Sebastian’s POV

Three Days Later

I watched as my father walked around his be-droom with his hands behind his back and his head held heavenwards. He then stopped and turned towards me.

“There are rumors circulating that you may be involved with another woman,” he spoke.

“And I can @$$ure you that those are just what you said there are. Rumors.”

“Oh, they better be just rumors, Sebastian, because if you bring this Kingdom any shame of any sort, you wouldn’t hear the end of it!”

I heaved a sigh and ru-bbe-d my temples as the times spent with Emily came flooding back like a broken pipe, including the night we had together in my be-droom.

“Sebastian! Have you heard me?” my father’s voice snapped away the memories.

“Huh?” I asked.

“Have you been to your fitting already? It’s tradition to wear a suit with your medals and the color of the country’s flag!”

“I’ll get to it right now,” I said and peeled myself off the chair. I walked out the be-droom and entered into the halls, and once there, I just had to run into Princess Naomi.

“Hi,” she greeted shortly and walked p@$$ me to my surprise, she didn’t stop to make conversation as she always wanted to do.

With a confused heart and head, I walked into the fitting room.

Emily’s POV

I walked to the balcony again, over looking the ocean. I loved doing so when I had a lot on my mind and not willing to talk to anyone about it. The calm cold breeze hit against my skin and for a strange reason, I was enjoying it.

“What should I actually do?” I asked myself. I didn’t know if I should continue to pursue the man I had always loved or if I should just leave him be so he could fulfill his duties to his father and his country.

“You’re being selfish, Emily. You can’t do this,” I spoke again.

The telephone rang and I went back indoors to retrieve it.

“Miss.Hollen, there’s a guest here to see you in the lobby,” the receptionist spoke to me.

“Thank you, I’ll be right down.” I hung up and made a beeline for the door.

I wasn’t expecting Sebastian to pop up in my hotel so soon, especially with his wedding approaching in a matter of days. He should know better than to show up here.

I got out the elevator and walked into the lobby, scanning my eyes for him but he was no where in sight. The only person prese-nt was a woman, with her legs crossed, arms folded and a pink hat covering half of her face but the sm-irk on her li-ps was visible.

She stood up and walked towards me.

“So you’re Emily Hollen,” she said and tilted her face upwards as I stood about three inches taller than her. And it was that very moment I knew who she was because I had seen her before.

“And you’re Princess Naomi,” I replied with rattled thoughts flowing throu-ghmy mind.

‘what the hell is she doing here and what does she want?’

Emily’s POV

“You have a lot of nerves, Emily Hollen. I don’t know who you think you are and I don’t care who you are, but let me make myself very very clear to you. Stay away from my fiance!” she finished with a small shout and got the attention of several hotel employees who quickly turned their eyes away from us when I looked back at them.

“Listen, it’s not what…..” I started but she cut me off by lifting her hand to my face and the only reason why I didn’t slapped it away, she was royalty.

“No. I don’t listen to outsiders and to people like you. I believe that you’re certain on knowledge about my engagement with the Prince but nonetheless, you came onto him!”

“Where’s your proof of that?” I asked now, folding my arms to control myself.

“Oh, I will….I do have…. I want to hear you confess with that mouth of yours!”

I laughed and shook my head at her. Of course, the gossip would start about Sebastian and myself. I had been expecting such but Princess Naomi had no proof. She just wanted me to fold at her prese-nce because of her title.

“If you’ll excuse me now, I’ll like to get back to my room,” I said to her softly and sweetly before turning my back to her. I went back to my room and she left.

I immediately texted Sebastian and he texted back, asking to see me in person. I obliged to his offer. Lord knows this could be the very last time of seeing him before he turns into a King and a husband.

After two hours, we met at his favorite sp-ot.

“Hi,” he greeted.

“Hi,” I responded as I walked slowly towards him. I was instantly pulled into his arms when I reached him.

“I’m so sorry. I had no idea she would have shown up at your hotel and cause such a scene. This is all my fault,” he said to me.

“Please don’t put this all on you. I should have left when I had to and I shouldn’t have sle-pt with you and I shouldn’t have…” I was going on hysterically until he cu-pp-ed my face with his palms to stop the tears that I didn’t even know were coming.

I looked into his eyes and he ki-ssed me, ha-rd, on my li-ps. He pulled me even closer I was was sure not even the wind could get between us. His hands acted like a pair of shields around me and I indeed left protect from the world and everyone in it.

“There’s something about you that drives me crazy whenever you’re near.” He broke the ki-ss and put a handful of my hair behind my ear. He ki-ssed my forehead next and I la-id my head against his steel che-st.

“Sebastian, I would have to let you go,” I said and my heart felt like it was ripping into two, “un-derstand that I don’t want to, but I have to.”

“I un-derstand. Let’s just enjoy this moment together.”

_________

The wedding day had finally arrived. I had cut off all communications with Sebastian ever since our last encounter at his favorite sp-ot and I had made my mind up to return back home very soon without him knowing anything about it.

The wedding was being broadcast live on television and although I didn’t want to see it throu-gh, I had Gen next to me so we watched on together.

Princess Naomi walked down the aisle of a chapel by herself. Her white dress flowed beautifully as she walked on. A princess indeed. The camera was fixed on her and only her until she reached the alter and faced Sebastian.

My heart squee-zed against my che-st and my eyes flooded up with tears yet again, for him, only him.

The chapel was filled with people who resemble pure royals and they looked on eagerly as the Priest begun speaking.

______

“We should have crashed that wedding!” Gen shouted and threw a popcorn at the television.

“And get arrested?” I asked as I took a handful of her big bowl of popcorn.

“It would have been worth it, Em. SSHHH! It’s time for the ‘I Do’s’ pa-rt!”

“I wasn’t even talking. You’re the one talking,” I answered with a laugh.

“SSSHHHH!” she hissed again and I threw a popcorn at her this time, trying to get myself distracted from the pa-rt of the wedding I was dreading the most.

“I can’t watch this!” I let out with a cry and ran into my be-droom, leaving Gen in the living room by herself.

“Emily! come back!”

“NO! I CAN’T WATCH IT GEN! LEAVE ME ALONE PLEASE!” I cudd-led myself up in the be-d with my pillows but the sound of the television was clear.

“Do you Prince Sebastian, take Princess Naomi as your wife? Do you promise to love and cherish and be forever by her throu-ghsickness and heath until death do you apa-rt?”

“Emily! Get out here! something is happening!” I heard Gen called and I peeled myself up and out of the room.

“What’s going on?” I asked her.

“Look Look Look, he’s shaking his head instead of answering.”

I looked at the screen and Sebastian was now whispering to the Priest. Princess Naomi had a fake smile on her face as she stood still, and after twenty more seconds, Sebastian walked out of the wedding chapel.
