Chapter eighteen {18}

They pla-yed the game for some time and they everyone went to their respective tent.
“I can’t believe that Riley kizzed you again”, Dan said but tyra wasn’t in the mood.
“I don’t want to talk about it”, He said and then Sean entered.
He was furious.
“You bastard”, He said punched tyra on the face.
“How dare you kizz Riley?”
“He didn’t kizz her, She kizzed him. It is obvious, isn’t it?”, Dan said pushing sean away from tyra.
“I don’t know what you are doing to riley, Just stay away from her”, He fired and left.
“Why didn’t you fight back?”, Dan asked.
“It will be useless wasting my energy on him, He’s a coward no wonder Riley doesn’t want him. I want to also prove my dad wrong since he keep saying that I cause trouble wherever I go”, He explained.
Suddenly dan’s mood changed when he remembered something.
“Did you hear when helen Said she likes me?”
“I remember clearly”, Tyra replied. He knew dan was going to bring that up.
He might continue talking about it till the next day.
“I can’t believe that she likes me, Do you think she rejected me because she was un-der pressure?”
“Dan I don’t know……. Why don’t you just ask her?”, Tyra said pissed.
“Maybe she does like me but she was shy. Just tell me your mind tyra……. please”, He pouted.
“Jeez!!!! Dan you talk too much, I don’t approve of her but since he likes you and you like her, Just take it slowly with her”, Tyra suggested.
“Woah!! That was cool. Have you Fallen in love with someone tyra?”
“Why?”, He asked.
“You are so cool when it comes to relationship”, Dan replied and he rolled his eyes.
“Am going to bed. When you are tired, You will join me”, He said and left dan who wouldn’t stop smiling.

# In the tent
“Helen you like dan?”, Riley asked.
Helen has been expecting this but it’s high time she told her about it. She can’t continue to deny her feelings because of Riley.
“Yes”
“Since when?”
“Since I entered crown high”, She replied and riley’s mouth opened in surprise.
“Eva did you know about this?”
“Yes”, She replied
“And I didn’t know. Didn’t we agree not to fall for tyra and anyone that is related to him?”, She said.
“Riley I honestly don’t un-derstand you anymore. The fight is between you and tyra, so why drag us into it and besides don’t you have any explanation for what happened outside”, Eva said referring to the kizz.
“Look I had to do it. That was the only option I had, You know I nee-d to make sean pay”, She replied.
“Pay for what exactly?”, Eva questioned but telling her to stop .
She doesn’t want any fight between them especially because she admitted that she likes dan.
“Are you seriously asking me that question right now? Of course to pay for breaking up with me”, She replied.
“You really nee-d to stop dragging everyone to your fight with tyra”, Eva said and Riley just glared at her.
“Helen you don’t have to be quiet, You shouldn’t be ashamed of your feelings for dan. You deserve to be happy”, Eva advised.
NEXT MORNING☆☆
Everyone woke up very early and wore their joggers for exercise. They jogged in group.
And everyone was asked to gather in their groups: Star wishers, starlight sleeper and Fireflies.
“Now that you have seen your group pa-rtners, Select a leader and let the leader step forward”, The instructor said.
“I choose dan”, Tyra said and everyone agreed except from Riley. She didn’t want dan.
“Who do you want then?”
“I want to be the group leader”, She said but more like a command.
Everyone reluctantly agreed.
Riley came out as star wisher leader, Sean came put as Fireflies leader and Alexa cane out as starlight sleeper leader.
Alexa glared at Riley and she glared back. Sean looked at Riley but she wasn’t even looking at him.
Maybe he truly made a mistake of leaving Riley.
“So as the group leader, You are responsible for your group”
First we will start with questions about your group members.
But before that, You nee-d time to ask questions about them. Don’t forget that the competition has started.

Riley didn’t ask tyra, Dan and helen bit she kept asking the other members about themselves.
She got almost all the questions wrong and she got “40 points”, Sean “70 points” and Alexa “60 points”.
The next game was Three legged race where people will run on pairs. The right leg of one will be tied to the left of the other.
Riley and tyra volunteered , Sean and Eva and Alexa and jace.
The whistle was blown and the competition started.
Tyra and Riley were the ones leading, Everything was fine until Riley looked back and saw sean trying to meet up and then she started to run very fast that tyra couldn’t meet up.
“Hey CHUBS! Slow down or we’ll lose”, He said.
“Just shut up and run fast it we’ll lose”, She fired.
Before tyra said a word, He fell and Riley followed and sean p@$$ed them
“Didn’t I say we should slow down?, You know am not very good in sports”, Tyra said.
“Well that’s your problems, It’s not my fault you are not good in anything. At least I didn’t for-ce you to pa-rticipate in this game”, Riley spat back and tyra scoffed.
“Am not good in anything? Have you forgotten that am good in academics or I should remind you”, He replied.
They continued arguing and people just stared at them. They didn’t even realize they were on the floor.
Riley wanted to leave in anger but she fell back. She didn’t remember that their legs were still tied.
She loosed it in anger and left. Dan couldn’t help but to laugh at their childish behavior.
“Tyra becomes childish whenever he is with Riley”, Dan said but Helen heard.
“I have noticed that too”, She replied shyly.
Star wishers has the total of “50 points ”
Fireflies “90 points”
Starlight sleeper “70 points ”
Volleyball net was set up and everyone pa-rticipated.
Riley was very good in volleyball most especially but volleyball is more of a team work. If one pla-yer is very poor in volleyball, it will accept the other team because it is about team work.
Riley tried her best to make sure star wishers win but they were the second. Alexa’s team were the last.
Did I forget to mention that Sean was good in sports just like Riley?
“Do you su-ckthat much in sports?”, Riley complained.
“I tried my best, what were you expecting me to do?”, Tyra replied.
“You could have done better. Why did you allow sean to prove he’s better? We lost all because of you”
“Why are you so mad at me? Everyone knows I tried my best, I wasn’t the only one who fu-cked up”, Tyra defended and she scoffed.
“Your best is not enough. Try ha-rder”, She said.
“Why is she so mad at you?”
“I don’t know. …”, he replied.
“I wonder what everyone sees in you, You are nothing and I will make everyone see that “, Sean walked up to tyra and said.
“If you give me the permission, I will beat the hell out if him for you”, Dan said boasting.
“Well you have my permission”, Tyra replied knowing fully well dan can’t do anything.
“I won’t because I don’t want to also get into trouble but tyra I will deal with him in another way”, He said and tyra laughed.
“Are you making jest of me or what? You think I can’t actually beat him?”, Dan said with a frown and tyra gave a short smile.

Chapter nineteen {19}

# Next day
Everyone did the usual exercise in the morning. Running and egg race competition were held. In egg race Starlight sleeper came first and in Running Star wishers came first.
It was time for selfie scavenger hunt.
Everyone had a copy of the list. They were to take pictures of the things of the list.
* list of people:
● Giving high five
● looking angry
● touching their nose
● looking tired
● Giving piggy back rides
● making a group selfie
● making funny faces
● Dancing crazy
● moon walking
● looking surprised
● Acting like statues
● looking scared
● hu-gging each other
● pointing at something
* Then pictures of:
● Red flower
● 5 different types of flowers
● Stop sign
● Spider web
● Bird……. and so on.
They were giving the instructions of not going to the prohibited area and they should return after 1 hour 30 minutes.
If a member is missing, That is a Pont for the other groups and the first group to finish the list is the winner.
After they had completed half of the list, Riley suggested that they split since the remaining list is in the forest.
“It will be easier that way”, Helen agreed.
“We should remember to return at the exact time”, Dan said.
“Let’s go in twos . Dan and helen, Bella and dylan , bryan and Kelly, James and Cathy , I will go alone and am sure Riley would like to go alone too”, he said.
“Of course”, She replied and they separated.

“Gosh I hate this!”, Alexa complained. Her body were all itchy, According to her.
She kept complaining till everyone got tired of hearing her voice.
“We must win this competition, we can’t let Riley win okay?”, She said.

Riley was so lost in finding a red flower and a bird. She finally saw a bird but it flew away and she continued to follow it to take a picture until she fell into something.
Lake.
Seriously? She’s all we-t now due to her carelessness.
Just as she was about to come out, Tyra appeared.
“You look funny”, he said laughing and she frowned.
“Look at me”, He said and Riley looked and he took a picture of her.
“Everyone must see this”, he said.
“Delete it now”, She ordered.
“And if I dont?”
“You will regret it”
“Well let’s see about that”, He replied and started walking away and Riley came up with a plan.
“Tyra please help cone out”, She said making a sad face but tyra didn’t fall for that.
“Please I really nee-d your help, if you don’t help me then we are going to lose”, She said and tyra thought about it and walked to her and stretched out his hand to her but instead she pulled him inside”
Immediately she took the picture of the both of them, let’s see whose reputation will be more ruined.
“Riley what the hell? Am not going to forgive you for this”, He said angrily.
This is my first camp and this is the impression I get .Why did I even go to help her in the first place?”, He wondered.
“Just delete my picture and I will delete yours”, She said.
“Let’s hurry! We are almost late”, Tyra said as they struggled to get out.

Camp site☆
“Do you think Riley and tyra will come back before the time. I mean it’s almost time”, Helen said worried.
Every member had returned, it was only tyra and Riley that remained.
“Don’t worry we still have time. Fireflies members are not complete also, We shouldn’t lose hope”, Dan said.
Few minutes the all members in both Fireflies and starlight sleeper were complete.
“Do you think tyra and Riley are together?”, Alexa asked jenny.
“It can’t be possible so don’t worry about it. Tyra won’t even want to walk with Riley”, jenny @$$ured her but unfortunately she was wrong.
Five minutes to the end of the game, Tyra and Riley appeared.
Everyone was surprised to see them together and they were we-t.
“The game is officially over, Everyone submit your camera”, The instructor said.
“Babe are you ok? What happened to you? Riley what did you do to him?”, Alexa said to tyra after she walked to him.
“Am fine”, Tyra replied and walked away not without glaring at Riley.

4th day ☆▪☆▪☆
Girls gathered together , They were gisting and saying girls talk.
Helen wasn’t interested, so she wanted to go back to the tent probably to rest but she met dan on her way.
“Hi”
“Hi”, He replied.
“Can we talk helen please”, He said and she nodded.
“So what do you want to talk about?”
“I want to talk about us ……. About what you said the other day”
“Hmm”, She muttered.
“I don’t know what your reasons were for rejecting me that day but I will respect your decision. If you are not ready Helen, I will wait for you because I really love you and I won’t give up on you and I want to apologize for pressuring you that day, I didn’t mean to do that, I hope you won’t you stop me from waiting for you”, He said and helen was surprised.
She was expecting him to be angry because she ruin his reputation by rejecting him in front of everyone even when she likes him.
“Dan I am sorry……
“Please don’t reject me again right away. I meant it when I said I will wait for you”, He cut in.
“Hear me out please…. I am really sorry for rejecting you even when I … I liked you. I was just confused but am not confused anymore”
“What do you mean?”, He asked perplexed.
“I mean I have an answer now. I don’t want to waste time by thinking about it cos I have done that”
“So……..
“So am saying yes”, She replied blus-hing and Dan froze that moment.
He didn’t know if he was dreaming or not.
“You are saying yes?”, He asked to be sure he heard correctly.
“Yes”
He couldn’t hide his excitement as he hu-gged helen ti-ghtly. He was just so happy.
“Thank you for …….
He didn’t complete his statement when helen dise-ngage from the hu-g and kizzed him.
“You don’t nee-d to thank me for anything. I have to go now”, She said and ran off.
“This must be a dream”, He said in a state of denial.
He searched everywhere for tyra to tell him but he finally saw him on the basketball court.
He has been trying to put the ball on the net but nothing is working. He was just pissed.
“Tyra I have good news. Helen and I are dating now, She finally said yes”, Dan said to the pissed tyra.
“Good for you. You must be very happy”, he said as he made another attempt but failed.
“Tyra punch me ha-rd , I think am dreaming. I really nee-d to confirm if am dreaming or not”, Dan said happily.
He didn’t realize that someone should never a pissed person to slap or punch you.
“Are you sure? I don’t want to hurt you”, He advised.
“Of course”, he replied and tyra punched him ha-rd.
ha-rd enough to realize that it wasn’t a dream.
“Hey! That’s hurts. I meant a friendly punch, Did you really have to vent your anger out on me?”, Dan Gr0-ned in pain.
“You should have told me you wanted a friendly punch”, Tyra said but dan just glared.
“Tyra no matter how ha-rd you try, you can’t get it because you are a loser”, Sean said walking up to them.
Tyra wasn’t in the mood so he ignored him.
“Have you wondered by your dad treats you terribly, it’s because you are useless and a loser”, He added and tyra finally lost his control.
He didn’t want to pay attention to sean but at the mention of his father, He lost his cool.
“You bastard! Never in your life should you repeat that”, He said as he punched.
Sean too fought back and dan was trying to separate them but they were stronger. The fight was so intense that people tried to stop them.
“Tyra!!!”, The voice of the person he hated sounded in his ears and he and sean dise-ngaged immediately.
His eyes went cold. How did he find him here?
“D……dad”, He struggled to say.
He saw the serious anger in his dad’s voice and face. He even came here.
Tyra was wrong about his father, He thought that even if he finds out he left for summer camp, he was just going to let it slide but the case is different.
Not only did he come to meet him here, He met him fighting. That will only add to his wounds.
“Tyra!!! How dare you?”, He said and slapped him twice.
Everyone just stood there staring at them.
“You disobeyed me and you came on your own, I will teach you a lesson”, He said icily.
“Mr smith”, The teacher called.
“Why was he allowed here? Didn’t you know I didn’t give my permission?”, He fired.
“Go pack your things, We are leaving. Give your car keys to dan, let him drive it home later”, He said turning to tyra as he walked to his car.
Sean couldn’t help but to sm-irk. What he wanted to achieve has happened.
Tyra went to his tent packed his bags and submitted his tag. He gave dan his keys and walked to his dad’s car and they drove off.
One thing was sure, Tyra was in de-ep trouble.
