Adrian POV
We heard a gun sh0t when I looked in the direction I saw nothing, I looked at the direction where we heard the gun head I saw my receptionist lying on the floor coveredwith blood.
“Tori you nee-d to go to a safe place” I said to her as she tremble in fear
The reporters we all over us as if they we’re expecting it. I ignore them and help Tori but we couldn’t take two steps before another gun was fired. I could feel a sharp pain in my back.

Victoria POV
Another gun was fired, I saw Adrian fallen down, I held his hand but it was sli-pping away.
“Adrian!!!!” I yell,but blood was gushing out of him, Michael and Regina ran towards us.
“Adrian wake up” I screamed but his eyes was closed after a few minutes,we were at the hospital.
“What happened?” Michael asked and I tremble
“Calm down and explain” he said
“I…we… were….I don’t know….he…was…sta… standing to me…but…he…got..hu.. hurt”I sturter with tears gushing out of my eyes.
” It fine”Michael said patting my back
We waited for awhile,the doctor finally c@mĀ£ out of surgery room.
“How’s he feeling?” I asked rushing to him
” He’s stable,we were able to get the bullet out in time”the doctor replied and I sigh in relief.
” Thank you doc”Michael said and the doctor left
” You heard that,stĀ©p crying or else you’ll become ugly and I don’t think Adrian would like a ugly girlfriend”he said and I smile
” I’ll get you something to eat” he said and I nodded
After Michael left, Lola called me and I told her the hospital I was and she told me she was coming.
“Princess” she called rushing to me
“Lola” I call standing up to hvg her,she hvg me ti-ght
“Are you alright?are you hurt?” She asked checking my bĀ©dy
” I’m fine but..ad.. Adrian….I..is..I”I sturter and she hvg me again
” It fine”she said
We sat down to talk.
“How did you know?” I asked
“His Majesty saw the news and you were captured in the news so he asked me to come and make sure you’re okay”she said
” Mother and Cisco must be worried” I said
“Yeah but I as-sure them that you’d be fine, so no nee-d to worry” she replied
” How’s he feeling?”she asked
” The doctor said he’s stable but we can’t see him yet”I replied
” My princess you should take care of yourself”she said
She stood with me for a while before leaving
“Alright your highness, good bye,I hope he wakes up soon” she said and bow
“My regards to father, mother and Cisco”I said
” Her Majesty and the prince are worried but I’ll as-sure them that you are fine”she said and I smile
” Take care princess”she said and I esc-rt her out.
As I was coming back Regina block my way.
“What this about?” I asked and she sm-irk
“I should ask you that your highness” she said
“Wh.. what…a..are you tal…li.. talking about?” I said trying to find my voice
” Oh I’m sorry you highness,I’m Regina and you must be princess Victoria kings” she said and my eyes wi-de-ned
” How on Earth does she know my full name?” I asked myself

Regina POV
It been hours since I heard from Tori or Michael, I decided to go check on them when I saw Tori talking to a girl.
I wanted to leave but I heard the girl call her your highness I was confused, so I decided to wait and listen. I heard every bit of their conversation.
I was surprised, I check it online if there’s any princess in new York and there is, princess Victoria kings.
Her friend left, I hid so well to make sure they won’t see me and they didn’t, I confront Tori as she was coming back.
I called her your highness and she stutter then I knew I got her, I did some funny introduction.
“Who would believe an ordinary maid is a princess”I said moving around her in circles leaving her in the middle.
“Regina let talk about this” she said, with that I knew no one knows, good I can use this to get what I want.
“Okay let sit and talk” I replied and we sat down
“plea-se don’t tell anyone about this” she pleaded and I like it
” I won’t tell anyone in one condition”I said
” What is your condition?”she asked obviously scared
” You don’t have to be scared I won’t ask for your head”I said” I want you to disappear out of Adrian’s life”
.” I can’t do that”she said and I stood up
“Then get re-ady, because I’m gonna tell Adrian as soon as he wakes up and Imagine how he’ll feel”I said
” plea-se Regina anything but that”she pleaded
“Sorry princess that’s what I want” I said and left I call Lia and ask us to meet.
Soon I got to her place she was sitting down on the couch, I moved closer to her and pu-ll her hair.
“You WITCH if you want Adrian I do why did you sh0t him” I yell
” I don’t un-derstand”she said
I leave her and switch the TV to a news channel.
” Earlier today Mr Adrian diamond was sh0t right in front of his company along with his receptionist, Mr diamond was rush to the hospital but we are yet to receive news of his health”a girl said on the TV
” Now do you un-derstand”I half yell
” They must have thought the receptionist was Tori and I gave them no order of hurting Adrian”she said
” Why can’t you do anything right? “I screamed
” What do we do? “She asked
” We have to stay low for now I have something on that bit-ch”I said with a gritted teeth.

Victoria POV
After Regina left I kept thinking about her offer, I should tell Adrian as soon as I have the chance.
“Miss are you close to me diamond?” A girl I as-sume to be a nurse ask
” Yes why? “I answered
“He’s awake you can go see him but, you can’t talk to him about something that will hurt him, or bring fear to him”she said and I nodded
How do I face Adrian? What if he hates me? All this ran throu-gh my head
I opened the door slowly and he looked at me, as if he just saw a ghost

Adrian POV
I have woken up for half an hour now, I can’t find Tori nor Michael.
A nurse c@mĀ£ in to check my IV, after she was done I asked her to call one of my friends she nodded and I thank her.
After a while Tori c@mĀ£ in, I looked at her as if she was a stranger.
“Adrian” she called softly and I could s-en-se that she has been crying
I took a de-ep breath before saying something”I’ve been waiting for you”
“Are you okay?” I asked as tears pour down her eyes.
” How can I be? You are lying here hurt and you expect me to be okay?” She said crying and I chuckled
” You look cute”I said and she smile between her tears.
“Come” I said patting the space beside my be-d for her to sit
“I’m sorry” she said.
“What’s wrong? Why are you apologizing? “I asked confused
” I just feel like it my fault that you got hurt”she said and I pu-ll her close for a hvg
” It fine, I’m better now” I whispered into her ear
Michael walk in and we disĀ£ngage from the hvg.
“How are you feeling man?” He asked
“A lot better” I replied and he gave me a sign that he wants Tori to leave.
” Umm babe can you go and prepare me something, I don’t like hospital food” I said and she nodded, she pe-ck my forhead before leaving.
After Tori left I asked Michael what was wrong”what the problem?”

” So what, why did you want Tori gone? “I asked
” Because what I’m about to say shouldn’t be heard by anyone”he replied
” But Tori is my girlfriend”I said and he sigh
“Whatever” he said”the police catch one of the guy that sh0t you”
“Really, who ordered him? “I asked sitting up
” He didn’t say anything except that the bullet wasn’t meant for you” he said
“What do you mean by the bullet wasn’t meant for me? “I asked
” The bullet was meant for a girl named Tori”he said and I look at him confused
” Why would anyone want to hurt Tori? She’s just a common girl” I said
” I found out the person that wants to hurt Tori but we can’t apprehend the fellow yet because we don’t have solid evidence”he said
” Who is it that’s trying to hurt her? “I asked
” Regina and Lia”he replied and I scoff
” You must be mistaken, Regina and Lia doesn’t know each other, I ha-rd ly take Lia to the company”I said and he took out his phone to pl@ysome recordings
The recording consist of Lia and Regina conversation about the incident;I couldn’t believe what I just heard
“But why?” I asked
“I guess Regina likes you and Lia want something from you, I’m not sure but based on their conversation Tori is an hindrance”he replied
” But I’m baffled about what Regina said, what does she mean by she found out something on Tori” Michael said
” There you go again, it been three months but we haven’t find anything” I said
“I followed Regina because she had some serious discussion with Tori that why I followed her, what if she’s hiding something”he said and I nodded in disagreement
” I don’t believe Tori will lie to me, anyway we nee-d to put an end to Regina and lia”I said and he sigh

Victoria POV
I was preparing breakfast for Adrian when my phone rang, I rushed towards it and check the caller it was Lola Good morning Lola I said
Morning princess, how are you? She asked
Better I replied
My princess, his Majesty would like to speak to you she said and my heart beat fas-ter, it been three months since I last spoke to father Good morning princess he greeted
Morning father, how are you? I asked
Fine and you he replied
Same, hope all is well father? I asked
Yes all is well, I just want you to come to the palace today
he said
I don’t think I can do that father I said
And why is that? He asked
You know about the incident yesterday, the person who got hurt is my friend I said So he replied and I felt like hitting him
U have to visit him I replied
After that you can visit the palace he replied
But father I tried to say but he cut in
I want you in the palace as soon as possible that a royal order he said Yes father I said and he hung up
Sometimes I wish, I’m not his daughter.
I pack the food in a food flask and head out to wait for a taxi.

Adrian POV
I was chatting with Michael, when Tori walked in with a food flask in her hand, whish I as-sume to be mine “Good morning Micheal” she greeted
“Morning Tori” he replied
“Good morning love”she said pe-cking my cheek
” Morning, I’m famished” I said and she chuckle
“Alright I’ll just set the table”she said and move towards a small table at the side of the room. She was done, she help me walk towards the table and made me sit down on the small chair beside it. She feed me, but as she was doing that it was obvious something was on her mind. “Are you okay?” I asked and she flin-ch
“Yeah, I guess” she said and I held her hand
“You can talk to me what’s wrong?” I said and she sigh
” I nee-d to go somewhere and I don’t want to leave you alone” she said and I smile “It fine, Michael will be here, but where are you going? “I asked
” I… Umm.. to see a friend”she replied
” You can go”I said and pe-ck herl-ips she thanks me and wave Michael bye. “I have to go somewhere too” Michael said as soon as Tori left
” What!! I let Tori go because you’ll be here”I said
” I’m sorry man I’ll ask a nurse to come and attend to you” he said and hurried out. I knew Michael was going to follow Tori but I didn’t stĀ©p him because I want him to confirm for himself that she isn’t hiding anything.

Michael POV
As soon as Tori walk in, I noticed her dress was too formal, I knew she was going somewhere. She was feeding Adrian when she asked if she could go somewhere and Adrian agreed. When Adrian ask where she was going she sturter with that I knew she was hiding something, I followed her out. She entered a taxi and I drove after the taxi, the taxi dropped her in front of kings palace. Here again what’s she doing here? I asked myself
She stood in front of the house and a lot of maids and guards that were outside bow to her The queen c@mĀ£ out and hvg her.
I felt like my eyes were seeing things, she can’t be princess Victoria right. I called Adrian and ask him about Tori’s last name he told me she never told him. Which means she’s hiding her identity, but I still nee-d to confirm.
I alight from my car and walk to a guard.
“Good morning sir” he greeted and I nodded
“plea-se who’s that girl that just entered?” I asked and he looked down ” I can’t disclose such information”he replied and I took my wallet and gave him some money “That her highness princess Victoria” he said and I thank him, I hid my surprised expression and went back to my car.

So I was right, Tori is hiding something I wonder how Adrian would feel hearing this
