Amaya’s pov
Gosh!!,I’m extremely blus-hing right now.I can’t
help but blus-h really ha-rd.I’m now Kylan’s
girlfriend.Wow
“Why are you blus-hing?”.I heard a voice and
looked up to see Mr Cole
“Huh,me?,blus-hing?,why would I?”.I asked
nervously
“I don’t know.That’s why I asked you”.He said
“I’m not blus-hing.And before I forget,I’m not
quitting anymore”.I said
“Really?”.He asked
“Yes.I’ll be going now”.I said and walked to my
room.I closed the door behind me as I slumped
on my bed and used a pillow to cover my face
Kylan,Kylan,Kylan.I’m so inlove with him
I got down from my bed and went into my
bathroom thinking about Kylan.My mind can’t
just stop thinking about him.I remembered when
I pec-ked him in his cheek and I chuckled
“That was embarras-sing”.I said as I went out of
the bathroom.I heard a knock on my door and
opened it to see Kylan
“What are you doing here?”.I whispered as he
entered my room and closed the door
“I’ve missed you.I’ve missed your face”.He said
as I chuckled
“But we just met like five minutes ago”.I said
“Yes.But I’ve missed you”.He said as he pinned
me to the door.He brou-ght his head closer to
mine and was about to land his li-ps on mine
when I heard a knock on my door
Goodness,who’s that.Who dare interrupt us
“Are you expecting someone?”.Kylan whispered
to me as I shaked my head
“No.Go hide somewhere”.I whispered to him as
he ran to my bathroom.I chuckled silently and
turned to open the door
“Miyah.What are you doing here?”.I asked as I
saw Miyah
“I just wanted to check on you”.She replied
“Aww,that’s so nice of you Kiddo”.I said and
ruffled her hair
“I’ll get going now.I wanna go do my home
work”.She said
“Okay.I’ll come check it later”.I said as she
walked away.I closed the door and Kylan came
out of my bathroom
“Why was she here?”.He asked
“She just came to check on me.She’s a nice
Kiddo”.I said
“Yeah.just like her big bro” He said
“Oh,you mean Dylan”.I said as he came closer to
me and pinned me to the wall
“You do know who that is”.He said
“No I don’t”.I said
“Really?”.He asked
“Yes”.I replied
“Okay.let’s get down to business”.He said
“Which business?”.I asked
“The uncompleted job”.He said smiling
“Which job?”.I asked
“Stop it”.He said
“Stop what?”.I asked
“Maya”.He called
“What?”.I asked as he carried me in his arms and
placed me on my bed
“What are you doing Kylan?”.I asked
“You’ll see”.He said and laid beside me.He
stretched his hand towards my head as I lifted
my head and place it on his arm
“Do you really love me”.He asked
“I don’t know”.I replied
“I’m serious”.He said
“Yes I do love you”.I replied looking into his eyes
“Why couldn’t you see that I love you earlier”.He
asked
“I did saw it but didn’t wanna accept the fact
because I think guys like you that are always
famous are always a je-rk”.I said
“Maya.I’m not like them.All guys are not the
same.I’ll never leave you or break you heart”.He
said
“I know.You’ve showed me you can never do
that and that’s why I love you more”.I said as he
ki-ssed me and I responded to the ki-ss
“Thank you”.He said as we disengaged
“For what?”.I asked
“For loving me back”.He said as I smiled
“You’re welcome”.I said as I heard my phone
buzz.I picked it from my table and clic-ked on the
message
“How does it feel to be an orphan”.It read as I
sat straight immediately
“What’s wrong”.Kylan asked as he also sat
straight and I showed him the message
“Try calling the number”.He told me as I dialled
the number
“Hello?’.I said over the phone
“How does it feel”.The person said
“Who are you?”.I yelled over the phone
“How dare you kill her.You are gonna pay for
what you did”.I yelled as the person laughed
“I’m gonna pay?,do you know me?”.The person
asked
“I don’t but I’m gonna get you.I swear I’m gonna
get you and get revenge for my parents”.I yelled
“Ooh,I’m scared.Yeah,okay.I’ll be looking forward
to that day”.The person said and hung up before
I could say anything
“That je-rk.I’m sure gonna get the person”.I said
in anger as Kylan placed his hand on my
shoulder

Kylan’s pov
I placed my hand on Maya’s shoulder as she
turned her head to me
“What was that about?”.I asked
“I..I don’t know.The person that sent that
message killed my parents and I don’t know who
that person is but if I eventually know the
person,the person is gonna end up in jail”.She
said in anger
“Hey,come down girl.yeah,the person is sure
gonna end up in jail.Who do you suspect?”.I
asked
“I don’t know.My family don’t have enemies.We
are all easy going”.She said
“Really,you are easy going?”.I asked as I
chuckled
“Not funny Kylan”.She said
“Sorry”.I said as I got down from her bed
“I’ll investigate on your case.I’ve got some guys
who can take care of things like this.don’t
worry,I’ll get to the bott-om of this”.I said placing
my hands on her shoulders
“Thank you”.She said as she ru-bbed my hand
“I’ll get going now”.I said as I stood straight
“Okay”.She said and I gave her a quick hu-g
before I left her room
I nee-d to know who that person is.I nee-d to get
to the bott-om of this.I must fight for Maya and
her family
I dialled my friends number and he picked it at
the first ring
“Hello my man”.Br@d(my friend)said over the
phone
“Hi [email protected] nee-d you to help me with something.I
nee-d you to investigate something for me”.I said
over the phone
“What is it?”.He asked
“Please come over to my house.we nee-d to
discuss it one on one”.I said
“Okay man,be there is an hour”.He said
“Thanks man,I’ll be expecting you”.I said and
hung up

“Great job.Take your money”.I said throwing
some money to her
“T..thank you sir but sir..”
“What?”.I snarled as she flinched in fear
“Sir,don’t you think they’ll be after us.I’m
scared”.She said as I scoffed
“Why would you be scared.You’ve done the job
and nothing went wrong.You killed her without
anybody noticing”.I said
“K..kill..killed her?,sir,you were the one who sent
me to kill her”.She said
“Was I the one who stabbed her?”.I asked
“N..no Sir”.She replied
“Who stabbed her?”.I asked
“I did”.She replied
“Then who killed her”.I asked but she didn’t reply
“This is a secret between the both of us.If you
dare betray me by saying this to someone
else,you are a gone”.I said
“I would never betray you sir”.She said
“Good.Now get out of this place”.I said as she
scurried out of the building
This is just the beginning Maya.You are gonna
pay for what your family did to me

Amaya’s pov
I walked out of my room and went downstairs as
I saw Kylan and a guy discussing.Kylan sighted
me and stood up
“Oh Maya,come over here”.He said signalling me
to come to him as I walked up to him
“Who’s he?”.I asked facing the guy
“He’s my friend.He’s gonna be investigating
about your case.I’ve explained everything to
him”.Kylan said
“Oh,hi”.I said to him
“Hi.I’m Br@d”.He said as he offered him hand to
me
“And I’m Amaya,Maya for short”.I said accepting
his hand
“Kylan has told me about everything and I as-sure
you that I’ll find the person”.He said as he
released my hand
“Thank you.Please make sure you find the
person”.I said
“Sure”.He said as Kylan put his hand around my
ne-ck
“You don’t have to worry Maya.Br@d his really
good at his job.He’s gonna catch the
culprit”.Kylan said and I smiled
“And yes.Maya is my girlfriend”.Kylan said to
Br@d as I blus-hed slightly
“Oh,okay.Nice meeting you.I’ll go ahead now”.He
said
“Okay.Thanks man”.Kylan said as they both
shook hands
“Don’t mention man.Bye Maya”.Br@d said
“Bye”.I said waving my hand as he left the house
I hope he finds the culprit
“You don’t have to worry Maya”.Kylan said
jolting me out of my thought
“I can’t help it.We nee-d to find that person”.I
said as he placed his hand on my shoulder
“We are gonna find the person.You know I don’t
like seeing you like this”.He said
“I’m sorry”.I said as he smiled
“We are gonna find the person okay”.He said as
I nodded my head
“Okay”.I said and he pulled me into a hu-g

Blair’s pov
I scurried out of the building as I heaved a sign
of relieve
I hope I don’t get into trouble for doing this
I got into my car and started the ignition as I
drove away.I became suspicious as I noticed a
car trailling behind me
Who could that be
I adjusted my mirror to get a better view but I
can’t recognize the person in the car.I turned to
a corner and looked back to see the person still
following me.I got a little scared as I increa-sed
the speed of the car but later lost him
“Thank goodness”.I said as I drove to Kylan’s
house
Maya nee-ds to be dealt with.If I don’t kill her
now,the truth will be revealed and I don’t ever
wanna go to jail.
I got to Kylan’s house as I halted my car and hid
a gun behind me back pocket
“I nee-d to do this.For the sake of dad”.I said as I
stepped into the house.I caught Kylan and Maya
hu-gging as I became angry
“Well,well,well.I can see you guys are enjoying
yourselves”.I said as they both disengaged and
looked at me
“What do you want Blair?”.Kylan asked
“Your girlfriend”.I replied
“Why?”.The maid asked
“Just a little girl to girl talk.it won’t take a
minute.I promise”.I said
“Never.I would never ever allow you talk to
her”.Kylan said as I chuckled
“Come on Kylan.You are not the person I wanna
talk to”.I said
“I don’t have anything to discuss with you.Please
leave”.The maid said
“Oh we do”.I said as I brou-ght out the gun from
my back pocket and they both gasped
“Now do we have something to discuss or not?”.I
asked pointing the gun at her
“W..we d..do”.The maid stuttered as Kylan
stepped in front of her
“No you don’t”.He said
“Are you defending her.Are you going to die for
her?”.I asked
“Yes”.He replied
“Why?”.I asked
“Because she’s my girlfriend”.He replied
“Oh,I can clearly see that.Get out of the way
now”.I said
“No”.He replied
“I guess I’ll have to shoot you”.I said and before
I knew it,he appeared in front of me and held my
hand,trying to collect the gun from me
“Let go Kylan”.I yelled
“No”.He yelled back as he took a vase beside
him.He was about to hit it on my head when my
hand pressed the botton and the bullet went
straight to his stomach.His hand hanged in the
air as he Gr0-ned before falling down and the
vase broke into pieces
“K..Kylan?”.I called
“Kylan”.The maid yelled as she was about run to
him when I pointed the gun at her
“Don’t move near him”.I said as she stopped on
her track
“Y..you’ve killed him”.She said in tears
“Move back”.I said as she moved back
“Grab her”.I heard a guy voice as I turned to see
the guy that has been trailing me and some
guys.I quickly ran to the maid,grabbed her by
her ne-ck and pointed the gun to her head
“Just take one step and this bullet is going into
her head”.I said to the guys as they all stopped
on their track
“Drop the gun”.The guy that trailed me said
“Do you think I’m that stupid.You drop your
gun”.I said as he signalled the remaining to drop
their guns
“Good.Now step aside”.I said as they all moved
away from the doorstep
“Please let me go.I nee-d to see Kylan.He’s
hurt”.The maid cried
“Just shut up”.I snarled
“Yes ma’am”.She said.I walked to the doorstep
slowly with the maid as my shield as the guys
kept moving.I stopping at the doorstep as I
pushed the maid on the floor and ran to my car.
“Go after her”.I heard a guy yelled as I entered
my car
“Shit”.I cursed as I started the car.I drove out of
the house as I increa-sed the speed so as not to
get caught.I looked at my mirror and they were
behind me
“Damn”.I cursed as I added more speed.I kept
looking back,lossing focus on my driving when a
truck headed my way and I quickly turned my
car.I couldn’t handle the steering wheel and I
didn’t know when my car hit a tree and broke
into a bridge
“Dad!!!!”.I screamed as the car landed into a river

Amaya’s pov
Blair pushed me on the floor as she ran away
and Br@d and his guys ran after her
“Kylan?”.I called as I crawled to him
“Kylan”.I said in tears as I raised his head to my
lap placing my hand on his stomach where he
got shot
“Please stay with me Kylan.Please don’t leave
me.I don’t have anyone else.Please”.I cried as
he Gr0-ned in pains
“I..I’m gla..glad I protected y..you and I’m really
happy to know you truly love me”.He said
“D..don’t talk please.Save your energy,you are
gonna survive this okay”.I said as he cleaned my
tears
“Don’t cry okay”.He said as he took my hand
away from his stomach and placed it on his
che-st
“My heart will always beat for you”.He said
“And mine”.I said
“I..I’m cold Maya.please hu-g me”.He said as he
wrapped his hand around my wai-st and I hu-gged
him
Please don’t die Kylan.Please
“Anyone please help”.I yelled as I felt Kylan’s
hand drop on my lap.I stiffened as I looked at his
face
“Kylan”.I called but he didn’t reply
“Kylan!!!,please don’t do this to me.Youcan’t
leave me”.I yelled as Kylan’s brother rushed into
the house
“What happened?”.Dylan asked
“Please take him to the hospital.He must not
die”.I cried as Dylan carried him outside

We got to a hospital as Kylan was rushed into a
ward on a stretcher
“Please save him”.I said as some doctors
entered the ward
SOME MINUTES LATER
A doctor came out of Kylan’s ward as we all
rushed to him
“Doctor,how is he?”.I asked as he looked at us
“I’m sorry”.He said
“Sorry?,sorry for what?”.I asked already scared
“I’m sorry but he was brou-ght in dead”.He said
as I blacked out
