Penny’s POV:
After taking my bath, I wore a black long dress British promised me back tonight so I wanted to look good I don’t know why but I just wanted to.
“ Mum when will Arley be here I miss her so much.” Chris said and i sighed.
“They will be here soon maybe there is traffic on the road. Come let’s go set the table for dinner.” I told him and he jumped up in happiness.
Chris and we started dishing out the food for dinner·
30 minutes later and they are not yet here.
I was worried.
I picked up my phone and dial this number but he wasn’t picking up·
What could have happened?
After waiting for so long I told Chris to eat his dinner and went back to be-d.

“ where is Chris?” He asked me.
“He sle-pt off few hours ago, he was so excited about meeting Arley again.” I said and sat down on the couch.
“I’m sorry for coming late, i was dealing with something.” He said calmly.
He sounded dull.
“Are you alright? What happened?”
I felt like something happened before he arrived here, but he wasn’t saying a word about it.
I was worried as well, what could have went wrong?
When he didn’t say a word and I decided not to push it.
I stood up from the couch and led him to the dining table.
“Here, take a seat let’s eat.” I told him with a smile.
After we had dinner Bryce and I sitted on the couch discussing.

I know it is nothing to what he could afford but still, i wanted to gift him something.

“I dont know? Open it to find out.” I told him, he grinned boyishly and to-re open the wra-p.

Penny’s POV:
To be honest I wasn’t expecting that Bryce will ever love me, which was surprising.
why would he love a ruined Woman Like Me he can have any woman of your choice.
” I am speechless I didn’t know what to say you can you can you can’t possibly want me.” I said but he just shook his head.
“You’re everything that I want in a woman, you possess them all.
I love you penny and I want to spend my time with you, with our children,I want to love you take care of you.
I’m not saying this for it’s to be perfect, I’m saying this because that’s what I want to do, I want to be there for you I want to be the one you can rely on. just let me and you won’t regret it never.” He said and a ball of tear roll down my cheek.
I don’t deserve him I don’t deserve him at all he’s a nice man and having a worthless human like me in his life can ruin him.
“I’m not worthy of you Bryce, I’m too broken. I can’t.” I said and stood up from the couch.
He quic-kly stood up as well and wra-pped his hand around me from the back, tra-pping me to che-st.

He turned me around abruptly and hvgged me to himself.

“Are you tired?” He asked me and I nodded.
“Im sorry that I can’t stay awake long again.” I told him and he smiled.
“You don’t feel entitled to stay awake, come I’ll esc-rt you to your room.” He told me.
He left me back to my room and helped me settle on the be-d.
“You gon’ sleep with that on?” He asked and I shook my head.
I stepped down from the be-d and went inside my closet.
I changed into a set of pajamas and went back inside my room.
“Goodnight love, sleep well and merry Christmas.” He whispered and kssed my forehead then covered me well with the duvet.
“Goodnight.” I whispered and closed my eyes, slowly I sle-pt off.

To be honest when penny accepted me I was very happy I mean who wouldn’t be.
After she sle-pt off, I walk back to the living room and sat down on the couch.
I opened my email and got down to work, replying emails and trashing some.
Few hours pas-sed and I didn’t even know.
I checked my phone and it was 4:20 a.m.·
I switched off my phone and l@ydown on the couch, I nee-ded to take some rest before they break.

I opened my eyes to see Penny carrying two mugs of coffee.
“Good morning.” I said and sat down.

“It’s no problem,” I breathed in and collected one of the customers her.
“Thanks for this.” I told her and took a sip of the coffee, though cappuccino isn’t my style, I loved it because she made it herself.
“I don’t know if you love black coffee or sweet coffee but you can manage cappuccino.” She explained.
After drinking the coffee, I hand over the cu-p to her.
“I’ll be going back to my house to prepare for work, see you in the office love.” I said and kssed her forehead.
She stood still, a small smile formed on herl-ip.

I brushed her hair to the back of her ear and gr@bb£d my phone from the table.
“See ya.” I said and walk out of the house.
I got inside my car and drove of off to my house.
when I got there Martha told me that Zendaya was still waiting for me I wonder what she is still doing here.
I walk inside the living room and saw her sitting down with Arley beside her.
“Why are you still here?” I asked her, I pe-ck Arley’s cheek and glanced at Zen.
“You sle-pt in her house?”
“Why should I report my activities to you?” I asked her.
“I’m still your wife Bryce, I’m not going to sign the divorce papers.” She said and I turned around to face her.
