By Christabel Nwoko(Nee: Ogbogu)
Episode 1 💖

Camilla was caught shedding h0t tears in the car with her best friend Vivian, who sat next to her in the car.
Camila and her husband had been separated for months and their divorce had been finalized, she had thought that ending her toxic marriage with her husband, Emmanuel, will bring her peace, but reverse had been the case, she had been thrown into sorrow ever since.
Her best friend Vivian had tried her best to console her but she was inconsolable.
“Why are you doing this to your self, my friend you should be happy that you have ended your awful marriage with Emmanuel, he would never dare to hit you again, or cheat on you with random girls, like he often did, finally you have gotten your wealth back from that ungrateful man, you once married and you are free to fall in love again with someone who deserves you” Vivian reminded her.
“You have to be strong my friend, the Camila I know is a strong lady” Vivian added.
“Vivian I’m not strong and I can’t claim to be strong, I had thought I would find peace again, I thought I will be happier if I leave Emmanuel,
But this is just the reality… No matter your reason for divorce…..
Divorce is a SAD THING to experience…. it hurts to know that someone I pictured my forever with is no more with me, is really sad, even though I divorced for a good reason but the truth is that I’m shattered, I feel defeated, I feel lonely, I have no kids, no siblings, my parents are long dead, Emmanuel was the only family I got” Camilla entered still in tears.
“What are you saying, Camilla have you forgotten that you have me? and I promise that I will be here with you….. Don’t beat yourself up…none of this was your fault, I know how ha-rd you tried to make your marriage work. Emmanuel does not deserve you, plea-se put yourself together, let me drive, let me take you home” Vivian entered calmly
Few minutes later, Vivian was driving Camila home. And all throu-gh the drive home, Camila didn’t utter a word, she was lost in her own thought.
She had travelled to the past in her thoughts.
Camila remembered that she grew up in an extremely wealthy family. Her late mother was a renowned fashion designer and her late father owned a tech company. They were super rich. Her late mother c@m£ from a wealthy family. So she was also an aries.
Growing up Camila had a really luxurious
Lifestyle. She was her parents only surviving child and she had everything she so de-sired. Their house was so big that they had so many domestic staffs and maids. They had maids who handled the cleaning, high profiled chefs that handled the cooking and of course Gardeners that took care of their hvge garden.
Camila’s late parents were nice to their workers and they paid them very well.
Camila’s late parents treated their workers so nicely that they were free to do whatever they wanted.
More than twice the gardener had invited his son over and Camila’s parents were happy to have the Gardener’s son over.
The Gardener’s son was no one else but Emmanuel, Camila’s ex husband. One would imagined how their path had crossed.
Camila never imagined that she would end up with someone like Emmanuel who was a son of a no b©dy.
But love happened.
And moreover, Camila’s parents did a good job in raising her, she was not spoilt or over pampered and they had taught her that no one was worth less, just because they didn’t have money like they did.
Camila was only seventeen years old when she met Emmanuel for the first time.
It was love at first sight.
That day Camila was at the sitting room with her parents, when Emmanuel had walked in to greet them. He was Nineteen years at the time.
Camila was frozen immediately she set her eyes on Emmanuel.
“Good evening ma, Good evening sir” young Emmanuel had greeted softly and Camila’s parents responded with a sweet smile.
After the plea-santries, Camila’s parents invited Emmanuel over for dinner. And he didn’t hesitate to accept, he happily sat down with the kind couple for dinner.
During dinner, Emmanuel and camila stole looks at each other.
Camila was a beautiful teenage girl and Emmanuel had good looks and his smiles was charming, no wonder Camila fell for him.
Camila fell in love with Emmanuel the first time she saw him.
With time, they bec@m£ friends.
Camila was 20 years old when Emmanuel finally asked her out. She was overwhelmed, that she didn’t hesitate to accept the relationsh!pproposal.
Camila didn’t think her parents would be happy with her d@t!ngtheir Gardener’s son. So she kept her mouth shut and pretended like nothing was going on between them.
At the beginning of their secret affair, Emmanuel was so sweet and loving but most of the time, he always demanded for monetary favours.
“My love, I nee-d to pay my school fees, you know my father is a poor gardener, plea-se help me, if you really love me” Emmanuel would always say and Camila who was so into him always proved her love, she doesn’t hesitate to fulfill all his demands.
One-day, Emmanuel requested for a hvge amount of money as usual and Camila who had exhausted all her pocket money on Emmanuel’s constant nee-ds, wondered how she would fulfill her lover’s demand this time. She decided to go to her parents.
“My parents are very wealthy, money is not an issue, they always fulfill my request, this time won’t be different, I love Emmanuel so much and I will do anything for him” Camila thought in smiles.

Episode 2 ❤
Camila went to her father and requested for a hvge amount of money.
“Dad, plea-se, I nee-d 500,000 thousand naira” Camila said in a low Tone.
Camila’s father was speechless for a while.
“Dad plea-se, it’s important” Camila added.
Camila’s father still didn’t utter a word immediately, he wondered what was going on with his only daughter, because lately she had bec@m£ too demanding.
“Camila I thought you had more than 3 million in your account, don’t tell me you have exhausted all that money in just a month” Camila’s father finally said.
Camila couldn’t respond, she stared at her father Speechlessly.
“Tell me my daughter what is going on, just last week your mom told me she transferred 800 hundred thousand to your account, that’s a total sum of 3.8million, if I don’t know you well, I would have thought that you are doing drugs” Camila’s father continued.
“Dad I can never do drugs, God forbid, Dad I’m running a charity event, to as-sist the sick and the poor, you and mom have always encouraged me to help others and that I should never feel that I’m better than anyone” Camila lied.
“Really? That’s good… I’m proud of you my girl” Camila’s father entered and he promised to transfer more 10 million naira to Camila’s bank account the next day.
Camila was so excited but when her father walked away, her smile turned in to a quic-k frown.
Camila who had never lied to her parents felt guilty but she didn’t do anything about it, her love for Emmanuel couldn’t let her do things right.
Camila couldn’t forget the SADDEST THING that happened to her, was losing her parents to the cold hands of death. They had only gone to Abuja for a wedding ceremony, Camila remembered how she almost went along with them but at the last minute, her mother told her to stay behind.
“Camila you are just recovering from an illness, it’s not a good idea if you come along with us, you nee-d to rest my child” Camila’s mother had said.
“Mom no, I want to come along, plea-se mom, I will be very lonely” Camila said she was almost shedding tears.
‘sweet heart before you know it we will be back from Abuja, you are recovering from a terrible illness that knocked your system down ” Camila’s mother had said and Camila’s father nodded in agreement.
“We will be back tomorrow, plea-se take care of yourself my dear” Camila’s father concluded and hvgged her so ti-ghtly, it was indeed a last hvg.
The lovely couple headed to the airport to catch their flight to Abuja.
But it was a pity that they never got to their destination, as thier flight crashed on their way to Abuja.
Camila cried like she was going to die, she couldn’t be consoled. She almost lost her mind.
Six months after she lost her parents, her father’s relatives almost took everything Camila’s parents left behind but thank God they left their last will with their attorney, according to the will Camila inherited all her parents had respectively, ma-king her the wealthiest young lady in africa.
Camila and Vivian had arrived at the gate, Vivian who was at the steering at just horned at the gate, bringing Camila back to her s-en-ses.
“Oh where is your security man, he kept us hanging here in the gate for close to 5 minutes now” Vivian said calmly and at the same time she stared into her best friend’s eyes.
“Really?” Camila managed to respond.
“Yes,… Camila, you didn’t utter a word all throu-gh the drive home, even when I raised a conversation, you didn’t respond, ” Vivian complained.
“I’m sorry my friend, I was lost in my own thought, I wish my parents are here with me, I miss them so much, when they died, I ran into marriage with Emmanuel thinking that he would fill that void they left in my heart, I gave Emmanuel my heart and everything I had but what did he do, he broke me, my life will never remain the same, I married him one year after I lost my parents, gradually I began to observe that he was more interested in my money, he is more loving when I give him money but when I don’t, he will be so upset that he would threatened to be with another woman who would give him lots of money… I shouldn’t have gotten married to him, he ruined my life, I have lost my self esteem because of that stupid marriage and even ending it couldn’t bring me peace” Camila said calmly and she wiped tears from her eyes.
Vivian who couldn’t bear to watch her best friend suffer, hvgged her and she tried her best to console Camila.
Each pas-sing day, Camila bec@m£ very depressed, she had tried her best to hide her feelings from everyone especially her best friend vivian, she was tired of being pitied.
Camila gradually turned to alcohol as she began to visit bars for couple of drinks. The more she tried to forget her sorrow with bottles of alcohol, the more she bec@m£ add!çted to drinking.
One evening, Camila was at the bar as usual drinking her sorrows away, when a young man walked up to her table.
“Hello beautiful” the young man entered.
“Who… Are … You?” Camila asked in her drun!ken state.
