tem-pted To Fall*

(episode 5)

These days, it’s ha-rd to completely trust anyone because you don’t know who is plotting your downfall. This simple reason is why a lot of people have walls around their lives and also have a very ti-ght inner circle with few trusted people. Who would have thought that a trusted best friend like Dora would do a thing like that to a genuine and loving friend like Natasha. What was in Vincent’s b©dy that Dora couldn’t find elsewhere in another man? Why snatch your best friend’s husband when there are so many other man walking the surface of this earth that she could go after? It’s quite disheartening to realise that Dora didn’t hesitate to ruin her best friend’s home. Too bad!

That evening at the h0tel was going to determine the fate of Natasha’s marriage. If Vincent and Dora succeeded in having an affair, then we are sure that will be the downfall of Natasha’s marriage because Vincent will now have an alternative option and also something to compare his wife to; which I believe we all know how dangerous having a better alternative is.

As the atmosphere got thicker that evening, Dora was re-ady to devour Vincent than he was re-ady for her. After those words left the starved married man’sl-ips, she smiled and continued k!ss!nghim pas-sionately. As her succulentl-ips locked with his own, she began to re-move his clothes in haste. In no time, Vincent was r!pp£doff his clothes; remaining only his un-derwear. While Dora re-moved his clothes, he also re-moved hers and just as they were about to go completely n-ked, something we could call a ‘Miracle’ happened.

Immediately they were about to finally take off their un-derwear, a call c@m£ into Vincent’s phone. While the phone rang, he wanted to check who was calling but was too distracted to pay any attention to his phone. It was when it rang for the forth time that he was able to unlock hisl-ips from Dora’s own and locate the phone. One look at the caller and his heart dropped; it was no other person than ‘Wifey’.

Regardless of the fact that Vincent was highly engrossed in the affair he was having with his wife’s best friend, he was disciplined enough to not neglect his wife’s phone call. “You can’t pick that, come here because I haven’t even started with you” Dora said in a slightly pissed tone, “Just give me a second, let me discard her” he replied and immediately picked the call. “Hello” he coldly greeted, “Baby, where are you? It’s our son” Natasha said in a panicked tone. Her tone alone was enough to bring Vincent’s stray s-en-se back into his head because it sounded as if there was fire on the mountain.

At that moment, Vincent bec@m£ tensed and quic-kly sat up. “Why do you sound worried, what happened?” he nervously inquired, “It is our son, he has been running very high temperature since he got back from school and hasn’t been able to eat anything since then” Natasha soberly said. Immediately she said that, Vincent jumped up from where he sat and rushed to where his clothes la-id on the floor to pick them up. “I am coming home now so we can take him to the hospital. Dress him up so we don’t have to waste anytime when I get home” he said and ended the call.

Immediately the call ended, Vincent wore his clothes in haste and completely forgot that Dora was even there. The shame and disappointment on her face was beyond imaginable. “So you are just going to leave me hanging like this?” she shamelessly asked. Without hesitating, Vincent replied; “Yes I have to, my family nee-ds me” and zoomed off immediate afterwards, leaving the home wrecker there all alone.

It’s baffling how a person will choose to settle for a ‘Side Piece’ when they have all the potentials to be the centre of attention and the centre of their p@rtner’s heart. You see how no one can take the place of family in a person’s life? Why didn’t Dora’s motive prevail despite how thick the atmosphere was before Natasha’s call c@m£ in? How come all of a sudden, Vincent realised that his family c@m£ first and he was willing to let go of everything just to be there for his wife and son? With these being said, you might want to rethink before settling as a side piece to a married person or become a home wrecker.

With Vincent out of the h0tel room, Dora la-id back on the be-d and fell into de-ep thoughts. She was extremely hurt and felt stupid at that moment. “Such insult; I have suffered in his life because of love” she said and shook her head in disappointment.

While Dora wallowed in disappointment, Vincent was alre-ady halfway in his destination. In 20 minutes time, he arrived home and took his family to the hospital. Their son was admitted because he had high fever and nee-ded proper treatment. Due to that development, they all had to spend the night at the hospital.

All throu-gh that night, Vincent’s conscience kept judging him. Whenever he looked at Natasha, the guilt increa-sed. Dora didn’t help matters because she kept calling and he would decline the call. On seeing that the desperate lady wasn’t re-ady to back down, he switched off his phone so that Natasha wouldn’t suspect what was going on.

The next day, their son was discharged and they headed home. Vincent didn’t really communicate with his wife at the hospital and even as they drove home because he was dealing with his conscience. Despite the fact that he knew de-ep down that he broke his marriage vows to his wife and was probably feeling guilty, he still somehow missed his short lived r0m@nç£with Dora.

The fact that Vincent didn’t completely have his way with Dora made him feel like he was losing on both ends. Feeling guilty for something he didn’t really do, wors£ned the situation. At that point, he somehow began to realise that Natasha deserved more than being back stabbe-d by her husband and best friend. For some strange reasons, Vincent began to see the nee-d to retrace his steps and possibly never return to his sinful ways again.

Days pas-sed and the haras-sment from Dora continued. At random times, she would s£nd nûd£s to Vincent and it began to scare him because the chances of Natasha finding those nûd£s were high. He blocked her on two WhatsApp lines but the haras-sment never ceased.

The more Vincent drew away from Dora, the intense the haras-sment bec@m£. I believe this could have been the perfect time for him to come clean and reveal the dirty secret to his wife but he still kept everything all to himself.

Well, you know how they say every secret has an expiry d@t£? well so with this one. The bird was finally about to be let out of the cage without the owner’s knowledge. A thief could steal for a long time but would be caught one day. It was time for Natasha to find out the betrayals that had been going on behind her back. That fateful day finally c@m£ one evening.

It happened that Natasha was tidying the house one evening because that’s basically the only time she normally have to do some cleaning due to her ti-ght work schedules. At the time she c@m£ into her matrimonial room to tidy it up, Vincent was busy taking his bath and didn’t hear her come in.

As Natasha arranged the be-d, Vincent’s phone light c@m£ on as though his phone just finished ringing. Initially, she ignore the phone and was busy with her cleaning, but was later drawn to it after the light c@m£ on again.

Anxious to know who was calling, Natasha picked the phone up and realised that it was actually ringing but was on silent. She looked at the number that called but it had no name. Just as she was about to drop the phone back, it beeped. Still holding the phone, she anxiously looked to see what the message was all about because she has low-key been suspecting her husband of infidelity since he hadn’t t©uçhed her in a long while. Despite being suspicious, I believe she wasn’t re-ady for the shocker she was going to get that evening.

Immediately Natasha opened the message, she almost coll@psed when she saw two nûd£ pictures. The face of the s£nder didn’t show but her tattoo and the side of her face showed.

As Natasha stood there heartbroken with tears falling off her eyes, she kept looking at the tattoo as though she had seen it before. After about few seconds of refreshing her memory, it finally dammed on her where and in whose b©dy she had seen that tattoo.

Dumbfounded and highly shocked, she soberly muttered “Dora?”

tem-pted To Fall

(episode 6)

When a person genuinely loves and put their faith/trust in you but you pay that person back by betraying him/her in return, it actually just shows how unworthy and undeserving you are of their love and trust. Vincent and Dora’s betrayal to Natasha simply showed that they didn’t deserve her loyalty and love as a friend or wife. Most people might want to single ‘Vincent’ out of the whole drama because he didn’t actually get inti-mately involved with Dora; which is true, but why entertain something you don’t like or want to be a p@rt of? Why did he allow Dora to pl@yand mess with his mind for long when he could have just ended everything by telling Natasha the whole truth? It just goes far to show that he secretly enjoyed everything and would have had a piece of the ‘Home Wrecker’ if locked up in a room with her. Being indecisive is a decision and it’s apparent that Vincent made a choice to be haras-sed by Dora.. Period!

That fateful evening was probably the day God wanted to bring all their dirty deeds to light. It was time for innocent Natasha to be aware of what has been going on right un-der her nose. That day would make or break so many things in the life of the couple and all we can do is hope that no permanent damage is done. Coolval stories

As Natasha stood there dumbfounded and looking entirely confused, Vincent walked out of the shower just in time to see her looking shocked while holding his phone. Immediately he saw her like that, his heart dropped as he walked closer to her. “What’s it? Why do you look like someone who has seen a ghost and why are you holding my phone?” the confused man curiously inquired but no reply was forth coming.

The fact that Natasha looked lost as she silently muttered some words that Vincent couldn’t hear properly, got him very scared. He moved closer and tapped her shoulder in a bid to get her attention and that was when she finally spoke out. “So this is how you pay me back for everything I have done for you? Isn’t this Dora that I see her nûd£s on your phone? I might behave dumb but I sure know I aren’t stupid or blind. So you have not only been cheating on me but you decide to do it with my best friend? Vincent why?” Natasha soberly said as tears fell off her eyes.

On seeing that there was serious fire on the mountain, Vincent had to act fast just to cover up the story a little bit. “Babe I can explain, that isn’t Dora I swear” he lied but Natasha clearly wasn’t re-ady to believe his lying self. Without even trying to argue, she opened his phone and immediately dialed the number that s£nt the nûd£s.

As the phone rang, Vincent’s heart dropped because he was scared to the brim. He silently prayed all the prayers he knew how to pray, just for Dora not to pick up the call but ran out of luck this time around because the reverse was the case.

After ringing for a while, the call connected and the first thing Natasha heard was “Do you like the ph0to? I just wanted to give you something S-xy to look at this night because I’m very sure my friend would be putting on grandma clothes”. Immediately the person was done talking, Natasha alre-ady knew that voice and nee-ded no seer to tell her that it was the voice of her friend of over seven (7) years. Devastated and shocked, she called out her name just so the home wrecker would know that she had been busted. “Dora so it’s truly you? Wow!” Natasha said and before she knew it, the call ended.

When a person from your inner circle betrays you, it hits differently than when someone not too close to you hurts you. What did Dora gain by doing what she did? Was her 7 years old friendsh!pwith Natasha not worth letting go of any envy or lvstful de-sire she had for Vincent? Why jeopardise a friendsh!pas priceless as that without thinking twice? To be honest, Dora didn’t try at all and deserved whatever was coming her way.

With the Cat finally out of the Bag, Vincent had no other option than to come clean and surrender. “Babe, plea-se let me explain” he soberly said as he watched tears fall uncontrollably from his wife’s eyes. At that moment, Natasha was still trying to digest the bitter truth that her husband and best friend have been having an affair. There were just so many thoughts in her mind as she broke down in tears. After about a minute of crying bitterly, she finally managed to vent her anger.

“Why did you do this to me? After all I have done for you and our family? I let go of myself just to hold us all together, I forgot my nee-ds because I was too busy taking care of your nee-ds and that of our son, I ignored myself just because I was too busy giving you and our son my undivided attention, I lost myself just because I was too occu-pied in the world that revolved around only you and our son. I don’t deserve this Vincent, of all the people you could have cheated on me with you chose my best friend. Why so cruel and heartless? What else do you want from me that I haven’t alre-ady given to you? After all my sacrifice, you weren’t still satisfied? Why Vincent? Why?” Natasha soberly said.
As Vincent watched his wife break down in front of him, his heart shattered and at that moment, it dawned on him that no lvstful de-sire was worth his wife going throu-gh such mental breakdown. He was greatly hurt and didn’t even know where to start explaining himself from.

“Natasha I promise that I didn’t get inti-mate with your friend. She has been haras-sing me for a while now and I kept everything to myself just because I didn’t want to ruin your relationsh!pwith her. Everyday, she s£nds me a nûd£ picture and I have succeeded in blocking over two of her numbers just so she can leave me alone but all to no avail. I haven’t t©uçhed her I promise you, plea-se believe me even though my story might sound too good to be true” he soberly said.

At that moment, there was honestly nothing Vincent could do or say that would make Natasha believe any word that c@m£ out of his mouth. I mean, how was he going to convince the devastated lady that he hadn’t got inti-mately involved with a lady that was comfortable enough to s£nd him nûd£ ph0tos? it was apparent that Natasha wasn’t buying into her husband’s half baked story and she didn’t hesitate to show her disapproval in what he was saying.

“I don’t trust any word that comes out of your mouth. So I am now a grandma right? How would Dora be comfortable enough to refer to me as ‘Grandma’ if you didn’t give her the audacity? So all these while you haven’t t©uçhed me is because you now see me as a grandma? You have totally forgotten that I am this way just because of you and our son. What happened to communication amongst couples? Why didn’t you lead me back towards the right direction when you realised that I was drifting ap@rt? You promised to be there for me till the very end and yet you couldn’t even handle the slightest crisis that hit our marriage. I would ask you one question and I want nothing but the truth; are you still attra-cted to me like you were the very day you said ‘I Do’ to this union and promised a lifetime journey with me?” she soberly asked.

Finally, the moment of truth had come for Vincent to tell his wife that thing he had been holding back for a long time. He sadly looked into her eyes and dropped a bitter shocker; “No, it just isn’t the same anymore” he sadly revealed.

That shocking revelation shattered Natasha’s heart beyond repair. She smiled bitterly and sadly shook her head. “I can’t deal with this heart break with you in my face everyday so I’m leaving with my son since it’s now clear that we are two strangers living together in disguise of marriage” she said and stormed out of the room.

Immediately Natasha left the room, Vincent pursed her to st©p her from going anywhere. “We can talk this out babe, just calm down plea-se” he pleaded, but it was alre-ady too late because her mind was too broken to give their marriage a second chance. Since it was alre-ady getting dark, she was able to pack few things but Vincent wasn’t about to let her leave the house with their son. “Babe you are b!owing this whole thing out of proportion, don’t you think? I didn’t say I was leaving this marriage or did I?” He curiously inquired but Natasha wasn’t re-ady for any emotional blackmail. “I can never be managed by a man I have given my all to. I nee-d time alone to find myself again and decide if I still want this marriage or not. plea-se do yourself a favour and don’t st©p me from leaving” she soberly said.

That night wasn’t funny at all as Natasha had alre-ady made up her mind to walk away from their marriage for sometime. After all said and done, she still left that evening with her son. Vincent knew where she was going to but couldn’t go with her. That day was highly devastating for the couple.

Vincent was very angry with Dora to the extent that he could have gotten into a serious quarrel or fight with her if she was pres£nt that day. The fact that he didn’t know Dora’s house saved her that day because he would have been there that night to create a big scene.

After that evening, Natasha totally went off the radar. She took a leave of abs£nce from work just because she wasn’t re-ady to confront the heartless betrayer ‘Dora’ yet. Vincent knew where she was residing but couldn’t step his feet inside that place.

It took Natasha over 2 weeks to p@rtially put herself together. Those two weeks consisted of sleepless nights, constant crying, heartache, hurt and regrets. She felt devastated for losing herself in the course of her marriage. She tried to find herself again and after being sober for a long time, she finally decided to take actions to bring her true self back.

After going back and forth, Natasha finally decided to do something that she had been scared of doing for a long time. One morning, she woke up early, entered her car and zoomed off. When she arrived at her destination, she walked towards the receptionist counter. “Good morning ma’am, you are welcome. How may we help you?” the receptionist greeted.

Natasha smiled faintly and confidently replied; “I’m here to register for gym clas-s”
