“How do you plan to convince Valerie to sign the company to you?” Attorney ask Sofia who stare at him for some seconds before she faced her phone.
“I’m not convincing her. Am taking the company from her. I know what I nee-ded to do alright so don’t worry.” She as-sured him.
“I’m starting to gain the board members trust and once that is done, they’ll sign all the shares to me without stress.” She said and the attorney nod his head.
Sofia has great plans against Valerie and she’s set to make her plans come to reality.

“Hi. Is Valerie home?” I ask Marga when I got into the house. She’s sitting on the couch staring at space but she did not give me an answer. It’s even as if she didn’t know I’m here.
Is she okay?
I walk close to her and tap her shoulder lightly and that’s when she snap out of it.
“Carl. Have you been there long?” She asked looking shock. To be honest, I admire Marga more than Ava and Valerie and maybe it’s cause she’s feisty and smart and Valerie is the complete opposite of her. Although we haven’t gotten a chance to talk heart to heart but she has been friendly.
“Are you Okay?” I ask her. She reply by nodding her head as a yes but I know she’s not telling the truth.
“I know we’re not really close as friends but I just want you to know that am re-ady to be friends with you. You can share your problems with me. Am a good guy.” I said and she smile at my joke. That’s a relief.
“Shouldn’t you be with Val right now.” She said and I went to sit down beside her on the couch but I made sure to give her some distance. I don’t want it to seem like am into her too.
“Speaking of her. I really don’t un-derstand her anymore but right now, I’m here for you.” I said and she stare at me for some seconds before chuckling.
“You really are a Badboy. Are you now flir-ting with me.”
“If that’s what you call me been showing concerned then that’s what it is.” I said to her and she went back to her mood again wearing those face.
“You know, I and Val had been friends since we were children and when she lost her parents I decided to stand by her no matter what and even Ava promised never to leave her side and that was why we did everything in our power to retrieve all of her inheritance from her father ” she said as tears were slowly rolling down her cheeks while I listen carefully.
“After we got the company and chased Sofia out of town we thought we’ve alre-ady won the battle but things are getting more complicated Carl.” She added.
“You mean you were the one who made Sofia leave town?” I asked her shocked at the realization that she’s a good friend indeed and she nod her head as a yes.
“Wow.” I exclaim and allow her continue.
“The truth is, Val never cared about the company or the mansion or any property her father left behind. She’s only concerned about her love life and this stupid guy Ralph! She’s loosing everything because of him and that was why I did what I did.” She said and start to cry.
Okay, I didn’t know about this p@rt of the story that Valerie has responsibility this hvge. I thought she’s just this ordinary girl that’s looking for love but then she has other things to pay more attention to and definitely not love. She shouldn’t even hire me in the first place.
She shouldn’t even be thinking about commitment.
“What did you do?” I ask her. She kept me quiet for some seconds before sniffing and raising her head to look at me.
“I forged Val’s signature when I sold off 20% of her shares to Sofia.”
“Why the hell will you even do that?!”
“What else should I have done Carl?, She was never re-ady to take the company seriously and it’s coll@psing right in my face. I had to do something.”
Maybe she’s right.
“Okay then but why are you crying?”
“Now that Sofia has the biggest share in the company she’ll make sure to take over everything. I’m afraid of what she’s planning Carl. I don’t want everything taken away from Val.” She said while I look confuse because I still don’t get the point of all these.
“Listen to me Carl, you have to talk to Val.”
“Huh? Why should I be the one to talk to her, am just her call boy nothing more. If she doesn’t listen to you what made you think she’ll listen to me.” I told her that it’s something I cannot do. I cannot get myself involved in all these drama knowing fully well that there’s nothing in for me. I don’t want to do it.
“plea-se Carl, let’s just give it a try. Who knows, she might listen to you this time. Tell her to leave Ralph alone and focus on her future.” She said in tears. I exhale and pick up the tissue box and stretch it to her. She pu-ll-ed out a tissue and use it to wipe her face.
“Let’s just hope she doesn’t bite me.” I said.

“Sorry I kept you waiting. I had to meet up with Ralph.” She said dropping her bag on the couch. I didn’t mean to wait for her after the long emotional conversation I had with Marga but she begged me to talk some s-en-se into Valerie maybe it will sink in and I hope it does but then here she is telling me that she’s just coming from the person who has been the cause of her problems.
“You really have to st©p seeing him.” Let’s begin the conversation that way and see how it goes. She stare at me for as long as she could then take a step closer.
“Okay….are you alre-ady falling in love with me?” She ask softly.
“Of course…” She place a f!nger on myl-ips.
“Shhhhhh…you don’t have to say a word. It’s normal for guys like you to like girls like me especially after knowing all the wealth I’ve inherited from my family.” She said sounding so arrogant.
“This has nothing to do with your money.” I state that out for her.
“Common Carl that’s thesame thing Ralph said and what did he do? He cheated on me after wasting my time but I am not giving up.” She said and I held her by the arm to bring her back to reality but she chuckled.
“You shouldn’t rou-gh handle me Carl. Am really going to give in anyway.” She said and I gave her a puzzled look. That look that says ‘what are you talking about?’
“I know you’ve been wanting to get down with me.” She said looking me in the eye and I had to look away because she’s right. I do want to get down with her but that’s not why we’re having this conversation right now. This is about her company not that.
She pressed her bøøbs against my che-st.
“Well, this is your chance Carl.” She said and bit her lowerl-ip.
“Ma’am, this is….”
“I can feel your di-ck getting ha-rd . It’s alright Carl.” She said and use her ton-gue to li-ck myl-ips and di-p her hand into my p@n-ts and held my man-hood. “This isn’t about that. This is about you and your inheritance.” I said and she sits up and made me face her.
“What are you talking about?”
“Sofia is planning something big and you nee-d to concentrate. I think you should st©p seeing Ralph and sign out from the deal you have with Elite Co.”
Why am I sounding so concerned about her?!
“And the money I’ve alre-ady paid to your organization?” She asked me.
“Ms. Laurel will refund you and if she doesn’t I will. Things are going to be bad for you if you don’t focus Valerie.” I said to her. Maybe am saying all these because Marga asked me to.
“Wait….. How did you know about Sofia and who gave you gave you that right to meddle in my business?!”
“Oh I see…. So just because I let you get down with me you think you can just say whatever you want to me?! Incase you’ve forgotten, I paid for your services and that includes s3x and I can do whatever I want with my life. Don’t you ever speak to me like that again. Now, get out.” She said and I stand up.
“Valerie am just…”
“And don’t you ever address me by my first name. Get the hell out of my room!” She yelled at me and I walk out.
