Mabel dropped her phone after picking Tega’s
call.He was outside summer singles!Her heart
jumped at the thought of seeing Tega.But she
controlled it..no matter how happy she
seems,she had promised she won’t allow Tega
d@t£ impress her so she would be with her
soulmate later on and live a meaningful life.
She stood to her feet and opened the door,she
met Cyrus who was about to knock too.
“Hi.”she greeted.He looked at her from her hair
to her toe.She looked beautiful.He knows.
“Where are you heading to?”he asked her
“I..I…a d@t£..I’m on a d@t£ with Tega”she said
stammering.He kept staring at her till she walked
out.He stared at her as she left too.He had told
her to think about his proposal and she was
going on a d@t£ with Tega.Was that a No! Should
he back off!Of course he was supposed to back
off from a married woman.But something kept
drawing him closer to her.He couldn’t just forget
her.
Mabel c@m£ out of the gate and saw Tega
standing beside his car,she walked closer to him
“Hey”she called and he turned back.He gave her
a pretty smile and she was f0rç£d to blus-h.She
knew what that smile means..she must look very
beautiful
“re-ady?”he asked and she nodded,he turned to
the other side if the car and opened the door for
her,she gently walked to the car and sat
down.He smiled as she looked up at him and
gently closed the door.He moved to start the
car.
Mabel sighed.No matter what Tega does
today.She won’t be impressed..she as-sured
herself

around.Tega got down immediately and opened
her door.She got down and looked round again
with a wi-de smile
Tega walked as she followed him too.He c@m£
to a st©p and turned to look at her.She was still
looking around laughing at herself
“You remember this place?”He asked with that
smile she couldn’t resist
“Tega….you..didn’t forget?”
“I could never..”before he could finish talking
Mabel k!$$£d him.He waited to be sure before he
replied her k!ss.Wow..he feels like he was on t©p
of the world now.She didn’t st©p..she kept going.
This was Mabel’s favorite place in the world..in
the world!!
Mabel realized she has been k!ss!ngTega the
moment she started.. but she didn’t want to
st©p..all of a sudden she remembered what she
has promised herself.Cyrus was her destiny not
Tega.She st©pped the k!ssas fast as possible
that Tega even realised.But he gave her a smile
instead..he didn’t want her to feel she made a
mistake
“Thank… thank you..”she said to him.He moved
to her and used his two hands to cover her
eyes.”What..?”she asked and he could s-en-se
from her voice that she was happy and smiling
“I have a surprise for you..”he said
“A surprise? she asked again
“Yeah..so just keep calm”he said pushing her to
where she was going
“Oow-kay”Mabel said and followed him gently
“We’re here”Tega said
“Hmmmn…can’t wait to see”she said
He re-leased his hands from her eyes gently and
a bluish blurry image..c@m£ on before it bec@m£
clear
She looked around,they were in a room,which
look extremely beautiful,but there was nothing
really special
She turned to look at him
“He’s handsome isn’t he”Tega asked her,she
gave him a look
“Who are you talking about?”she asked,today
they shouldn’t be talking about Cyrus now..it was
supposed to be a d@t£..not a court room
“Turn around”Tega said.She looked at him at
first and wonder what he was up to,but she
turned later
You know when a mic is faulty and it makes a
loud thin sound like a scream..that was exactly
what was happening now..Mabel scream would
break the house now
“Oh my-my….”Mabel screamed again.S he ran to
hvg the masculine stature standing opposite
her,who embr@ced and carried her like a 3month
old baby.They did a little of hvg and rolling for
some time before he dropped her
“I can’t believe who I’m seeing”she shouted
again.The guy laughed.
“Where have you been”she asked
“Well…that’s a long story Mama Sheila”The guy
said and Mabel laughed at that name
“Aww..where’s Sheila”she asked
“Well I think that’s another surprise Dan and I
have for you”Tega said and she beamed
sweetly.Dan led the way as Mabel and Tega
followed.Tega held her w@!st and she didn’t
resist
“Here we are….”Dan said pointing to a few
mother horses and children
“Oh my…wow”Mabel commented
“Sheila is the mother of all this babies”Tega said
“Are you serious”Mabel shouted and the two
guys nodded
“Omg my baby Sheila has grown so big…I missed
you baby”Mabel said and t©uçhed it’s face and
the horse gladly accepted. “I think she still
remember me”Mabel said giggling which made
them all laugh
“How did you get here Dan..when did you come
back..”Mabek asked
“Well firstly.all thanks to Tega..say thank you to
him”
“Hmmmn.. Thanks Tega”Mabel said with a smile
“Well we have a lot to discuss..keys first go pla-y
with the bears first..”Dan said
“Geez…you brou-ght the bears”Mabel shouted on
t©p of her voice and they laughed

Mabel smiled in the car, a d@t£ at Dan’s farm house was the best.Thanks to Tega.
She picked her phone to call Sandra..she couldn’t wait to tell her all the gist,they had always gone to Dan’s farm house together before he travelled.Now that Dan was back Sandra will be so happy.
She scrolled throu-gh and check for Sandra’s number as she was about to dial it..she remembered… she and sandra were not in good terms.They had broke up..a bitter break up.She dropped her phone and sigh
“What wrong”Tega asked her.She turned to look at him and smiled,but he knew the smile wasn’t genuine.She nodded negatively signifying that nothing was wrong.”Your can talk to me Mabel”Tega said
“Tega…firstly I’m sorry you saw Cyrus k!ssme…”
“First time I was jealous..but anyway..I’ve forgotten about that..”
“Thanks..and secondly Sandra also saw us and she kinda flare up..so we fought and broke up”Mabek said
“Hmmmn…well since the time that happened..i only discovered it yesterday..Sandra is the best friend you would have you know…but it’s your choice..if you still want to keep it cool with her..then go ahead”He said with a smile
“Tega…you-are the sweetest thing I’ve ever met…..the girl who will get married to you would be very lucky…”
“Yeah.Mabel..you would be very lucky”
“Tega…me…I..I think we are not destined…and I think this one week impressive things should st©p..I’ve made up my mind Tega…”
“Even after going to Dan’s farm house?”he asked and she laughed…for long
“Well.. Dan’s farm house is ma-king me go gaga now..but..let’s say you took me there as a friend”.
“No Mabel…let’s continue with the one week d@t£…I will impress you more..”
“Tega..I’ve made up my mind..”
“I can change that….”Tega said and stare at her.She key staring too,what gave him that confidence.
“It’s been long I saw Cyrus..I’ll drop you at summer singles”he said and smiled
“Tega…”before she could finish her statement,Tega had increa-sed the volume of the radio in the car.She closed the mouth she had opened to talk and kept quiet.She just hope Tega would be cool with Cyrus.

“Let’s talk man”Tega said to Cyrus in a friendly manner.Immediately they got down from Tega s car..they saw Cyrus in front of summer singles standing alone.Has he been waiting for Mabel?
“Hey”he greeted Tega..one could tell that he felt guilty,but Tega didn’t make him feel that way
“How about Bianca…”Tega asked instead ma-king him to feel like he alre-ady has a girl he should be with instead if crushing in his Mabel..and also ma-king Mabel feel that..Cyrus was not single
“She’s great”Cyrus replied
“Let’s talk man”Tega said to Cyrus and Cyrus heart skipped.He knew Tega had seen them k!ss..he didn’t know how angry the guy would be..if they were to pick a fight..he wouldn’t like to continue,he wouldn’t want to injure Tega..he was at fault.
They both walked to the field and Tega st©pped as he stared into the air
“Mabel told me!”Tega said.Cyrus didn’t say a word,he kept his hands in his pockets and stared into thin air too
“I saw you guys k!ss..Do you know that?”he asked and Cyrus nodded
“Yeah.Jane told me”he said
“Well..you are aware Mabel and I are getting married”he said
“Yeah!”Cyrus said again
“Still you are in love with her…”Tega said
“Well..Tega… marriage doesn’t st©p feelings”Cyrus said
“I know that…so what are you gonna do about her…she loves me you know”Tega said
“Well Tega..I love the way you are taking things easy with me…but it depends on Mabel..it’s her choice”
“Yeah… definitely.Its Mabel’s choice…anyway..gotta prepare for another d@t£ tomorrow..see ya”Tega said and left.Cyrus kept staring.Another d@t£?What was going on?Is this a sign Mabel was not giving him for him.Should he start losing hope?
Mabel is not for him…maybe he should start realizing that!
