brother”.He said as I smiled
“You’re welcome”.I said as he hu-gged me
“Hey”.Kylan shouted as he dragged me away
from Dylan
“What?”.Dylan asked
“erm,you can’t hu-g a lady like that.She’s not
your girlfriend”.He said as I chuckled silently
“But she’s not your girl”.Dylan said
“I know but..”
“We know you guys are dating”.Ryan said as he
looked at me and I nodded my head
“Really?.And you guys are cool with it”.Kylan
asked facing his brothers
“Yeah.we are cool with it”.Dylan said
“Thanks”.I said as I put my hand around Maya’s
ne-ck and dragged her closer to me
“We’ll go inform the doctor that you are
awake”.Dylan said as they both went out of the
ward
“Thank you Maya”.Kylan said as I turned to look
at him
“You don’t have to mention.What are couples
for”.I said as he laughed
“What about Blair.where is she”.Kylan asked as
he sat on his bed and made me sit on his lap
“Well she’s was involved in a car accident.Br@d
said her car was found in a river but they
couldn’t find her body.We don’t know whether
her body has drowned or she’s alive.And if
eventually she is alive she has a lot of answers
to answer to my questions because she might
know who’s behind everything happening to
me”.I said
“You mean Blair.I don’t think she can hurt a
chicken talk less of saying a human.I don’t think
she knows about what’s going on in your
family.She’s only clouded my anger,that’s why
she reacted that way”.Kylan said
“I hope my suspicions are wrong because if I
find out she’s behind all this,she’s really gonna
get it from me”.I said in anger
“That’s if she’s alive”
“Yes”.I said ad he smiled
“Why are you smiling?”.I asked
“It’s good to see you again after all this days”.He
said
“Days?,you’ve been gone for a month now”.I said
“A month?”.He asked surprised
“Yes”.I replied
“How did you survive without me for a
month?”.He asked
“I survived because I slept here for a month.I
couldn’t leave you and go anywhere”.I said
“That’s my girl”.He said as he ruffled my hair
“Hey.I don’t joke with my hair”.I said hitting him
lightly on his arm as he winced in pain
“Ouch”.He said holding his arm in pain
“Oh,I’m sorry.I’m so sorry”.I said standing up
from his lap as his brothers came in
“The doctor said you can go home since you now
better”.Dylan said as Kylan stood up
“Okay.let’s go”.He said as I grabbed our bags
“Maya?”.Kylan called as I turned to him
“Come as-sist me”.He said stretching his arm as I
walked to him and places his hand around my
ne-ck

Kylan’s pov
We got home as I stepped into the house with
aid of Maya and sat on a couch
“Thanks”.I said to Maya as dropped our bag
“You don’t nee-d to mention”.She said
“What should I cook for you?”.Ryan asked
“I miss Maya’s cooking.She can cook for me.Can
you?”.I asked facing Maya
“Sure.What do you want?”.She asked
“Anything”.I replied
“Okay.Be right back”.She said and headed to the
kitchen
“Are you okay bro?”.Dylan asked as he sat
beside me
“Yeah.Thanks”.I said
“You are welcome.The doctor said you should
have a lot of rest and foods.so go to your room
now and Maya will bring your food when she’s
done”.He said
“Yes boss”.I teased as I stood
“Make sure you get a lot of rest okay”.He
shouted after me
“Yes boss”.I shouted back as I went into my
room.
After some minutes,I heard a knock on my door
“Come in”.I said as Maya came in with a tray on
her hand
“I brou-ght your food”.She said as she placed the
tray on the table
“Feed me”.I said
“Why?”.She asked
“Because you caused all this.I surrendered my
life to save you”.I said
“Well I didn’t say you should”.She mumbled
“What did you say?”.I asked
“Oh,nothing.Let me feed my loving
boyfriend”.She said as she sat beside me
“Yeah.Loving boyfriend,I love that”.I said
“Open up”.She said as I opened opened my
month.She inse-rted a spoon of fried rice into my
my mouth and I chewed it
“I’m full”.I said to Maya after some spoonfuls of
fried rice
“Water?”.She asked raising a glas-s of water
“Sure”.I said as I collected it and drank it
“Please stay with me”.I said to Maya as she was
about to leave my room.She stopped on her track
and turned to me
“Why,what’s the problem.Are you feeling
sick?”.She asked as she came to touch my
forehead,dropping the tray
“Yes.I think I’m gonna be sick.Please stay with
me”.I said as I held her hand
“Okay.Just lay down and get some rest”.She
said as she laid me flat on the bed.I tapped
beside me and she shot me a’what’look
“Come stay beside me”.I said and dragged her
beside me before she can say anything
“Kylan”.She called as I chuckled,hu-gging her
ti-ght
“If you do stay with me,I’m not gonna be sick
anymore”.I said
“Promise?”
“Promise if you stay with me like this everyday”.I
said but she didn’t reply
“Are you asleep?”.I asked but didn’t get a reply.I
turned her to me and her eyes were closed
Is she sleeping?
I pec-ked her li-ps and her eyes but she didn’t
open her eyes
I guess she’s really tired from taking care of me
when I was in coma
“Sleep ti-ght”.I mumbled as I pec-ked her hair and
closed my eyes to sleep

Blair’s pov
I slowly walked out of my room,holding my
injured arm as I walked down the stairs
“Oh dear,what are you doing down here.You
should have called me if you nee-d anything”.My
mom said as I scoffed
“Like I care”.I said
“Blair”.She called as she tou-ched my arm and I
je-rked I back
“Don’t…touch…me”.I said in anger as she moved
back in fear
“I’m sorry dear.I’m just worried about you”.she
said in a shaky voice
“Worried my foot.Go to hell”.I yelled
“I am mother Blair.You can’t just say those
things to me anyhow.You must learn how to
respect me”.She said as I scoffed
“Mom?,respect?,you don’t deserve all those
because you are just a worthless hi man being”.I
yelled at her face as she landed a slap across
my face
“Don’t you dare utter those words to me…”.She
said as I took a glas-s cu-p beside me and
smashed it on her head
“Go to hell”.I said as I walked out of the house
leaving my dead mom behind
I came across my boss in an uncompleted
building as i walked up to him
“Why did you attempt to kill Maya?”.My boss
asked
“I’m sorry boss.I got carried away”.I pleaded
with my eyes focusing on the floor
“You’re sorry?.What if you’ve succeeded in killing
her,What will happen to my plans?”.He yelled
“Sorry boss”.I pleaded as he grabbed the back of
my head and brou-ght my head closer to his as I
winced in pain
“Don’t you ever,ever try that okay”.He said as I
nodded my head in pain
“Good,now get lost and be at alert because I’ve
got another job for you”.He said
“Yes boss”.I said as he smi-rked
