Subtitle: drunken mistake
NARRATOR’S POV
Kendra and pastor femi ki-ssed for close to five minutes leaving Lilian in total disbelief.
kendra gave femi a last ki-ss and came down from his body…. she went to stand in front of Lilian
KENDRA
unfortunately you came rather too late, you see this man right here? is already mine….trust me when I say I didn’t work ha-rd for it just like I supposed you did… and as for the slap? I will let that go…..if you try to shit me next time, I will tell you I grow up in the hood….. baby let’s get out of here.
Pastor femi was just smiling, with his gentle nature, God has blessed him with a hot woman and with that he was sure no one could intimidate them.
pastor femi collected Lilian keys from her and drove her car out of the way, he parked it at a Conner and came down to open his gate.
LILIAN
baby you can’t do this to me and you know it, you know I love you so much
PASTOR FEMI
I don’t love you anymore li, I’m sorry….we have separate goals…my serving God is a border to you, but you see this woman? she cares about my dreams and goals.
Michael was coming to see kendra when he saw pastor femi and kendra ki-ssing, his heart skipped, he couldn’t believe his eyes, he didn’t know if he should drive away or come down from the car to confront them.
The most hurting part was that it was Kendra that went until pastor and not the other way round…. but why didn’t pastor femi pushed her away? why did he ki-ssed her back and even acted like they have been doing it before?
alot of crazy stuff ran throu-ghhis mind that he almost lost it.
Pastor femi drove into his compound and kendra started to close the gate…. Lilian ran in her way and tried to stop her but kendra pushed her slightly so she wouldn’t hurt her and shut the gate.
Michael stayed in his car for a while crying, Lilian noticed the young man has been there since so she walked up to him to talk
LILIAN
wHy are you parked in front of someone’s compound….are you a stalker?
MICHAEL
I’m sorry
He apologized and started his engine but Lilian took the keys from his car.
LILIAN
you don’t look okay, what happened?
MICHAEL
I saw want happened, who is that man to you?
LILIAN
oh you saw that? wait are you crying because of me?
MICHAEL
No, no…. I’m not trying because of you, what? I’m not crying
(he said cleaning his tears)
LILIAN
you don’t have to lie, I saw you crying….as for your question, that man you saw me with few minutes ago is my fiancee, we had a little misun-derstanding and they I told him I was done.. I only did that because I wanted him to miss me….the normal women’s shenanigans but that bi*ch took him away from me…. did you see the way she just ki-ssed him in front of me.
MICHAEL
I love Kendra so much, I even wanted to marry her, I still do but why would she betray me like this? for no one else but her Pastor? I’m seriously hurt and I can’t hide it…. I just can’t
LILIAN
oh wow, this is so interesting, your woman is with my man, and my man is with your woman…. that’s an irony…. what do you think we should do?
MICHAEL
I don’t know, I’m going to clear my head…please give me my key.
LILIAN
you nee-d a company for that, since the two people we are in love with are in there betraying us….why don’t we go and have a drink to chill out a little….. huh?
Michael didn’t argue, his strength wasn’t enough to waste it on an argument… he opened the car door for her and she ran to her car picked her handbag, locked the car and ran back to join Michael in his car.
Inside the house kendra immediately walked to the kitchen to get water for herself and femi…. she came back with two glas-s of water and gave femi one.
He drank it and kept the cu-p on the table.
PASTOR FEMI
I’m sorry babe
KENDRA
why are you sorry?
PASTOR FEMI
I didn’t know she was coming, I promise
KENDRA
stop it femi, I know you didn’t invite her to come, she came here because she’s looking for attention.
PASTOR FEMI
(He smiled)
but babe you really have some balls you know
KENDRA
what!!! please leave me I’m hungry
(she said smiling too)
PASTOR FEMI
(He pulled her to seat on his lap-s)
what do you want to eat?
KENDRA
I’m so hungry that I can eat you if you turn to food ooh
PASTOR FEMI
okay, go ahead and eat me…i permit you.
(he said and ki-ssed her ne-ck)
KENDRA
I want swallow, I will make semo, I think we still have some soup.
PASTOR FEMI
I will make it…. just seat here
KENDRA
no way, we are going together…..wait for me.
Pastor femi pulled her up and they went together to the kitchen.
Michael and Lilian went to a bar where they ordered for drinks, they drank till Michael got drunk….. Lilian went to the receptionist and asked if they could lodge….. the receptionist told her yes,that they had vacant rooms.
She collected one and dragged Michael inside…. immidiately they entered Lilian started to ki-ss Michael.
Michael wasn’t interested in the ki-ss, he was just blabbering about how hurt Kendra hurt him…. Lilian didn’t stop, she continued to ki-ss him till Michael started to ki-ss her back.
He thought he was ki-ssing Kendra not knowing he was ki-ssing Pastor’s ex fiancee.
the ki-ss became fierce and they started to pull each other clothes…. within minutes they were both totally nak-ed.
Lilian tried to pull Michael on top of him, but the dude was feeling sleepy so she quickly climbed on him and started to ride on him slowly…. she and Michael had unprotected se-x thrice.
After the marathon they slept off…..
The next morning Michael woke up to see a strange woman lying beside him…. he looked at himself and saw that he was nak-ed…. he jumped down from the bed screaming which woke Lilian up from her beauty sleep.
LILIAN
why are you screaming?
MICHAEL
Who are you? what are you doing on my bed?
he looked around and even found out he was not in his room
MICHAEL
where I’m I? why I’m I nak-ed? please what happened between us yesterday?
LILIAN
you asked too many questions, well we are in a hotel, and we had s-× together last night… we had an unprotected s-×…. not to worry I already took drugs, I won’t come back in one month’s time to say I’m pregnant.
MICHAEL
holy Mary mother of God…. why ? why did you do this to me? you took advantage of my State, you Jezebel.
LILIAN
oh please, we both enjoyed it so don’t put the blame on alcohol.
Michael felt like strangling her but he held himself, he picked his clothes and wore them quickly and ran out of the room….. Lilian started to laugh really ha-rd

Subtitle: going back home
NARRATOR’S POV
The convention came to an end and everyone went back to their homes.
the day they were to leave, they all took their bags to the church, immediately they shared the grace everyone entered their car and started leaving one after the other so as not to miss their flight or travel on the road at night.
As they arrived at Abuja pastor femi drove Kendra home before he went to his house…. since the next day would be service in his church he didn’t feel the nee-d to stop by in the Church.
He parked in front of kendra’s compound
PASTOR FEMI
thank you Jesus for journey mercies
KENDRA
yeah….so are you coming in?
PASTOR FEMI
I’m so tired Ken, if I go inside I would be too lazy to drive home…. I will just go home, I will see you tomorrow in Church.
KENDRA
do you have a cook at home? I would have prepared something for you to eat before you go.
PASTOR FEMI
that’s so sweet of you dear, but don’t worry I’m going to manage.
KENDRA
alright, if you insist….get home safe.
PASTOR FEMI
I will….. goodnight and remember I love you
KENDRA
I love you too ….. bye
she moved from his car and waved at him, pastor femi waited for her to enter her house before he drove away
femi got to his house and was welcomed with a loud music, he wondered where that music was coming from since he stays alone in the house…. he quickly picked his bags and hurried inside to see who was inside his house.
pastor femi was surprised to see how littered his whole room looked, bottles of empty alcoholic drinks was everywhere
“what the hell…. who did this in my house”?
he heard a sound in the kitchen so he went to check, to his surprise Lilian was there….. she turn to look at him, smiled and continued with what she was doing.
LILIAN
welcome back
PASTOR FEMI
Lilian what are you doing in my house? how long have you been here? how did you get the keys to my house.
LILIAN
common babe, I’m your fiancee remember? so I have your spare keys…. im making dinner, go freshen up
PASTOR FEMI
okay I remember giving you the keys and I remember taking it back from you, so how did you get it again?
LILIAN
I remade the keys, but that’s not important right now…. I’m cooking your favorite go freshen up and come have dinner.
PASTOR FEMI
Lilian I don’t know what you are up to, I still don’t know why you are acting all crazy…. but do me a favor and leave my house before I come back here.
he said and started to walk away but Lilian’s voice stopped him Midway.
LILIAN
That would be over my dead body
PASTOR FEMI
really? then be ready to die…
He said and left her in the kitchen angrily, Lilian laughed like a crazy woman…. as she laughed she slapped herself ha-rd on the face, she kept laughing and slapping herself ha-rd on the face…. she continued till her face started to bleed…. she didn’t stop there, she carried a small knife and started to cut herself….. she made sure to ruin her body with scars before she dropped the knife.
She sat in the kitchen for a while, soon she started to feel dizzy because of the too much blood she was losing.
Soon she pas-sed out on the floor in the kitchen.
Pastor femi didn’t border telling his woman because he felt it would anger her if she find out lilian is in his house so he kept quiet.
He took his bath and came downstairs to clear the mess Lilian had made and send her out of his house…. he came downstairs and went to the kitchen to check if she had gone oy to meet blood all over and Lilian lying on the floor.
PASTOR FEMI
Jesus Christ, Lilian!!!!!!!!!!!!
He screamed and ran to hold her…. he panicked when he found out she was unconscious, he tou-ched her pulse, she was breathing slowly…. he carried her up to his car outside , ran back and took his keys…. he drove like a mad man to the hospital…. because pastor femi is a very respected person and a public figure pastor, they took Lilian from him and started to treat her.
Pastor femi wasn’t settled, he kept walking up and down the hospital praying for God to save Lilian…. he thanked God that he didn’t end up praying someone like Lilian else his life would have been miserable.
The next day which was on Sunday pastor femi went back home and got ready for church, lilIan had opened her eyes before he left for church but she wasn’t talking but the doctors as-sured him that she would be okay.
Immidiately pastor femi left for home to get read for church she demanded to see the head doctor…. that she was feeling so much pain and nee-ds a painkiller.
As it is the policy of the hospital they asked her what happened to her and she started to cry.
LILIAN
that man everyone respect and love so much is nothing but a beast, we have been in a relationship for two years now…. and those past years he has always hit me at any slightest opportunity without mercy…. I ran away and went to the state for six months then I came back because he was threatening to have me fire from my place of with his connection if I didn’t come back…I love my job so well and it pays well….I had to come back…. he has been away for months, he asked me to come visit him at place he was…. I went there, because I didn’t allow him to sleep with me he sent me out in the middle of the night….I was attacked by bad boys and ra-ped….. he later called and apologize…… he called me to wait for him at h place, I obeyed him and went there, I was in the kitchen cooking when he came… he wanted to have s-× with me in the kitchen there…. I refused, I told him it was wrong…. he got angry and started to hit me….
(she said crying)
while she was talking the doctor asked his nurse to record all she was saying…. after she finished talking the doctor went outside and called the police to go arrest pastor femi for an attempted murder.
Pastor femi was on the pulpit preaching when the Nigeria police van parked in front of his church and went inside with their guns in hands and their face looking very mean.
They walked to the pulpit to arrest him…. everyone started to shout and querrel, they have no idea why they were arresting their pastor who has been away for two months doing God’s work.
FIRST PERSON
we know our right officer, you can’t just walk in here and arrest a man of God without telling him his offense.
SECOND PERSON
I’m am officer of the law too, why are you arresting this man?
(he brou-ght out his ID and show it to them)
They salute him seeing that he was higher than them I’m rank.
OFFICER ONE
we are here to arrest him for an attempted murder and ra-pe.
PASTOR FEMI
what?
he screamed in shock, he couldn’t believe they were arguing for attempted murder and ra-pe…. he looked at kendra’s face to see if she believed what they were saying but she was in shock.
