Tim was talking to Officer Ibano when he heard his phone’s notification bell.
“Excuse me, I will just check the notification,” Tim excuse his self from Officer Ibano.
“Sure, Mr. Tan.” Officer Ibano replied.
Tim shoved his hand inside his pocket and pulled out his phone. He turned on his phone to check the notification.
Tim knitted his brows when he realized it was a notification from Kira!
She has turned on the tracker!
Tim’s eyes slowly went wide opened and he becomes rattled when he remembers what he said to Kira when he gave her the watch, ‘Just press the bu-tton when you’re in danger, I can find you wherever you are,’ Those words echoed in Tim’s mind!
‘Kira is in danger right now!’
“Mr. Tan, are you alright?” Officer Ibano asked when he noticed Tim’s changed of expression.
Tim slowly shifted his gaze to Officer Ibano, “We have to leave!” Tim said, rattled.
“W-What?” Officer Ibano asked with his knitted brows.
“My wife is in danger!”
“Mr. Tan, how did you know that?” Officer Ibano asked.
“She activated her tracker, she might have noticed something strange around her,” Tim replied.
“But Mr. Tan—” Officer Ibano was not able to finish his word when Tim suddenly grabbed his collar!
“There are threats to my wife’s life and I nee-d your help to save her before it’s too late. I don’t know what I could do to you if something bad happens to her.” Tim said with his gritted teeth. He was like a dragon that could blaze fire at any moment.
“M-Mr. Tan, please, stay calm,” Officer Ibano tried to calm Tim.
Tim snapped back to his senses, he slowly loosens his grip on Officer Ibano’s collar. He glanced on his phone, he can see the map on the screen and the red dot on it. His anxiousness increa-sed when he saw the red dot moving away from its location.
“She’s leaving the hospital” Tim blurted out..
“Did you try to call her, Mr. Tan?” Officer Ibano asked.
Tim tried to dial Kira’s phone, but he couldn’t reach her. He also called the two bodyguards but either of them wasn’t answering their phones.
‘This is not good!’ Tim said inside!
Tim called Coby, “Coby, send me ten men now, I will send my location,” Tim said and then he ended the call. He then looked at the map on his phone again, ‘Kira is heading outside the City!’
Tim looked at Officer Ibano again, “They’re not answering my call,” Tim said.
Officer Ibano nodded his head, he then called other officers to come with him!
Tim hurriedly got out of the police station and rode in his car and so as Officer Ibano and his men.

Kira was half awake, she was having a headache and her world was shaking. She slowly opened her eyes, but it was blurry and she couldn’t see clearly, so, she closed her eyes again. It took a few seconds before she opened her eyes again, and now, she can slowly see things.
Kira looked around, she was stunned when she realized that she was inside a car lying in the backseat. She instantly raised her body.
“You’re awake!” Kira heard a man’s voice from the driver’s seat.
Kira instantly looked at the driver, she couldn’t see his face but she tells from his voice that he is a bit old.
“Who are you?!” Kira asked with a raised voice.
The man just grinned as he glanced at the rearview mirror.
Kira looked outside the window, all she can see are trees.
“Where are you bringing me?!” Kira asked again, still, in her strong voice, she won’t show to this man that she is afraid!
“Hehehe,” The man grinned as he stopped the car, “Here we are!” He said.
Kira knitted her brows, “Where is this place?” she mumbled.
The man took off his seatbelt, he took his gun on the dashboard and got off the car. He then walks to the backseat, opened it and grabbed Kira.
“Hey! You’re hurting me!” Kira complained but the man seems like he heard nothing as he continued to pull Kira.
“Hey!” Kira yelled again.
The man pushed Kira to the ground which made her plunged into the cement ground.
Kira gritted her teeth as she felt the pain in her arms, she turned her head and threw the man a sharp gaze.
But then, her expression slowly changed when she saw the man’s face!
“Y-You?!” Kira blurted out in a startled expression.
The man smi-rked, “It’s good that you have recognized me!” The man said with his sharp gaze.
“Mr. Fuente, why are you doing this to me?!”
“Ah,” Mr. Fuente took a de-ep breath, “You should blame your father,” Mr. Fuente said.
Kira froze, “Y-You know my father?” She asked.
“How could I not know the man who betrayed me?” Mr. Fuented replied.
“What are you saying?” Kira still wears her fierce look.
“We’re not here to do storytelling, but well, since you’re going to die anyway, I think it’s better to tell you the truth!”
“What truth?!” Kira stood up from the ground. She did not mind her wounds in her arms and elbows.
“Don’t you remember this place,?” Mr. Fuente played the guns in his hands.
Kira stared at Mr. Fuente with her blank expression,
“Why won’t you look around and try to remember this place?” Mr. Fuente said to Kira.
Kira looked around, indeed. This place seems familiar!
Kira’s expression changed when she realized that this was the same place where the accident that took her parent’s lives happened.
Kira’s face turned pale and her body trembled. She can still clearly remember everything
“Why?”
“Have you remember how selfish you are to save your self and let your parents die?” Mr. Fuente narrowed his eyes.
“N-No,” Kira shook her head. “No!” She repeated as tears started to fill her eyes.
“Isn’t it true? You let your parents die!” Mr. Fuente repeated!
“No!” Kira covered her ears.
“I did not let them die!” She yelled as she closed her eyes.
God knows how ha-rd she tried to call for help, but she was too weak at that time due to her injuries!
“Ha!” Mr. Fuente let out a sarcastic laugh, “Of course, you didn’t,” He said.
Kira slowly opened her eyes, but Mr. Fuente’s next word was like a bomb that exploded in front of her!
“Because I did”
“W-What?” Kira was stunned.
“Ah,”
Mr. Fuented annoyingly raised his head and tilted it from left to right as if he was doing an exercise.
He lowered his head again and looked at Kira with his cold gaze. “Do you want to know how I did it?” He asked as if he was just asking a simple thing.
*(Flashback)*
Back to the night when they celebr@ted Kino’s promotion.
Mr. Fuente planned the surprise pa-rty. The pa-rty was just a cover-up, for his main goal. To finally get rid of Kino.
When Kino got out of the restaurant to answer Ara’s call, the young Mr. Fuente hurriedly yet carefully took a small container from his pocket.
Mr. Fuente looked at the people in front of them. They were enjoying the night and no one noticed his strange behavior. When he made sure that no one was looking at him, he secretly opened the container which contains powdered sleeping pills!
Mr. Fuente glanced at his co-workers again before he took Kino’s gl@$$ and put the powder on it, he then added alcohol on it.
Just then, kino came back from the outside.
“I’m sorry, but I have to go, my wife called me,” Kino said.
Mr. Fuente looked at Tim.
“I thought, they were out of town?” He asked.
“Yeah, they just got back from out of town trip,” Tim replied.
Mr. Fuente got anxious, he did not plan to give Kino the drink right away, but he shouldn’t leave without drinking it, otherwise, his plan will be a failure.
With that thought, Mr. Fuente finds a way to make Kino drank the alcoholic drink on the gl@$$.
“Why won’t you take the last shot before leaving?” Mr. Fuente said as he lifted the gl@$$ and gave it to Kino.
This is the perfect chance to get rid of Kino. The sleeping pills will work in an hour, he will still be driving when the effect of the sleeping pill occur. He could fall asleep while driving and might get into an accident.
If something bad happens to Kino, Mr. Fuente will have a chance to get back to Ara.
Yes, He will be on her side until she realized that he is the one who loves her truly!
And for her daughter? He surely can find a way of how to deal with her.
The Young Mr. Fuente heaved a sigh o relief when Kino took the gl@$$ from his hand and drank the content of the gl@$$. At that very moment, he knew that he has the 90% chance to succeed in his plan.
However, Mr. Fuente did not expect that Kino will fetch Ara and Kira at the bus terminal.
The Young Mr. Fuente followed kino forty-five minutes after Kino left. He wanted to check on him, he couldn’t wait for the news tomorrow.
Mr. Fuente drove to the Hilltop Village, he knew, Kino might just be here, somewhere. He continued to drive, he was full of anxiety, he wasn’t sure if he succeeded in his plan.
Mr. Fuente was blinded by his hatred and jealousy, he doesn’t feel guilty of his plan, he thought that Kino must die, to give way for him and Ara.
Mr. Fuente’s heart started to beat fas-ter when he reached the sharply curved pa-rt of the road.
His hands and feet turned, as his heart beats fas-ter due to anxiousness.
Just a few meters away, Mr. Fuente saw a wrecked car on the edged of the cliff and he can recognize it. He instantly stepped on the br@ke.
He pulled over the car a few steps away from the wrecked car. He got off to check of Kino, but then, he was stunned to see a child lying on the ground.
Mr. Fuente walked closer to the child lying on the ground. His eyes went wide open as he realized that it was the little Kira.
The child’s face was full of blood. She looked so weak, and could bȧrėly open her eyes.
He saw how she struggled. She saw how she wanted to raise her hand and asked for help.
Mr. Fuente snapped back to his senses
‘N-No!’ He cried inside!
‘A child!’
Mr. Fuente’s mind has gone in chaos. His target was Kino only, but he implicated the child.
Mr. Fuented felt like he would go crazy. He stepped back with his gaze never left the child’s bloody face.
Mr. Fuented was about to walk away, but his footsteps came to a stop when he heard a woman’s voice!
“Help!”
Mr. Fuente stopped in his track. He knows that voice.
It’s Ara’s!
With that thought, Mr. Fuente instantly turned back to the wrecked car.
“Ara!” He called as he ran to the car!
Indeed. He wasn’t wrong.
“Ara!” Mr. Fuente called Ara’sname as he reached the car.
“Help me!” Ara begged while crying.
“Don’t move too much!” Mr. Fuente said, rattled. He is afraid that the car might fall to the bott-om of the cliff with Ara inside.
Ara couldn’t stop crying and Mr. Fuente felt like someone clutched his heart seeing his only love, crying.
“Don’t worry, I will save you,” Mr. Fuente a-ssured.
“No,” Ara said as tears continued to flow to her face.
“Please, save my husband first,” She said.
Mr. Fuente froze…
“W-What?” He blurted out.
“Please, save my husband first,” Ara repeated.
Mr. Fuente did not response.
‘Ha!’ he laughed at himself sarcastically.
‘She wants me to save the person that I wanted to die!’
Mr. Fuente mocked his self. ‘He is doing everything just to be with her, but, yet, she’s doing everything for another man.
“Richa-rd, ” Ara called Mr. Fuente with her trembling voice.
Mr. Fuente snapped back to his senses. He looked at Ara.
“Please, save my husband, help him out, please.” Ara continued to beg.
Mr. Fuente’s face turned cold as he looked at the unconscious Kino in the driver’s seat.
He then shifted his gaze to Ara, “What could I get in return?” He asked coldly.
Ara froze…
“W-What?” She blurted out!
“What could I get in return if I save your husband?” Mr. Fuente asked again.
“What are you saying, Richa-rd? How could you still ask about it in this situation?” Ara started to get furious!
“I will save your husband, but…” Mr. Fuente paused for a moment as if thinking for the right words to say.
“But you have to come with me.” He added.
“Let’s leave this place and have a happy life together, let’s run away from here and start a new life somewhere.”
Ara looked at Richa-rd in disbelief!
“Y-You want me to leave my family for you?!” Ara asked with her eyes wide opened. She couldn’t believe it!
Richa-rd is such a self-centered person.
He only thinks of himself!
Mr. Fuente looked at Ara straight to the eyes and say, “Yes!”
“I can’t believe you, Richa-rd. How could you take advantage of my situation?!” Ara shook her head.
“All I want is to get back to you, Ara, you were supposed to be married to me and not with that traitor!” Mr. Fuente pointed out Kino.
“I never regretted that I married Kino!” Ara’s anger arises.
“Kino is such a good person. You are nothing compared to him!” She added. “I was thankful that you were not the one I married, otherwise, I made a wrong decision. I love Kino, and no one can ever replace him, I would rather die with him than to be with a cruel man like you!”
Ara’s words are like a knife that stabbed Richa-rd’s heart. It was just a word, but it felt so painful. The kind of pain that is so ha-rd to endure. It was like a knife keeps on stabbing his heart until it bleeds.
‘I would rather die with him than to be with a cruel man like you!’
‘I would rather die with him than to be with a cruel man like you!
‘I would rather die with him than to be with a cruel man like you!’
Those words keep on playing on Richa-rd’s mind. He lost his focus!
Why those words keep on playing in his mind?
Mr. Fuente’s eyes darted left and right and couldn’t focus on where to look, his breath turned fast.
‘I would rather die with him than to be with a cruel man like you!’
Richa-rd covered his ears, ‘Those words, he hates to hear those words!’
‘A word of rejection!’
He hates to be rejected!
‘I would rather die with him than to be with a cruel man like you!’
Those words awaken the anger in Richa-rd’s heart. The anger of being betrayed by his best friend.
‘She wanted to die with him?’
Richa-rd stopped struggling, he slowly lifted his head and looked at Ara inside the car. Ara’s fears increa-sed as she saw Richa-rd’s reaction. He was like an insane person.
Ara’s heartbeat became fas-ter when she saw Richa-rd suddenly changed his behavior, from being like an insane person into an evil expression.
He changed his attitude in just a blink of an eye. Richa-rd’ s gaze sharpened as he looked at Ara.
“You want to die with him?” He asked with his bloodshot eyes.
“Are you going to kill us?” Ara asked in a sarcastic tone.
“I will grant your wish, darling, you would rather die than to see you with another man.” Richa-rd said evilly before he turned and get back to his car.
He rode in his car again, anger and jealousy could be seen in his eyes as he looked at the wrecked car ahead of him.
Richa-rd turned on the engine, he put his hands in the steering wheel, the car was in neutral. He stepped on the accelerator which made a “Crang” sound.
‘Die!’ Mr. Fuente moved the gear stick before he stepped on the accelerator again and drove the car heading straight to Kino’s car.

Ara’s gaze followed Richa-rd.
‘What is he going to do?’ She asked herself.
‘No!’
‘Whatever he’d do, I am sure that it won’t be good!’
With that thought, Ara tried to wake up Kino again. They have to get out of the car before Richa-rd does something bad to them.
“Kino, Kino wake up, please!” Ara shook Kino but he was still irresponsive.
Ara doesn’t want to give up easily. She un-buckled Kino’s seatbelt and tried to move him but it only made the car move a little.
“Aahh!” Ara screamed due to fright!
She was so anxious.
They can’t rush to go out of the car for it might move again.
“Kino, please, we have to—” Ara froze when she heard a car’s engine. She turned her head behind the car, she saw a car’s headlight and her eyes went wide opened as she realized that it was heading towards them.
“No!” Ara screamed, but it was too late!
Mr. Fuente purposely hit Kino’s car with a strong impact.
A loud sound of a car crash could be heard and Kino’s car fell into the bott-om of the cliff with Kino and Ara inside it.
