‘Uh oh yeah I’m glad you’re okay mom you almost gave me a heart attack last night’..i said sitting next to her,stro-ked her cheek and smiled softly..
My mother used to be the most beautiful woman in Ohio then but now after moving down here her sickness got the best of her..
She looks so frail and old..
‘Ohhh yeah about that,I’m in the hospital??’..she replied and I chuckled softly..
‘Of course you’re in the hospital mom and you’re okay now thanks to Doctor Jared and his other colleagues’..
‘Well thank the Lord uhh Isabel what about the bills??’..she asked..
I raised my head up to the ceiling immediately blinking back the tears that glazed my eyes..
