-CHAPTER 13-
DANTE
I met Kenzie about three years ago and I liked her at first sight though she friend zoned me. I didn’t give up hope of trying to woo her to become my girlfriend and because she knew I could do anything for her, she asked me to d@t£ her sister and keep her away from Lee. The plan was for me to marry her and divorce her after a couple of months. Well the plan has failed, maybe I didn’t put in as much effort as I should have but I don’t want to fight this battle anymore, I am done with the Msizi sisters. I will resign from my job tomorrow and move back to S.A.
AISHA
I have just gotten back from work and I am about to get into the shower when a knock sounds on the door. Wra-pping a towel around my b©dy, I head out of my room, walk over to the door and open it. I am surprised to see Kenzie standing on my doorstep. I wonder what she is doing here. She was the last person I expected to see today. Kenzie and I haven’t spoken over the last two years. When she fired me, I had no money and nothing to my name. For a couple of months after that I suffered, my life went from bad to worse and just when I was about to give up, I met someone who helped me pick the broken pieces of my life. He helped me move on and a few months later, we got married, currently I run one of my husband’s restaurants.
‘’Kenzie! What the hell are you doing here? And how did you know my house?’’
‘’Aisha, I know you are surprised to see me here. It’s been ages, how are you doing?’’
‘’I am fine, surprised is an un-derstatement, I am shocked.’’
‘’Can I come in? I nee-d to talk to you about something.’’
‘’Okay,’’ I step aside and allow her in, then I shut the door behind my back and lead her to the living room.
‘’You can take a seat, I hope you won’t take much of my time because I was about to shower.’’
‘’No I won’t take much of your time, I just nee-d your help with something.’’
‘’I am all ears.’’
‘’Lee and Kristian are back together, they are planning to get married soon.’’
‘’Okay.’’
‘’I would like you to help me break them ap@rt once again.’’
I laugh,’’ You are joking right?’’
‘’I am not joking, I will pay you handsomely for this.’’
‘’I am sorry Kenzie but I am not interested.’’
‘’So you will allow those two to live happily ever after? You won’t put up a fight for what’s yours?’’
‘’Lee is not mine, I don’t even care who he ends up with, I have moved on, I am married now and I wouldn’t want anything to jeopardize my marriage, plea-se leave my house and don’t come back here.’’
‘’I can upgrade your life, I can give you a better job at the company than the one that you currently have now.’’
‘’Kenzie leave my house.’’
She looks around and stands up, ‘’this doesn’t even deserve to be called a house.’’
‘’Leave!’’ I point at the door.
‘’I will leave but do get in t©uçh when you change your mind.’’
‘’I will not change my mind.’’
‘’I will be waiting for your call,’’ she says before walking out.
‘’Fool!’’ I yell slamming the door behind her back.
Kenzie and her mother used me, I can never fall into their tra-p ever again, when the truth of what I had done hit social media, I was humiliated, people called me names and insulted me, I never want to go throu-gh that ever again. Currently my life is at blissful peace, I am enjoying this moment, good flows from me and I am not entertaining anything negative.
A week later,
Walking towards me while holding our son on one hand and a wreath of white blossoms on the other, Kristian is clad in a while dress with a train, a bridal veil and a round gold n£¢klace with matching earrings. Kristian and I are getting married today for the second time and this time for real, we didn’t tell anyone about this ap@rt from Jada and her husband who are here as our witnesses. We plan to surprise the rest of our friends and family members with the news of our reconciliation and marriage.
When she finally stands next to me, the judge immediately gets started with the ceremony.
“We are here today to witness and proclaim the decision that this couple has made to journey forward in their lives as marriage p@rtners,” she begins before facing Kristian and I. Then she asks, ‘’do you come here freely and without reservation to give yourselves to each other in marriage?’’
‘’Yes,’’ we respond at the same time.
After that she leads us throu-gh the vows with us repeating each line after him.
‘’The rings,’’ she says.
Jada brings the rings and hands them to her, once we sl!pthe rings on each other’s f!ngers, we are pronounced as husband and wife. Excited, I pu-ll Kristian into my arms and we k!ssbefore walking out for a few ph0tos.
‘’Congratulations!’’ Jada and Abel say embr@cing us.
‘’Thank you, we couldn’t have done it without you guys.’’
‘’I hope you stick to each other this time around.’’
‘Definitely!’’ we respond.
‘’Lunch at our place,’’ Jada says.
‘’At your place?’’
‘’Yes, I hired some people to prepare some food for us, take this as our pres£nt.’’
‘’Thank you so much you guys.’’
‘’You are welcome, we will drive with Caleb and Else in our car so we can give you the newlyweds some privacy.’’
‘’Okay,’’ I wi-nk, handing Caleb to her.
‘’Bye boy.’’
‘’Bye daddy and mummy.’’
‘’See you soon baby,’’ Kristian says.
They get into their car and start off while we drive right behind them.
‘’I am so happy to be your wife again.’’
‘’Me too babe, I love you so much.’’
‘’I can’t wait for tonight.’’
‘’Me too.’’
An hour later, we pu-ll up in front of Jada’s house then we step out of the house and she leads us to the front door. When she opens the door, there stands Kristian’s mum, Robert, Daddy P, Palesa, Jaden, his wife and some of our friends.
‘’Surprise!’’ they yell
‘’Oh my!’’ Kristian exclaims.
‘’I am sorry I told them,’’ Jada says and Kristian gives her the ‘’I will kill you kind of look.’’
Our family and friends take time to congratulate us before we are ushered into the house which has been decorated with balloons and flowers. They even have a big chair at the far end which says bride and groom.
‘’Thank you so much you guys.’’
‘’You are welcome.’’

Today has been such an amazing day, I am so happy for all the support that my friends and family rendered to Lee and I. We were honestly not thinking about having a celebr@tion but they all c@m£ throu-gh and made our day amazing. I am so happy and my heart is filled with so much joy, I hope the rest of my days here on earth will be this exciting.
‘’Thank you so much guys, today has been an amazing day,’’ I say.
We are standing in front of our car re-ady to leave for the h0tel where we will be spending the night. Lee and I are not traveling out for our honey, we will just spend a day or two at the Neelkanth Sarovar Premier h0tel.
When we get back we will be moving into his house, this time around I want to allow Lee to be the leader in our marriage.
I am re-ady to honour him as my king and lord. I want this marriage to work, I am not taking chances I will also be un-dergoing some counseling sessions to deal with my childhood trauma. I don’t want to be this bitter towards Mr. Msizi. As much as Mr. Msizi and I will never have a stable relationsh!p, I want to heal from the hurt he caused me and I want to let bygones be bygones.
‘’You are welcome, take care of yourselves.’’
‘’Thank you,’’ we get into the car and they wave at us as Lee drives out of the compound. Caleb will be spending the next few days at Jada’s house, he loves spending time with Else he didn’t even give a fuss about us leaving without him.
We pas-s throu-gh the house on our way to the h0tel and gr-ab a few things before proceeding.
Upon arrival at the h0tel, we check in and they direct us to our room., picking me up, Lee carries me into the h0tel suite.
Once in the room, he puts me down, grasps my w@!st and rains pas-sionate k!sses on me. Then he pu-lls away and looks at me intensely.
“What do you want us to do first? Order some food? Take a bath…,”
“I am not even hungry for food and I don’t want to bathe yet.”
“What do you want?”
“You know what I want babe.”
“Take me,” I whisper.
“To where?”
“I want you to make love to me ,” I say softly.
“Are you sure no one has t©uçhed you in the last two years?”
“Babe! Are you seriously going to ask me such silly questions at a time like this?”
“I just want to know.”
“No one has, I have been waiting for you and two years is a long time babe you know? Do something.”
“Say no more.”
He undresses me slowly , as if savoring each moment , tou-ching, until she I am trembling with anticipation . When I am finally n-ked, he pu-lls the covers back and lays me on the be-d.
Feeling myself getting we-t, I lie there n-ked as he undresses. I have waited for this moment for such a long time.
“Time for baby number two,” he whispers.
Climbing on t©p of me, my core lit up as his ha-rd ness pressed against me.
When he enters me, I let out a heavy breath. I feel full.
“You are okay?”
“Yes.”
When he starts moving,
his thrû-sting is slow and long, filling me up and reminding me how amazing S-x is with him.
He continues thrû-sting into me until we both reach the edge of pas-sion’s abyss . At the highest peak, I m0@n loudly and scream his name.
Coll@psing on t©p of me, Lee buries his face into my n£¢k and I smile as I run my f!ngersthrou-gh his hair. I feel content and happy. It’s always been Lee, I should have given us a second chance earlier.
“That was amazing!”
“I hope we made baby number two.”
“Isn’t Caleb too young to have a sister?”
“No, we can have as many children as possible.”
“The spacing babe.”
“It doesn’t matter as long as we are able to take care of them.”
“Then baby number two it is.”
“Yes.”
“I am tired,” I yawn.
“You should rest babe, the night is still young.”
“I will rest a bit, I am not yet done with you.”
He laughs, “I am not done with you either.”
“I love you,” I whisper, closing my eyes.
“I love you too.”

“Love of my life, efindigile!” Kristian’s caption re-ads, she has posted a ph0to of her and Lee flaunting their rings and marriage certificate.
They got married again, it’s safe to say I have lost Lee to her. Come to think about it, was he ever mine in the first place? Lee used me and discarded me like some old piece of trash.
For the last couple of days I have been thinking of what to do to get back at Lee for what to do but to no avail. I want to do something that will make him regret leaving me, I want him to pay dearly for humiliating me. Kristian too will p@rtake of the revenge that I am yet to serve them.
“Yes! Yes! I know what to do,” I mumble un-der my breath as a thought crosses my mind. “I should have thought about this earlier.”
gr-abbing my phone and car keys, I rush out to my car, I know who to go to for help. I know what I have to do to get back at them.
Getting into my car I drive out of the compound and into the main road. It’s about time Lee started to pay for his mistakes.
