The rich girlfriend episode 29 & 30

The Rich Girlfriend*

*_Chapter 29_&_30*

“It’s a friendly pe-ck”, Chloe said to her.

“I see. If we take this to the bar, will they regard it as a friendly pe-ck?”

“Hanson, I’ll see you later”, she said, walking away.

“Sasha you don’t have to be like that. She’s just being friendly”, Hanson said to her.

“Is that how all your female friends behave around you?”

“Not really but a pe-ck is nothing”.

“Mmm, so I can pe-ck you?”

“Yeah as long as you…”

“Oh yourl-ip?” She said, approaching him.

“Sash, no way”, he said, getting up from his seat.

“Relax. I’m kidding”, she said, laughing and he sat down.

“I don’t like her pe-cking you”, she said, sitting across him.

“Mmm, then I’ll get her to st©p”, he said, grinning.

“Are you sure we should take things slow?” She asked, getting close to him.

“Sasha”, he said, drawing back.

“Why do you keep pu-lling away?”

“I don’t want us to spoil what we have, let’s take this slowly. There’s time to do all this after marriage”.

“Mmm, you’re marrying me?” She asked, snickering.

“It c@m£ out the wrong way”.

“Aww, I’ve never had someone say that to me. No one looks at the long term”, she said, wiggling her brows.

“I’m just saying that if we’re going to do this, marriage should be the goal and it shouldn’t just be a fling or anything of that sort”.

“Okay. I’ll go at your pace”.

“Great. Would you allow me to take you to dinner?” He asked.

“I was wondering when you were going to do that. Honestly if you didn’t ask, I’d have asked”, she said, snickering and he laughed.

“So is that a yes?”

“Of course”, she said, smiling. “Should I wear something S-xy or just casual”.

“Just casual would be fine”, he said and she laughed.

“Well I’ll prefer you come with your ba-re che-st”, she said and he face palmed.

“I’m kidding, I’m kidding. We’re on your pace”.

“Alright. I’ll come and pick you up at 7. Is that fine?”

“Yes Papi”, she said to him.

“Okay. Have a lovely day”, he said, getting up. He hvgged her and then he left.

Sasha went to her office, dancing and her employees were surprised to see her in such a happy mood.

“Sasha I…” Jennifer said, walking in.

“Come dance with me”, she said to her.

“Sasha, uhh are you drun!k?” She asked and Sasha ignored her and continued to dance.

Jennifer left to get her friends to see if everything was alright.

“Sasha. Is everything alright?” Lilian asked, walking in.

“Why are you people such p@rty poopers. Join me in my celebr@tion. Jenny get my PA to get us a wine. We’re celebr@ting”.

“What are we celebr@ting?” Ralph asked.

“I lover her in this mood”, Alicia said.

“Hanson finally asked me out on a d@t£”, she said and Lilian rolled her eyes.

“This guy has really gotten you. I’ve never seen you so excited about a first time d@t£ before”, Ralph said.

“What do you expect. The man is fine and the way he talks with such calmness and his c0cky smile and his eyes when he’s staring”, Alicia said and everyone turned to face her.

“When did you see all this?” Sasha asked.

“Oops. I was the one who took him to the conference room when he arrived and he was such a gentleman and the way he spoke to me was just so mind-b!owing. You’ve got the one Sasha. The only turn off is not having money but with just his looks and his mannerisms, I can over look that”, Alicia said, batting her eyebrows.

“You’re so lvstful. Your b©yfri£ndshould be really worried”, Lilian said to her.

“What’s wrong with admiring God’s creation”.

“Anyway. He’s mine and off limits and I’ll appreciate you not talking about him that way”, Sasha said to her.

“Yes ma’am. I was just but yeah, I’ll back off”.

“So you two are d@t!ngnow?” Ralph asked.

“I don’t know. He’s not popped the question. He wants to take things slowly”.

“Mmm, but who pops the question these days. You just get along and the relationsh!pstarts without being asked”, Alicia said to her.

“Well, Ralph asked me and I’m glad he did. It’s stressful being in an implied relationsh!p”.

“Yeah. I want him to ask me”, Sasha said, smiling.

“I hope he does. We’ll leave you to continue with your celebr@tion”, Ralph said to her.

“So you’re not going to join me”.

“We’ve got work to do and our boss can be really mean sometimes. So I guess we have to get back to work before she snaps back to reality”, Alicia said to her.

“Whatever. I’ll celebr@te with Jennifer”, she said and they left.

******

Sasha closed from work early and was walking to her car at the car park when Ross approached her.

“Oh Lord. Ross what is it?”

“I c@m£ to apologize for what happened”.

“It’s fine. I’m fine. It’s all good. I nee-d to get home”.

“Sasha I don’t want you to be mad at me. How can I make it up to you?”

“How about you drop your suit and give him back his job”.

“Are you really still siding with Hanson?”

“If you are here to drag his name throu-gh the mud, then don’t waste your breath”.

“I’m not here to do that. I’m here to make peace with you and with Hanson I can’t get it dropped. I’ve received 4 lawsuits from his lawyer. So it’s really going to go down”.

“Okay. All the best then”.

“Sasha I really do care about you and my feelings are still there and I know you’ve still got some feelings for me. plea-se let’s work this out. I don’t want to lose you. Just tell me what to do and I’ll do it and make things right”.

“I told you to give me space and time and you didn’t do any of that. You were still all up in my face stressing about who I was talking to”.

“I apologize for that. But if you want that. I’ll do it now”.

“Ross. Do you even know where my thera-pist is at? Do you know anything about how my thera-py has been? Do you even know about how my ex Phil!phad a hold on me and I wasn’t letting go? Do you?”

“You never told me”.

“You expect me tell you. You’re supposed to ask Ross but you were just all about yourself and how I make you feel”.

“I’m sorry Sash. I’ll be better I promise”.

“It’s too late for that”.

“So you don’t have the same feelings for me?”

“I’m still attra-cted to you but that’s not a reason to want to be with you”.

“You sure?” He said, getting close to her.

“Ross what are you doing?” She asked and he k!$$£d her.

“Ross”, she said, pushing him away.

“Just let me go. k!ss!ngme won’t change my mind”, she said and she walked to her car.

*****

Sasha was in her room, dressing up when Samantha walked in.

“Hanson is here”, she said to her.

“Great. How do I look?”

“You’re going to b!ow his mind away”, she said, smiling.

“Thank you”.

“I’m really glad that you two are together. You deserve him. He’s the best”.

“Yeah right? But I’m scared”.

“How so?”

“He’s too good. I feel like something might happen”.

“Hmm. I think you should live in the now and enjoy the moment. If something happens, I know you’ll pu-ll throu-gh as you always do but plea-se be positive”.

“Mmm, you’re getting smart as the day goes”, Sasha said and Samantha smiled.

“Don’t keep him waiting”.

“Tell him I’ll be there soon. I’m just tou-ching up on my makeup”, she said and Samantha left.

When she was done, she stepped out and met him at the lounge. He was dressed up in a khaki pair of trou-sers and a blue str!pped fitting shi-t which displa-yed his arms.

“How did I not notice how fine he is since the first time I met him”, she said to herself.

“Wow! You’re looking so pretty and stunning”, he said to her and she blu-shed.

“I think the color suits you”, he said, referring to her light green dress.

“Thank you. You’re not looking bad yourself”, she said to him.

“Thank you. Shall we?” He said, stretching out his hands and she placed it in his.

He walked her to his car, she got in and he drove off.

*****

He took her to one of the restaurants in town. It wasn’t as hvge and clas-sy as the ones she usually went to but she was okay as long as she was with him.

“This place is lovely”, she said as they walked in.

“Yeah. It’s my favorite restaurant”.

“Really?”

“Yeah. The food here is amazing. It’ll b!ow your mind off”.

“Wow. If you say so I’m sure it would”, she said to him.

They walked to a table and took their seat.

“So what would you like to have?” He asked her.

“Since it’s your favorite restaurant. I suggest you pick out something for me which would b!ow my mind as you said”.

“Okay”, he said and he called the waitress.

“Hey Hanson. It’s been a long time since you’ve been here”, she said to him.

“Yeah. I got busy with work. How has it been? Is Ken still here?”

“Yeah. He is but he did the day shift so he’s gone”.

“Okay”.

“So what would you like to have?” She asked him.

“My usual but make it double”.

“Okay. Will you have your usual drink too?”

“Yeah. Sasha what drink would you like to have?”

“Red wine is fine”.

“I’m sorry but we’re out of red wine”, the waitress said to her and she was surprised.

“How?”

“It’s sold out”.

“You didn’t order enough? This creates a bad image for your restaurant”.

“I’m sorry that we don’t have it. What else can I get you?”

“I don’t know. You might end up saying that it’s also sold out”.

“Sasha. I think you should try the c0cktails. They’re amazing”.

“Okay. You pick for me”.

“Get her the same c0cktail I ordered”.

“Alright”, she said and she left.

“How do they not have red wine?”

“Not every restaurant has red wine. They purchase the drinks according to their customer’s preference”.

“I see. So you come here often?”

“I used to but when I started working at Chevron h0tel. I didn’t have the time to come here”.

“Oh okay”.

“You’re looking really gorgeous. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone who is as beautiful as you”, he said to her and she looked away whiles blu-shing.

“Thank you”, she said to him.

“You’re welcome”.

“So how is Samantha and her twin. I don’t think I’ve met her before”.

“I think it’s best you don’t. She’s crazy. Like super crazy”, she said and he laughed.

“But Samantha is fine. I think she’s really happy in your church. She’s always wanted a place to fit in and I guess she’s found that place”.

“I’m happy she feels that way. I wish you felt that way too”.

“What way?”

“Happy in church”.

“I do”.

“You missed church last Sunday and I know it was intentional”.

“I was at my friend’s place”.

“If you really wanted to come, you would have gone home”.

“Fine. It was intentional but it wasn’t because I didn’t like the church or anything. I was avoiding you”.

“Avoiding me?”

“Yeah”.

“Why?”

“What do you think?”

“Mmm. I see but I shouldn’t be the reason why you wouldn’t want to go to church. No one should be the reason why you wouldn’t want to go to church”.

“Mm. Don’t worry, I’ll be there this Sunday”.

“Great. I would want to introduce you to my s£nior pastor”.

“Really?”

“Yeah. If I’m going to d@t£ someone I would want them to know the person”.

“So we’re d@t!ng?”

“I was going to ask you after the dinner but since I alre-ady brou-ght it up. Sasha would you be my girlfriend?”

“That actually sounds corny. Now I un-derstand why people don’t ask”.

“Is that a yes”.

“Yes”, she said, grinning.

“Great”, he said, taking her hands and he k!$$£d it.

The drinks arrived and she quic-kly drank it to hold down her excitement.

“But why do you want your pastor to know?”

“He’s my spiritual head and I would love for him to know what’s going on in life and who is in my life”.

“I see. That’s actually nice. I wish I had one too”.

“You’ll surely get one soon. It’s in your hands”.

“Okay”.

The food finally arrived and Sasha was eager to eat.

“Mmm, it smells so nice”, she said, taking her fork.

“Wait till you eat it”, he said to her and he di-pped the fork into the food and placed it in front of her mouth.

“Uhhh, you want to feed me?”

“Just the first round”, he said and she opened her mouth to take it in.

“Mmm, it tastes so great”, she said, m0@n ing.

“I told you”, he said to her.

“Wow. It’s really nice”, she said as she ate the food.

When they were done eating, they sat there to talk for a while.

“So what are you ambitions? Like your goal?” She asked him.

“Well, I’ll like to build my restaurant one day and I intend for it to be the biggest and the best restaurant in the city”.

“Wow. That’s amazing. I can’t wait to see that”.

“Me too”.

“What about the pharmacy? I mean you studied pharmacy right?”

“Yeah. After I’ve achieved the restaurant dream, I plan to further my education in pharmacy and then probably open my own pharmaceutical company.

“That’ll be amazing too”.

“Yeah. What about you? Do you intend to keep doing the real estate or do you plan on venturing into something new in the future?”

“For now I’m okay with the real estate. I intend to retire when I give birth though?”

“Really?”

“Yeah. I want to be a stay at home mum. I want to have time for my kids and my husband”.

“Wow and so what happens to the company?”

“I’ll step down as the CEO but I’ll still be the majority share holder, so the money will still come in and I plan on doing several investments and also when I’m home, I’ll start doing handy stuff so I wouldn’t be idle”.

“Wow. I’ve not heard anyone say that before. Retire when they give birth”.

“Yeahhh. I’ve always wanted that. Growing up, my mum never had time for us so we were basically raised by a nanny. We only got close after she and my dad divorced”.

“I see. It’s really nice of you to want to be with your kids. They’ll have the best mum”.

“Yeah but when they’re done with high school, I’ll put myself out again and do something new”.

“Like what?”

“I don’t know yet. Time will tell”.

“Okay. Your plans are amazing”.

“Thank you”.

They talked for a while and then they left.

******

Hanson’s lawyers were at court, battling the suits.

Sasha was pres£nt in the court room and she was worried that Hanson was going to lose due to how things were going.

When they took a recess, she met Hanson and his lawyers outside.

“Chloe, I nee-d to take the first chair after the break”.

“No I can handle him”.

“Hello? Handle him? He whooped your as-s in court”, Sasha said to her.

“I thought you were staying out of this”.

“I’m not. You nee-d to let Michael take over after the break”.

“Hanson can you speak for yourself plea-se”, Chloe said to him.

“I agree with them. I don’t think you can handle him”.

“Are you being serious?”

“St©p putting in your emotions in this. We nee-d to win this and I’m going in on him next”, Michael said to her.

“Fine!” She said and she walked away.

“I don’t meant to ask but did you two ever have a thing? She seems so personally invested in this?” He asked Hanson.

“We once had a fling”, he said and Sasha glared at him in surprise.

The Rich Girlfriend*

*_Chapter 30_*

“I don’t mean to intrude but did this happen before or after your last case with her?” Michael asked.

“After my last case”, Hanson said, sternly.

“And it’s ended right?”

“Yeah. Of course it is”.

“Great. Because we wouldn’t want any conflict of interest. But I still suggest that you speak to her and let it be clear that she can’t let her emotions lead her on in this case and if she still has feelings for you, it’ll be best she steps down. It’s for your own good”, Michael said to him.

“Sure. I’ll speak to her. Thank you for being straight with me”.

“I’m your lawyer, I have to do that. The break will be over soon, I’ll be inside”, he said and he left.

“Are you okay?” Hanson asked Sasha who seemed to be lost in her thoughts.

“I’m not comfortable with Chloe being your lawyer”.

“Sasha she..”

“I get that she was the one who got you out from your previous case and I get that she was there for you. But you had a fling with her and it’s obvious that she has feelings for you. I’m not going to tell you what to do or who to talk to. I’m just being sincere with you. I’m not comfortable with that”.

“I get you and after today’s hearing, I’ll speak to her and be clear on where she stands”.

“She still has feelings and it’s not something she can put away just for this case”.

“True. Let’s see how the hearing goes and we’ll handle this after”, he said and she nodded.

“All the best Han”, she said and she walked into the building.

The second hearing after the break began and Michael took over. This time, it went well and he dragged Ross for everything he did. Ross was in h0t waters for infringing on Hanson’s rights by digging into his sealed police reports and he was in h0t waters for letting emotions get between him and his employee. He was required to provide enough evidence to show that his intent was right when he went digging and he was also to provide the procedures he took to get the do¢v-ment unsealed.

When the hearing was over, as Sasha was stepping out, Ross pu-ll-ed her aside.

“Ross, what again?”

“You know my intent was right. I was looking out for my company when I went to dig into that”.

“Now you want to lie? You did that because of me. I know you had good intentions when you were doing that but Ross you still broke the rules when you did it. What were you expecting was going to happen when you got that info?”

“I thought he actually did it and was re-leased on a deal or for good behavior. I didn’t know that he was innocent and I was just trying to let you see who he truly was because I didn’t un-derstand how he just popped into your life. Our lives”.

“Do you even know how I met Hanson? He’s not done anything to you but you just keep seeing him as a threat. He didn’t barged into our lives. He’s never even made a move on me. It’s all me. And if you listened and un-derstood that, you wouldn’t be in this position”.

“Hmm. I just cared about you so much and I felt he was trying to get you or use you. You know how these guys with no money behave”.

“I get you but now this is what it is”.

“Do you still care about me?”

“Of course I do. I hold no grudges against you”.

“Great. I nee-d a favor and I’ll back out and give him back his job”.

“What favor?”

“I’ll want to put you on the stand on our next hearing”.

“What?”

“Yeah and I’ll nee-d you to let the jury know that I was looking out for my company when I did that”.

“But I’ll be lying and be putting Hanson towards the point of losing”.

“He won’t lose Sasha. He’ll still win If the jury sees that I did it because of you, I might go to prison because it was a sealed do¢v-ment but if they realize that I did it because of my company, they might un-derstand and I might get house arrest or probation or just a fine. plea-se Sasha I nee-d this. I would even drop the haras-sment suit”.

“How did you even get the sealed do¢v-ment?”

“Someone at the district attorney’s office, owed me a favor and I convinced him to do it”.

“Oh my God Ross. You went too far and I don’t want to lie in court it could come back to bite me”.

“I would prepare on how the questions will go and how you should answer. You wouldn’t have to lie, I just nee-d you to imply that it was for my company”.

“Hmm. I told Hanson that I was going to stay out of this”.

“I can’t go to prison Sasha. plea-se”.

“I’ll have to think about it Ross. Just give me time”.

“Thank you so much”, he said lifting her two hands. He k!$$£d it and he left.

Sasha was confused and didn’t know what to do or think. She wanted to talk to Hanson about it but she knew that it could be used against Ross in court. She didn’t want him to go to prison because he was trying to look out for her.

“Hey, we had a little victory”, Hanson said, lifting her and swirling around.

“Yeah, we did”, she said, forcing a smile.

“You don’t look too happy. Is it because of Chloe? I’d go right now and let her know that she can’t repres£nt me”, he said to her as he dropped her back on the floor.

“Yeaahh”, she said, forcing a smile.

“Okay. I’ll speak to her then. But for now. Let’s go and celebr@te”, he said to her and she smiled.

“Has she left?”

“Yeah. She had to run off, she said she had an emergency”.

“Okay and what about Michael?”

“He’s also gone. You know lawyers, they’re always busy”.

“Yeah”.

“So let’s go. Where do you want us to go to?”

“It’s your victory. You decide”.

“Okay. Uhm, let’s go gr-ab some ice cream and hand out at the park. What do you think?”

“That’s okay”, she said to him and they left.

*****

Hanson and Sasha were both at the park, taking a walk as they li-cked their ice cream.

“Sasha, your energy is kind of low. Is there something bothering you?”

“I’m fine”.

“You know you can tell me anything”.

“I’m okay. I guess I’m just not too happy that Ross might go down”.

“Mmm. I get you. Of course I don’t want to see anyone go to prison or be hurt or anything of that sort but it’s what it is. He c@m£ at me first with a suit and he fired me. I had to fight back”.

“I get it. Of course you have every right to fight back. It’s still ma-king me feel someway”.

“I’m sorry you feel that way and I’m sorry that you’re kind of in the middle of this”.

“No, no. It’s my fault that this happened”.

“It’s not your fault at all. It’s not your fault that Ross felt insecured by my pres£nce. It’s not your fault that we both developed feelings for each other. things can’t be controlled but it’s how we manage them that counts”.

“Hmm. You have a point. Well, I hope it works out well on both ends”.

“Yeah. Now brighten up”, he said, putting his ice cream on her nose.

“Did you just do that?” She asked and he wiggled his brows and stepping away.

“I’m so going to get you”, she exclaimed and she ran after him.

******

The following Sunday, Sasha was in her car, waiting for Samantha to get in.

“Sammy!!” She exclaimed and she blew her horn.

“I’m here, I’m here”, she said, getting into the car and Sally got in too.

“Am I blind or do I see two of you?” Sasha asked surprised.

“We’re not even that identical”, Sally said, rolling her eyes.

“How did you get her to come?” Sasha asked.

“We had a deal. She made me cover for her in clas-s and to pay for that I asked her to follow us to church”.

“Wow”, Sasha said, laughing. “The angels are going to dance in Heaven today”.

“Can you just move the car?” Sally exclaimed.

“If you don’t keep that tone down, I’m going to sprinkle holy water on you. You know how demons react to holy water”, Sasha said to her.

“The last time I checked you were one too. At least I’m not going to church because of a man”, Sally said to her.

“Yeah you’re going because your dumb as-s couldn’t sit in clas-s. Every person in church got there on their first day because they were invited, so your post is invalid”, Sasha said and she drove off.

*****

After church, Sasha made an effort to be friendly to those who were trying to speak to her.

She was approached by different sub ministry groups to join their sub ministry.

“Do you sing?” One of the gentleman asked her and Sally bur-st out laughing. Samantha pu-ll-ed her away and took her to her church friends.

“I can’t sing. I don’t even try unless I’m in my bathroom”, Sasha said to the man.

“Do you dance?” Another asked her.

“No. I don’t have any talent actually. When God was creating me, I’m sure he forgot to add that”, she said, snickering.

“Aww don’t say that. I’m sure you’ve got a gift. You just nee-d time to see what is”.

“At this age? Nah. There’s nothing to see”.

“Mmm, but you cook right?”

“Yeah everyone can cook”.

“Not everyone”, a guy said to her as he laughed at the lady standing by him.

“She can’t cook to save even a cat”, he said and they all laughed.

“Mmm, so since you can cook, you can join the care team”, one of the ladies said to her.

“Mmmm, what exactly do you do?”

“We’re in charge of everything that has to do with refreshment. On normal Sundays, we don’t so much. We just prepare and sell snacks but during hvge programs, we do a lot of cooking and preparing other stuff”.

“Mmm, okay. I’ll think about it”, she said to her.

“Or you can join the ushering team”, another lady said.

“Or the praying team”, a guy added.

“No, I’m good”, she said and they all laughed. They talked for a while till Hanson took her away.

“Where are we going to?” She asked.

“To see the s£nior pastor. He’s free now and if we don’t hurry, he’ll be occu-pied again”, he said to her and they increa-sed their pace.

On getting to the office, they saw a man walking in but Sasha quic-kly rushed and blocked him.

“I’m sorry but we really have to see him”, she said to him and Hanson chuckled.

“Good girl”, he said to her as he gave her a fist.

“Pastor Jude,”, he said as he took his seat and Sasha took hers.

“Hey Hanson. How are you doing?”

“I’m good. How about yourself?”

“I’m awesome by God’s grace. Hey, what’s your name?” He asked Sasha.

“My name is Sasha”.

“You look familiar”.

“Really?” She asked.

“Yeah, I’m trying to remember where I saw you”.

“I think it’s at the food competition”, Hanson said to him.

“Yeah yeah, that’s it. I never forget a face. You’re welcome Sasha and your food really taste great. I was one of the few who ate it”.

“I’m glad you enjoyed it”, she said and he smiled.

“Uhmm Papa. I actually c@m£ to introduce her to you as my uhmm girlfriend”.

“Wow! Girlfriend? That’s amazing”, he said, smiling.

“I’m really happy for you two”.

“Thank you”, Hanson said, smiling.

“I can’t wait to see how this journey turns out”, he said to them. “Sasha I would love to get to know you more. My wife would love that too, she’s supposed to be here but she’s attending to a few things somewhere in the church I guess. But yeah we’d love to know more about you. When do you think you can visit?”

“Visit the church?”

“No. Our house. It’s always open to everyone”.

“Uhmm”, she said, uncomfortably.

“You can come with Hanson or anyone if you feel uncomfortable coming alone”.

“Great. Maybe somewhere this week”, she said to him.

“Great. I’ll be expecting you”.

“Okay”, she said, forcing a smile.

“Let me just pray with you before you go”, he said to them and he said a short prayer and then they got up to leave.

“Hanson, I’ll like to see you tomorrow or this evening”.

“Okay Papa”, he said and they left.

He walked her to her car. Samantha and Sally were alre-ady there, waiting.

“Oh finally”, Sally said when she saw her.

“You must be Sally”, he said to her.

“And you are the man who’s the source of my nightmare”, she said and he laughed.

“Wow, then I must be doing something wrong. What can I do to be the man of your dreams”.

“Mmmm, let’s see. Wipe your existence so that Sasha doesn’t get to see you and in that way, she ends up not coming here and then Samantha too would eventually sit at home and no one would have to bring me here”.

“Sally!!” Samantha said to her and Hanson laughed.

“It’s unfortunate that I’m not Thanos, I would have done that”, he said to her.

“Really unfortunate!”

“If I was Thanos I would have wiped off what’s ma-king you feel the way you feel”.

“How do I feel”.

“That you don’t belong here”.

“Of course I don’t”.

“Where do you belong?”

“The club, un-der a boy and what not”, Sasha said to him.

“You were once like that, so don’t judge me”, Sally said to her.

“Mmm, I don’t think those places deserve someone as beautiful and energetic as you”, he said and she rolled her eyes.

“So the church deserves that?”

“No God deserves that. He made you in his image and gave you free will and everything you have. I think it’s fair to Him that you atleast thank Him for it”.

“And being in church, is the way to thank him?”

“Not necessarily. You can thank him by giving back that love”.

“How?”

“By acknowledging that he loves you and spending more time with him”.

“I see”.

“We’ll talk about it more. That’s if you want to hear more”.

“I’d love to hear more”, Sasha said to him and Sally roles her eyes.

“Can we go now?” She asked and Sasha ignored her.
