It’s been quite some time in this school, and I can’t say it’s been bad, neither can I say it’s been perfect, but with Olivia beside me, I’ve gained a lot, she thought me a lot of stuff, like, believe in myself and also embr@cing my ability. At least with her, I’ve been able to practice more and gain more stand in music, though I’m not as perfect as anyone could really expect, but I’m sure of my skills a little.
And unexpectedly, I’m really happy for our upcoming audition, I just can’t wait to see alot of talent displa-y.

I was in Olivia clas-s for the third time today, I’ve been in her clas-s quite often these days, due to the important script she has been working on for the audition, it’s really draining her a lot, she ha-rd ly even use her break hour.
I’ve developed the confidence to walk into the higher clas-ses the way I want due to Olivia’s help, what some of my mate aren’t allowed to do. Alexa even challenged me once or twice, but i don’t know, Olivia is always her weak point, and she’s never too late to defend me on that aspect.
“Hey Stella” Olivia called still focusing on the script she was holding, I was standing right beside her chair.
“Yes?” I replied
“I’m kinda famished here, could you plea-se help me get something from the cafeteria, probably a can of milk shake” she said handing me a dollar bill.
” Okay, but keep the money, I’ll get it for us today” I replied
“Definitely no Stella, you don’t have to stress yourself, okay” she replied
” No, I really want to do this, at least to appreciate all your help and support even though it’s not even” I said and she chuckled.
” There’s no nee-d for that Stella, but if you still insist, I accept” she said
” That’s my girl, be right back” I said and she chuckled
” KK” she replied and with that, I rushed out happily, but st©pped on my track when I sighted Jeremy not to far from where I was.
Woah!! This seems to be the second time I’m setting my eyes on him, though I’ve been in this area of the school quite often, but I still ha-rd ly see him.
I’ve not really heard him singing in person, but from the few videos I’ve watched, I must accept, he’s really more than an angel in disguise. I don’t know what c@m£ over me, but I felt the urge to say hi, and tell him how good he really is, just like I told Jace a week ago.
“Hi” I said as I got to him, though with lesser confidence, bit I got no reply. He was standing alone, resting on the piano statue, with both hands in his pockets staring at the sky.
“Hey!!” I called louder but still got no reply.
” What do you want? ” He asked not even sparing me a glance
” Uhmm nothing.. I just wanted to let you know how great your voice and music is. I really love them, and I also wished to sing like you” I said and he finally looked at me, wow, he’s really cuter than I thought he was.
He wanted to speak when his phone rang, he glanced at me one more time before leaving, without even saying a word, I know he definitely wouldn’t t be coming back again, so I just decided to take my leave.
Jeez!! He’s so weird, I expected someone like him to be extremely loud, cheerful and adventurous, but he’s the direct opposite.
Well, I don’t wanna keep Olivia waiting.

“You mean you spoke with Jeremy” Olivia asked as she sipped from her milk shake.
” Yes, but it wasn’t really a conversation, I just said hi, he asked what I wanted, I told him how good he was and the next thing, he left without saying anything when his phone rang
“Common silly, that’s a conversation, you should be glad he even replied you and you should also be glad Alexa didn’t see you” she said
” What do you mean by Alex not seeing me? ” I asked
” Woah!! That girl is crazy, definitely he had nothing to do with her, but the fact by is that, she goes crazy when she Jeremy giving someone else his attention, cause he mostly ignore her. The last time my mum s£nt me to give Jeremy’s mother a message throu-gh Jeremy, she totally flared up to see us talking together, she almost started a fight, but Romeo was there to st©p her” she said.
” Woah, that’s cruel, she doesn’t even own him, just imagine if she does” I said and Olivia bur-sted into laughter
“That’s a story for another day, for now, let’s move to my pri-vate practice clas-s, you’ll help me okay today” she said
” Yippee” I replied, actually I’ve gained some skills in pla-ying the piano, though I still want to be perfect in it.

❣️ Alexa’s pov❣️
“Uhmm.. Jace, have you helped me talk to Jeremy about what I told you” I said pla-ying with his hair and he chuckled.
” What’s funny? Jace am actually serious” I said
“Blah, blah, blah, if you wanna talk to him, go meet him in person” he said and I glared at him angrily.
” Are you crazy? So you’ve been using me all this while without even doing what I want” I yelled angrily
” Hey chill, we’re outside, you don’t want to raise a scene” he replied
“I don’t care, you’re really a fool” I said
” Definitely I’m not, I’m just fas-ter than you sweetie, I knew your motive from the beginning, I’m not Jeremy’s keeper, you can go to him, he’s definitely going to answer you” he said with sarcasm boldly visible in his voice.
” I never knew you were this foolish, I shouldn’t have wasted my time with you” I said really angry.
” Oops! You got the wrong guy here, probably you should go trick patrick, he’s also close to Jeremy too” he said wi-nking at me.
” Useless s¢v-mbag” I said storming away in anger, with him laughing hysterically behind.
Gosh! I should have known Jace was a waste time, I think going to Jeremy in person would be the best.

Jeez! Finally, I’m done for today. I think I should go meet Stella today, cause she has been the one stressing herself to my clas-s during closing hours these days, I think I should go with her today, it’s less stress for her.
I was still going when I sighted Alexa and Jace talking to each other, I decided to ignore them today. Suddenly, Alexa angrily stumped away.
Hmm, what’s going on?
I was still staring at the scene when Jace eyes met with mine. I quic-kly looked away walking away Immediately, but was st©pped by the yelling of my name by Jace. I didn’t want to st©p, but I had no choice, cause surprisingly he was alre-ady standing right in front of me.
I stood angrily with my hands folded waiting for him to move away, but he didn’t neither was he saying anything.
“What do you want Jace? I have to go” I said kinda pissed.
“Avoiding me for months wouldn’t help, you know that” he said
“And who told you I was avoiding you?” I asked
” Isn’t it obvious?” He asked looking quite angry and I couldn’t help but laugh.
“I should be the angry one here, not you Jace” I said walking away angrily but he dragged me back.
“Hey, watch the way you t©uçh me” I said angrily.
” Why should I Olivia, we have unfinished business here and you’re acting like a coward” he said
” I’m not a coward Jace,you’re the coward and inconsiderate one here. I don’t know why I’m even talking to you, you should be apologizing here, rather you’re calling me names, I have better things to do, okay” I said
” Jeez!! I didn’t call you names, I didn’t mean to. How would I apologise, when I don’t even know my offence” he said looking confused
” It’s okay Jace, I never wanted your apology in the first place, you don’t even know what you did, jeez!! Excuse me, I have to go” I said walking away
” Olivia, Olivia” he called from behind but I ignored, I can’t st©p crying in front of that annoying Jace.
I better go find Stella, my time has alre-ady been wasted.

🌼 Alexa’s pov🌼
I called Jeremy on his mobile number, but it went straight to voicemail, I’ve made up my mind, today is the day, I finally gain my full courage to talk to him, after all, it’s no big deal.
I was still walking when a funny looking guy rushed to me.
“Hey Alexa, am Austin and I love you from the depth of my heart, could you sign your name on my face” he said rushing his words and pointing out his face to me like a clown.
” What the hell are you!” I screamed
“I’m human Alexa, I really really like you, no, I mean, I really really love you” he said still acting weird.
” You must be crazy to even approach me with such crazy words, I don’t mingle with fools, I’m not in your league” I said walking away, but he held my hands
” Alexa plea-se don’t do this to me, you’ll break my heart” he said and I ended up in a round of laughter sl@pping his hands away from mine.
“You nee-d to go to the sick bay” I said rushing away from him, gosh!! He’s really stupid, I haven’t even seen him before, I’m sure he’s in one of those lower clas-ses or something. Take a look at me, Alexa of all beauty and a clown, ‘lol’, God forbid it. It’s Jelexa for life.

I got to the parking lot quite on time, like I knew he was gonna be there, cause he was about entering his vehicle, I quic-kly figured out a strategy to use on him.
“Hey Jeremy” I called as I got to him. He looked at me but didn’t say a word.
“Jeremy?” I called again just to be sure he was paying attention to me
“What do you want?” He asked
“I was just wondering if you could give me a ride home, you know, our houses are quite close to each other, so it wouldn’t be a stress to you” I said
” why would I do that Alexa, Don’t you have a car? ” He asked paying full attention to me
” Of course I do, I even have it here today, but I don’t un-derstand, it suddenly isn’t starting” I said and he gave a weird crack. Sound.
” I’m not a child” he replied
” Uhmm…… I don’t un-derstand Jeremy” I said
“No nee-d to repeat myself, actually I’m not going home” he said entering his car, shutting the door and driving away immediately without even waiting for my reply.
“Jeez plan one failed, I nee-d to find another strategy” I said out loud unconsciously till I hear a familiar laughter behind me, I looked to see who it was.
“Jeez Alexa, you’re so cheap, tell me what plan one is all about? ” He asked still in laughter
” Why the hell are you stalking me Romeo?” I screamed.
“Hell no, I wouldn’t waste my time doing that, I just happened to be in the right place at the right time, and don’t also forget that I do park my car here” he said
” I hate you fool” I said angrily walking away
” Wait Alexa, I could give you a ride, since your car broke down” he said, sarcasm clearly in his voice.

I was about leaving the libr@ry where I worked at, when my boss called me.
“Stella, wait” my boss called
“Sir” I replied
“You forgot to collect your pay for today, here you go” he said handing me some money
” Oh, thanks alot” I replied
” Don’t mention, I’ve been meaning to ask you something?” He said
” Uhmm..what could that be?” I asked
“I know you’re pursuing your dreams in that school you’re going to, so it wouldn’t be that easy for you to do two things at the same time, isn’t it stressful” he asked
” No sir, of course I can manage” I replied
” If you don’t mind, you can work on weekends, I’ll still give you half of your pay for the days you weren’t around” he said
” Oh no sir, I’m okay this way” I said
” Okay if you insist , it’s fine by me” he said
” Oh I forgot, someone brou-ght this letter looking for you, he said he was your dad” he said handing me the neatly folded paper.
“My dad?” I asked confused accepting the letter
” Yes! That’s what he told me” he said
” Okay, thank you” I replied
” No problem Stella, have a good night rest” he said walking in
My dad s£nt me this letter, after 6 years???
I couldn’t hold in the anxiety again, I quic-kly opened the letter to see what was written in it.
✍️ Stella, I know I’ve wronged you and Jason in many ways. It’s so in human of me to just write a letter to you guys after 6 years of leaving you. But just to let you know, I c@m£ over to the house, you weren’t around but Jason chased me away, he didn’t want you to see me, he think I’ve come to harm you guys. I deserve more than that Stella. I just want to tell you I’m relocating to Africa, and we may never see again. I’ve been a failure, and I want to rebuild my life over there. I just hope you both find happiness. I’m relocating with your step mom and step sister, once again Stella, I really hope you both forgive me, especially Jason, I really don’t like the way he turned out and I know it’s all because of me. I hope you both succeed, Alan John✍️
I re-ad throu-gh the letter, I didn’t even know I was soa-ked with tears. How dare he, when he knew he wasn’t coming to us, why the hell did he then s£nd this letter, I’m glad I didn’t see him, cause only God knows what I would have done.
I was so annoyed that I mistakenly bu-mped into a lady.
“Oh I’m sorry” I said wiping my tears
“No problem dear, why are you crying?” She asked looking really concerned, it was then I realized it was ma’am Karen.
“It’s nothing ma’am, thanks” I said
“No, come with me, let’s go sit over there”she said pointing at the public bench not to far away from us.
“You know what dear, you can tell me anything, I promise” she said
“I just don’t know how to say it, I’ve never really told anyone about it” I said
” Trust me”she replied.
I breath in and out before finally telling her every thing.
“I un-derstand darling, I wouldn’t want to insult your father even though I know he’s really really wrong” she said
” Why?” I asked
” That’s because I’ve done worse” she said
” Really?” I asked confused
” Yes, I’ll tell you. I also left my kids when they were young. Because I was expo-sed to cruelty and I couldn’t face it, now I realized the big mistake I made, leaving my kids alone, I could have carried them along, cause if he could treat me that way, I’m sure he’d do worst to them. The most painful p@rt is that I c@m£ to Netherlands last year to get my kids, but they’ve moved from where we used to stay together. Another painful p@rt is that i Don’t even know how they look like” she said bur-sting into tears. I was really confused, I didn’t know what to do, her case was far worst than mine.
” I’m sorry ma’am Karen, you don’t have to cry, definitely, you’ll get to see them one day, plea-se” I said
” Thanks Stella, you’re a great person” she said and I smiled trying my possible best to comfort her

I walked into the house only to find mum smiling weirdly at me
“Are you okay mum?” I asked confused
“Definitely, you’re welcome honey” she said coming to pe-ck my cheeks
” You look quite happy today”I said
” It’s nothing honey, just go in, freshen up and come out from dinner, someone might be waiting for you” she said wi-nking at me
” Mum?” …
” Not another words Jeremy, just do as I say” she said and I finally gave up, taking the stairs to my room.
I opened my door, only to see the person I last expect to see.
“What the hell are you doing here?? Who let you into this house and into my room” I said angrily
” Chill Jeremy, your mum did” she replied
Oh jeez, I’m definitely leaving this house for today
