❣️ Stella’s pov ❣️
“Uhmm, we have clas-s to attend now Stella, see you soon” Romeo said as he walked away with Stephanie beside him.
I guess I’d see Olivia during break hour, since Romeo alre-ady confirmed her to be a late chick. I really have a lot of ‘thank you’ to say to her.

Today, we were finally learning how to sing short line in music. But the p@rt freaking me out is the fact that he is asking anyone he wants randomly to sing a note from what he taught us. And almost everyone he called seems perfect to me, I must admit that this school is filled with a beautiful Melody. My prayer now is for him not to see me talk more of picking me out, cause of he does, I’m really gonna fumble over there.
“Thanks to you all, I really love your performance today, I can alre-ady boast of ma-king the best student in this school our of you guys, I just want to encourage you all to learn to focus and practice more so you could all pas-s your test and move to a higher and more important grade. Remember, it’s gonna be an oral test and we would have highly professional judges from all over the world and are really specialized in music. Your future in this school is in your hands guys. I also want to advise everyone of you not to look down on your abilities, I wish you all good luck, thank you” he finally concluded and I heaved a sigh of relief but it was actually cut short by that nosey teacher.
“Hey you there” I heard the teacher called, I looked at his direction and noticed he was pointing at my direction. Since I was sitting with no one p@rticularly, it was clear he was referring to me, so I decided to stand up on my feet.
“I guess you’re new here” he said and I nodded.
“May I know your name?” He asked
“I’m Stella” I replied.
“Stella?” He said
“Stella John” I replied
” Do I know your dad, I mean what position does your dad holds in the state or maybe the country at large? ” He asked ma-king me wonder why he should even ask me such question when it’s in no way related to what he was teaching.
“Nothing” I finally replied after brooding and everyone bur-sted into a round of laughter.
“Silence plea-se. I guess you c@m£ into this school on deposit cause it’s weigh to expensive for you to afford then” he said
” Yes” I replied.
” Young lady, I wish you good luck here, good day” get said finally leaving as everyone begin a new phase of gossip and laughter
Jeez!! That man is such an annoying teacher, I wonder what he’s teaching the students to do.
I sadly walked out of the clas-s, like being disgraced isn’t enough. I’m also the t©pic of gossip in clas-s. I just don’t know why everyone can’t just be like Olivia and Romeo or maybe even Stephanie.
I was still in search of Olivia when a voice st©pped me.
“Hey dear, come closer” she whispered and I went closer to her, it was ma’am Karen.
“Good day ma’am, nice to see you again” I said as I got to her. .
” Same here dear, you look sad, what’s wrong?” She asked
” Uhmm..it’s nothing, I just feel tired” I replied.
“You can open up to me okay, I over heard what happened when I was pas-sing by, and I must admit that your teacher is really unfair, you just have to ignore them and focus on what you’re really here for, don’t ever let them be a distraction or discouragement to you, you’re bigger than what they think, it not by your Dad status. So cheer up darling, I have to go now” she said leaving immediately not even waiting for my reply. I don’t know, but her words actually cheer me up. She’s 100% right, I think it’s time to fetch Olivia.

After searching for Olivia all to no avail, I decided to go back clas-s, since there’s nothing I can really afford in that cafeteria when I saw Olivia stumping to me, she looked really angry.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” I asked as she got to me
“Never mind” she replied angrily
“Are you sure?” I asked and she heaved a sigh.
” It’s Alexa” she replied
.”what has she done again” I asked
“I just don’t know why, but she’s really getting on my nerves. Just look at her flir-ting with Jace earlier today and he’s stupidly falling” she said
” Jace? Are you angry that she’s flir-ting with him?” I asked
” Not really, you wouldn’t un-derstand Stella, I just hate them both, Jace especially” she replied
” What did he do?” I asked
” I’m not in the mood to talk about that” she replied
” Okay, but could you at least tell me why you and Alexa are sworn enemies?” I asked
“We’re not sworn enemies, there’s no p@rticular reason for us to be enemies, she’s just the crazy one.we’ve become rivals In almost everything we do. We are supposed to best of friends if possible considering the clos£ness between her family and mine, but I just don’t see me flowing with her in anyway, I don’t flow with egocentric people, especially Alexa” she said
” Does that also apply to Jace?” I asked anxiously
“Not at all, let’s forget about Jace. I wanna show you something, something I’ve been working on for quite a long time, be my judge” she said as we both walked to where she was talking about.

It was a small fancy clas-s with a little piano in it.
“Wow!” I exclaimed as we walked In.
“You like it?” She asked
“I love it” I replied
“That’s great, well this is my very own practice room given to me by Alexa’s father, I ha-rd ly let anyone in here, but you’re special Stella” she said walking to the little chair I’m front of the piano, while I sat on the empty chair beside her.
“Just listen” she said
Wow!! She pla-ys the keyboard too.
🎶In the dark I c@m£ from, confused and down.
🎶But now I’ve met you, I feel alive…..

She kept on singing and I couldn’t st©p wowing at the melody she made, she’s great not to mention her cute voice.
“So what do you think Stella?” She asked
“Wow! You’re perfect, you sing like an angel” I replied happily
” Really? I was scared no one who like the song” she said
“What!? Are you kidding me, only a crazy person won’t love this” I said
” That would be Alexa” she said and we both bur-sted into laughter.
We talked about so many things and sometimes laughed at the funny p@rt, till Olivia brou-ght in something that changed my countenance.
“Why don’t you try a song Stella” she said
“What!..I…I..I don’t think I can” I said
” Really? But why?” She asked and I told her everything not leaving any p@rt aside.
“You’re wrong Stella” she said
“Huh?” I replied
“You shouldn’t say you’re bad at singing, you’re perfect, it’s in you, and I promise to help you. I love helping people, mostly when it involves music” she said happily.
” Are you serious?” I asked happily
” Definitely Stella, look, sitting down and saying you’re bad in music, expecting what the teacher teaches you to help won’t work at all, all you nee-d is practice, and definitely practice makes perfection, ignore everyone and say to yourself, I can do it” she said
” I can do it” I repeated after her
” That’s the spirit girl” she said
“Now, let’s try something simple, you’ll take a very short solo, anyone you know, and I’ll pl@yfor you” she said.
” Okay” I said steadying my breath before a song finally popped into my head.

I sang and surprisingly my voice didn’t crack this time, it was just normal, though not as good as I wanted.
“br@vo Stella, it seems I’ve find my very own p@rtner, you just sang one of my favorite Barbie song and I love it. You see, for a start you did great, you didn’t even crack” she said
” Am also surprised ” I replied happily.
” Thanks Olivia” I added and she win-ked
“It’s nothing swiii, what are friends for, to support and have each other’s backs”she said.
” Thanks Olivia, you’re the first person who ever cared and encouraged me that much” I said almost tearing out
” Awwn..” she said moving close to come comfort me…

🍭 Stella’s pov 🍭
I and Olivia were walking together to no where in p@rticular, we were just moving around the whole school.
“What about Romeo and Stephanie?” I asked
“Ohh! I guess you’ve met Stephanie alre-ady. Well, they are so engrossed in practicing, Stephanie is really scared and alre-ady loosing confidence, while Romeo is there to comfort her and also help her regain her alre-ady lost confidence” she replied.
” Oh! That’s so sweet”I said.
” Yh, yh. Stella? ” She called I form of a question.
” Huh? ” I replied
“Do you at least have a little idea on why everyone is staring at you that way? ” She asked worriedly.
” Yh. It seems news travels so fast in this school. It was that crazy p@n-t teacher, who disgraced himself thinking it was me earlier today” I said
” Really? Who could that be? ” She asked
“Mr Jackson” I replied
“How did he do that, what did that crazy man do this time?” She asked
“This time?” I asked confused
“Yes, he’s pretty good at bullying student, and he’s so lame. He literally worsh!ps Alexa, just to gain more favor from her Dad” she said rolling her eyes.
” Oh, I see why he wasted no time in insulting my background in front of all my p@rtners” I replied
” Really? He did that? ” She said and I nodded.
“Woah?!, Be really crossed his boundary this time, I really think I should just report him once and for all, Alexa should also quite having his back” she said looking quite paranoid.
” No no no, you don’t have to do that, he’s just a dumbas-s teacher” I said and she chuckled softly
” And a j£rk, it actually sounds familiar with his name” she said and we both bur-sted into laughter
“That’s so so true” I said amidst laughter.
We were still walking lost in laughter when Olivia accidentally bu-mped into someone, from her uniform, I could tell she was a cleaner, though she was pretty young.
Oops!!
“Hey, watch it” Olivia said almost screaming.
” Am sorry” the cleaner replied running off Immediately, I felt really bad for her. There was an awkward silence between us till Olivia decided to speak.
“Hey, why are you looking at me like that” she asked pouting.
“Nothing” I replied faking a smile.
“You’re really good at lying you know” she said
“Fine, I’ll tell you. I just don’t like the way you treated that cleaner” I said
” No way! She bu-mped into me” she argued.
“No you did, we were both engrossed in laughter, remember? ” I replied
” Really?, So what are you driving at? ” She asked staring at me with her hands folded. I gave her a light smile and she loos£ned up a bit.
“Well, what I know is that, even if you’re not at fault in such case, you should always learn to be the first to apologise”I said and there was some moment of silence between us.
” I guess you’re right. You’re the second person telling me this after my mum. She would be so glad to discover I’ve found a friend like you” she said smiling genuinely displa-ying her cuteness.
” Awwwn, I’m so honored” I said in sarcasm and she chuckled hitting me pla-yfully
“What about you and Stephanie? You guys don’t seem that close” I said.
” Yh, yh, you’re pretty right. She always feel insecure with Romeo female friends especially me” she said
” You’re totally right Olivia, I could s-en-se it this morning, she almost r!pp£dmy head off with her eyes when she saw I and Romeo together” I said and she chuckled
” Well, putting that aside, I still think she’s a really good friend” she said and I nodded in agreement.
We talked at length, joking about some certain stuff, till I noticed Olivia mood swing to 0 with her gaze on something. I followed her gaze only to find Alexa laughing and flir-ting with Jace. They weren’t really far from us, but I could s-en-se that Alexa was doing it on purpose, cause she was stylishly glancing at Olivia as she laughed and flir-t with him. But it seems Jace didn’t notice we we’re that close to them or even around. Jeez!! This Alexa is something else.

We were now back at Olivia’s practice room. She seemed quite sad but was also trying to hide it from me.
“Can I ask a question?” I requested
“Sure” she replied
” Is there anything between you and Jace?” I asked
“Nothing” she replied staring into space.
” Well from Alexa’s reaction when she saw you, I think there’s something” I replied
” It’s nothing Stella, Alexa is just doing that to get me jealous. Jace doesn’t even like her, neither does she. They’re both deceiving themselves. Her main purpose is to get closer to Jeremy throu-gh him But to be sincere, Alexa is at the greatest risk, Jace isn’t who she thinks he is.” She said
” Is Jace a bad person? ” I asked confused.
” No, I don’t know, enough about Jace alre-ady” she said looking quite fed up
” Sure” I replied

It was closing hour alre-ady, I was waiting for Olivia cause we agreed to meet here.
Still waiting a text bugged on my phone, yes I had a phone, though it wasn’t really something I wished for, but it was enough to do some ess£ntial stuff.
💬Hey Stella, change of plans, I think you should come meet me in my clas-s,x💬
It was a text from Olivia.
💬Woah! Am I gonna be allowed in there, it’s the higher clas-s 💬 I texted back.
💬Of course, don’t panic, I really nee-d your help. If they don’t let you in, just put a call to me💬 she texted
💬Sure, be right there 💬 I replied….
I walked to Olivia clas-s, entering the surrounding, it was like a different world in that school, totally different and clas-sic, it was really a place to behold, it was the main heart of Rock and Roll.
Still walking, I almost bu-mped into a guy but was able to st©p myself.
“I’m sorry,I..” I couldn’t complete my statement when my mouth went agape, it was Jeremy, it’s such a previledge, people ha-rd ly see him, he is weigh cuter in person than in ph0to,OMG!!
Jeez, he didn’t even spare me a glance before walking away Immediately, woah! Olivia is absolutely right, such a great creature turns out to be a shadow of himself.
I nee-d to get to Olivia quic-kly, I must tell her I met with Jeremy, something I thought was never gonna happen till I leave this school.
