Leon was shocked….why was Rose grandmother doing here.
He looked at Gem.
“Am coming…. we’ll talk later” he said and hurried away saying to the guard “Let her in”.
I waited for hours but he was still not here, I saw Susan, holding three cu-p of tea…. towards the living room.
“Who are you taking those to?” I asked and she bow at me before saying.
“The Masters guest” she said about to walk away.
“Wait…let me do that” I said and collected the tray from her before she could object.
“Madam….no…let me do it…you…you can’t go in there….you can’t see the guest…..” she said and drag me. I fell down pouring the tea on my body….thank God it wasn’t hot.
“Madam..am….am……”
“Why can’t I see the guest???…., don’t you dare stop me again” I said and stood up from the ground matching towards the living room.
Leon and Rose sat in on sofa….Rose hock her hands round Leon’s folded hands.
After the old Mrs came to visit Leon, Rose begged him to play like they were still engaged because the old woman have heart problem….if she knew about their breakup….she might be shock.
“So…..you two have been engaged for 5years now…..how do you plan on your wedding?” she asked.
“We……”
“We plan on getting married few months from now” Rose cut in
“Good good……see how you too look good together….be quick and get married so you can give me great grandchildren, right Leonel?” she asked and Leon nodded forcing a smile.
“Honey…..we are spending a night here” Rose said
“What…..!!!!” Leon yelled.
“Yes Leonel but don’t worry about me…I’ll just be in the guest room you two can have fun” she said and stood up.
“Please lead her to her room” Leon said to his guard. After the woman left Leon remove his hands from Rose.
“What’s all these???, why are you here.. !!!” he yelled.
“Keep your voice down Leonel, do you want Granny to know?” she said, Leon rolled his eyes and his eyes landed on Gem…….her face was w£t….she was crying.
“Gem…..!!!” he said and walk towards her. “Gem….why are you here???, what happened….why are your clothes messy…. Kitten???” he said.
“You’re so fake” I said.
“Look it’s not what you think…..”
“It’s not always what I think because you kept on fooling me….am tired….it’s not too late….. goodbye Mr Mavis” I said but his hands grab me and he carried me on his bold shoulders…..

“Be still kitten stop been wild……” he yelled and drop me on his bed. He used his knee to pin my legs and use one of his hands to pin both my hands above my head.
“Let me go….!!!” I yelled.
“Why are you being like this….. don’t you trust me???” he yelled back.
“NO!!!!!” I yelled. Leon was hurt by her words but he won’t give up…..he knows he was hurting her more with his actions.
“Gem I LOVE YOU!!!!!” he yelled
“How can I believe that???” I asked still crying. Leon pinned my hands ha-rder and I whine in pains.
“Fine….let me prove it to you” he said and ki-ss like brush mine with a fierce ki-ss. The ki-ss mas rou-ghas his tongue entered my mouth, tasting every inch of my mouth. Leon drag back and we both began to pa-nt for air.
“Kitten calm down..,….that’s rose grandmother…she. .she play an important part in my life. I won’t dare hurt her…..”

“I know….so don’t feel like am hiding you from the world…..” he said
“I don’t know what to believe anymore” I said. He put his head on mine and his hot breath hit my face.

“Leonel……..” the door opened and it was Rose….I wanted to push Leon away but he pinned me down.
“Don’t you know how to knock???” he said. His voice was calm but carried hint of anger.
“Oh….am..am sorry….I….I’ll leave…..”
“No it’s okay…..I’ll leave you two to talk” I said but Leon won’t get off me.
“Rose wait outside please….am busy here” Leon said and Rose nodded giving me a smile.
“Leon get off me!!” I said
“No!!!” he yelled
“What??, No???, are you crazy?????, I think you’re a scam…..are you really Mavis Leonel????” I asked and he smiled
“I only show you this side of me….am I not sweet enough for you?” he asked.
“Leon….leg go of my wrist it hurts” I said and he let go of my hands. “I have a shot tomorrow morning…..I’ll leave early…..”
“I’ll go clean up the mess…. they’ll be gone before noon tomorrow…. okay?”
“Okay…..” he ki-ssed my head and left.
When he left I felt empty. I went down to spy on him. He was talking to Rose. Both of them were looking good together I admit. Making me feel like I don’t belong to Leonel…..I felt inferior…..Ro

I ruin both of them….they could’ve been happy if I didn’t come along.

Leon woke up and the space beside him was filled with a little figure.

We were preparing for our next scene, when Jolene came and grab my hands.

“Jolene?” I was surprised
“Oh your bodyguard is not here?”
“No he’s not” I said.
“Well…..ehmm….I nee-d your help” she said
“Oh what can I do for a goddess like you?” I asked feeling irritated
“Excuse us” she said to my team. They paid deaf ears.
“You can leave” I said to them.
“But Gem…..” Ruth protest
“I’ll be fine….don’t worry” I said and Ruth gave Jolene a dagger look and walk out.
“So you were saying???”
“I…..I….I like you bodyguard give him to me….I’ll pay you any amount you want” she said.
“Hahahah…..are you serious right now…..well if you are…it’s a no….I won’t…go die with your money”
“Gem you’re my sister…..look if you give him to me then I’ll….I’ll give you information about your real parents” she said. I was shocked.

“Don’t you wanna know who your real parents are?, I’ll tell you…if you’ll just set up a blind date for me and him…. please”
“How would I know you’re not lying to me?, I don’t trust you” I said.
“Here….I found this in dad’s room….it contains little information about your parents….I can bring you the full information if you so what I want” she said. I took the file and it was a DNA match results. My DNA matches with that of a man….name not recorded.
“Believe me” she said. I really want to know who I am.
“Okay….I’ll set a blind date for you and him….so what would you give me in return?” I asked she smile and said.
“The hospital the results were confirmed…I’ll tell you…you can go there and ask” she said. I took my phone and called Leon.
Leon hasn’t been to work for days so he had alot to do. He was really busy. He was on an international business call when his phone rang. He look at the caller and smiled warmly.
“Excuse me….I have to receive this call” he said.
“Kitten….. missing me already???” he asked.
“Mr.Leon…..sorry to disturb you in you day off…..but I have something important to discuss with you today”
“What’s that kitten?, are you okay?”
“Am fine….”
“Do you want me to come over?” he asked sounding worried.
“No…no don’t come over am fine…..do you have time later tonight?”
“Uhmmm yes I do (he doesn’t really have time he was so busy)”
“Okay let’s meet at the french restaurant by 8pm” I said
“I’ll be there……”
“Bye”
“Bye kit……” I ended the call.
“You have a date with him….now the deal?” I said and she handed me another file.
“The hospital is there….good luck….it’s nice doing business with you” she said and left.
After the scene I went home.
By 7pm Leon was already waiting for Gem at the restaurant. It was already 8pm, when a figure ru-b his shoulders.
“Gem….you….” he paused when he saw who is was. Jolene. His face darkened.
She was wearing a red dress which exp-ose her back, che-st and legs but Leon didn’t care. Why is Gem not here yet. He decided to call her not minding Jolene.
She sat down opposite him.
“She set up this date for us….you don’t have to call her” she said sipping her wine.
“What!!???” Leon yelled.
“I told her to set up a date for me and you, look Leon I like you….am every man’s dream woman so…….” she didn’t finish her words when Leon stood up and left in anger.

Leon got home
“were is Gem???” he asked looking angry.
“Madam is at the garden sir”
Leon walk to the garden
“Leon… you’re back…..”
“Gem what do you take me for…..how dare you trick me into a date with that slut……I left my business schedule to be with you only to be stuck with that thing!!!!!” he yelled, his anger was scaring me.
“L….Le… Leon….I!!!!!”
“What were you even thinking???, don’t you have a br@in???!!!” he yelled
“Can you just let me explain???” I said.
“Explain what?????, you think you can use me all you like???, Gem….ha!!!!!!???” he yelled and walk away……He didn’t even let me explain.
Leon went back to work that night. He didn’t sleep all throu-ghthe night. The next day he refresh in his office and continue to work.
“Sir …..the board have hired a new secretary for you” a man said
“Oh….let him in” Leon said, the effect of the fight he had with gem was affecting him. He switched his phone off….he was angry with her but his heart kept on scolding him….so he had mix emotions..
“Sir it’s a she not a him……, Miss Rosemary….. please come inside” the man yelled. Rosemary walk into the office and Leon was surprised…
