Chapter Ten
Scarlett slowly opened her eyes and felt a sharp headache, she looked around and noticed val who was slee-ping beside her
She gently moved her hand and that alone made Valerie woke up
“scar you are awake, my goodness you are awake ” val said as she tried holding her hand but she moved away
Scarlet let the tears rolled off her eyes, she has destroyed herself
Just for one night her life have been ruined
Her mom! Her mom!!
She has failed her mother.
She should have just gone home and told her mum, all this wouldn’t have happened if she had gone home
“scarlett” Valerie called but she looked away
“plea-se leave” she replied to staring at val
“but………………………….. ”
“I said leave! Get out” she barked, Valerie nodded slowly and left

ONE WEEK LATER..
Scarlett stared at the result in her hand feeling scared, she didn’t want to go into another trauma again yet she had to know, a week ago the doctor has counselled her on the nee-d to take the HIV test both then and another one about six months later. This was to ensure that she did not have HIV before the r@p£ and also to know if she didn’t contact it from the guy that r@p£ her
Strange as it might seem, she has summoned courage to do the HIV test
She slowly opened the paper and re-ad
“it’s negative, it’s negative, I’m HIV NEGATIVE ” she screamed feeling better
“my goodness it’s negative ” she mumbled letting the tears fall, and for a very long time she placed a call to her mum
“mummy” she called immediately she heard her mum voice
“oh my God scarlet! Is that really you” her mum said
“yes mum ” she replied
“what happened baby, it’s been two good weeks and I haven’t heard from you but not without trying to reach out ” her mother uttered
“I’m sorry mummy, it’s school burden and also I misplaced my cellphone ” she lied
That was the first time she had lie to her mum ma-king her feel awkward about it, but she got no choice
Her mum will be devastated and she does want that
“so sorry baby, I have missed you a lot, I was so scared if something had happened ” she said
“no mum, I’m doing fine over here” she said shutting her eyes
“good to know, hope you remember all I told you” she said
“yes mother and I promise to make you proud ” Scarlett replied trying to not bur-st into tears
“I got to go mum, I have lectures now, love you “she said and hang up not without her mother telling her she loved her more
She slowly falls to the be-d
“it’s time to start a new life scar, let it go” she consoled herself
Chapter Eleven
Scarlett picked up her bag re-ady for lectures, the door opened and Valerie walked in
“we nee-d to talk ” val said
“trust me there’s nothing to talk about ” Scarlett replied as she made her way to go just to be st©p by Valerie
“common scar, I know you are mad at me but plea-se hear me out, you can’t possibly cast me out” val said
“really?? Haven’t you done enough, you ruined my life, what more do you want ” scar uttered
“I’m sorry scar, but trust me I didn’t know how it happened, I didn’t know how you got to the h0tel, i swear” Valerie said
“say that to someone else not me” Scarlett replied
” Trust me scar, I didn’t do it, I didn’t set you everything happens so sudden and I couldn’t even figure anything out, believe me I have dropped you off at the hostel as you wish, I got a call from an unknown number that you were in the hospital and when I got there the doctor said you were r@p£, that’s all I know ” Valerie said
“st©p with the lies plea-se! Just st©p it” Scarlett said
“I have decided to move on, so let me be” she added and walked out

Max and Linda walked into the cafeteria, they placed their order at the counter
After handling the food to them, they both went to the cafeteria
“I can’t believe it Max, I’m having a show in North Korea next week ” Linda said
“They choose be for that show and the most exciting p@rt, everyone is waiting to take a picture with me, it’s it wow” she said and max just nodded
“well… Who wouldn’t, I mean I’m beautiful, and I want you max to be there with me, I want us to look like sort of couples and that alone will increase my fans” she grins wi-dely
“oh! How could I have forgotten, I nee-d to get a dress” she said
“what dress will fit me perfectly max” she asked but there was no respond, she looked up and stare at Max, he saw his gaze at something else
She followed his gaze and saw him staring at her
“Scarlett ” she whispered in anger
Why was max staring at her
“max! Max!! ” she called and max c@m£ back to reality as he’s moved his gaze at linda
“uhmm, mmm…..where you saying something ” he asked her and Linda just stared at him
“Excuse me” she said carrying her coffee and heading to where scar was at the cafeteria
“hey scar” she called
“it’s been a while” she said smiling softly
“how have you been ” she asked
“I’m fine “scar replied
“wow, I’m glad you had recovered ” she said and scar raised her eyebrow
“what do you mean ” scar asked
“oh I meant it’s glad seeing you again ” Linda sm-irked as she intentionally dropping the coffee on scarlet
“geez! Oh mine I’m sorry” she said trying to wipe off the coffee from her b©dy
“I’m sorry scar” she said looking around as student stared at them
“it’s fine” scar replied with a smile
“this is disgraceful and you know this shouldn’t be happening to someone that people think less off, I mean those that are traumatized from their r@p£” Linda added emphasizing the word r@p£ loudly
Scarlet felt her tears trying to fall, she didn’t want to break down in tears at their front, she slowly stared around and quic-kly ran out
Chapter twelve
Linda shoved her iPhone in her back pocket as she catwalk back to Max
“hey babe” she said trying to k!sshim but he moved away
“why did you do that?? ” max asked and Linda just rolled her eyes
“Do what” she asked
“don’t fv¢king pl@ydumb with me, you definitely know what I’m talking about ” he said
“really now, are we seriously going to talk about that” Linda asked
“that wasn’t right ” Max said feeling guilty
“And when does Max Holloway started caring about others, what have gotten into you Maxwell ” she said
“Anyway we still nee-d to go to the mall, you know I nee-d to get a dress ” she said flir-ting with him but he pushed her away
“just st©p it, st©p it alre-ady, I nee-d to get a dress! I nee-d to make my hair, I nee-d you to go with me for acting!! I’m sick of hearing it linda” he yelled which got Linda scared
“you know what, enjoy your lunch ” he said picking up his car keys and left the cafeteria
“Argh!!!!!!” Linda screamed throwing off her food
She looked around and saw the student staring at her
“and what are you guys staring out” she roared and everyone quic-kly looked away

Scarlett sat at the park staring at the people who was doing one thing or the other, the burden was took much but she didn’t have anyone to share it with
Life have been cruel to her, they have times she got tired of living but she have given her promise to her mother
“hey” someone called behind her, she recognized that voice and slowly she turned to see him
It was Max
“what are you doing here” she asked still staring at the people
He gently sat beside her and stare at the people too
“I c@m£ to see you” he said softly and scar gave a little smile,
If he had told her the first day she admired him, she would have believed, but after what happened to her, guys disgust her, they were an animal to her
If someone has told scar that max will be seated beside her and talking to her she wouldn’t have believed
The same max who told her that he hate people who f0rç£d themselves on him and now is seated beside her
Isn’t that great
“hmm scar, uhmm…. You are beautiful ” he said not knowing what to say or trying to start a conversation
Scar bur-st out laughing
Like seriously ” she thought
First it was Linda and now max, were they seriously trying to mock her
She stood up and stare at Max
“can you guys just leave me alone” she uttered in a angry tone and talking one look at him, she walked away
