“Jeez! He is sick”, She Complained.
She stared at him for a moment confused. She didn’t know what she was going to do.
She went back to the living room, Her mom already went bed.
She took cold water and a towel. She sat beside him and placed the towel on him.
She didn’t un-derstand why he was shivering and sweating at the same time.
“She wiped his sweat with the cold towel she soaked inside the water.
“Don’t think am doing this because I want to, I just don’t want you to die in my room”, She muttered.
She tried feeling him drug but he wouldn’t open his mouth. She soaked the drug and he only swallowed small.
“I wonder how you must be feeling now, I also know the pain of losing a loved one”, She said to tyra who was still alseep.
“Maybe you are not a bad person after all”, She continued talking.
“I hope whatever you are going throu-gh, You will get over it”, She said covered his body with the blanket she brou-ght earlier.

NEXT MORNING
“Riley was already ready for school.
Her mom already left for work but she had prepared breakfast. She had to leave in a hurry.
Riley had gone to her room to pick her notes but tyra was awake by then. She had planned to sneak inside but it wasn’t possible anymore.
“Good morning”, She greeted and he replied.
“Morning”, He replied holding his head. He looked at sean but he was still sleeping.
Tyra’s eyes met the bowl of water, Towel and drug on the table beside him.
“Riley did you ………
He didn’t finish before she cut in.
“Why would I do that? I wasn’t the one, I just happen to see it also. Am sure it’s my mom that took care of you”, She cut in sharply.
“Oh…. ok”
“I will advise you to treat yourself and stop being stubborn, it won’t lead you to anywhere”, She said and tyra stared at her surprised and she quickly added.
“I am saying this because I care but I just don’t want you to die and leave your brother”.
“Thank you for your advise but am fine. I will be leaving now, I don’t want to trouble you and your mom anymore”, He replied standing up.
“So where are you going to?”, She asked and tyra stared.
“I mean…… Where will you take your brother to? He’s a kid, you should care about his safety”, She corrected.
“Thank you for your concern for my brother but he’s going to be fine”, He replied and woke cris up.
Cris ate breakfast but tyra didn’t. He kept saying he was fine.
“Are you afraid I’d poison you?”
“Aren’t you capable of doing that to someone you hate?”, He replied.
“I won’t make his death easy like that, I will prefer a slow death”, She replied.
“Tyra is she chubs, The girl you hate so much?”, Cris asked innocently.
“I see… so you talk about me but you only say bad things”, She said and faked a smile.
“It’s not good to have a brother with big mouth”, he thought.
“Miss chubs you are pretty, My brother was right, You are pretty and kind too”, He said and tyra gasped.
He felt like hitting cris.
“When did I ever said……………
Tyra was saying but he trailed off when he remembered when he first met riley. He found her pretty but his hatred for her started after their first encounter.
She spoilt his mood and so he explained to cris and now cris just exp-osed him in front of Riley.
“So you find me pretty huh? Sorry to turn you down tyra, You are not my type”, Riley said and tyra scoffed.
“You wish…… You are not my type either and I won’t follow girls like you”, Tyra said.
“Whatever! I am late for school already”, She said.

” I see that you are all alone now, No friends and most importantly no boyfriend. Riley don’t you think you su-ck ?”, Alexa said walking up to Riley in cl@$$ with her followers.
“Alexa don’t you have any other thing to do other than displa-ying madness? You su-ckmore than the dumbest person in the world”, Riley spoke back.
“What are you insinuating?”
“I know I still nee-d to break it down for you since you appear to be very dumb”, Riley said.
“How dare you talk to alexa like that? “, Jenny questioned ready to attack.
“Look am not talking to you, Am talking to alexa who you keep following around”, Riley fired and Jenny slapped her.
Then jesse attacked and then alexa. As Riley was fighting the both of them, Eva and helen joined.
They couldn’t watch their friend being bullied.
“Alexa, Jenny , Jesse, Eva, Helen and Riley to my office now “, The teacher entered and said.

Tyra returned back home but he didn’t meet red. He must have gone to work.
“Do you want to go to school today?”, He asked cris though it was late already.
“No …. I will just go tomorrow and besides you don’t look okay”, He replied tyra.
“Don’t ever tell Riley what I told you that day ok?”, He told cris.
“Why? You don’t like her anymore?”
“What do you know about like? Just mention it to anyone”, he said and cris promised.

“You deserve an award for bring the person that has cleaned the toilet the most “, Alexa teased Riley.
Though she was saying the truth. No one deserve the award other than tyra.
They both have the talent of washing toilet and serving punishment.
“Say that again and I will pull your hair off”, Eva threatened.
Alexa took it as a joke but seeing the seriousness on Eva’s face, She left.
“I didn’t ask you to help me”, Riley said and rolled her eyes.
“You didn’t ask us to help you but we did anyway because we are friends and that’s what friends does”, Eva said.
“Riley really have changed so much. That I wonder what happened to our friendship. First of all, You are so selfush. You think of only yourself and nobody else.
You only come to meet us when you nee-d help and if we don’t help, You get angry and you won’t talk to us for like a week.
We were akways there for you bit you were never there for us. You don’t even know what friendship is all about”, Helen said.
“You made us follow that stupid rule of yours that we shouldn’t fall for tyra or his friend, You only think of your feelings and not others. Do you know that Heken had liked dan for the beginning but because of you, She sacrificed her happiness. I liked sean but because of you I had to let go of my feelings for our friendship, Do you think it was easy for us? When everyone turned their back on you, We supported you but you were never grateful.
If you really want us to stay away from you then we will do just that”, Eva said and walked away angrily and then helen followed.
Riley just stood there in shock. Was that how she really treated them? She didn’t realize that she has been so unfair to them.
Yeah….. She has been so cold and selfish.
She thought everyone was leaving her, She didn’t realize that she was the one chasing everyone from her.

Riley thought of what Eva and helen Said.
They were right. She hasn’t been a good friend to them at all.

* Hey why didn’t you come today? Are you ok?”, Dan texted tyra. *
Hours later
* Yeah am fine. Am coming tomorrow *, he replied.
# Next day
Tyra resumed school the next day. Tho he wasn’t himself. He was usually silent. He doesn’t really talk or bully like before.
“Tyra you okay?”, Dan asked as he sat beside him in cl@$$.
“Yeah!”
“Am sorry about what happened to you mom, If you nee-d someone to talk to, Am akways here buddy”, He said tapping his shoulder.
“Thanks but am fine”, Tyra said and Dan sigh.
He keeps saying he’s fine.
“Babe what’s happening to you? I rarely see you”, Alexa said holding tyra’s hand dan rolled his eyes.
He just hate the sight of her.
“Am fine”, He replied simply.
“Babe are you sure? I missed you so much”, She pouted and Dan scoffed.
“It’s better you leave now, He doesn’t want anything disturbing him”, Dan fired.
“D…did you just call me a thing?”
“That’s just the best way to describe you”, He replied and before alexa could reply, the teacher entered.
“Morning cl@$$”, the teacher greeted immediately he entered .
“Morning sir”
“We have a new student”, He said pointing to the guy beside him. “Why don’t you introduce yourself?
“Hi am Liam, it’s nice to meet you guys”, He said with a smile and girls drool.
“Wow he’s handsome”
“I can’t believe he’s in our cl@$$”
“Wow! Look at his smile, he’s so charming”
Everyone kept whispering to each other. For some unknown reasons tyra hated him immediately.
“Go sit there”, He pointed to the seat beside Riley.
“Hi am liam, It’s nice to meet you”, He said stretching his hand for an handshake.
“I know”, Riley replied icily. She wasn’t in the mood.
All she wants is to apologize to Eva and Helen. She really miss them so much.
“Ouch! That’s cold”, He said withdrawing his hand.
“Hi am Bella. You are really handsome”, Bella said while pla-ying with her hair.
“Bella you are certainly not his type”, Daniel said and Bella hissed angrily at him.
“You can’t say…… At least am one of the most beautiful girl here”, She said rolling her eyes at him.
“I think you mean the opposite because your name is pa-rt of the top ugliest girl and you are the first”, Daniel snorted.
“Stop the chatting daniel and Bella and listen”, the teacher warned and continued with his teaching.

“Hi”, Riley walked up to Eva and helen.
Heken wanted to reply but Eva replied
“Helen let’s leave, I really don’t feel like fighting”, Eva said.
“Eva please …… Listen to what I have to say”
I know I haven’t been a good friend lately, I have been so selfish. Until yesterday I didn’t realize how unfair I have been.
You guys have always helped me but I have never been there for you, I feel do bad. You always support me bit I never appreciate it, I am really sorry, She said and both Eva and helen were surprised to hear it from her mouth.
They didn’t expect what they said yesterday to change Riley.
“I am really sorry guys. I have neglected my own best friends, I will make it up to you”, She said
Eva looked at Heken abs she saw that she was already convinced so he decided to talk before she did.
She was really happy that Riley has realize her mistake but she wanted to punish her a little.
“Everything started with your fight with tyra. Why don’t you work on that first? Ever since then you have been so different”, Eva said still not satisfied.
“Am really sorry. I will stay away from tyra for now on. I won’t cause any trouble again or fight with him or even talk to him”, Riley said.
“I am not asking you to stop talking to him but just settle your fight, It’s really not getting you anywhere”, Eva said.
“i will work on that”, She promised.
“We shall see then”, She said dragging Helen as he walked away.
“You are way too cool and that’s why people will manipulate you”, Eva complained.
“Whatever. But you should have said too much , She has already realize her mistakes”, Helen said.
“You are just to cool hel, When I grow up I want to be like you”, Eva teased.
“It’s not too late”
“Hell no….. I don’t want to cool, I want to be fearless”, she said and hel rolled her eyes.
“Don’t you find the liam guy handsome?”, Eva said and helen shrugged.
“I don’t know ….. I didn’t notice”, She replied and Eva rolled her eyes.
“That’s the problem with people who are not single, They only focus on their pa-rtner, They don’t find other people handsome”, Eva complained.
“Well that’s because ….. Hmm it’s no use explaining to you anyway. You will un-derstand why you have someone”, Helen said.

Tyra got home and the house was very silent. He looked for cris but he didn’t see him in his room until he went to his room and saw him sleeping peacefully.
He looked at cris and tears filled his eyes. He doesn’t know how to take care of a kid. He doesn’t do anything in the house, only his mom does but now she’s gone.
Even red, He hasn’t seen him since the day he spoke to him. He comes home very late and leave very early.
He only eats once a day and that’s only in school, in the cafeteria.
He tou-ched his stomach, he was very hungry. And he’s sure cris hasn’t eaten either.
He made his way to the kitchen and he thought of what to cook.
He caught the sight of bread and then he decided to do egg sauce.
Then he searched for the recipe for making egg sauce on his phone and he did as he was asked to you.
After putting all the ingredients, he still felt it’s wasn’t enough.
*This can’t possibly make it very sweet*, He thought.
He went ahead to put additional two seasoning, he added curry powder and thyme.

“Are we going to really eat this?”, Cris complained giving the food one more stare before pushing it away.
“Look I know it’s terrible and it got burnt but please manage it. It’s my first time cooking”, Tyra said.
“I don’t want to”, Cris replied.
“Let me throw it away, so that we eat outside”, he said packing the food.
“No… it’s ok, I can manage it. After all you used all your strength in order to make this”, he said and put a hu-ge amount of food in his mouth.
Cris wanted to spit it out immediately but seeing tyra look at him waiting to hear his opinion about the food, he for-ced himself to swallow it.
“It’s good”, He lied faking a smile.
“Oh Really? I never knew i was this good”, He said smiling and he took a spoon.
He and cris exchanged glances and cris burst into laughter.
“You lied to me”, He frowned.
“I didn’t want you crying”, he said and the it became silent.
“Tyra”, he called and he looked at him “I miss mom, She’s not coming back to us forever?”
Tears already gathered in his eyes ready to drop them any moment.
“I miss her too but don’t worry I will be there for you akways. I will be your dad and mom”, Tyra replied trying to hide his tears but he didn’t succeed.
“Don’t cry tyra. I will always be your mom and dad”, He replied and tyra smiled.
“You really are smart”, Tyra said and ruffled his hair and cris frowned.
