With an intense look, Cynthia suddenly questioned Eric senior
“What do you want sir?”
“You already know…you know” Eric senior replied in a low tone
“Why do you want to marry a stranger, why are you helping me, you don’t even know me, or my story, or what I have been throu-gh, you know nothing about me, but you still went ahead and invested billions on me, this is not right, this is too much, I can’t marry you, I don’t want to,” Cynthia said calmly
“Why do I want to get married to a stranger? Hmm… I have thought of that too, I think it’s because you saved my son, and did you just ask why I’m helping you? He could see the shock and pain in Cynthia’s eyes, so he comforted her

“I hope so,” Cynthia said in disbelief
At the mention of Williams, Cynthia’s expression suddenly changed.
She wasn’t as bold as she was when she arrived.
Eric senior also noticed how gloomy Cynthia suddenly became.
So he invited her inside his mansion
But Cynthia declined
“It’s 8 pm already, I will be on my way, sir,” Cynthia said.
Even though they had a lot to talk about, Cynthia decided to go back home.
“I will take you home” Eric senior offered Cynthia declined at first but he insisted, She hesitated for a while before she accepted, by now she knew that Eric senior doesn’t take “no” for an answer.
Soon, Eric senior was sighted behind the steering wheel, driving Cynthia back home.
Even though Eric Senior had never driven himself for 5 years, he still offered to become Cynthia’s driver for the night.
He only wanted to get close to Cynthia, because he would have ordered his driver to take Cynthia home but instead, he drove her home by himself
Inside the car, they were silent for a while before Eric senior decided to speak.
“I see you don’t want to hear the name of your ex being mentioned around you, why is that, what exactly happened?” Eric senior asked.
” All I want is for Williams to pay for all the wrong he has done to me. He broke my heart completely.. I caught him proposing to his girlfriend at the same restaurant where he took me on a date, the same girl he now married, why did he lead me on when he has someone else, he played with my emotions and used me for my money, if not for the fact, that I forgot my Credit card that day with the waitress, by now Williams would still be playing me, I wouldn’t have known he was a player who had someone else he intended to marry, I called him the next day, hoping he will be remorseful and apologize but he wasn’t remorseful at all, he was so full of himself, so proud of what he had done, he called me a fool, a naive idiot and he told me that he was only playing me the whole time, he said I was gullible, and that no one will love me or stay committed to me, that my parents couldn’t love me, how could he love me and no one will ever want or love me”
“Oh really? He said all that, what a je-rk, I promise you, that I will get back at him for your sake, and he will return every penny, he took from you, including the house” Eric said confidently and Cynthia smiled within.
No wonder, when Eric senior dropped her off, she didn’t only thank him with words, she unconsciously hu-gged him and Eric smiled.
When Cynthia realized what she did, she quickly disengaged from the hu-g.
Afterward, she bid him goodbye and she went inside.
“Cynthia marry me, you will never regret it, I will make you, the most powerful woman around here, and no one would bully or abuse you ever again, I want you to be my son’s new mother…my son likes you a lot, “Eric thought as he reversed his car and he saw that Cynthia had disappeared into the building. Cynthia at the same time wondered if Eric senior could be trusted. But with time she noticed that he was reliable and powerful.

On the other hand, Edith abandoned Williams when she found out that he lost everything. She divorced him and moved back to her parent’s house, Edith’s parents had always kicked against their union, so when all this happened, they were able to convince their daughter to leave Williams, and this time she obeyed.
The god of wealth and affluence, Eric senior, did not only help Cynthia regain all she lost, but he also made her popular and wealthy. She won many international filming deals and many awards, being the highest shareholder of a successful Entertainment company like Lucky Star entertainment company, she got millions paid into her bank account every now or then.
Cynthia has become so popular, that her stepsister, Amber couldn’t help but be more envious of her. Ever since their father became ill, Amber was put in charge of everything. With the power, she now has,

In no time, Amber began her scheming, too bad Cynthia who never saw all this coming fell into his wicked sister’s plot.
She was out in a public place, a restaurant to be precise when a young man, walked closer to where she sat. The man introduced himself and claimed he was her biggest fan, afterward he hu-gged Cynthia and she accepted to be hu-gged, and as planned pictures were taken and the next day.
Cynthia who had grown so popular was found in a terrible scandal.
She was accused of sleeping with directors and married wealthy men, all for fame.
She was also tagged “The Daughter Of A Mistress”
Her fans bashed her online and people who hated her for no reason rejoiced and celebrated.

With the Situation on the ground, Eric Moore senior flew her abroad as he handled the situation personally.
Even though they had not been intimate, Eric Moore senior knew that Cynthia was a Vir-gin and she can’t possibly sleep with anyone for fame, when she has him.
He began to look for ways to handle the scandal and clear Cynthia’s name and image.
He decided to visit Cynthia’s Parents when he found out that Amber was behind the scandal.
A week before the scandal began, Cynthia had finally agreed to marry him and this scandal was the only thing that was stopping their wedding from taking place
So one day, Eric Moore Senior flew to Lagos on one of his private jets and his team of bodyguards drove him to Mr. Stephen’s house.
When he arrived, he introduced himself as Cynthia’s Fiance.
At the mention of her daughter’s name, Mrs. Felicia invited her into the house.
She had thought the young man came with her daughter, but Eric senior told him he was alone.
Mrs. Felicia brou-ght in a very weak Mr. Stephen into the living room, so he would meet the man that claimed he was their daughter’s Fiancee
But one good stare at the young man, Mr. Stephen said ” Eric… How is your father?”
And Eric Moore senior was shocked.
He couldn’t un-derstand how Mr. Stephen knew his name.
“My father? Do you know my father” Eric senior asked at once?
