Chapter 84
(Obsessive love)
Mr and Mrs Dalton rushed into the hospital. Miss preya just called them that Dorris water broke and she had rushed her to the hospital. When they got tp the labor room, they met Ashley and Miss Preya waiting. Ashley is pacing the corridor while Miss preya is leaning on the wall. Louis rushed in immediately too.
“How is she?”, he asked.
” Father, she is still in labour”, Ashley said
Louis sigh.
“I asked her to go for a C&S but she insisted on giving birth naturally”, Ashley added.
Mrs Dalton sigh.
” Let’s just hope she is okay”, she said.
Few minutes later, the door opened and a female doctor and two nurses walked out if the room.
“Doctor, how is my daughter – in – law?”, Mrs Dalton asked.
The doctor smiled.
” Congrats, Mr and Mrs Dalton. She gave birth to a bouncing baby boy. Both the mother and child are doing well”, the doctor said and they all shout for joy.
“Can we see them now?”, Louis asked.
” Well, the nurses are still cleaning up. We will transfer them to a VIP room. You will be able to see them after that.”, the doctor said.
“Thank you Doctor”, Mr Dalton said.
They all entered the room. Dorris was lying on the bed. There was a cute baby cot beside her.
Mrs Dalton rushed forward.
” Dorris Darling. How are you?”, She asked Dorris.
“I’m fine ma”, Dorris said weakly.
” You’re a mom now Dorris”, Ashley said and sat on her bed.
“You did well”, Mr Dalton told her.
Dorris smiled weakly.
Louis didn’t know what to say. His sweetheart is now a mom. What could a father say in this situation. He didn’t even know.
” Dad”, Dorris took the initiative to call him.
“Sweetheart”, Louis called.
” Hope you are feeling well? “, he asked her.
Dorris nods.
Mrs Dalton is already by the baby cot.
” Oh my God. So cute”, she said.
“Looks like Ray when he was a baby.”, She said.
The room fell silent the moment she said that.
Everyone turned to look at Dorris.
” Really?”, Dorris asked asked.
“I would have teased the hell out of Ray if he was here”, She said.
They were all surprised. They expected her to be sad like she usually is each time they mention Ray.
” Later, I will take the baby to see his father”, she added.
“Oh.. Ok”, Mrs Dalton said.
” So have you thought of a name for him?”, Mr Dalton asked.
“You name him”, Dorris told the old man.
The man was of course taken aback.
“Name the child, Mr Dalton”, Louis told him.
” Let’s call him Raymond”, the man said.
“Wow, what a nice name”, Ashley said.
” You like the name?”, Mrs Dalton asked Dorris.
“It’s cool”, she said.
Mr Dalton was very excited.
He got to name his first grandchild.
For the past few months, Ava had buried herself into work. She rejected all proposals for marriage. She always get all you wanted and she couldn’t accept the fact that she couldn’t get Ray. But now that he is in a vegetable state, what else could happen?
She just wanted to get married to Ray even if it is just for a day. She just want to get together with him legally. She just want him to be hers even for a few hours. She found it very difficult to accept defeat.
She still had hope. She wanted to wait for Ray. She felt that there is still a ray of hope out there. Mrs Dalton had blacklisted her number, they probably found out that she did many despicable things. She didn’t want to do all that too but she was desperate. Actually, she should have destroyed Dorris the first time she was kidnapped but she didn’t have the heart then so she asked them to only take pictures. She tried to ha-rden her heart and give herself many reasons why Dorris should leave this earth. She gave a lot of excuses to jet conscience.
She couldn’t even visit Ray in the hospital.
If Ray died that night, she would have found another thing that will interest her but because he is still alive. She find it difficult to let go. In as much as he is still alive, she wants him to be hers.
Ava screamed.
She poured herself more wine and keep muttering to herself.
“Give up Ava. Give up. That las-s already gave birth and to a male child at that. Her position in the Dalton family is as solid as a rock”
Ava really want to give up to but something in her didn’t want to. She didn’t want to be call a loser. Why won’t she be able to get what she wants?
She us pretty, smart, brilliant, intelligent, rich and sophisticated. What did she lack_Nothing! She has everything there is.
She can’t believe that guy failed to he attra-cted to her to the very end.
That silly ex_popstar.
He was the only man she had ever wanted.
People like Ava had a very strong mentality. When they like something they became obsessive and found it ha-rd to leave that thing. She only want Ray, she didn’t think she could ever like someone else. She just wished for one thing, Ray didn’t even nee-d to love her back, he just nee-d to choose her. Even if it is by for-ce, she wants to get married to him.
Pathetic, huh?
She came to a decision, she nee-ds to leave the country for a while.
She nee-ds to breathe in another kind of air.
She nee-ds to meet new people.
She should visit new places.
Perhaps she would forget this pathetic love of hers.
Perhaps she would stop being obsessive.
Perhaps, she would stop wanting Ray.
To others what Ava feels for Ray is not love but to Ava, she believed no one could love Ray more than she did. She could do anything for him. She can kill for him.
Unknowingly to her, if she killed someone for Ray, she didn’t do it for Ray but for herself. The kind of love that will put the person you love in trouble is not love, it is selfishness.
Ava had no friends.
The relationship between her parents and her is like a relationship between an employee and a employer.
She had no one to care for her or show her love. She had no one to tell her the limitations in loving someone. You can imagine how lonely Ava is. You can imagine how bored her life is before she finally find something that interests her_Ray. Do you think she is too obsessive?

(Pas-sionate Harry)
It was Raymond’s hundred days anniversary today. Dorris did not plan to celebr@te it but close relatives did drop by and gave the child a lot of gifts. Dorris was br£-$tfeeding the child when a maid entered.
“Young Madam, someone is asking of you”, the maid said.
” Who? I’m not expecting someone”
“She gave a name. Ava”, the made said.
Dorris raise her brows. Ava? Is it the Ava she knew or is there someone else with the name Ava? Why would Ava visit her if she is the one? Is she here to cause trouble again?
Dorris sigh. She is not even in the mood for all that now.
She still asked the maid to lead her in anyway. She is sure that the bodyguards at the gate would have checked her very well before allowing her into the compound.
” Hi”, Ava greeted immediately she saw Dorris. It was obvious that she felt awkward. This is the second time she will come to Ray’s house. The last time she came she made a statement that the next time she will be in this house, she will be there as Ray’s wife. Who knew Fate has so much in sto-re for her.
Her heart ti-ghtened when she saw Dorris. She can’t believe she lost to this lady. Dorris neither from a rich family nor from a well known family.
She took a de-ep breathe.
“Hi”, Dorris greeted.
” Sit down”, Dorris said.
“Mia, get something chill for our guest”, Dorris told a maid.
” yes, young madam”
Ava sat down.
“I wanted to see Ray’s child. That’s why I’m here. Can I? I’m traveling abroad and I wanted to give the baby a gift.
I still hadn’t give up on Ray though but there is really nothing I can do. After all, Ray is in Coma. I will just leave. I hope I will be able be able to give up on him. I wish you a happy married life and I hope Ray will really wake up soon.”, Ava stood up and gave Dorris the gift.
” You still hadn’t won”, And she walked out.
Dorris called a maid and gave the gift to her.
“Throw it away. I won’t accept a gift from my rival. It is just a precaution”, she said.
Mrs Dalton rushed into the house. She met Ashley and Dorris eating breakfast. They are both dressed for work.
” Ash, you haven’t left yet?”, she asked.
“Yes, auntie”, Ashley replied with a smile.
” Good morning mom”, Dorris greeted.
“Good morning, Darling. Where is my grandson?”, She asked.
Miss Preya gave the baby to her.
” aiyoo, cute son”, the woman said hu-gging the child.
“Mom, are you sure you will be okay with coming over everyday to baby sit the child?”, Dorris asked.
” What are you talking about? Why won’t I be okay? This is my grandson we are talking about. After all, you are going to work. I am more than glad to be able to babysit this handsome grandson of mine”, the woman chattered.
Dorris drank her coffee.
“I’m off to work then. Raymond, have a good time with granny.”, Dorris said.
She walked to the woman and ki-ssed her son.
” You will drop me off”, Ashley said rushing her tea.
“Learn how to drive. There are so many car in the garage”, Dorris teased her.
” I think My teacher is not good enough. That’s why I still don’t know how to drive after learning for three months”
Douglas is the one teaching her how to drive.
“You guys should hurry. Dorris can’t be late on her first day”, Mrs Dalton said.
” mom, I may come home late today. I want to visit Ray”, she said.
Mrs Dalton wants to say something but she decided against it.
“Okay. Drive slowly and safely”, she said.
” Okay mom”, Dorris said and walked out.
Harry was drying Harley hair.
“I visited Dorris’ baby the other day. He is so cute. I suddenly started liking kids”, Harley said.
” Is that so?”,Harry asked.
“Yes”
“Shall we have a baby then?”, he asked.
Harley raise her brow.
“That’s not a bad idea”, Harley said.
” you think so?”, Harry asked as he switched off the hair dryer.
“Yes. I will like to have a cute baby. It will be nice to have a baby. Let’s give it a try.”, Harley said.
” you are very bold, Harley. Are you sure you are up to it? Do you dare?”, He asked her.
Harley felt a shiver down her spine. She knew how her husband is on bed. Harry is very domineering and he usually last so long.
He is also very demanding on bed. He will even ask her to watch adult videos to learn more on how to please a man.
Harley also did not want him to go back to his wayward lifestyle so she is always trying her best to please him.
She is quite afraid of him when it turns to their s-×ual activity.
He is not anything like his caring self. It’s always like he is another person. Wild and rou-gh!
But she likes it soooo much as much as she is scared of it.
Harry moved closer to her.
He took her li-ps in his mouth.
“You dare?”, he asked again.
Harley shivered.
” I dare or are you chickening out?”, she challenged him.
Harry scoffed. No man will allow anybody to mock his stamina.
“I will never chicken out. You know that better than everyone, my darling little pretty wife. Let’s make a baby then. We can start by giving birth to triplets or do you want four at once? We can have a team”,
Harley started regretting. This pervert!
” Can I still back out?”, she asked him.
“I’m sorry dare bit you turned me on already”, Harry said.
” I didn’t. When did I?”, She asked him.
Harry smi-rked.
He is enjoying how much he is affecting her.
He bits her earlobe.
“I can’t wait to taste you. Next time, can you serve yourself in a red nightdress? This pink is too pretty. I will want to see in a seductress mode. Can you show me?”, he asked her.
Harley swallowed and nodded.
Harry had successfully tamed her.
He was in a good mood. He ki-ssed her again, this time with fire and pas-sion. You could tell that he is fully turned on.
