I walked to the living room with a bowl of ch!ps and another bowl which contained the di-p. I placed them on the floor, just a few feet away from the television. Then I sat in front of it and pu-ll-ed out my phone from my jeans pocket. I went to my contacts and dialed Welchi’s number, she picked up almost immediately
📱”Yah, where are you? The livestream is about to start” I said
📲 “I’m almost at your place. I’m in Bong-Hong street alre-ady” She replied from the other end of the line
📱”Arras-seo, see you in a bit” I mouthed and ended the call
Welchi is coming over for the first time so we can watch the livestream of the “Golden Disc Awards” together. Award season began yesterday but it’s kicking off fully today with the Golden Disc Awards. All the A-list celebrities and idols – including Oppa of course – are attending. Every single person in South Korea – and other p@rts of Asia as well – are going to watch this livestream cause everyone is curious to know who is going to take home the highest number of awards but most importantly; everyone wants to know the hair colour that Oppa is going to come to the Award show with 😁
Millions of people have guessed the colour of hair that Oppa is going to come with online. I guessed that he might show up with red hair and Welchi guessed blue, so now it’s up to Oppa to put his fans out of their anxiety and finally reveal the colour of hair he’s showing up with.
The doorbell rang and I sprang up and ran to the door. I opened it and Welchi walked into the house smiling.
“Welcome, I thought you’d never make it” I said and she giggled as she took off her knee-length black coat
“Is it cold outside?” I asked, taking her coat from her and hanging it on the visitors coat rack
“So cold! It’s freezing!” She replied, shuddering and ru-bbing her arms and I giggled
“Well let’s go to the living room. The heater is on so it’s much warmer there” I uttered and she nodded.
We walked into the living room and took our sp©ts in front of the television.
“So have you changed your mind and picked another colour for Baekhyun’s hair?” She asked in a taunting tone and I chuckled
“Nope, I’m still sticking with red and nothing is going to change my mind” I replied
“Alright” She shrugged with a sly smile
“plea-se help yourself” I said, referring to the ch!ps and di-p.
“Kumawoyo” She mouthed and gr@bb£d a ch!pbefore putting it in the di-p and throwing it into her mouth
“Mmmn, the di-p is delicious” She m0@n ed still chewing
“Kumawoyo, I made it myself” I boasted, smiling.
Just then, Luhan walked into the living room all dressed up
“Hello ladies” He greeted
“Hi Luhan! Are you going out? Aren’t you going to watch the livestream of the Golden Disc Awards with us?” Welchi asked and he smiled
“I would love to…… but I have an important engagement, so I can’t stay” He replied and Welchi made a soft sound of disappointment
“Okay then, good luck!” I said and he smiled
“Thanks and you two have fun” He uttered and walked out of the house
“Gosh, Hyuna. Luhan is so handsome” Welchi squealed immediately he left. I giggled and shrugged
“Yes he is but he’s not as handsome as my Oppa” I sighed dreamily, remembering the k!sswe shared.
He had called me later in the night that same day and apologized for running away like a scared little mouse. He admitted he did that because he didn’t know what to say after we had shared that heated and pas-sionate k!ss. And he also promised not to do it again next time while I just kept giggling and blu-shing like a fool 😂
We had also talked about other things like the Award season and how busy he’s going to be until it’s over. So for now, I guess I’ll only be seeing him on TV but at least it’s better than not seeing him at all.
“Hyuna! Baekhyun just arrived!” Welchi squealed, jo-lting me out of my thoughts. I looked up at the television and watched with wi-de eyes as a shiny black limousine pu-ll-ed over in front of the award venue. The double doors flung open and Welchi and I leaned in closer, our eyes sparkling and twi-nkling with expectation. I g@sped when I saw a feet wearing a shiny black shoe stick out from the limousine and t©uçh the floor gently, then it was quic-kly followed by the second feet before a blonde-haired head stuck out.
“Oh……….my………..god” I g@sped out breathlessly as Oppa emerged from the limousine, dressed in a shiny navy blue knee-length bu-tton coat with shiny black p@n-ts and shoes. He wore a turtle-n£¢k yellow sweater un-der the coat which was finally t©pped off with his golden-yellow blonde hair. He looked even more gorgeous than he usually does 😍😍
“Whaaat! Blonde hair! He chose blonde hair!” Welchi screamed, never taking her eyes off the television for once
“We were so far off…….. I can’t believe I guessed red!” I said, sl@pping my own th!gh, still glued to the television
👤”Oh! And here comes Baekhyun now!” A female reporter announced and immediately she finished her s£ntence; loud screams and squeals erupted from fans who were waiting outside the venue to see if they could sp©t their favourite celebrities and Idols. Immediately Oppa approached the red carpet reception area, everywhere turned into a frenzy: The paparazzi took over and began flashing their c@m£ras while the fans kept screaming.
Oppa st©pped at the red carpet and stood, facing the paparazzi to enable them get enough sh0ts of him. They kept screaming and yelling things to him as they flashed their c@m£ras:
👤”Baekhyun! You look handsome tonight!”
👤”Baekhyun, do you think you’ll win any awards tonight?!!”
👤” Baekhyun! Smile for the c@m£ra!”
👤”Baekhyun! Hi! Look over here!”
👤” Baekhyun why are you so handsome?!!”
Oppa kept smiling and waving to them while he kept turning and standing at different angles and positions as the paparazzi snapped away with their flashing c@m£ras. I wonder how those multi-ple flashing lights don’t irritate his eyes cause I know they will definitely irritate mine. I watched in admiration and awe as he looked at the c@m£ra that was covering the livestream we were watching and flashed his white smile which looks even whiter tonight. I still can’t believe that this Greek god standing there k!$$£d me just a few days ago 😳😳
The flashes from the c@m£ras reflected in his eyes and made them sparkle. The crowd screamed even louder when he started b!owing k!sses to them
👤”Baekhyun! Show us your yellow sweater!”
👤”Who designed your outfit?!!”
They yelled and Oppa slowly un-bu-ttoned his blue coat and held it ap@rt so they could see the fluffy yellow sweater he was wearing un-derneath. They squealed and flashed their c@m£ras even fas-ter. Then Oppa bu-ttoned up his coat and they made sounds of dissatisfaction.
👤”Look! THE VORTEX just pu-ll-ed over!” The female reporter announced again and the c@m£ra showed the entrance to the award venue and I smiled as all 5 members of THE VORTEX climbe-d out of a much longer limousine than the one Oppa arrived in. They were dressed in matching white on white clothes and they all looked dashing. They walked over to where Oppa stood and I smiled as Oppa and Taeyang hvgged each other, smiling wi-dely.
They stood side by side for pictures for a while before Oppa gave a final wave to the fans and paparazzi and left THE VORTEX to have their own personal time in front of the c@m£ras. Jessi also arrived later on in her white limousine, dressed in an elegant white designer dress
The rest of the award show took place inside the hvge event hall. Oppa won 4 awards that night and THE VORTEX won 3 while Jessi won 2
Infact, JP entertainment artistes took home almost all the awards.
