Episode 24

Leon looked at Rose in surprise.
“Sir this is Rose……”
“What are you doing here?” Leon asked.
“Oh you two know each other?” the man asked.
“Yes we are old friends” said Rose. Seeing Leon’s dark aura the man excuse himself out of the office.
“Rose why are you here?” he asked
“Leonel or should I say Boss….. am your new personal secretary…….”
“Rose….I thought I made it cl……”
“Let’s be friends……am here for friendship… nothing more” she said
“Rose…..”
“Mr. Leonel Mavis….let’s put the past behind….I look forward to working with you” she said extending her hands for a hand shake and Leon smiled and accept it.
“Let’s be good friends” he said.
I was walking to and fro the mansion.
“He will never forgive me……what do I do….his not picking his calls….I only did that so I can get Jolene to tell me about my parents……”
“Madam calm down”
“No Susan……I can’t calm down….his phone is not connecting and……”
“Sir is at the office….he’ll be working overnight from today and…..you won’t get to see him” she said
“For how long?” I asked
“I don’t know”
“But I have to talk to him…it’s urgent….I……oh God……”
“Madam…..go eat lunch first……”
“Am not hungry……I have to go somewhere…..”
“Madam…..were are you going….” Noah walked in. He has been leaning on the door.
“Nevermind am going alone……” I said
“No am coming with you…..I’d only let you go alone if you want Mr. Leon to kill me” he said.
“Ok….fine …..but put on something simple…I don’t want you to look like a guard” I said and he nodded and ran upstairs.
“Madam were are you going?”
“To the hospital” I said
“What?, are you hurt???” she asked but I didn’t answer.
Noah drove me to a old hospital.
“We are here” he said. I got down from the car. I hold the file ti-ght on my che-st and took a de-ep.
“I have to find my parents….” I said and walk into the building with Noah.
We saw a nurse.
“Ehmm ….. excuse me…..can……”
“Am sorry am busy…..” she said and left. I kept running towards many nurses and doctors but they gave me no attention.
“Madam, allow me” Noah said.
Noah walk up to a nurse.
“Hi….”
“Sorry am really…..”
“Shhh…..” he place his hands on her li-ps and smiled. “A beautiful woman like you don’t have to be busy….you don’t have time for a ugly boy like me” he said and the girl chuckled.
“Look young man am really busy…..I”
“I can kidnap you now and tie you up in my room …..l….” he li-p drew closer to her and ki-ssed her. I was shocked.
“That’s my sister over there” he said pointing at me I quickly waved “We nee-d to know about a DNA test which was run about 19 years ago or so” he said
“Oh then you have to go to ******** hospital all our experience doctors from years ago now work there……so….can I have your number?” she asked.
“I thought you were busy?” Noah asked
“Well….not busy if it’s you” she said.
“Sorry but I have girls who are easy to get… goodbye miss busy nurse” he said and walk up to me. “After you madam” he said.
“How could you play with someone like that??” I yelled
“Madam…..I was only trying to get information from her!” he said
“By playing her…… that’s not right…..it’s bad to play with someone feelings like that!” I said.
“Maybe you should say that to your husband!!!!” he yelled but quickly said “am sorry madam….I was out of control……am sorry” he said.
“How dare you?” I said
“I know you’re clinging unto Leonel because of his identity….but Gem if you dare use him and live like rose did, I promise I’ll find you and end you” he said and I landed a slap on his cheeks. His face was really strong. my hands hurt because of the slap.
“You disgust me!!!” I said and walk away……I could hear him calling me but I hauled a taxi. He was driving behind me. I got to the hospital in no time. Only famous and rich people has what it takes to attend the hospital for a treatment or check up.
Noah walk up to me
“You can live now…..I don’t nee-d you” I said and his face was sad…. really sad….
“Am diagnosed for a mental illness……I….I don’t have anger control….am sorry…..but Leon suffered too much because of that Rose and I put the anger on you….I…..”
“It’s okay…….I un-derstand….am sorry too for hitting you…..I….”
“No madam I deserve it…..am truly sorry” he said.
“Let’s go in…..” I said and he nodded.
We walked into the big hospital towards the checkpoint.
“Good evening” I greeted the lady at the desk
“Yes???” she said rudely.
“Am here to……”
“You appointment?” she didn’t even let me finish.
“uhm…. appointment?, I only want to….”
“Please if you don’t have one you can get lost” she said
“Miss… please….let me….”
“Don’t let me call the guards on you…..get lost….” she yelled.
“How dare you yelled at her?” Noah stormed. Just then countless bodyguards surround us with guns pointing at us.
Leon came home that evening, his heart couldn’t ba-re to stay away from his kitten. He was holding a baguette of flowers.
“Sir you’re back early” said Susan
“Yes…..am my wife?” he asked immediately.
“She’s not home” she said
“Where did she go?” he asked.
“She went to the hospital”
“WHAT!!!!, what happened to her was she hurt, did she get hurt in the set…..why didn’t you call me!!!???” he yelled.
“Am sorry sir….but your phone was turned off” she shiver in fear. Leon slam his hands on the wall.
“And Noah?”
“He left with her”
“Good….track there were about ….and send it to me in 1 minutes” he said and Susan nodded.
Leon entered his car, took the wheel as he drive out of the compound in full speed, countless of cars ran after his.
“Sir I track them down….she’s in ******** hospital, with Noah”
Leon wanted to just disappear to her side. Was she that hurt to be taken to one of his best hospital???,
“Damn Leonel….look what you temper caused you …..” he yelled at himself…………….TBC

Noah gave the men a dagger look.
“Do you know who you are dealing with?” he asked.
“Please….I just want to confirm this results just let me in” I pleaded.
“Guards please throw them out….they are not worth our time” she said and the guards grab my hand.
“Let her go…don’t you touch her” Noah yelled trying to move but the men bounce on him and beat him up.
“No you can’t do that…..” I yelled but the lady walk up to me and slap me face.
“Get lost…..trash like you don’t belong here” she said.
Just then countless of expensive cars drove into the hospital. I walk out to Noah and pulled him up to his feet.
“Are you okay?” I asked. And his eyes seems to be fixed on something.
“S…s..sir Leonel….” he said and I could see fear in his eyes. I turn around and saw Leon. His face was as cold and ice.
Leon was so angry when he saw Noah’s hand around Gem’s shoulders.
The lady from earlier saw Leon and walk up to him.
“Mr. President…..you’re here…..hehehe….don’t mind the trash here…I’ll clean the mess up very soon……what are you waiting for drag them out” she yelled.
Leon gaze were fixed on us. Noah’s remove his hands from my shoulders and walk up to Leon.
“Sir….I…..” a punch landed on his face…..Noah fell down, blood gnashing out of his mouth. This scare me a lot. Leon gaze fell on me again. He started walking towards me. The closer he came the softer his face become. When he was close enough his face look worried. He caress my cheek and saw it was red, his face darkened again.
“Who did this?” he asked. There is no way am telling him and he knows I wasn’t going to tell him. He hu-gged me and suddenly carried me into the car. “Stay here….I’ll be back” his voice was calm but carry a hint of fire..
“D… don’t…..don’t hurt anyone please” I said.
“They hurt my kitten….they won’t go free” he said with a hash voice.
“Leon please….. hubby… please” I said.
Hearing her call him hubby made his heart flutter.
“okay….just wait here” he said and ki-ssed my head. He whispered something to one of his men and turn to Noah.
“I’ll deal with you later” he said and entered the car.
Jolene was angry.
“Mommy….it’s not working….he won’t give me any face” she yelled
“That fake results you gave Gem…..ha…that was fun”
“Mom stop joking….”
“What are you lady’s up to”
“Dad you’re here……”
“Yes….uhmm…baby you look worried… everything okay?”
“Yes daddy am fine” she said
“Your fiance will be coming back from England today…you should go wait for him at the airport”
“ok dad”.
“Mommy what do we do now?” she asked.
“We both know that Gem have feelings for Ryan…..”
“Mom what do you mean. I love Ryan…I won’t break up with him”
“Shut up….don’t compare Ryan with Leonel….we have to push Ryan to Gem so you can have Leonel. Imagine if Gem marries Leonel Mavis…we are doom…But if you marry him…the whole world would be yours” she said
Jolene smiled.
We got home and I took my shower first. When Leon was in the shower I was planning on how to apologise and explain to him.
“Leon…am sorry for what I did…I mean….I…, no no no that’s too plain” “Hubby….am so so sorry can you forgive your little wife…..no that too s-×y” “Leonel Mavis…..forgive me ….that’s too harsh…”
“Actually I like the s-×y one” I heard Leon said from the back….
“Leon….I….”
“Hubby…I said I like the s-×y one” he said and walk closer to me. He was in his robe but his che-st was a bit exp-ose.
“Hubby…am…am sorry….”
“Why did you do that?” he said and my eyes were fixed to that shinning..
“I…uhmm before I explain can you put a shirt on”
“Why…you can handle my s-×y body?” he asked and took the robe off. He is body was exp-ose, that’s not even if he was completely nak-ed.
“Jesus… Leon!!!” I yelled and covered my eyes.
“Hahaha…. you’re so cute when you’re shy” he said.
“Leon stop…you want to make my nose bleed” I said.
“Am your husband…why can’t I go nak-ed in front of my wife? so you were say?” he asked.
“Fine…you think am shy?, let’s see” I said and uncover my eyes. I tried and hold myself
“So…I….I…was… saying…uhmm….”
“Saying I should ki-ss you?”
“Yes….I mean no…. Leon stop teasing me….I was saying….. Jolene….she….m….made…a…a… Jesus…..”
“Jolene made Jesus?” he asked.
“No…. Leon….” I was not myself. He drew closer to me and I step backwards.
“Come on kitten don’t be shy” he said.
“Leon stop….” I said but he kept come. “Am….am a V¡rgin” I said
“Am your husband” he said and push me to the wall.
“You know kitten I have to punish you a bit…. though I really want to spoil you but your being over spoilt…..you can’t just anger me like that….and you even went further to let another man touch your shoulders”
“Why?, are you jealous?” I asked.
“Yes…..maybe I should change all your bodyguard to female…that’s make me less worried”
A knock hit the door………
“Sir….your grandma is here”…
