Victor’s POV
I took a de-ep breath as I rest my head on the head rest..
Should I draw conclusion of Anna and Amanda being evil??
I still nee-ds some more evidence, I can’t fully tell now because I hadn’t got a concrete evidence, I’m still working with instinct and what I thinks…
But..what would be the connection between them and presh??
Why do they hate her and her mother to the extent of wanting death for them..
I had known Anna before meeting presh, all of a sudden Anna hated presh so badly that she wants death for her like her life depends on it,
I pray the secret opens very fast because I can’t hold on for a long time, Anna is the lady I had to marry as the Prince…
She is the one as-signed for me but with the way things are going right now, I don’t know what is coming into my mind…
I am hating her because she hates presh???
According to the lineage of kingsh!pit was her that I got to marry, I had loved her since we met but now it is gradually fading off in fact right now, I don’t want to even see her…
Who is presh to Anna and Amanda??
It was even strange for me the Prince to develop feelings for a commoner, it is something unusual, how was she able to capture my heart…
I took a de-ep breath again and wiped the sweat on my forehead…
Presh mother was in the intensive unit built in the plane…
I just wish I would get a call from the doctor, they should just call and tell me that presh has regain her sight…I swear I’d bur-st in joy..
Finally after hours, we finally got to India..

My heart thump very fast as I walked into the ward with presh mother…
There was presh lying on the be-d with her whole face covered with bandage..
The sight s£nt shrill down my spine..I felt really t©uçhed at her condition…
“I hope she would be fine?” Her mother asked me as she sat beside her holding her palm….
“She would be fine and will even get to see again, just after all this surgeries, I’m sure she would get to see the light again..” I purred and held her other hand softly with my eyes getting we-t..
What she went throu-gh in the hand of those doctor c@m£ rushing in my memory ma-king me feel pained, her shrill was too intense that you would really cry when you hears it..
“Prince I thank you so much for all this you are doing for her and me, I don’t think we even deserve all this from you” presh mother cooed smiling calmly..
“You deserve it all ma’am, you both has pas-sed throu-gh a lot, you nee-d to live a good life like every other person in this life..she isn’t a curse” I breathed and glanced at her again..
“Everyone calls her that and wants me to believe it, they calls her curse and treats her like nothing, even her father hates her so much that he would beat me for giving her food” she sobbe-d..
“Do you know if there is a p@rticular person or group responsible for all this?” I asked and she turned her gaze sharply at me like she remembered something but later looked away..
“I can’t tell..I’m sure there is someone because anywhere she goes, at first the people would accept her but later they would all hate her instantly like someone just said something about her, she st©pped school because all the teacher suddenly defeat her so badly that they would join the students in criticizing and maltreating her calling her the same name ” curse”..” She paused and sniffed bitterly..
I buries my face down as tears also rolled down my cheeks, I just imagined how it would feel having the student and teacher hating you…
Presh must be a string girl to be able to stay alive after all this intense suffering..
“I want to find the person behind this??..can you help me with any information??..can you recall the person who kidnapped you then?” I asked and she raised her gaze sharply again like she remembered a name but when she opened her mouth nothing c@m£ out…
“The person is someone I know but the face is really blurry, her name would come flashing throu-gh my memory but wouldn’t stay up to a second before disappearing..” She sighed and I breathed heavily
“So the person is a she??..a woman right?” I asked and she nodded..
“Is it Amanda??” I asked and her eyes wi-de-ned as she stared at me intently…
“Do you know Amanda??” She asked with shock..
“Yes she is the sister to my father” I said and she sighed
“The Amanda I know isn’t the king sister, she is a friend of mine long time ago..” She said leaving me confused..
“Really??”
“Yes….Amanda was once my friend but I swear I don’t know about now, I haven’t seen her for so long, I just got some kind of feelings that she hates me now…let’s just forget about that now” she stated and turned her gaze to presh..
“So you don’t have a suspect?” I asked and she squinted her eyes..
“There is one person I can’t really call a suspect but with the way he treats presh, I’m f0rç£d to have a little feelings he has a secret which can lead us to something about the past” she said and stared at me
“Who is that then?” I asked..
“Her father, yes..he is the man who hates presh like a leper, I don’t think its normal, he lashed her so much when he heard you c@m£ to her that first day you saw presh” she explained and I cringed with a squee-zed forehead..
“Why??”
“He said she is a curse and would bring curse on you and the land..but..it isn’t normal, he is her father for goodness sake, he shouldn’t hate her that much if there isn’t something hidden..” She breathed and closed her eye taking in a de-ep breath..
I took out my phone immediately and dialed a number..
“Do you know of presh father??” I asked the caller..
“I don’t actually know but just give me a minute and I’ll tell you all you want to know about him” the hoarse voice sounded..
“All I nee-d is for you to torture him so much and make him tell you all he knows about presh, there is a secret he is hiding” I said and ended the call..
“I hope you don’t mind the torture?” I asked presh mother and she shrugged and turned back to presh who was still unconscious..
The bandage covering her face is really affecting me..
“Do you intend to marry my daughter?” She asked suddenly taking me unaware..
“I wish to” I muttered
“You know it is close to impossible if not totally impossible” she said and I sighed
“I’m the prince and it was Anna that was appointed to be my wife by the Oracle..but…how possible is it for me to fall in love with another lady??..has it been heard in the history of royalty..has it happened before?” I asked confused.
“It is still one of the thing that stuns me, there is only one reason for that..Anna is not the true heir” she said and I hiccu-mpped immediately
“What????” I exclaimed and she sighed..
“That’s the only way possible reason why you would have feeling for another lady, the oracle doesn’t permit that…” She said and I felt my head pound..
“Then why I am fallen de-eply for presh?..is it what I am thinking???” I muttered un-der my breath…
“I know it may sound queer to you but…the lady you are really in love with is the real heir, she is the woman to stand beside the prince, she is the woman with the royal blood….” She said and I jo-lted up in shock…
The woman is Presh!!!!!!
Is she the real princess and heir to the Queen sh!pof the throne??
I am in love with presh I swear…. Could she be the real heir???????”
“We can’t tell because the Oracle said it was Anna, there is a secret we don’t know..time will tell” she said and walked over to the window..
“There is a secret behind the birth of presh, I’ll tell you some day but we will wait till she regain her sight..” She said without looking at me…
Tears was rolling down her cheeks..
Anna’s POV
“We are doomed!!!!” I screamed immediately I got into Amanda’s chamber..
“What is it??” She asked curiously
“Out secret would leak very soon, I can feel it!”
“What??..why??..and why aren’t you in India with Victor??.. What is happening?” She kept asking while I moved around in frustration
“He left without me, he drugged my wine and I over sle-pt so he left without me, he also went with presh mother..we don’t even know the exact place he is now…we don’t know where presh is, who knows if she is being treated..” I breathed heavily..
“Omg!!!..why is this happening now that the time with is close.. Oh god!!..we have to rise up and fight!” She said and I took a de-ep breath,
“Its time to fight ha-rd …Victor must be mine!!!..no one should know the secret.. No one!!!!” I squealed and we both contorted our face in grim..
“Presh and her mother must die at all cost!!!” We screamed and jo-lted up..
Just then, one of the personal guard rushed in..
“Presh father had been kidnapped…I’m afraid he may spit out the secret, we found a note in his sitting room…” The guard said and gave the paper to me….
📜 We are coming for everyone who has hand in presh suffering..we would get to the root…

Episode 18
Victor’s POV
I head home with presh mother, I nee-d to show her my house here, she nee-ds to have a good rest after being treated, she had really gone throu-gh a lot at this age,
She nee-ds peace of mind and soul..
“Are you the real mother of presh?” I asked as we both sat on the couch in my house in India..
She sighed de-eply and bowed her head…
“I know it sounds queer but I don’t really know..” She replied and I arched my brow
“How??..”
“This is the secret I said earlier, it would have no s-en-se saying it to you now, presh has to be here…” She said and I breathed heavily..
“This is ma-king me wish presh would regain her sight sooner, I nee-d to hear all these secret, its so much now” I sighed and she smiled and held my palm..
“I may not know everything about you but I swear, you are lucky” she said and I gave her the “explain” look..
“If you had gotten married to Anna, I feels that there would be great terror in the land, the worst thing that would ever happen to the prince is to marry the wrong lady” she said and I took a de-ep sigh..
“Its still confusing, I don’t know what to think of..how is it possible that Anna isn’t the right wife???”
It was clear to me and everyone, we all saw it…
How can it all be a lie???
” there is much you don’t know about, there are many secrets Anna is hiding, wish you would get to know it all before it is too late” she said and I stood up and head to the window looking into the city as my mind clouded with different thoughts
If Anna isn’t the real princess then how did she got to make the Oracle point at her..
How was it even possible??..I’m sure there must be a lot I don’t know, I had been in darkness for so long…
Fate brou-ght me to presh because she was the woman for me, now I see why Anna hates presh, she has something she is hiding and that is connected to who really is the real princess??
Why didn’t I even saw it earlier, presh did nothing to Anna, she was just a poor blind girl but Anna suddenly hated her so badly, that shows she is having something beneath..
I shrugged and turned behind to see presh mother alre-ady dozing, I smiled as I saw the resemblance…
She was just like presh in every p@rt…
My phone rang and I picked it…
“We have got him and he is alre-ady tied up, about to begin torture just wanted you to know…” He said and I smiled
“Eager to hear what he has to say, make sure he spit it all!!” I breathed and hung the call..
Presh plea-se get your sight quic-kly, it is really nee-ded…
Anna’s POV
“as-semble all the guard and search all the community for Tony presh father, make sure you find him…you must find him, don’t come back and tell me he isn’t found, I’ll kill you all if you say so!!!” I growled to the head security who bowed his head lowly
“Okay ma!” He said and left.
“Amanda, I’m leaving for india, I nee-d to find presh, I have a feeling that she is un-der going surgeries, what if she eventually sees???!!” I gritted moving my palm over my hair in exasperation.
“That’s one of the thing that should never happen, she would regain her past memory the moment she sees Victor, they would start loving themselves and that would leak our secret…” She cried
“We have to take the risk of killing her, she may have the royal blood but I don’t care anymore, let the curse befall me while she dies and get forgotten” I fumed
“No…don’t destroy your life that way, there is still option, we can find where she is and take her away, she is blind, we can take her away and lock her up”. She said
” how can I even find one person in a whole country, this would be the most stressful work..” I sighed
“I have an idea..” Amanda said and I smiled
“I know you gets the idea any time it becomes complicated” I complimented ma-king her smile
“You would forge a fake medical file, no one knows you in India, you would appear as a nurse and meet presh in the hospital” she said
“I don’t know the hospital she is now if really she is in a hospital…”
“I’d find out her location from the last place recorded from the ch!ps before it was crushed, just nee-ds some time, I have friends across the world who can dig into systems, they would get her in no distant time, when we gets it, you would forge a CV and get a job in the hospital” she said and I took a de-ep breath, I’m not liking the idea, not only that it was a long process, it was also risky..
“Its too risky!” I lamented
“Okay, I think we should sneak in with some random family or maybe meet with some doctors and talk them into showing us where she is..” She said and I smiled happily..
“Yes, that’s better, I would fly to India while you handle the case of presh father, make sure he is killed immediately and…don’t forget to s£nd the name of the hospital to me and the address, after that then come up too…we have to end this once and for all…” I said sternly and she nodded with her face grim..
“Presh must not see Victor plea-se..” She muttered and I fumed at the fact that Victor was really getting close to presh which is really bad…

It was morning the next day and I am alre-ady sitting on a seat in my jet heading to india…
I was damn happy because Amanda had gotten the location of the hospital more quic-k than I had thought…
It seems like all hope isn’t lost like I had thought, Victor wouldn’t know I had alre-ady gotten her location, before he knows it, I had taken presh away…
Don’t ask me how I would do it, just watch and see…
I thought it would be so ha-rd not until I saw that one of the doctor in charge of presh treatment is that same doctor who had carried out a mission for me years ago…
I couldn’t be happy less, I think I’m destined to win, he would help me take presh away.. I would succeed in bringing her to my grasp and shatter all her hope..
It would be a great shock to Victor, he wouldn’t know what struck him..
He may hate me if he likes but there is no doubt he must marry me, the Oracle has spoken…
When he marries me then I’ll complete my mission, the only person who can st©p me is presh and I have to take care of her case before getting Victor..
“Presh must not see Victor” that voice resounded in my memory..
Something that happened a very long time ago…
That was the last warning from him..
Ohhh, I nee-d to be fast, I rather kill presh than allow her regain her sight..

Victor’s POV
I sat glumly beside presh, she had regain consciousness but the bandage all over her face hasn’t been re-moved, she would be un-dergoing another surgery which would be the last one to decide her fate…
Its either she regains her sight or lose it forever…this is the reason why my mind is restless and I feel like crying..
Her palm was into mine but she can’t talk or see me, I could feel her pain..
She had heard the words of the doctor and would really be in fear now, fear of the worst happening…
What if it happens that she would never see??
I don’t just want to think of that because I may start shedding uncontrollable tears…
“Presh…” I called and her palm grasped mine more..
“I’m so sorry for what you are pas-sing throu-gh, who would have known that you aren’t who they think you are, you look worthless outside but inside you lies greatness…
You are the lady for me that’s why they want to take you away, but who can change what fate brou-ght together, you are my princess, the woman to rule the land with me…” I purred and she moved her head sideways to my direction..
There wasn’t any doubt she was shocked and has a question for me but she can’t do any of that…
I could s-en-se her plight and It was really hurting me, I wish I can change it immediately…
Her palm folded around mine giving me a tingling s-en-sation, I couldn’t help but k!$$£d it…
Just then, my phone rang..
I took it out and saw the caller was Anna…
My face contorted into anger on seeing it and I really wanted to cut the call but i felt I nee-d to hear her out..
I’m not yet clear on who the real heir is…if the oracle known for truth could point at her, how can I doubt it even when everything around me says she isn’t the one.
I nee-ds more concrete evidence to clear my mind…
“Hello my love, Vic..plea-se tell me my crime, why do I deserve all this..I didn’t call you since so you would call and tell me the reason but you didn’t care about me…” She sobbe-d immediately I answered the call..
‘Is this the reason why you called?? ” I seethed and I could s-en-se she was shocked
“Just when I wanted to change for a better woman you left me, you abandoned me, what about our marriage???..Victor think of this, presh can be from the evil trying to bring down the royalty, tell me why you fell for her if she isn’t…..”
“Shut that smelly pit you called a mouth…if there is any evil here???..then count your self as one…for the moment, st©p calling me till presh regains her sight, we would know the truth later!” I snapped and hung the call…
Presh has her gaze turned to me even tho she couldn’t see, she could hear the phone call…
Her fist was clenched and I wondered why??..
Was she from the evil???
Was that the reason I fell for her???..Anna word looked a little bit true because that was another reason that could make me fall for someone different from who the Oracle ordained…
I plopped down on the chair totally devastated and befuddled, I don’t know what to believe now..
I was about thinking throu-gh about presh being evil when a call c@m£ in, it was the man i s£nt to get presh father…
“Hello any improvement???” I asked with my heart beating fast..
“Much improvement, the man couldn’t even bear pain, he spited it all in less than a hour of torture..” He said and I felt joy surge throu-gh me..
“So tell me, my ear is itching”
“The secrets are really unbelievable and shocking..”
“We recorded his confession..listen…” He said and an audio began…
“plea-se..I’m not presh father in fact I don’t i know who her father is..I was employed to cause her pain and the person who employed me was Anna….”
My heart fli-pped at that statement…
“She and Amanda planned it together, they wanted her dead but can’t kill her because she has a Royal blood in her vein..she was made blind to cover the past from being revealed…”
My heart was thumping as those words c@m£ out..
“Victor the Prince was someone they never wanted to come near presh because of a reason I can’t tell…”
I heard the sound of beating and shrill of pain…
“Tell us the reason!!” I heard a voice in the background..
“I don’t know, I was never told…all I know is that presh wasn’t blind from childbirth, she bec@m£ blind when she was 17 years and I guess her memory was washed….I don’t actually know what happened…
“There is a secret she knew but can’t say it till she sees Victor with her eyes…that’s why Anna and Amanda wouldn’t want her to see instead she was left in the world of pain and anguish so she would die in it…”
The audio cl-ips t©pped and I heard a gun sh0t…
” we killed him after that because we got report that he is being searched for..” I heard Jade voice, the guy I s£nt for the mission..
I couldn’t reply him…I was dumb.
What other evidence do I nee-d????
Anna and Amanda made presh blind to hide the truth…
Now I know really that the enemy here is no other people than, Anna and Amanda!!
