” Where’s my wife ! ” I asked Ivan as he threw his pocket ? knife at me which I dodged .
” Where’s Grace ! He asked Angrily .

” I Fu-cking k*lled her ” he spat and as he attacked me I punched him Angrily ,he staggered back and threw a punch at me …we got into a really bl**Dy fight and he shot at me .
It tou-ched my arm and I Gr0-ned frustratedly from the pain .
I brou-ght my own Gun and fired at him Angrily …I watched as he fell to the floor lifeless .
I left his body and just before I could walk towards the other direction I saw Rico walking towards me with Lina who was held captive by our guys .
” She was trying to escape” he said and I gave a nod .
” Good ” I said and Sergio and Emelio joined us .
” Let me go ” she kept trying to leave but they didn’t let her .
” You know the punishment for those who dare to betray the mafia ” I said and she looked away without a word .
” Take her to estate …” I said to Emelio who gave a nod as he left with the guys .
” Where’s Grace ? I asked and Sergio ru-bbed his forehead .
“Am i talking to myself Rico ? Where’s my wife ! I asked and he bit his lower li-p .
” Bro …it wasn’t her fault … okay …” He trailed ..
” I don’t un-derstand what you’re saying … where’s grace ! ” I yelled and Sergio ru-bbed his forehead.
” She was bleeding bro …. Kristov took her to the estate with the others ” he said and my heart stopped beating for a second .
Immediately I got over the shock I cursed un-der my breath.
” Bro calm down ” He tried to stop me as I walked with hastened footsteps .

” Don’t …say anything to me ….stop telling me to calm down you just told me Grace was bleeding! I yelled Angrily .
” Calm down …” He said and I just ignored him .
I warned her …I gave her simple instructions not to leave the house but no …she wouldn’t listen to me ….
She didn’t think about me when she put herself and our Childs life in danger .
I was worried for her , but I was more mad at her for not listening to what I said to her She let her heart rule knowing her condition .
Immediately we arrived at the mansion I Rushed upstairs to our room and she was laying unconscious .
There was a female Doctor with them in the Room and some nurses .
” How is she ? I asked and Kristov looked at me sadly .
” She … huh” he trailed.
” She what ? I spat angrily.
” The impact of the kick on her stomach was too much the child couldn’t survive it …..” He said and I looked away as I gave a nod .
” She’s still naive Mas-simo … she’s new to all of this …you …”

I walked downstairs again and saw there was tension in the sitting room and Dad and Mom where having a heated argument ..
” What’s going on? i asked and mom looked at me then at Dad .
” It’s nothing ” she said camly as tears rolled outta her eyes .
” It can’t be nothing ,you where both at each other’s throats just now ! Rico said frowning as he walked in with Sergio …
Not too long Emelio also walked in with Uncle Alfonso his wife .. Yvonne and Dimitri.
” It’s nothing” mom said staring at Sergio .
” Where’s Lina ? Dad asked and I frowned I was already Mad at Grace for the loss of our child …
I’d left Our room and trying my best to be strong after what kristov told me .
Grace had lost our first child ….the hurt was just too much for me ….
” She was part of the Balandin’s team to end us father , why would you ask after her ? ” I asked frowning .
” I just wanted …” He trailed
” To know if he could say his final goodbyes to the love of his life …Right Santiago ? Mom Asked sacarstically .
” Giovanna ” Dad scolded .
” What ? Why don’t you just tell them the truth that our marriage has never been Rosy from the beginning ” she asked as tears rolled out of her eyes crazily .
” This is not the right time for this and you know it for goodness sake Grace just lost our first grandchild Giovanna ! Dad fired at her .
” Oh don’t you dare turn the tables Santi , Grace lost the baby because of your mistress ! She lost the baby because lina teamed up with the Balandin’s and kidnapped her ….

” Wh …..at are you guys talking about ” kristov beat all of us as he asked .
” That’s the truth your father has been cheating on me with Lina and I’ve known about it … for more than 30 years now …” She said and my heart just broke for the second time in one night.
” Mom….” I trailed trying to get her to calm down,since it was normal for men in the mafia to cheat ….but what hurt more was the word that followed next .
” Would you stop this madness Giovanna you’re hitching to tell everyone the truth then fine you can go ahead and tell Sergio that lina is his mom go ahead ! Mom said and we all.froze .
” Wh…ats” Dad talking about? Sergio asked camly .
” That’s a lie son …you’re my baby …Sergio ,your my son don’t listen to your father okay” mom said as she cried bitterly.
” I don’t un-derstand why would dad say something like that if it wasn’t…” He trailed .
” I said let it go! Mom yelled at him as she cried .
” what sought of madness is going on here ? How would you say Sergio is Lina’s son with father ! I asked mad already .

” Shut up ….Sergio ! That’s nonsense we’re all the Deluca brothers ” Frederico spat Angrily .

” Come here …why do you feel that Lina being your mom …makes you different from the rest of my children Sergio ? Your my son okay….your my favorite remember ” mom said as she ki-ssed his forehead .
I glared daggers at Dad and he ru-bbed his forehead tiredly.
” You’re all getting me wrong I’m not saying Lina should be set free , I don’t know why y’all feel I’m still inlove with Lina it’s been years Giovanna when would you forgive me “Dad said camly .
” You just asked about her ! Mom fired at him .
” Because they brou-ght her to the estate , I asked because of the perfect punishment for her betrayal ‘” He said and mom Looked away .
” Really you asked about that ? Uncle Alfonso asked and he glared at him .
” Stay out of this Alfonso ” Dad said frowning .
” He’s definitely in this ” Mom said and Yvonne chuckled softly.
” She’s in the dungeons and would be served with her befitting punishment … anyone who betrays the mafia pays with his or her life ” I said and looked over at Sergio .
” I nee-d to sleep…” He said and as he left we we’re all worried about his feelings .
He must be so hurt .
” Cousin ” Yvonne said as she walked over to me .
I was at the pool side smoking with a bottle of Alcoholic wine .
” Yvonne ” I said camly and she sighed .
” You’re Quiet …Grace has regained consciousness for some time now ” she said and I just looked away.
” I know you’re mad at her but your support is what she nee-ds right now … please” she said and I ignored her .
” Cousin….” she trailed
” Yvonne I nee-d to be alone ” I said and she sighed softly as she left .
I’m Mad at Grace,I’m trying my best not to be but the pain in my heart keeps increasing .

” …no …it’s a lie ….it’s …it’s a lie ! I pannicked as my mother inlaw Held my hands .
” Calm down Grace …!
” No ! ..I still have my child in me please ” I cried bitterly.
” Grace ….” Yvonne Called as she cried .
” Grace ….calm down .. okay …you’d Definitely get over this ,your a strong woman ‘ she whispered as she pulled me into a hu-g whilst I cried bitterly .
” Mas-simo…. Would be so mad at me …he won’t forgive me …I promised not to leave the house ! I cried bitterly
“The deed has already been done ,Grace listen to me …what you did was what everyone who isn’t used to our world would do …you didn’t know Lina’s intention and you loved and saw her as a mother …” She trailed.
” I loved her ….I lost my baby because I trusted blindly …I just ” I trailed as I cried .
” It’s okay …” She said as she hu-gged me close .
I was able to take a shower and change up but I still cried for sometime …due to the hurt of loosing the baby .
I felt emence guilt for loosing my baby …it’s all my fault ,I risked my child’s life ” I cried as I covered my face whilst in the Bed room alone .
Mas-simo didn’t come to our room throu-ghout the night ,I knew he was mad at me and it just hurt me more .
” Please forgive me Mas-simo” I whispered softly as I hu-gged my pillow close .
I’d managed to sleep at the late hours of the morning and when I woke up I felt his protective hands around me …I placed my hands on my li-ps as I cried bitterly .
I lost the baby
I hurt Mas-simo …..
I watched as he woke up and wore his room sli-ppers .
” My love I …” I trailed and he ignored me as he walked into the bathroom .
He’s Still Angry .
I tried to talk to him but he wouldn’t respond but he acted as if everything was normal between us .
That went on for good two weeks ,he would pull me into his arms whilst we slept ..eat with me…make sure i took my medicine every night , but we had this gap between us .
It was terribly bad because he wouldn’t even ki-ss me , I was sick and tired of it already .
I wanted my husband back and I made up my mind to confront him that night .
He Walked into the room and immediately he opened his laptop I closed back immediately .
He raised his beautiful eyes and looked at me.
” I’m not in the mood for any madness Grace ” he said and my jaws dropped.
” Are you trying to call me a mad woman ? I asked Angrily .
” I didn’t say anything ,you insinuated it ” he said and I glared daggers at him.
” We’re talking tonight no matter what ! I said and he stared at me.
” About what ? The fact that you let your stubbornness hurt the both of us ? He asked sacarstically and my heart hurt as my eyes stung with tears .
” No …or the fact that you didn’t think twice of what could have happened if you died , how I’d feel …hu.h…! He thun-dered angrily and I flinched .
” I thought of it …ok …how was I supposed to know Lina had other intentions” I cried bitterly .
” Baby I’m sorry ….” I cried and he just stared at me as I cried .
” What…if…” He trailed and I cried …
He pulled me into his arms and tears rolled out of my eyes as I felt his tears touch my ne-ck I cried ha-rder
” I’m sorry ” I cried and he ru-bbed my back .
” I’m sorry too love …” He said and i smiled sadly
