The Blue Love-Episode 35(BEN’S CONDITION)

JAJA’s Point Of View

“Ben, plea-se don’t leave me. God, help
him.”

The ambulance responded immediately and
the nurses carried Ben in it. I hop in the
ambulance. I want to be with Ben and
make sure he’s breathing until we reach
the hospital.

I quic-kly called Dad and Momsh to seek for
help. I couldn’t handle Ben’s condition
alone.

“Dad, I nee-d your help. I don’t know what’s
happening to Ben. He lost his conscious
and we are on our way to the hospital.”

“Alright, just give me the name of the
hospital and I’ll be right there.”

I ended the call and look at Ben. He don’t
have any wounds but he fainted. I am still
in panic that’s why nurses on the
ambulance injected me a sedatives.

Ben was delivered on the emergency room.
Both Dad and Momsh had come. They are in
panic too.

“What happened to dear Ben?” Momsh
asked.

“I don’t know, Momsh. Uncle tried to
kidnap me and but fight him. I was just
gone for a short moment to call for a help.
And then we saw him lying on the ground
screaming his pain.”

“This is what I am saying. Ben did not listen
to the doctor’s advice and very determined
to not do the surgery,” Dad said,
disappointedly.

I look at him. “Surgery? What do you mean
surgery, Dad?”

Dad look at me, surprised and confused.

“Ben didn’t told you about it?”

“Tell about what, Dad? He didn’t said
anything about the check up. He just said
that the check up is good, nothing else.”

“Ben have a serious problem, Jaja.”

“Heart, me and Dad are concern about your
condition, plea-se don’t make it bad.”

I sighed and look straight into her eyes. “I

am just afraid to know what’s my
condition.”

“I am here. Don’t be afraid, heart. We are
here to support you whatever condition
you have.”

I was frightened to what I have done to
Jaja. I’ve hurt her because I lost control. I
couldn’t forgive myself if I hurt her again.

My sanity returned when I saw her crying
and begging to believe her. I do believe
her. It was just my mind doesn’t act with
my b©dy movements. I couldn’t control
myself.

We enter the Doctor’s office, the one who
did the check up and responsible for
scanning my b©dy. He sit on his swivel
chair and he’s holding an envelope.

“Mr. Alvarez, this is the result of MRI we
have done.” He took out the black thing
from the envelope. “You have a Intracranial
Neoplasm.”

“What do you mean with that?” Dad asked.

The Doctor showed us the picture on it.

“You have a br@in tumor, Mr. Alvarez. This
medium sized circular white dot is a tumor
on your br@in. It is malignant. This size is
very dangerous based on the symptoms
you are feeling right now. You have a
change in pattern of headaches that
become more severe. You also have an
unexplained nausea or vomiting. You also
said that you suffered from a sudden
blurred vision, difficulty of balancing
yourself. Your behavior is also suddenly
changing. And the very worst case here is
you’re experiencing a retrograde amnesia
that sometimes you lose control and
forgot things.”

Stunned. This is what I am talking about. I
don’t want to have a check up because I
know I am sick, dangerous ill.
“Doc, can this be cured?” Dad asked.

“Couldn’t be cured but we can re-move it.

Chemothera-py is no use, it would just slow
the growth of the tumor but it can’t kill it.

You nee-d to un-dergo on a br@in surgery,
Mr. Alvarez.”

“Doc, if ever we did the surgery, is there a
possibility that I’m going to lose my
memory?” I asked.

“Yes. br@in surgery is fatal but we can
as-sure you that you’re gonna live. The
problem here is there is a possibility that’s
you’ll suffer from an anterograde amnesia.

You’re gonna have a difficulties in
remembering your previous memories.”

I look at Dad. “I don’t want to do the
surgery. I don’t want to forget Jaja, Dad. I
don’t.”

“Don’t worry, Mr. Alvarez. You’ll un-dergo
into a thera-py after the br@in surgery and
we’ll help you regain the lost memories if
ever you suffered from an amnesia.”

“Still, I don’t like to un-dergo on a surgery.

Just give me medicines that can slow this
fv¢king tumor in my br@in.”

Dad hold my hand and kept me calm.

“Alright, Doc, just give us a prescription.”

“If ever you couldn’t handle the pain
anymore, you must un-dergo on a br@in
surgery before it kills you, Mr. Alvarez.”

JAJA’s Point Of View

Unbelievable.
I couldn’t accept the truth. That’s why Ben
has been acting strange. It is because he
have a br@in tumor that affects his
behavior and memory. Everything he had
weirdly done has been answered.
Ben! You’re unfair. I told you that I am here
and re-ady to support you for every
problem you’re gonna encounter. But you
still faced it alone.

I felt my knees weaken because of the
news I heard. I couldn’t hold my tears any
longer. Pain and sadness filled my heart.

Ben is sick yet I don’t know what is it. I
should be angry at him for keeping the
truth as secret from me. I should have
cared him more. And now Ben is on a fatal
situation.

“Doc, how is my son?” Dad asked the
doctor that got out from the ER.
“We nee-d to do the surgery, Sir. Your son’s
life is in danger now and we couldn’t save
him if we haven’t re-moved the tumor on
his br@in immediately,” the doctor said.

“But, Doc, can you as-sure to us that he’ll
live?” I asked.

“We can’t promise you that, lady. But we
will do our outmost best to keep him
alive.”

I hold the Doctor’s hand. “plea-se, do
everything to save him.”

The Doctor nod and quic-kly moved. Dad
hold my hand.

“Are you sure you want to do it? There’s a
possibility that he’ll forget you,” he said.

I smiled. “Just to see him alive is enough,
Dad. If he don’t remember me, then I’ll

make him remember me.”

The Blue Love-Episode 36(We didn’t make it)

JAJA’s Point Of View
.
I drink the coffee that Momsh gave to me.

We are sitting on the waiting area beside
the Operating Room. Ben’s surgery is still
on going. It’s been four hours since he was
entered in the OR.
I am still in the middle of un-derstanding
everything. I still can’t believe and accept
the current situation. But I nee-d to be
strong for Ben. I sighed. I just wish that
Ben could survive without losing a
memory.

“Momsh, what if he can’t make it?”

“Ben is strong, darling. He can make it. He’ll
fight for you. Just keep on faith with Him.”

Momsh hvgged me.

“That’s right, Jaja. And Ben is going to
propose a wedding to you. He should fight
or else he can’t share the rest of his life
with you.”

I bite my lowerl-ip. I feel the heat in my
eyes. I saw Auntie Fely running towards us.

She’s wearing a robe, seems she’s on her
sweet slee-ping when Dad called her.

“Oh God! Honey, what happened to Ben?”

Auntie Fely asked as she approached us.

“Ben is on the Operation Room. Doctors
nee-d to re-move the tumor on his br@in,”

Dad answered.

Auntie Fely’s gaze fell on me. She quic-kly
walk near me and hvg me.
“Are you okay?”

I shook my head. “I’m afraid, Auntie Fely.”

“Don’t be. Ben would be alright.”

“What happened to my son?!”

Our gaze switched to Ben’s Mum. She’s
with Ginny and Olga.

“D*mn! The three bit-ches are here,” said
by Auntie Fely.

Ben’s Mum look at me and her concern face
change into angry.

“You! What have you done to my son?! You
witch!” Ben’s Mum was about to fight me
when Dad st©p her.

“For pity’s sake, Vina, be ashamed!” Dad
shouted. “Before venting your anger to
someone, know first what really happened!
Use your br@in, d*mn it!”

Dad is really angry. I noticed that Ginny is
quiet since they got here but she’s staring
at me like she wants to kill me. Even Olga,
the shameless Olga, is looking at me like I
was cursed.

“Ben have a br@in tumor and he nee-ds to
un-dergo on a br@in surgery. Now, you
should thank Jaja because if it wasn’t
because of her, Ben is dead now,” Dad said
to Vina, Ben’s Mum.

“Oh my God! My son! It can’t be! Why my
son?” Vina cried. Seems she didn’t know
that real condition of Ben, she just know
that her son is sick. It was just not me who
had been kept a secret, even his Mum. Vina
fainted out because of shock.

They admitted Ben’s Mum right here in the
hospital for she had suffered from nervous
break down.

We’ve waited for another four hours until
the doctor come out from the Operating
Room. Everything around bec@mÂŁ slow
motion. My heartbeat bec@mÂŁ louder and
louder until it was the only sound I can
hear.

I closed my eyes and sighed a few times to
ease my nervous. My cold hand is shaking
and my knee bec@m£ weak and weak. It’s
like I am slowly bec@mÂŁ numb. I shook my
head to bring back my s-en-ses.
“Doc, how is my son?” Dad asked.
I gulped and hold my breath.
plea-se, God, let Ben be alive. plea-se. Momsh
hold my hand and smiled at me to ease my
tension.

“I’m sorry, Mr. Alvarez, we didn’t make it…”

ban-g!
My heart skipped a beat when I heard the
doctor. My hearing s-en-ses had been
disabled and the high pitch beep sound
was only the thing I am hearing. My b©dy
was stunned.

Oh God! Why?! I fainted when I couldn’t
handle the pain anymore.
.
WARM SOFT be-d is really comfortable to
sleep at. It makes my sleep better. I felt
someone tou-ching my face. I m0@n ed as I
stretch my b©dy before opening my eyes.
Ben is smiling while staring at me. He’s
lying beside me, his head was on t©p of his
folded arm.

“Wake up, beautiful lady.” He k!ssme on
myl-ips. “I don’t want to forget you.”
I look at him, confused. “What are you
talking about, heart?”

He smiled, this time his smile is sad even
his eyes is in pain. “I’m sorry for not telling
you my condition, sweetie. I just don’t
want you to be included with my
problem.”

“But I am your girlfriend. You should share
everything to me. Let me know everything
you know. We are couple, we should fight
every challenges together. Don’t solo your
problem. We can make it.”

He rose up into sitting position. “We can’t
make it, sweetie.”

“What are you saying?!”

He faced me. “I’m leaving you, sweetie.”

I gulped. “Where are you going?” I know
what is he talking about.

“I am happy to meet you. You’ve
completed my life. I love you very much.”

“Where are you going? Answer me!” I
shouted.
He smiled while his tears are flowing down
to his cheeks. “I love you.”

He’s slowly fading. I cried as I hold his hand
ti-ghtly. “I love you, Ben. plea-se don’t leave
me.” I hvg him, afraid to lose him.
“Let me go, sweetie.”
“No! I won’t let you go. I’m going to fight
for you. Don’t leave me, plea-se. I beg you,”

I said between my cries.

“Sweetie..”

My tears didn’t st©p flowing. My heart is
aching because of his words.

“I said NO! Come back to me, plea-se! Fight
with me.”

“But, this is my time, sweetie.”

“No! It wasn’t your time to go up! It was
your time to wake up! You’re still going to
marry me!” I shouted.

He was silenced for a moment. “Then wake

me up, sweetie.”
