Silvia was feeling so tensed and Franca kept looking at her and Eunice saw that and pinched her,
“Uhmmm I think we have to go now, its getting late, Eunice spoke up as they waited for the nurse to arrive.
“Alright babes thanks for everything, Silvia said.
“its nothing, Bye everyone, Franca said waving at them and left with Eunice.
“I saw the way you looked at her what’s up?, Eunice said to her.
“It looks kind of cooked to me but I didn’t want to drag, Franca said.
“You don’t believe her? Or do you think she can look into a pastor eye and lie? Eunice asked.
“Hello is the pastor not a human being? What makes you think she can’t lie to safe her skin, but if she really did anything to this Alice lady then i think she does not deserve any mercy, Franca replied.
“Babe na she be your friend o, ti-ght one for that matter, Eunice said.
“And Alice was what her enemy? For her sake let that shit she said there be the truth else she will be sorry for that ghost won’t back down, if they like they should go chatter all the good pastors in Nigeria it won’t work, Franca replied.
“Let’s believe our girl is clean, I really pity her, Eunice said.
“Thats your own, any friend enemy should not be pitied, they don’t deserve it, Franca said.
“Your blood dey hot o calm down, you may be wrong why not wait until we see what happens next before concluding, Eunice said.
“This night will tell it who is lying or saying the truth, when it will happen I go dey my house sha, Franca said and Eunice smiled hitting her.
“Crazy girl, Eunice said and Franca smiled………
The nurse finally came with a wheel chair and Silvia was helped to sit on it as she was wheeled to her mother room..
They all walked in to see Silvia mother eyes closed and her husband gently tou-ched her on the forehead and she opened her eyes.
“My dear how are you? Her husband asked but she used her eyes on the room to see the people there.
“I’ll be fine don’t worry about me, Silvia mother weakly said and Silvia took her hands.
“The doctor said the operation will be successful, you’re a strong woman and you’ll surely survive this, Silvia said.
“What did they say is wrong with me? Silvia mother asked.
“I’m surprised myself you’re awake, but you’re not still safe until the operation is carried out, Frederick mother replied.
“How are you feeling? Silvia mother asked her daughter but she only shook her head.
“Can you leave us alone please? Her mother asked and they looked at themselves.
“Why? Her husband asked.
“I just want to talk with my daughter, she replied.
“Its alright let’s go, but Silvia don’t ask her any questions okay, the pastor said and they left the room closing the door behind.
“What happened? Silvia mother asked.
“I almost spill it out that I killed Alice, Silvia whispered.
“What’s wrong with you? Her mother weakly asked and had a sharp pain and winced in pain.
‘Sorry mom but I did not, i turned the story that she is haunting me because she still loves Frederick and they believed me, Silvia replied.
“I told you to leave Everything to me right? Her mother asked.
“To you? I got scared when I heard you got into an accident, that should be Alice doing right? What did you expect me to do? Silvia asked.
“And you think I will die that easily? That Alice of a girl is such a clout chaser, She replied and held her head in pains.
“Don’t worry mommy its okay you’re stressing yourself already. I’ll take care of things okay just promise me you’ll make it, Silvia said.
“Who said I was planning to leave any time soon? Her mother asked and Silvia smiled.
“Just remain calm before you’ll mess up, her mother said and Silvia nodded…………….
The doctors scheduled the time for the operation at 11pm, and the medical team walked into her room to take her out but the stretcher tyres refused to roll.
“What’s wrong? A nurse asked checking the tyres while her family were already outside to see how she will be taken to the theater.
“The tyres are fine, The nurse said and tried to push but the stretcher was so heavy, and suddenly the lights went off and Silvia mother gave out a scream and fell from the stretcher.
“What’s going on! Silvia father shouted outside as they ran in struggling with their flashlight but saw Silvia mother gasping for breath and the lights returned.
They carried her up wondering what happened and blood began to run down from her nose,
“No no no was going on! Silvia father shouted and the stretcher was now free when a nurse tried it again.
“We’ll take her to the theater now, a doctor replied.
“Take Care of Silvia please, She weakly said to her husband as she hurriedly carried out but Alice appeared on the way.
“Please stop, what do you want to know I’ tell you, They heard Silvia mllother said and they were not able to push her again as Alice stood on the road.
“There’s a prese-nce here, the pastor said as everyone felt very heavy and strange.
“Tell them what you did! Alice shouted.
“Yes, that day remember I gave you a meatpie and bottle of Mirinda when you stopped by my shop to look for Silvia. Yes I poisoned the meat pie so that your wedding wont hold, Silvia mother said and the pastor who was the only one that was not affected with her prese-nce gasped at that.
“What did I ever do to you? I called you mama because I saw you as my mother for the number of years I grew up with your daughter, Alice said.
“But you were better than her, your speed was so intimidating and somehow you began to make Silvia feel that she wasn’t in your cl@$$ because you got a good job and will get married, she replied.
“Was I? You cut me short for your daughter, and why do I feel she’s pa-rt of this plot? Alice asked.
“My daughter is not aware of what I did, stop troubling her and face me, she replied.
“You can tell that to a fool woman because am not, Alice said.
“So now you’ve heard what you wanted are you happy now? Silvia mother asked.
“Good luck on your operation. You really nee-d to witness how this world looks like since it pleased you to se-nd me here, Alice replied.
“Don’t harm my daughter I have told you all you wanted to hear, Silvia mother said and Alice disappeared. She came back to her se-nses immediately and saw everyone looking at her but felt so very weak,
“Is that true? You killed Alice? Frederick Mother asked very disappointed but she shook her head.
“You’re mistaken, she’s making me to say all of that, she’s painting me black, She shakily replied.
“Who are you lying to woman when we heard everything! Her husband shouted.
“Please I’m so harmless and you know that, this is a set up and….. She began to to-uchher ne-ck with her eyes almost popping out from it socket and she began struggling on her own.
The medical team tried what they could do but they saw her hand fall lifelessly with her eyes opened,
“She’s dead! The doctor confirmed and Frederick Mother covered her face on the wall..
“She’s so unrepentant, The pastor slowly said seeing all the drama but Frederick angrily bashed out of the room and they ran after him afraid of what he might do to Silvia who was in her room unaware of the happenings going on…………….
