__________CHAPTER 50&51___________
“Wh…..what?! She exclaimed and her phone fell from her hand,landing on the floor of the car loudly.
“Ma’am,are you alright?” Jack asked out of shock,the way she exclaimed really got him scared.
“It’s nothing” she quickly said,trying to hold herself from crying.
“This can’t be true,right? But this is way too much to not be true,Nolan has a lot of explanation to do.
“Ha! Is this why he refused to pick her call and hasn’t called back either” she gasped and asked herself.
“No,no,no! Something is definitely not right. I trust him so much and I know he won’t do something like this” she continued to converse with herself.
She picked up her phone from the floor and clicked on the video again,not like she enjoys what she’s seeing or anything.
She just wants to confirm something.
Her hands were shaking, so badly that she couldn’t handle the phone well.
“He looks very much conscious” she muttered sadly.
The unknown contact didn’t just send a video, there was a caption on it.
A heartbreaking one at that.
“How can Nolan do this to me? Was he toying with me all along?
“No,it’s not true. Argh…..I’m hurting! Oh God, this is too much for my heart to take” she said as she broke into tears.
She just couldn’t hold it back any more,it hurt was too much to hold back and pretend.
“Ma’am hope everything is alright” Jack asked again when he heard her crying.
“Just shut up and drive me home,take me to Nolan’s house right now! She said in between cries.
As much as this looks real,she also doesn’t want to believe it and conclude just yet.
Cause the last time something similar to this happened, she just concluded and didn’t even let Nolan talk.
It turned out,it wasn’t his fault.
So she just calmed herself down, even though it was hard,she tried to calm down until they got home.
Jack drove into the compound, and she noticed Nolan’s second car in the garage, which meant he was home already.
She got in and saw Nolan pacing around, worried about something.
Even Jack’s line wasn’t connecting all day. He was worried sick, what if something has happened to them,what if Vina has done something horrible again.
All these were running through his mind as he kept pacing around.
Everyone was telling him to calm down, but he wasn’t having it at all.
Peyton walked in seconds later,her facial expression wasn’t a good one at all.
“Oh baby. Thank goodness you’re home,been trying to reach you all afternoon.
“What hap…..
“Don’t you dare touch me” Peyton cuts him off and headed straight to his room.
Everyone was left in total shock of her sudden attitude.
Even Nolan couldn’t fathom out her sudden attitude.
Did someone annoy her? Could it be her aunt,or what the heck is happening?
They spoke this morning and she responded well,they even had their lovey dovey conversation before he hung up, so why the sudden change.
Nevertheless, he didn’t waste any time,he followed her immediately.
She went inside the room and banged the door after her.
Nolan got in almost immediately.
“Candy heart” he called softly.
“What’s wrong? What happened?
“Wait,have you been crying? He asked when he saw how red and teary her eyes looked.
Peyton was even confused herself,why is he acting innocent?
Why is he acting like he knows nothing about what has happened, even though she has not aired it out yet.
Nolan was starting to get scared. She wasn’t saying anything, she just kept crying.
“Baby,you’re scaring me. What is the matter? He asked again.
Peyton took out her phone from her bag and clicked on the video.
“Can you explain this? She asked amidst cries.
“T….that’s me” Nolan staggered.
He has never in his life been shocked like that,he would have passed out instantly if not that he’s a man.
“That’s me,but ho….how? She stammered.
“Can you explain this?” Peyton asked again.
“I don’t know what is going on,believe me.
“That’s me,but I don’t know how. Someone is trying to frame me.
“Oh really? You both were f*cking having s*x,completely stark na*ked.
“How can you tell me you don’t know what is going on?
“Nolan…..I don’t want to believe this is true,please tell me this is really a set up.
“Were you really toying with my heart? Answer me,Nolan! She yelled and grabbed him on his shirt.
“Please tell me this is not true,Nolan. I love you and trust you,but tell me this not true” she whimpered,grabbing his shirt tighter.
“Did you go out today?
” Where and who did you go out with? Peyton asked,tears still flowing down freely.
Nolan tried to recall where he went to.
“I was at the restaurant, then….. He tried to remember.
“Wait,then Rahkel and I went out” that’s all that happened, he said.
“You and Rahkel went out? She asked.
“Yea. After that,I returned home. I don’t know who is behind this but I will k!ll whoever is trying to frame me.
“How can I do this and don’t even remember.
Peyton gritted her teeth in anger.
“Where’s Rahkel? She asked.
“She went to see a friend” he replied.
Nolan somehow recognized Rahkel from the video,even without seeing her face. He has seen her bare body before after all,so he was able to recognize her.
He didn’t want to believe nor conclude yet that she’s really the one.
” Rahkel can’t possibly do this” he thought.
“Can you please follow me?
“Stop talking to me. I’m not going anywhere with you. If I find out the truth about this,and you really did it.
“That will be the end of it between you and I” Peyton said.
Nolan knew deep inside his heart that he didn’t do anything as such,and was ready to prove his innocence.
He went on his knees, begging her to follow him to the hotel.
Peyton obliged after much pleading.
She may be mad at him,but a deeper part of her cannot stand seeing him that way. He already lost weight within those minutes.
And she doesn’t just love Nolan, she trusts him with her life.
Nolan took his car keys and left the room,with Peyton following him.
They left the house again, without answering anyone’s question.
1:30PM GYEONGISAN-SI***
A man is found lying dead in his car.
He was shot on the forehead and blood was gushing out profusely.
Passersby stopped to take a look at the poor lifeless body.
Some were taking photos of him,while others sympathized.
????Who could have done such a despicable thing.
???? Such a handsome man,his life has been wasted just like that.
???? I feel for his poor family.
???? Gyeongisan is gradually becoming unsafe for us.
All the people kept talking until the police arrived.
They asked all the people to leave the scene, as they began investigating.
Asking some of the people around what happened even though no one saw what happened or who did it.
Someone did see the culprit though, but he drove off immediately after he shot him dead.
The ambulance came and took his body away.
PARADISE HOTEL,BUSAN****
Nolan and Peyton went in,he requested to see the manager after which he was directed to his office.
He went in and explained everything, the s*x part excluded.
The manger asked the attendant to follow them to the room Rahkel earlier booked.
They got in and he brought down the security camera.
Every damn thing that happened played,but it was just Nolan and Peyton that were seeing it.
The point where Nolan slept off after taking the drink to where the s*x happened and everything Rahkel said.
Peyton’s mouth was left open.
” So I was right about Rahkel all along” she said to herself.
Nolan couldn’t believe his eyes. Like,how desperate Rahkel was.
He cannot believe someone he calls his best friend could stoop so low.
How cheep he felt Rahkel was.
How could she do a thing like that. If not for anything,at least for the sake of their friendship, she should have considered that.
They’ve been friends from childhood, how could she let lust and desperation come between their friendship.
The s*x they had then was under the influence of drugs that his aunt always drugged him with,he did it because he was unable to control himself.
On a normal, he won’t even imagine kissing his best friend, not to talk of having s*x with her.
He was really dejected.
“How much did she pay you to do this? He turned to the attendant and asked.
She was already trembling in fear, cause she was guilty.
Rahkel had planned it already with her,the drink was specially drugged and kept aside,after which she was paid hugely by Rahkel.
“Sir,i didn’t do anyth…..
She didn’t finish her statement when she got a resounding slap from Peyton.
“How dare you connive with that she-dev!l to frame him?
“Do you have any idea what this means,do you know what it would have let to? She asked,attempting to slap her again.
“It’s okay, Miss. Let me handle this” the manager said.
“Don’t you get paid well?” how could you do this, why did you conspire with her to ruin someone’s relationship?
“Please go downstairs, pack everything that belongs to you and leave this building this instance. Your services are no longer needed” he added.
The attendant went on her knees,begging. But her pleas went on deaf ears.

Nolan drove back home,but in complete silence. Neither of them spoke.
He took his phone and rang Rahkel,but acted like he was heartbroken.
“I need to talk to you,Rahkel. I am heartbroken and you’re the only one that can make me feel better.
“What happened,why are sounding this way? She asked, pretending. Deep down, she was happy she succeeded.
“Peyton just called off the wedding,I am dying, Rahkel. Come make me feel better,please.
“What?! She exclaimed in pretense.
“I will be home right now” she said and Nolan smiled.
Talking to her alone was so disgusting to him,but he just had to do it.
She was really excited and just couldn’t wait to come make him feel better.
Peyton and Nolan still didn’t speak to anyone about what was going on.
About an hour later,Rahkel returned home happily but was shocked to see Peyton with Nolan.
“What’s going on here? She questioned herself.
“Didn’t Nolan say they broke up,and that Peyton called off the wedding?
She was still in her thoughts, thinking about a lot.
Peyton walked up to her and gave her a thunderous slap that she almost lost her balance.
The things she bought literally fell off her hands as she staggered back,her right eye was having blurred vision already due to the effect of the slap.
“Gosh! Are you crazy or someth….
She didn’t complete her statement when she got another deadly one on her left cheek. She started bleeding instantly.
“How dare you? How could you be so desperate to the point of trying to ruin my relationship with Nolan?
Nora and her parents were still trying to figure out what was going on.
“Oh,so this was a set up” She asked, laughing stup!dly.
“I may not have succeeded in ruining your relationship, but I f*cked him good. In a way you will never and can never do it.
“He was so damn good,and guess what,I enjoyed every moment I had with him” she said trying to get on Peyton’s nerves.
“Rahkel! Nolan thundered.
“I can’t believe you,is this who you really are?
” I can’t believe you let lust come between our friendship.
“Why did you this,what did you all these for? Nolan asked, already heartbroken.
“Because I love you,Nolan. I love you not just as a friend,I’m in love with you,can’t you see?
“I was there for you when you had no one to turn to,I gave you my shoulders to cry on when you needed one.
“I gave you listening ears when you needed someone to talk to.
“After all that, you chose someone else over me,and you expected me to sit back and watch?
“You chose your chef over me,after everything I did for you” she said.
“Is she better than me,is she more beautiful than I am?
Everyone left their mouths wide open in dismay.
Peyton put her hands together and started clapping.
“Wow! You desperate and cheap whore. What have you gained from this?
“You should have let your feelings known to him long ago before i even came into the picture.
“Who knows. Maybe,just maybe he would have considered a slut like you.
But no,you even waited until we got engaged and you try to separate us,tear us apart?
She paused and laughed.
“The love Nolan and I share is way too strong to be torn apart,nothing, absolutely nothing can come between us.
“What did you think was going to happen after I see the video? Oh,let me guess.
“Break up with him,give him his ring back,or probably call off the wedding without getting to the root of it?”
“I thought you were wise,I didn’t know you were so dumb and stup!d” Peyton said.
“You should have come up with a better idea,not this lame thing. You disgust me” she spat.
Nolan’s heart was filled with sparkles of light, everything Peyton just said sent him to a world filled with only happiness.
His heart couldn’t contain the joy,as he just kept smiling.
“Oh,dear Rahkel. Sorry to break this to you, Nolan is mine and no one else’s.
“I will be called his wife in in not less than two weeks,and there’s nothing, absolutely nothing you can do about it,you can d!e if you wish to”
“Less I forget. I am carrying his baby,our baby,his very first child. So go to hell,you devil” she said.
“Baby? Everyone gasped and asked at the same time.
