Ken watched Alexa slowly walk past him. His head turned slowly as he watched from behind. “Is that blood? What theâ?” He looked still shocked.
“SoftâHe tried calling but he had a second thought. “What if…? Aiish!”He thought. “Nah. There is possibly no way!” He thought again.
The guys, Eric and Ethan tried turning their gazes to Alexa but Ken rushed towards them blocking their view.
“Hey? What’s wrong with you?” Ethan asked quite startled.
“Uh.. Nothing, GUYS!!” He suddenly yelled which jo-lted them.
“What? What?” They asked simultaneously.
“Huh? Let’s eat now. I’m hungry” Ken smiled
“I am too but we’ve got to wait for Alex” Eric frowned
“I’m really really hungry…Ouch! My stomach hurts” He faked a loud gr0@nholding his stomach.
“Let’s just eat. Alex will join us later” Ethan ch!pped in.
“Thank God you agreed with me. You’re the best” Ken smiled giving him a f!nger heart.
“Gross!” Ethan scoffed
“What’s wrong huh?” Ken tea-sed
“Why did you give me a f!nger heart?”
“Because I love you, Muuuah!”
“Hey! Disgusting! Do I look like a g@y to you?”
“No” Ken laughed.
Eric left to bring the food while the Ken and Ethan sat down.
“Huh? Ethan… I’m gonna make this quic-k” Ken sniffed
“What’s that?”
“I wanna get a sanitary pad but uhh.. It’s kinda embarras-sing soâ
“Why do you nee-d it?” Ethan cut in very surprised.
“It’s just.. uh, My sister asked for it”
“Your sister? Can she get it herself?”
“No. She got menstrual cramps and can’t really get up”
“Oh. That’s bad. So, you wanna get one for her and rush back to her place?”
“Yeah. She lives close by you know” Ken chuckled
“So? How do you want me to help?”
“Huh. You know I’m a shy type”
“So?”
“Can you get it for me, plea-se”
“Huh. Wait? Is that why you were giving me those f!nger heart. You were trying to make me happy and win my heart huh?” Ethan laughed. Ken smiled and nodded.
“Well. Today is your lucky day” Ethan said
“What? Really?? Why do you say so?” He asked happily
“I have a sanitary pad in my roomâ
“What? Sanitary pad? What are you doing with that? Are you a per-vert?” Ken interrupted shocked
“That was what Alex thought when she saw me buying it. That day I was pretty ashamed when I saw the delivery boy! Aiish, It’s still embarras-sing up to d@tÂŁ” Ethan said s-en-sing electric shocks run down his b©dy. He felt weird.
“But,.. Why is a sanitary pad in your room”
“It’s a long story. Maybe later I’m gonna explain?Aiish! Infact, Just forget it… I won’t tell you a thing. It’s in my brown bag, The second side by the right” Ethan explained. Ken stared at him still puzzled and shocked. He moved his head slightly to the right in thought and stood up. He hurried to Ethan’s room.
“Hmm.. I guess Laura was right. I did give it to some girl. I was doubtful then” He thought.

Secretly and Discreetly, Ken walked to the bathroom door. He clenched his hand into a fist and was about knocking. He hesitated suddenly with a sigh. He felt his heart beating.
“Breathe in… Uhhm, Breath Out.. Ahhh” He said to himself.
“If I knock she might not respond. Alex, Or whoever you are. I’m trying to help you here” He thought and he held the door knob. He pushed it slowly and heard Alexa’s shaky voice;
“Who’s that?”. Ken opened his mouth to answer her but his name refused to form. He couldn’t reply that.
“I can’t just barge inside! What if… What if softball is really a girl? Yikes!” He thought shivering. He inhaled de-eply and asked;
“Are you wearing something?”
“What?” c@mÂŁ Alexa’s reply. Ken sighed and bit hisl-ips. He was in de-ep thoughts. He had to do something!. She was probably stuck in the middle of the blue sea and the devil.
“Don’t worry…I’m here to help” He f0rç£d himself to say after mustering up all the courage he would nee-d. He slowly returned back to pushing the door knob slowly.
“This stupid door bolt” He thought closing his eyes. He opened the door just a little and stretched his hand out of it. Ken noticed the silence and saw Alexa didn’t take it.
“She’s probably scared and shocked” Ken thought.
“My hand is getting so-re? Won’t you take it?” He asked.
Soon, He felt his hand was now light. She collected it alre-ady. Ken heaved a sigh of relief and shut the door properly without ma-king a sound.
After doing that, He opened his eyes and folded hisl-ips. “Like seriously? What the hell?” He thought as he walked away. His trembling legs made fun of his movements.
“Hey? Are you back alre-ady?” Ethan asked eating. “I didn’t see you leave though” He added
“Huh? I decided not to go” His weak voice replied
“What’s wrong with him?” Eric asked almost laughing.
“He’s out of it. I wonder what happened” Ethan laughed.

Minutes Later, Alexa c@mÂŁ out. Her hair was we-t including her clothes.Water dr!ppÂŁddown her face and her fair complexion stood up. Her beautiful face was brou-ght to life and her pinkâalmostâtoâreddishl-ips shone out. Eric and Ethan stared at her but Ken re-moved his eyes off her quite still feeling awkward.
“Why are you so we-t? Did you jump into a pool of water with your clothes on or what?” Ethan asked standing up.
“What happened Alex? Did you shower with your clothes on?” Eric asked
“I’m so sorry but can I borrow your clothes?” She asked changing the subject.
“Yes” Ethan and Eric answered simultaneously. Ken looked at them suspiciously while the guys faced each other.
“Eric, Let me give him mine”
“What? No. Let me give him mine”
Ken slammed his face,stood up and walked away. What’s this messed up sh*t?. It’s confusing asfu-ck?.
“Uhh.. Guys, You know what. I’m just gonna take from Ethan. I love his clothes” Alexa smiled. Ethan smiled back while Eric sighed. He f0rç£d a smile and nodded.
“Okay then” Eric said. Ethan c@mÂŁ forward and led Alexa into his room.
He gave her some clothes which she changed into. However, She changed behind his back. She didn’t want to be noticed by Ethan. Not now! Aiish! Why did Ken have to find out huh? If not for this menstâ
“Your hair is we-t. Should I dry it for you?” Ethan’s voice woke her from her thoughts.
“What?” Alexa asked tou-ching her we-t hair. Ethan chuckled and showed her the towel he held, He pointed to her we-t hair.
“Oh my hair..I guess you will have to help me then” Alexa smiled
“Sit” Ethan told her. She obeyed and sat on the be-d. Ethan walked up to her slowly and placed the dry towel on her hair after reaching where she was.
He got busy with the hair drying but he was so distracted. How could a guy make him feel this way?. He swallowed ha-rd nervously and kept on staring at her. Alexa looked at his clothed b©dy which faced her as he got busy with his work.
“Alex?” He finally called breaking the silence. His voice was soft and low.
“What?” She asked looking up at him. Ethan moved backwards a bit and kept the towel on the be-d next to her.
“I wanna check something” He whispered again.
“What’s that?” Alexa asked.
“Can you show me a f!nger heart?”
“What? Why?” Alexa asked wi-dening her eyes.
“Just do it” He said. He wanted to truly check how he might feel. Would he feel disgusted? Irritated? Awkward? Weird? Embarras-sed? Loved? Or what? His thoughts ran in circles.
Alexa looked at him confused and shrugged her shoulders sprouting herl-ips.
“Okay then” She finally answered. Slowly, She lifted her arm a bit high and raised her f!nger over her head and there you have it, She made a cute heart shape with her girlish soft hand. A f!nger HEART!. Ethan stared at her the more and felt his heart fluttering. What was this feeling? What is really happening?.
He was alre-ady in a sweet imagination where they were the only ones in the planet. He saw rays of light and stars falling. Beautiful flowers were blooming with Beautiful bu-tterflies in them.
He didn’t know when he smiled heartily. Alexa smiled back and then, The cutest, sweetest, Heart warming smile was formed, created and brou-ght! Beautiful Mode Activated!.
Ethan kept staring and inhaled de-eply after some time. He was crazy! He knew that!. He took few steps closer to Alexa retrieving the steps he took back.
“Alex… Can I check something?” He whispered. Alexa blinked her eye after raising her head to look at him. She swallowed ha-rd and nodded twice.
There was Silence, de-ep. Ultimate. Fierce. Only their nervous loud heart beats could be heard. Ethan swallowed ha-rd and bent his head to her. They looked at each other for a while. Finally, Ethan raised his hand and t©uçhed her face. Alexa blinked her eyes.
Ethan closed his eyes gently as he pushed hisl-ips towards her. quic-kly, Alexa ti-ght£ñed her hand grip on her knees as she closed her eyes too.
Slowly, Their k!ssablel-ips started reaching out for each other.
