💫 Susan’s pov 💫
“Mum, what am I doing here?” I asked confused cause I had no idea of what I was doing in the hospital, the last thing I remembered was good to the hospital and boom…
Oh no!!
I had an accident
I can’t believe am still alive
“Mum, what’s going on? What about my friends in the vehicle? Penny? Jace? And Cindy? ” I asked anxiously
” Am sorry sweetie, they didn’t make it, you were the only surviver and you’ve been in coma for a month now” she said and Immediately I was alre-ady tearing up!!
“No Mum, is not possible, tell me you’re just kidding, aren’t you?” I asked in tears
“Calm down Susan, I shouldn’t have told you this for Christ sake
“Ouch!! My head hurt” I exclaimed as I tried moving
“Susan, plea-se calm down” mum urged
“Anything the matter” a female doctor walking in with two nurses behind her asked.
“I don’t know, but she’s really freaking out” mum said sadly, and the doctor walked to me doing some weird stuff I don’t un-derstand, like checking my pulse, my eyes, mouth and so on. ..
“Alright Miss Susan breath slowly” the doctor said and I did as instructed and surprisingly I felt a little bit eased.
“She just woke up, but was un-der a panic attack” the doctor said to my Mum
” Would she be okay? ” Mum asked..
“Of course. Infact she is alre-ady, she’s a pretty big surviver, she’s really strong, she just nee-d some rest and sometime for us to watch over her” the doctor said and my mum nodded smiling happily.
” Thanks doctor” mum said
“It’s a previledge ma’am” the doctor replied smiling cutely
” You’ll be okay baby” mum said and I nodded forcing a smile cause I was still feeling some pain in my head…

Gosh!!, Susan has forgotten the whole plan and her mission, how the hell am I gonna make her remember??
This is ha-rd to solve, and to t©p it up, she’s my only hope for justice, how the hell am I gonna talk to her?
She can’t see me even Daniel Can’t. What the hell am I gonna do, am really in a trance
“You’re not Britney, come with me, I’ll show you how to sort things out” a voice said freaking the hell out of me, I thought no one could see me or even hear me but that voice knows my name…
“It’s me Britney” the voice said again but I couldn’t see the person but it seems I recognized that voice
“Mum?” I asked confused

“What the hell brother? You mean you had a lady in here for two weeks with nob©dy aware?” Victoria my sister asked..
” Shut up Toria,I nee-d to find her, she’s been missing for two days now” I said
” Two days?? And you’re just telling me?? At least you should know something about her” Toria said
” I wish” I replied
” What do you mean by ‘I wish’?” She asked
“I only know her name and the fact that she lost her memory, I don’t even know where she’s from” I said
“What??!! You know what brother, am your junior but sometimes, you act like my junior” she said
” What do you mean?” I asked angrily and she rolled her eyes at
” this is no time to get angry dude, chill okay!!” She said
“So now, what do you think could had made her disappear just like that without telling you anything? Or maybe she got her memory back and decided to go back home? Or was she kidnapped?” She asked
” I don’t fv¢king know Toria, no one can kidnap her in this house, I give her food, clothing and shelter the basic nee-ds. What more could she ever ask for?” I asked angrily
” Care, friendsh!p, etc. Am a medical student Dan, and am sure you should also know this, when a person lost his or her memory he or she may be expo-sed to trauma, mental problem and so on, you could have at least try your best to be nice, Britney won’t come back” she said and something hit me
” What do you mean by that Toria? Are you out of your mind??” I asked angrily
” No Daniel, you’re the one out of your mind, you’re out of your s-en-ses, it’s time you faced the truth, acting this way would never solve anything, it’s just like adding salt to an open wound. Can’t you see? You’re turning into a monster alre-ady, this is not my brother, pouring out your anger on people won’t work things out, you just have to face it and be the guy you were 1 year ago, I trust you Daniel, it’s still in you, if you continue like this, you’ll just end up like that bit-ch Bianca which you and I don’t like, you guys would make a perfect match, you’re both rude, it can be ‘Danica or Bianiel, I hope you find the girl, though I have a feeling she’s safe'” she said hissing walking out
” Come back here Victoria, did you just talk to me like that?” I asked angrily but got no reply until she was completely outside.
‘damn!! She completely ruined my mood, what stupid truth? Like it can even bring her back’
To hell with being a monster, I can even be worst than that, I don’t give a damn
To hell with Susan, she can go wherever she wants to, she’s just not contended, appreciative or even grateful.

“Stoooooop!!!” I screamed out loud waking up from my nightmare….
I’ve been having stupid dreams about a ghost dragging me since I left the hospital two days ago, and it’s freaking, I really nee-d to see a thera-pist like mum suggested?? I just don’t un-derstand what’s going on…
Suddenly my window opened as a result of the heavy wind, which freaked me out, I quic-kly stood up to lock the window to reduce my fear….
I was still trying to get some sleep in fear, when I hear a voice which wasn’t mum’s or mine either
“Susan it’s me, Britney, we still got something to do” the lady like voice said, she sounded friendly and it freaked the hell out of me ..
“Ahhhhg” I screamed in fair, searching for who it May be cause my light was switched on, and am supposed to see anyone in here, but I don’t see anyone, no, I’m insane, I’m insane….
“Susan listen to me” the voice said
“Shut the fv¢k up, who the hell are you?” I screamed and my door opened ma-king me scream the more
” It’s me dear” I heard mum voice say and I relaxed a bit
“I heard you screaming again, are you okay?” Mum asked
“No Mum, it’s not only the nightmare, am hearing a strange voice too” I said scared
” What strange voice? we have to see the thera-pist” mum suggested
” No Susan, you don’t have to go anywhere, just try to remember, it’s me Britney, plea-se” the voice pleaded but this time I didn’t freak out, it seems calm
Wait!! I know that name…
Chapter 10
🍭 Susan’s pov 🍭
Britney, Britney, Britney, that name sounds really familiar, but I just can’t figure out who I know is bearing that name…..
“Go back to sleep dear, I don’t hear any voice, tomorrow we would go see a thera-pist” mum said
” Mum wait” I said
” Are you okay Susan? ” Mum asked
” I am, Don’t worry mum I can cope” I said
“Are you sure?” she asked and I nodded positively…
” Sweet dreams love” she said leaving, closing the door behind her
I just sat up and rest my back on the wall, I was beyond worried, I just don’t want mum to notice. Am hearing a voice and am pretty sure am not hallucinating..
“What the hell is wrong with me? Am in sane! Am in sane!”
” You’re not in sane Susan, plea-se don’t freak out, just listen to me” the voice
” Who are you and why can’t I see you? ” I asked in a low voice so I won’t make mum worried.
” Susan it’s me Britney, try to remember, we met while you were in coma, you can’t see me now cause you’re fully a human now” she said confusing…..
” Coma?? I was in coma, so how possible were we able to meet? ” I asked
” Alright Susan, am going to explain to you, just don’t freak out okay” the voice said and I nodded……
She was done telling me the story of how we met, and how her step sister killed her, and how she nee-ds to bring her step sister to justice and how I was the only one to help……
Suddenly, I felt a throbbing headache, it was like my head was going to fall off……….
“Ouch!! I remember, Bianca killed you Britney” I said
” You remember!! ” She said happily and I nodded though I couldn’t see her but she could see me…
“What else do you remember?” She asked
“Uhmm I don’t remember anything else, I know you’re Dad is the prime minister of Canada, and you lost your mum at a tender age, he married another woman who eventually had a daughter, you guys grew up together, you met a guy who liked you and you also liked him but your sister had feelings for you, and eventually, she poisoned you. But was able to escape because nob©dy saw her and your dad didn’t install any CCTV c@m£ra into your room because you wanted privacy, I thought I was just dreaming” I said
” No Susan, you weren’t dreaming, do you remember the secret c@m£ra I showed you that no one knows about except me?” She said
” I do” I replied
” What about Daniel? ” She asked
” Don’t remember anyone like that, I only remember you taking me to your room to see how your sis poisoned you, anything else that I should know? ” I asked confused
” No, you don’t have to stress your br@in, am sure you would still remember like you remembered all this”she said and I nodded, I was so curious and I wished I could at least see her face again, it would be better…
“Are you there Britney?” I asked
“Yes” she replied
” Why can’t I see you? ” I asked
” Humans and ghost don’t relate that much, the fact that you can hear me now, was throu-gh the help of someone” She said
” Okay…” I replied
” Susan, plea-se, you nee-d to go to Canada. If possible tomorrow or next” she said
” What?? I don’t think I have such money, it’s such a far distance, and I’ll have to buy a plane ticket, and that would only means emptying my safe,I have to help my mum. I lost my job while I was in coma, and I nee-d to try to get it back or if possible get another, our rent is almost due,and we still nee-d to cover up a little bit of the hospital bill, I was only discharged because the doctor was a friendly type, if not I would still be stuck in that hospital. Now that am free, I nee-d to get the money” I said angrily
” Am sorry if I upset you, but plea-se Susan, you have to do this for me, you promised” she said
” Well I don’t remember promising” I said laying on my be-d with the duvet over my head
She kept on insisting, but I paid no attention, I have my own life to attend to .

Two days later ✨✨
I walked into the company I worked before I was sacked for an unreasonable reason,I was willing to get my job back, even though it was just a small pay but at least I and mum are comfortable with it. Everyone stared at me with anger, well I won’t blame them, my friends which are also our colleague here at work all died in the vehicle, I was the only survival, that’s enough for people to suspect and probably hate me….
“Good day Mr Lewis” I greeted when I got to the counter and surprisingly he smiled at me
“Wow!! Am glad you’re okay Susan” he said
“Yes I am, thank your Lewis” I said with a smile
” So, what can I do for you this morning?” He asked
” Well, it’s about my..my job” I said and he sighed
“Am sorry about that Susan, but the boss is really adamant about his decision, I’ve tried my best to change his mind but it’s just not working” he said…
” But it wasn’t my fault” I replied
” I know Susan, you know Stephen is just a stubborn guy, he makes annoying and stupid decision” he said and I chuckled amidst my hopeless situation
” plea-se can I see him, maybe if I plead with him and tell him the reason why I was abs£nt for that long, he may consider me” I said
” He alre-ady knows about your accident” he said
” uhmm…can I still speak to him? plea-se Mr Lewis” I pleaded
” Alright Susan, you’re just like my daughter, I can’t say no to you” he said dialing Mr Stephen office…….
” Alright Susan, I guess it’s your lucky day, you can go in” he said and I smiled happily
” Thanks Mr Lewis” I said walking up the stairs, I didn’t take the elevator cause it was quite crowded and I nee-d to be hasty in this

“Good morning sir” I said as I took my seat in front of Mr Stephen in his office
“Morning Susan, am so happy to see you after such misfortune” he mocked and I swallowed, I hate this man.
” Thank you” I replied
“So tell me, why are you here?” He asked
” Well am here on the account of my job, am sorry Mr Stephen, it wasn’t my fault, I didn’t know it was gonna happen, it was unexpected, plea-se” I pleaded and he chuckled
” You know your apologise are just useless miss Adams,you just love living in poverty, I’ve given you a lot of opportunities but you keep rejecting it, do you think I fired you because you were abs£nt due to an accident? No Susan, that’s absurd” he said, I kept looking down at my legs, this man is crazy…
“Sir plea-se, that’s just like our only means of survival, my mum’s business ha-rd ly pays, sir plea-se just accept me even if you have to demote me, I don’t mind” I said and he laughed
” That’s what I don’t like about you Susan, you think too lowly of yourself, I’ve told you be my girlfriend and all your suffering would be over, a new car,house, fancy clothes and payment to you and your mum’s bills, what does it take?” He asked
” Sir…I”
” Stephen, Just call me Stephen, so?” He said
” Well, I don’t think that would be possible” I said
” Common Susan, you’re the only one I find interest in, a rich and clas-sic man like me, you’re beautiful, smart, intelligent and so much more, think about it Susan, all your problems would be over” he said and I swallowed thinking
Does he really thinks that those stuffs attra-ct me,those he even think am such a fool
“Say no Susan” I heard Britney voice
“Of course what do you think I’d say” I whispered
” Pardon?” Mr Stephen interrupted
” I mean I’ll go home and think about it” I said
“That’s a perfect decision Susan, Even though I know there is nothing to think about, you may leave, plea-se think properly and remember, someone loves you” he said and I quic-kly walked out of the company
Jeez!! He’s such a per-vert, I can never see myself ending up with such person…………….
I went to three companies searching for a new job, but they all said there wasn’t any vacancy, am alre-ady fed up
“Susan plea-se you just have to consider my request before it’s too late, I promise you everything would be okay, including your mum” Britney said…..
” How?” I asked
” Just trust me Susan” she said and I sighed

” Honey, you’re back, how was it? Did you get back your job?” Mum asked
” Mum, am going to Canada tomorrow” I said
