I was blindfolded when I was been knocked out.
“What do you want” I screamed.
“You have such a melodious voice” A voice echoed and suddenly my blindfold was re-moved.
“Didn’t expect you to be this good looking” A lady complimented with her face at the other side and I looked around.
This must be the vampire region. Everyone at home must be so worried now. I thought worriedly.
“What do you want” I asked curiously and she turned around,it was like an angel fell from the sky.
“Wow you’re so pretty. How did Miles end with a pretty son like you” She uttered politely.
She knows father’s name,she must be an old rival. I thought.
“You’re too beautiful to be a villian” I scoffed and she smiled.
Oh no she looks like a beauty goddess with that beautiful smile. I muttered in my mind as I drooled.
“Hah! You sure do have the eyes to see beautiful things just like your father. What’s your name” She asked curiously.
“And why would I tell you my name? You sure don’t have good intentions. Why would you kidnap me like that” I asked seriously.
“Untie him” She ordered the guard next to me and he unlocked my chains.
“Are you not scared of me running away” I asked staring at her and she sat down.
“Even though you run, you’re definitely going to be kidnapped by someone else. Pretty face like yours can’t walk freely in a place like this. Stay put and let’s discuss like matured minds” She hinted.
“I can only do that if you tell me why you kidnapped me. Are you trying to get back at my father with this” I asked seriously.
“I find you interesting that’s why I stole you away. Why do you think I didn’t rescue my daughter? I have a solution to the issue about the vampires and the werewolves” She uttered.
“And why are you telling me this? I’m sure you will be able to tell father about that” I g@sped.
“Do you think your father will listen if I don’t kidnap you? Can I know your name now” She asked.
“Now or later you will find out what my name is so it doesn’t matter if I tell you now” I said.
“Exactly I like that. plea-se what’s your name” She asked curiously.
“Aidan,my name’s Aidan” I mentioned and her face expression changed.
“What’s wrong? Don’t feel satisfied yet. I didn’t lie to you about my name so don’t worry” I said sarcastically.
“Aidan. Did your father name you that” She asked curiously.
“Yeah but why? I don’t think that’s the right question you should be asking now” I g@sped staring at her suspiciously.
“Why did he name you that” She uttered almost in a whisper.
“What do you mean?” I asked curiously.
“I will only solve the issues between the vampires and werewolves on one condition” She said staring at me.
“Do we really have to get conditions involved and I didn’t get your name” I inquired.
“You’re very bold,you don’t have to know my name. I’m just someone who work with only those I can benefit with from” She sm-irked.
“But why are you trying to draw conditions with me? I don’t think I’m in the position to fulfill any condition of yours. I will really advise you to go talk things out with my father” I suggested and she scoffed.
“I won’t give you conditions that you can’t fulfill and I really wish to have you here for a long time” She smiled.
What’s she supposed to mean by that. She can’t probably hold me captive here for a long time. Aidan you nee-d to act smart. I thought.
“Don’t you wish to help your father out? The vampires really hold a hvge grudge against the Alpha so it will only be applicable to go with my solution because I’m their leader. The Alpha is really going to lose this battle if we wage war. How much do you trust your father can conquer us” She scoffed and I looked around.
Using un-der hand tricks to conquer the werewolves,Is the only way they can win against Father. As it stands they may have greater plans on how to take us down. I thought seriously.
“Let’s hear your condition but I also have my condition because we’re both gaining from doing this. You wouldn’t suggest for a solution if you don’t have your fears as well” I said seriously and she smiled.
“Wow you’re very smart. Smarter than your father but what if I can’t fulfill your condition” She asked and I smiled.
“That was line. I won’t give you a condition you can’t fulfill” I sm-irked.
“That was my line as well” She said and we both laughed.
“I’m not suppose to be friendly with you but you’re very interesting like I said” She said.
“And you’re beautiful although I shouldn’t be complimenting you” I smiled.
“What are your conditions” She asked curiously.
“I might look very easy but my conditions are sure not easy ones” I sm-irked.
“Mine as well so let’s hear it” She requested.
MILES POV
“I knew things were going to smoothly to be true” Mason whined.
“You can’t blame anyone if you’ve become used to expecting problems” I sneered.
“You sound very calm, aren’t you worried about Aidan’s where about” He asked curiously.
“Of course I’m worried but I know he’s safe. If he was in danger nature would have sĀ£nt a signal. I guess the Alpha vampire also got bewitched by Aidan’s looks just like you did” I tea-sed.
“Oh no don’t talk about that because I’m really hurting that he’s not here with us. I miss him alot. We’ve missed eighteen years of his life and all thanks to the unknown stoneheart” Mason cursed.
“Zoe feels terrible not meeting her son. He has only been here for three days and now he’s been stolen again. Fate really love pla-ying dirty tricks on us” I g@sped.
“Miles don’t you think we really nee-d to find the one who stole Aidan from us. I think it’s really unfair letting them go like that” He said seriously.
“I wanted to do that but Elina and Aidan don’t want me to. Aidan is trying to protect that person” I uttered.
“It sounds like you’re putting a blind eye to it because you’re don’t want to accept reality and you’re indirectly trying to protect them” He protested.
“If you were in my shoes you will choose to put a blind eye to it” I gulped.
I don’t want to get hurt. I refuse to get hurt or emotionally tortured by anyone. I will rather ignore it than go throu-gh emotional torture again. I thought staring at the empty space.
“You’re running away from your principle” Mason reminded.
“It doesn’t matter as long as my children are save” I emphasized.
“Does the situation now look like anything close to save. Elina is in her chambers crying her eyes out and Zoe’s in her chambers thinking her head off and we have no idea what Aidan is going throu-gh in the hands of the vampire. Do you still think this is save” He yelled.
“Why are you yelling at me? Everything’s un-der control okay. Nothing’s going to happen to Aidan. The gates have been opened,we will be expecting guests” I shouted frustratedly.
“What do you mean” He asked curiously.
“Today makes it the second day Aidan’s been with them and no threat or word from the vampires so they’re planning on bringing him back themselves so stĀ©p getting pissed and watch the drama and threats that will unfold. The vampires are at the entrance of Polatan,let’s go to the palace” I explained as we head for the palace.
“Miles you sure are very mysterious” He g@sped.
FLASHBACK*** when I left the training ground the day Aidan was stolen,I went to Lila’s resident. It has been covered with bushes and cobwebs.
I got in and went to her room.
“Why are they traces of blood to the back door” I uttered and followed the tears of blood to the back door then found Lila’s clothes on the ground and scratches of her claws on the wall like a struggle.
I thought the guards took care of her bĀ©dy but why are her clothes here and scratches on the wall. There’s only one answer to this and that’s Lila was rescued by someone. I thought seriously.*** FLASHBACK ENDS.

MILES POV
Mason and I went to the palace, everyone was there alre-ady.
“Supreme the vampires are heading this way” Jaxo reported.
“Supreme aren’t we supposed to gather everyone at the pack house and get re-ady for war Incase they c@mĀ£ for fight” Eva asked.
“That won’t be necessary because it will be a fight only the Alpha vampire and I can fight. We have a hvge score to settle” I said coldly.
“Alpha that sounds more like a threat to your life” Zoe cut in and I win-ked at her.
“Don’t worry about me,I will be fine after all they’re bringing back our son. It’s worth taking a risk” I g@sped staring at her.
“You’re acting really strange. Don’t you think you’re being too confident for your own good” Mason whispered.
“We won’t seat and watch them harm the Alpha so we should get re-ady for anything” Melissa suggested and Aidan c@mĀ£ in.
“Aidan” I called out and he ran to me then gave me a hvg.
“Aidan… Is this Aidan” Zoe uttered as tears roll down her cheeks and she gave him a ti-ght hvg.
“Mother” He called softly.
“I’ve missed you so much” Zoe sobbe-d as she k!$$Ā£d his cheeks.

“Accepting to make Aidan come back to us alive is really not a decision you would have made easily without asking for anything in return. What’s your condition” I asked curiously.
Father is such a genius. He knew she would offer a condition in return. Aidan thought.
The Alpha vampire is a she just like I expected. I thought anxiously.
“You’ve become more smarter than you used to be” She uttered with a sm-irk.
“Don’t you think it’s disrespectful talking to me with your mask on” I uttered anxiously.
“Why are you so curious about my looks? Don’t tell me you think I posed to be the Alpha vampire just to get here” She scoffed.
“Mother” Erica called out as Elina and Cora brou-ght her into the palace.
“Elina..!” Aidan called out and Elina ran to him and gave him a ti-ght hvg.
“I’m sorry” Elina uttered in his embr@ce as tears escaped her eyes.
“Erica how are you? They didn’t harm you exactly like I expected” the Alpha vampire said and hvgged Erica.
“Now we’ve both been given our children can we seal our condition” She said seriously.
“What condition” I asked curiously.
“It’s simple. Aidan would get married to Erica in exchange for peace to reign between the vampires and werewolves” She said boldly.
“Hmm… Did I hear right or you’re pla-ying tricks” I scoffed.
“What kind of hilarious condition is that? How do you expect the future Alpha of Polatan to make a vampire his luna” Zoe scowled.
“You don’t have to get all pissed. You’re not an exception,your father made a vampire his luna and the Alpha made you his Luna so the vampire blood runs in the veins of Aidan” The Alpha vampire emphasized.
“You know so much about me. Who the hell are you? What are trying to gain by bringing this up” Zoe asked furiously and the Alpha vampire slowly re-moved her mask,it was like the sunlight flashed in all our eyes as she re-moved her mask.
“Lila..!” Everyone g@sped with a dropped jaw.
I knew it,my hunch was right after all. I knew Lila didn’t die. I thought nervously.
“Nice to meet you all. It’s been a while” She said with a smile.
“What are you still doing here? We thought you’re dead. You really have a specialty of disappearing after posing dead” Mason cursed frustratedly.
“You really didn’t expect me to die like that,did you” Lila scoffed.
“I really don’t care if you’re alive or dead but bringing a condition as ridiculous as this is something I will reject without even thinking about it” I blurted.
“What’s the rush? Now that I’ve come open, don’t you all want to know how I bec@mĀ£ the Alpha vampire and again nothing to doubt Erica is my biological daughter with the late Alpha vampire” She explained with a malicious smile.
“Do we look like we’re curious to know all about that? You really still haven’t changed a bit, using marriage as a condition. Don’t you get tired of it” Mason said seriously.
“It’s my principle and I must stick to it. Marriage is the only way to gain power and revenge on someone” Lila said seriously with hatred glowing in her eyes.
“Listen to me Lila. If we have any scores to settle, leave our children out of this” I said seriously as I walked to her.
“There’s no way I can do that because it all started because of them” She said angrily.
“And don’t even try to talk me out of it, Aidan agreed to make Erica his bride” Lila added and I looked at Aidan.
“Aidan you did what?” Zoe g@sped frustratedly.
“I’m sorry mother but I think that was the best decision I could make in a situation like that. I can’t endanger father’s life. The vampires are good at using un-der hand tricks to conquer their enemies and Polatan won’t be an exception” Aidan explained.
He’s right, I’ve always been anxious about our war with the vampires. Lila is really someone you can’t mess with,she’s only been reliant that’s why she offered only marriage. She can do worse than this if she wishes to but I can’t let Aidan end up being Lila’s son-in-law that’s also close to suicide. I thought confused.
“Aidan you really have no idea what Lila means whenever she uses marriage as her condition” Zoe uttered almost in a whisper.
“Why would you give a condition like that? If I’m your enemy why do you want to be related to me” I asked curiously.
“That’s because I like Aidan alot. I want to have someone like him close to my daughter. Aidan offered me two conditions in exchange to agree to my own conditions” She scoffed.
“Conditions” Everyone murmured staring at Lila.
“His first condition made my condition p@rtially invalid. Aidan’s first condition was that if he spends three months with Erica and he didn’t develop feelings for her,he won’t marry her and his second condition really made me pissed. His second was to never wage war against Polatan even though he doesn’t get married to Erica” Lila mentioned and a smile appeared on my face.
“He made me look like I was begging to make peace with the werewolves but I really didn’t care because desperate times calls for desperate measures” Lila added.
“Aidan is very smart” Mason complimented.
“Don’t get too excited. You have no idea what I’m capable of doing regardless of the conditions” Lila cut in.
LILA POV
FLASHBACK*** On the night when the polatan pack fought with the vampires. I went into the forest to help cast a spell on some of the vampires but they outnumbered me and the Alpha vampire R@pĀ£d me right there in the forest before Miles showed up.
And that was how I bec@mĀ£ pregnant with Erica,my side effects bec@mĀ£ more severe because of the pregnancy that’s why I couldn’t fight firmly for Miles.***FLASHBACK ENDS.
It all started because of them and it will end with them. Miles you will regret betraying me,I haven’t forgotten that.
I’m back to avenge my wasted emotions.
