Pl@ymy heart final episode

(💙When two pla-yers fall in love💞)
🥀Episode 30🥀
“What are YOU doing here?!?!?!” I asked venomously…
“I c@m£ to see you Cleo.” He replied, his British accent more pronounced than before.
“What do you mean by that? How the heck did you find me?”
“Really? No ‘hi Dad’. ‘It’s been so long Daddy’.”
“The guts you must have…to come here after 10 years and expect me to jump right into your arms!? You have got to be joking DAD! Now I ask again, what are you doing here and how the heck did you find me!?”
He sighed and said “Well a week ago, a man named Andre Simmons called me and told me what’d happened to you so I…”
“Wait a sec, did you just say Andre Simmons?”
“Yeah. He said he was your…”
“b©yfri£nd. He is so dead!” I muttered angrily. “Now back to you, what are you doing here!?”
“Well Andre told me what happened to you so I thought I’d come and see how you were doing.”
“I’m fine. Now can you leave?”
“Cleo, I’m sorry I stayed but I’m here now.”
“What good does that do? You abandoned us. My life was ruined because you stayed away. Mom died because of you, Dad and now you come back and expect me to come back to you with open arms?”
“I know I failed you as a father but I ask that you at least give me a chance to explain and make it up to you.”
“No! I don’t want to hear it! You stayed away and that’s all that matters.”
“I didn’t want to, Cleo. I really didn’t but your mom…she wouldn’t let me see you!”
“Don’t you dare put it on her!” I yelled angrily, tears alre-ady coming down my cheeks. “She loved you, Dad. She might have divorced you but she loved you to the end and you weren’t there. You abandoned us. Why? Why did you never come? Why did you stay away? Tell me…”
“I loved your mom, Cleo. I know you don’t believe it but I really did love her but I made a foolish mistake and it cost me everything… While on a business trip, I got drun!kwith some friends and I sle-pt with Talia in the process.”
Talia was his new wife.
“It was supposed to be a one night stand but she got pregnant in the process and your mom got to know about it. Since I was from wealth and your mom wasn’t, my parents had never really been in favor of our marriage so once they heard about Talia who was the daughter of a family friend, they insisted I marry her. I didn’t want to but my dad said it was either that or I loose my inheritance…”
“So you divorced my mom because of money?” I laughed mirthlessly. “How clas-sic!”
“I know and it’s a mistake I regret till this day. I tried convincing your mom not to agree to the divorce but she refused, signed the papers and left with you. It was the worst day of my life. Months after, my pri-vate investigator located both of you but by then, your mom had met ra-phael. I tried entering back into your life but your mom refused to let me. She told me to go back to my other family and even once called the cops on me. I was distraught but I continued to keep tabs on you without her knowledge.
When I found out what that bastard ra-phael had been doing to you, I nearly lost my mind. You have no idea how heartbroken I felt that I’d been unable to be there for you. I know that it was all my fault. If I hadn’t left you guys, that bastard would have never been able to treat you like that.
Believe it or not, I visited you in the hospital a couple of times but once you woke up, your mom forbade me from seeing you again and I agreed.
Then Claire, your mom died and I couldn’t bear seeing you taken to a foster home where someone else could m©l£styou so I took you in. I tried ma-king you feel comfortable but it was obvious how much you’d grown to hate me.
Then your aunt Olivia c@m£ and you left. I was hurt by your leaving Cleo and the few times I tried reaching out, my messages were returned. I did do my p@rt to sponsor you throu-gh out your time in school….”
“It’s not just about the money. I nee-ded you and you weren’t there. You weren’t there, Dad…” I answered, tears streaming down my cheek.
“I know that, Cleo but just give me one more chance, honey and I promise that I’ll be there for you…”
“I’ll think about it.” I finally replied.
“Okay dear.” He replied before leaving the room.
A few minutes afterwards, Andre walked into the room, the question “How did it go?” on hisl-ips.
I glared at him instead.
“Why did you bring him here?” I asked.
“Look I’m sorry, Cleo if I offended you but I thought that maybe it was time you put the past behind you.”
I scowled. “You’re lucky you’re h0t or else I’d be breaking up with you right now.”
“You’re not, right?” He asked fearfully.
I sm-irked. “Maybe if you give me a k!ss.”
He smiled at me with relief. “Gladly.”
He slammed hisl-ips against mine in an fiery k!ssthat took my breath away. 🙃
Today was the day of my discharge and I couldn’t help but grin as I got in the car that Andre had hired to bring me home. I immediately knew something was off but I didn’t bother asking. It was clear that he was hoping to surprise me but with what? I didn’t know.
The car drive was not a long one and before I knew it, the was pu-lling up in front of Andre’s mansion. I alighted and walked towards the house, savoring the familiar smells as I did.
I got to the door and walked in without knocking. It was very quiet and it looked as though no one was in. I decided to go upstairs to look for Andre. I headed to my room to find a crystal blue dress placed on my be-d with a note and one single red rose on it.
I walked towards the be-d and picked the rose and note. The note re-ad “Get dressed and meet me in the garden when you’re done. Love, Andre.”
I smiled and held the note to my che-st as I stared at the beautiful dress. I did as the note directed and found a note and a rose waiting for me at the entrance of the garden.
The note re-ad “You’re beautiful.”
I picked it up and looked ahead to find yet another rose and note. The cycle continued until I reached the last note which re-ad “Look ahead.”
I did and I couldn’t help but g@sp as I did. I’d been so busy gathering the notes that I hadn’t noticed my surroundings.
The section of the garden that I was in had been decorated with lights and streamers hung all over and in front of me stood Andre. He was standing in front of a tree dressed in a suit, grinning at me.
I got over my shock and made my way over to him.
“Andre, what’s going on?” I asked.
He only smiled and nodded. At his nod, soft music began pla-ying in the background and he turned back to him.
Then to my utmost surprise, he went down on one knee.
“Andre, what…what are you doing?”
“I’m proposing, silly. Now quit talking so I can start. I’m alre-ady nervous as it is.”
“Whatever.” I said, rolling my eyes jokingly but I didn’t talk again.
“Okay. Here goes… Words fail to explain how much I’ve grown to love you over the past few months. I never knew I could love anyone the way I do until I met you. You’re beautiful, smart, confident, spunky, you’re your own person and I love you just the way you are, Cleo.
I love you more than life itself and I want to grow old with you. With that said, will you make me the happiest man in the universe and marry me?”
Upon saying that, he reached into his br£@st pocket and brou-ght out a black box. He opened it and in it sat a large diamond ring set in a silver band with tiny blue crystals encrusted around it.
“Andre, I-I don’t know what to say.” I said truthfully, unable to get over the shock.
“Say yes?” Andre said, his eyes hopeful. I couldn’t help but bur-st into laughter.
“Yes! Yes!! Yes a thousand times over!!!” I yelled happily.
Andre chuckled and placed the ring on my f!nger before standing up, pu-lling me into his arms and k!ss!ngme like our lives depended on it.
We pu-ll-ed ap@rt and I watched as our friends c@m£ out from hidden corners, laughing and cl@pping.
“Congratulations to the newest couple in town.” Kyla said smiling.
“We aren’t married yet, Ky.” I said, hvgging her.
“Nevertheless you’re a couple.” Kyla said rolling her eyes as we separated.
While Kyla and I talked, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see my Dad.
“Dad!” I said hvgging him.
“Congratulations, baby girl. You have no idea how happy I am right now.”
I chuckled. “I think I might have an idea considering that I’m the one who was proposed to.”
“Yeah. Yeah. Of course.”
I smiled and hvgged him again. We’ve gotten close since the time he visited and I decided that it’s time to put the past where it belongs— the past.
While still hvgging my dad, I saw a familiar face which I never expected to see.
“Hey Cleo.” She said meekly as I drew away from my dad and walked over to her.
“What are you doing here?”
“I-I c@m£ to apologize. I’m sorry, Cleo. It might not mean much but I really regret everything. It was dumb and irrational and…”
I cut her off with a hvg. “Just don’t do it again, okay?”
“I promise.”
I smiled and hvgged her even more.
Andre pu-ll-ed me away from her a while after and led me to a quiet place in the garden that had an excellent view of the sunset. And we sat together and watched the sunset quietly.
After the beautiful scene, I sighed and turned to Andre just as he turned to me.
“I love you, Andre Simmons.”
“I love you too, Cleona Reynolds.”
We drew close to each and joined ourl-ips in a lingering k!ss……………
(💙When two pla-yers fall in love💞)
“You may now k!ssthe bride.” The priest said but I was way ahead of him.
Cleo was alre-ady in my arms, ourl-ips fused together as we k!$$£d each other recklessly.
We pu-ll-ed ap@rt after a while and turned to the cheering crowd all smiles, our hands linked together. Then we slowly made our way down the aisle, st©pping to greet family and friends as we did.
The celebr@tion continued in the reception and I never for once let go of my lovely bride. We danced, drank, ate and p@rtied before eventually retiring to our suite for the night.
“I love you.” I said as we made our way to the be-d.
“I love you too… So damn much!” Cleo breathed out in reply.
I smiled as I la-id her on the be-d and fused ourl-ips together.
I’m in love with her and that’s all that matters!
“Daddy! Daddy! See what I got!” Little Tamika said running over to Andre.
“Wow! That’s a pretty picture. Don’t you think so too, Cleo?”
“It is a pretty picture, Tami. Who did you draw?” I asked.
“Well this is Mommy and Daddy and Granddad and Carmen and Amaya which is me and little Robin in Mommy’s stomach.”
I smiled and cu-mpped her cheek before placing a pe-ck on her forehead.
“That’s so sweet Mika. How about you go show your picture to Granddad and Carmen?”
“Okay Mommy.” She replied and toddled away.
I turned to look at Andre who was staring at me.
“You’re crying.” He said smiling.
“I am, aren’t I?” I replied wiping my cheeks with the back of my hand. “This pregnancy is just ma-king me really emotional, you know.”
Andre chuckled and said “Oh! I know. You almost drove me crazy when you were pregnant with Tamika and don’t even get me started about Carmen.”
“Oh! St©p it!” I said laughing.
“Still though, you looked especially pretty during those times and you look even more pretty right now.”
“Don’t lie to me Andre. I know I’m fat. I’ve put on so much weight and I’m scared that you’ll find another woman…”
“Shush! You’re not fat. You’re pregnant and I would never do that to you. I love you.”
“I love you too.”
He smiled and k!$$£d me before rocking me to sleep in his arms.
Kyla and Scott got married and now have four kids. They’re expecting another one soon. c@m£ron and Ariadne got back together after we found out the reason why he actually did what he did. Damian is getting married soon as well.
As for Sierra, unfortunately she tried escaping and she got killed in the process. Ian committed suicide while in jail, ra-phael died in a prison br@wl and Reyna is currently engaged to Damian.
And me? Well I’m Cleona Reynolds, former pla-ygirl, now married to a former pla-yer as well. I have two beautiful daughters and I’m expecting a boy soon. nee-dless to say, my life turned out good.
I never would have thought that a simple bet would lead me to love but it did and I really couldn’t be happier. Why?
Because I’m with the love of my life and nothing can change that…
And we lived happily ever after……………..
And that concludes our story!!! 🙃🙃🙃
It was a really bu-mpy ride but at last, we’ve reached the end.
