‘Damon I’m late for work!!’..I yelled at the t©p of my voice and then Derek c@m£ in..

‘What’s up??’..He asked and I pointed at the n-ked two year old..

‘He doesn’t want to have a bath and I’m terribly running late’..I gro-an ed and he smiled.

‘You can go to work,I was planning on spending the day with him anyway’..He said..

‘You sure?? Cause he can be a handful’..I asked and he nodded..

Ohhh thank goodness..

I was really looking for someone to help me take care of him since everyone was gone and I had exams to write in school..

‘Come here champ’..He urged and without any effort Damon ran into his arms in his chubby little legs..

‘Are you kidding me?? I’ve been trying to get him to stay still and do just do it without any effort??’…

Derek’s POV ?

After giving me instructions that I didn’t even nee-d Elsa left for work and I decided to take Damon for a little fun..

‘You up for ice cream??’..I asked..

‘Yep’..He murmured in his squeaky little voice and we both left the house..

After some few minutes I got him out of the car and we both went into a movie theater so he would watch spongebob and eat ice cream..

‘Well,well,well look who it is’..Chase muttered and I rolled my eyes..

‘As you can see,my son and I are about to go watch a movie’..I said and I could see the embarras-sment in his eyes..

‘Is this your son?? Awww he’s so cute,what’s your name little guy?’..His girlfriend asked as she crouched down..

‘Damon’..Damon replied and she ruffled his hair..

‘He’s so cute’..She said again and Chase dragged her away..

‘Who is that??’..Damon asked and I carried him up..

‘He’s a bad man okay?? And if he tries bothering you then tell me alright’.

‘Cause yayyi is Superman??’..He asked again and I chuckled…

‘Yes daddy is Superman’..

‘Can you fly??’..

‘No I can’t fly cause I haven’t gotten all my powers yet but mommy can fly,she’s Superwoman’..

‘No,mommy is wonder woman’..He corrected me and I nodded..

Elsa is really a wonder woman..

Maybe that’s why I like her so much..

‘Let my hair breathe mom, gosh this is so annoying’..I gr-unted as Mom sprayed a hair substance all over my hair…

‘You haven’t let your beautiful hair down in a long time so it’s better we do it now and besides these curls fit you better’..She said and when she turned around I looked at myself in the mirror..

‘Is this…is this really me??’..I stuttered and she nodded with a smile on her face..

‘You look so beautiful and I feel like I’m going to cry’..She murmured..

‘Ohh Mom plea-se drop the corny act,go get the man sis’..Cas-sy said as she took Damon to his room so that he would sleep..

The doorbell rang and I ran over to open it only for me to see Derek with a shocked look on his face..

‘Hey’..

‘Hi…Hey…You…you look wow!!’..He replied nervously..

‘Thanks,I’ll just gr-ab my jacket and we’ll be on our way’..I said and I could feel the bu-tterflies in my belly…

Derek’s POV ?

Wow..

It’s just like she’s a new person..

‘So I know this might seem childish but if you remember the promise I made to you we said we would go to—

‘Disneyland?!!’..She laughed out heartily..

‘Yeah but Damon isn’t here so we’ll go to a Disney themed restaurant’..I replied and she shrugged..

‘As long as we could have a good time I don’t really care’..

‘You know I’ve been wanting to….’..My voice trailed off as the car suddenly st©pped and I gro-an ed..

Oh plea-se not today??..

I just got this car.

‘$h!t!! We haven’t even gotten there yet and the night is about to be ruined’..I gro-an ed as i tried igniting the engine again but it wouldn’t even budge..

‘Derek look!!’..She pointed at something and we both c@m£ out of the car to watch the shooting star..

‘Wow,this beats any Disney themed restaurant any day’.. She g@sped as she both sat on the car to watch the fireworks after..

‘You know legend says that when two people see a shooting star it means they’re meant to be’..I muttered and she stared at me intently..

‘You know that is the corniest thing I have heard all day’..

‘Corny?? Jeez I just poured out my heart to you do that’s ouch!!’..I held my heart for a much more dramatic effect..

‘I don’t mind you being corny’..She smiled at me and I could see the twi-nkle in her eyes..

‘Well then you won’t mind me doing this either’..I replied and covered herl-ips with mine…

The moment Derek’sl-ips t©uçhed mine I knew I had fallen in love with him..

Well I had been in love with him for a very long time since high school but I was just waiting for him to make the first move..

I had a crush on Chase but I had always loved Derek..

He wanted to pu-ll away but I was enjoying him so much that I gr@bb£d the collar of his shi-t to pu-ll him back..

‘k!ss!ngun-der a shooting star is better than anything’..I replied and suddenly the car just started..

Right after I dropped Elsa home and k!$$£d Damon goodbye I headed home and opened the door only to have Mom and Tanisha stand in front of me…

‘What is going on??’..I asked..

‘Where were you young man??’..Tanisha asked.

‘I went out,with someone’..I replied..

‘With who??’.Mom asked..

‘Why should I answer that question?? It’s none of anyone’s business??’..I frowned de-eply..

‘Elsa and I went on a d@t£ okay?!!’..I finally snapped and she jumped to her feet..

‘Ohh quit the act everyone knows you had a crush on Elsa since she started growing bo-ob s but you were just too chicken enough to do it’..Tanisha scoffed in a pla-yful manner..

‘You told me that if I tried asking her out you would shave my pit hair and my cut my pen!s!!’..I scoffed back..

‘Well I didn’t want you to listen?? Most brother’s don’t listen to their sisters but apparently you do and you did for years’..She said and I rolled my eyes..

Gosh I can’t even believe this!!..

‘Do not piss me off son,well fine if you’re not gonna do it then I’ll cancel all your credit cards and your car would be taken,let me see how you survive in school’..He said..

He is such a trickster some times..

‘So i was wondering,since I’m done with serving the country and I have enough to start over why don’t you move in—

‘What is wrong with you?!! Can’t you do anything right?!!’..I yelled at Monica who served me burnt toast and eggs..

‘Well the cook is sick so it’s either you eat it or you don’t that’s your problem’..she replied and I balled my fist..

I knew marrying Monica was a mistake from the start and it’s been a year alre-ady but we’re unable to produce a child..

Her father is breathing down my n£¢k and my own father is also breathing down my n£¢k but what they don’t realize is that she’s the problem and not me..

‘Well the sooner you get pregnant,the sooner we get this nons-en-se over with’…I said and threw the garbage she served me into the sink..

I just nee-d to get something tangible to eat..

Derek helped my mom with the sign for her new cafe which was her life’s dream..

‘As long as it isn’t Disney themed then I’m okay with it’..I replied and as we turned around we bu-mped into Chase..

It’s been a year now and I still see his sorry face??..

‘Looks like you both finally found each other huh??’..

‘Where is your wife Chase??’.. Derek asked and I could see the annoyance in his eyes…

‘She is none of your business Derek, where’s Damon??’..He asked and I couldn’t help but get mad..

‘So you even know his name?? He is also not your concern’..I replied..

‘He’s my son you know,I’m his father’..He said and Derek couldn’t even wait as he punched him ha-rd on the face..
