I gr@bb£d another shi-t and pu-ll-ed it on before turning back to Sihyeon who was sitting on my be-d, typing away on her phone.
“What about this one? What do you think?” I asked and she lifted her head to look up at me
“It looks nice…… you should definitely go with this one” she replied and I cli-cked my ton-gue
“Nahh, I don’t think I like it….. it’s too dull and it makes me look fat” I countered and turned back to my closet
“Why bother asking for my opinion if you’re just going to do what you want?” She asked frowning at me and I smiled apologetically
“Miahneyo…… the truth is I’m really nervous about this whole d@t!ngthing. I still don’t even know how I’m going to ask her to be my girlfriend! I’ve taken way too long to pop the question and now that I’ve finally gathered enough courage to do it… I feel like I’m going to pas-s out or end up b!tt!g my ton-gue” I breathed, tou-ching my forehead.
She stared at me blankly for a while before she bur-st out laughing
“Why are you laughing? I just told you that I’m freaking out and all you can do is laugh?!”
“I’m so sorry….. I can’t help it. I just can’t believe a girl is ma-king you this nervous” she said after she st©pped laughing
“Hyuna isn’t just any girl…… she’s the one” I uttered with a dreamy smile on my face
“The one?”
“Yes, the one that makes me go to be-d with a smile every night, the one that makes me sing in the shower, the one that inspires me to write amazing songs, the one that makes me happy for no reason at all….. whenever I’m with her I’m always happy. I honestly can’t remember the last time I got sad or angry for the past 3 months” I said, pla-ying with the hem of the shi-t
“I still can’t believe this…… Baekhyun is in love!” She squealed, cl@pping her hands and bouncing on the be-d.
I chuckled and pu-ll-ed off the shi-t before picking up another one
“I’m honestly happy for you…… I like Hyuna too, she’s very pretty, polite and adorable. You two are perfect for each other” she said and I smiled wi-dely
“Thanks…… I think so too” I muttered
“Well hurry up now! You don’t want to keep the girl you’re about to ask to be your girlfriend waiting, do you?” She prodded and I nodded quic-kly
“I just have to find the perfect outfit” I uttered, looking down at the pile of clothes I had scattered across the floor
“Geez, just wear anything, you know you’ll look handsome no matter what you wear so why are you ma-king such a fuss? Anyway, I’ll help you find one” she said and I smiled thankfully
“Thank you so much Sihyeon! What would I do without you?”
“Nothing….. absolutely nothing. You can’t function without me” she replied and I chuckled helplessly

I looked at my reflection in the mirror for the hundredth time and exhaled de-eply,….. tonight is the night! This is the first time Oppa and I are going out on an official d@t£?? I’m so excited and nervous at the same time.
I t©uçhed and re-t©uçhed my hair over and over again. I checked my makeup to make sure it looked okay, the door opened and Welchi walked in, grinning at me
“Looks like someb©dy is all re-ady for their d@t£ with their Prince charming!” She squealed, wi-nking and wiggling her eyebrows at me
“Ahh yes I’m re-ady…… I’m so nervous Welchi I feel like I’m going to throw up!” I g@sped out, fanning myself with my hand repeatedly, she smiled knowingly and placed her hands on my shoulders
“I totally un-derstand…… but there’s no nee-d to be nervous! Everything is gonna go great! So, where’s he taking you?” She asked and I snorted
“We can’t go to a public place Welchi, do you want us to get mobbe-d by his screaming fans?” I asked and she g@sped in realization
“I totally forgot about that…….. but where are you guys going then?”
“We’re just going to have a pri-vate, ro-mantic candle light dinner at his new place” I replied and she squealed
“So ro-mantic!” She cooed and I chuckled before suddenly realising how late I’m going to be if I don’t get a move on
“Oh my gosh! I’m so going to be late! I have to get going!” I g@sped and made to run to the living room but I paused at the door and turned back to Welchi
“plea-se tell me I look good……. I really want to impress him” I said and she chuckled
“You look gorgeous, beautiful, S-xy and totally h0t!” She replied and I heaved a sigh of relief, placing my hand on my che-st
“Thanks Welchi, you’re the best….. I love you so much!” I purred and blew her a k!ssbefore hurrying down the stairs in my Stiletto heels.
I ran out of my ap@rtment and walked to the elevator that would take me to the ground floor. I got to ground floor and walked out of the building to find Bobby; Oppa’s b©dyguard and driver leaning on an expensive looking car, he smiled and waved to me as I walked up to him
“Bobby?” I called, smiling “what are you doing here?”
“Little Man asked me to pick you up and bring you to the new place” he replied with a wi-nk and I blu-shed
“Jinjja? Well that’s great!” I breathed and he opened the back door for me
“Are you sure? Cause I think I’d prefer sitting beside you” I asked hesitating and he chuckled
“Absolutely not……. Little Man wants us to treat you like a queen and that’s what I’m going to do” he uttered and I blu-shed again
Oppa is so sweet ??
“Well okay….if you insist”
I climbe-d into the back seat and he closed the door before walking to the drivers seat and taking his place there before starting the car and driving into the main express
“You look really beautiful, Little Man is very lucky” he whistled and I chuckled
“Thanks, Bobby”
I looked sideways still blu-shing, my eyes twi-nkled with excitement as I suddenly couldn’t wait to see Oppa and……. why do I feel like he’s going to ask me to be his girlfriend tonight? It’s just a hunch though….. I could be wrong.
I smiled to myself when we drove past the billboard with my picture for the Hera Black Foundation, I tucked my hair behind my ear carefully, still looking out the window. I frowned slightly when I saw a billboard I hadn’t seen before along this street. It was really hvge, way bigger than the one with my picture. It was a picture of 5 girls standing in a well-arranged formation, all of them striking different stylish poses with expensive outfits…. they were all wearing masks that covered half of their faces, revea-ling only their eyes, the ti-p of their noses and then finally theirl-ips. I g@sped when I re-ad the bold writing on the billboard;

“Bobby?…….. I thought BLACK VELVET was supposed to have only 4 members” I said to him as we finally drove past the billboard
“Yes, but J.Park decided to make it 5 members” he replied
“Oh” I mouthed and turned my n£¢k to look back at the billboard…….. I guess it’s really happening…..a new girl group is coming ?
That means Jessi’s reign as the only female singer signed un-der JP is coming to an end soon.

We finally arrived at the mansion and Bobby st©pped the car in front of the gate, my jaw dropped at the hvge and mas-sive gate…… like why thefu-ck is it so big and mas-sive and black? It was so big that I couldn’t even catch the tiniest glimpse of the mansion behind. The size of the gate was strangely intimid@t!ng.
Bobby rolled down his window and I watched as he reached out and placed his thumb on a black box with a screen…. the screen scanned his thumb and made a beeping sound as he re-moved it. Then a female computer voice said in English;
?”Access granted…… welcome Bobby”
“Whoa…..it even knows your name?” I g@sped as the hvge gate rolled open and that was when I realized it had wheels un-derneath
“It knows everyone whose f!ngerprint is saved in its database and only those people can enter the mansion” Bobby replied as he drove into the wi-de and spacious vicinity of the mansion.
My jaw dropped again as I beheld the structure.
There was a water fountain in the middle with a statue of a woman holding something that looked like a pot and that was where the water poured out from. The vicinity was illuminated with bright lights from tall poles which looked like street lights. The mansion itself is a sight for so-re eyes…..it was built in such an exotic and luxurious fashion, it reminded me of those rare, 16th century castles from stories about kings, queens and br@ve knights. I feel like I’m in a fairytale ??
I was still admiring the structure when Bobby opened the car door for me and called my name
“Oh…. sorry, I was just admiring the house. It’s breathtaking and it looks like it must have cost a fortune!” I g@sped, taking his hand as he helped me out of the car. I walked closer to the building, looking up at it, still awed and fascinated by its beauty
“Well, yes it did cost a fortune………300 Million U.S dollars” Bobby replied, coming to stand beside me
“Whaaat! 300 Million dollars?!” I exclaimed ” why did Baekhyun throw away such an obnoxious amount of money on a house?!!” I added and he snorted
“300 Million is very cheap, most celebrities buy even smaller houses than this for Billions of dollars” he uttered and I sighed………he’s totally right but I still think 300 Million is a lot of money, I mean if I had that amount of money in my account, I won’t have to work for at least 10 years
“Hyuna! You’re finally here!” A familiar female voice called and I turned to see Sihyeon Unnie walking out of the mansion. She beamed at me and I smiled back a little shyly though
“Welcome…… we’ve been expecting you, you look absolutely stunning” she said when she got to us and I blu-shed
“Kumawoyo Unnie”
“You’re very welcome, c’mon let me take you inside” she beckoned and I nodded before bading Bobby goodbye and thanking him for bringing me.
I followed her and we walked to the door, she placed her thumb on another scanner and it made a beeping sound before the hvge doors opened. We stepped into the mansion and my jaw dropped……….is this heaven? ?
The floors were so smooth and shiny that I could see my reflection on it, the ceiling was high and hvge chandeliers hung from it, everything, every design, every detail of the interior of this mansion was carefully planned and arranged.
She led me to a room that looked like a banquet hall……it was very wi-de and there was a long banquet table in the middle. It was so far ap@rt that people sitting at the edges would have to yell before they can talk to each other. Is this where Oppa and I are going to have our dinner? Cause I don’t think it’s going to work out
“Well, my job here is done. Baekhyun will find you and you two can begin your d@t£. Have fun!” She cooed and turned around to walk away
“Wait…… are you leaving? Like, going out the gates?” I asked
“Of course, you two nee-d your privacy. I wouldn’t want to get in the way of anything” she replied with a wi-nk and I blu-shed
“Toodles!” She waved at me and disappeared from view
I sighed and continued looking around the room, there were paintings on the walls, different paintings that I couldn’t un-derstand their pattern and meaning. I giggled when I saw a painting of a French man dressed in their ancient funny looking clothes. I was about moving to the next painting when I caught a whiff of a very familiar cologne……….. Oppa ?
I spun around sharply and my eyes beamed when I saw him standing at the doorway, leaning on it. He was looking as handsome as ever in a long-sleeved Versace shi-t with shiny black p@n-ts and shoes, his black hair looked even more shiny in the hall’s lights. My knees weakened with excitement when he smiled at me and began walking towards me……..Oh My, this is so exciting
? Baekhyun’s POV ?
I st©pped just a few inches away from her and we both stood, gazing into each others eyes, not saying a word. She looked so beautiful in her green knee-length dress that showed off her flawless straight legs and hourglas-s figure.
I bit my l!pnervously, fighting the urge to k!ssher
“You look breathtaking” I finally managed to say and her cheeks turned red immediately. I just love the way she blus-hes ? whenever she does, she always turns as red as a tomato ?
“T…….Thanks, you look very handsome too” she stuttered and I smiled before taking her soft hands in mine
“I’m just going to come out and say it cause I can’t hold it in any longer” I muttered and she blinked in slight confusion
“What is it?” She asked in a whisper and I sighed de-eply
“Hyuna…….. I want you to know that I love you so much, I’ve never felt for any woman what I feel for you. I’ve met many women that I could have easily fallen for but I didn’t…. maybe it’s because I knew that I would meet you someday. And…….. when I met you and we shared that strange electric shock, I was so surprised. I honestly never expected to meet my soulmate this early in life. Two years ago, I was stuck and confused…….. two women had just confessed to me and told me how they felt about me but I didn’t feel the same way. So I prayed to God and asked him to plea-se s£nd me someone that I would instantly know she’s the one when I meet her maybe by a rare sign or something like that. And he answered my prayers………by s£nding you. Hyuna, You’re all I ever wanted in life, plea-se……. make me the luckiest and most happiest man alive by saying yes to me” I breathed and went down on one knee, her eyes wi-de-ned and her hand flew to her mouth, covering it with her palm
“Hyuna, will you be my girlfriend?”
? Hyuna’s POV ?
“Hyuna, will you be my girlfriend?” He whispered and I felt my heart beat triple
Whaaat! ………is this a dream? Am I having one of those dreams where I dream about us getting married or going out together? Is this real? Is this real life??
Baekhyun, my first love, the only man I’ve ever had ro-mantic feelings for ever since I was 15 is asking me to be his girlfriend?! ?
The sound of his voice jo-lted me out of my spinning thoughts, I finally looked down at him, where he was kneeling before me
“What do you say?” He asked with expectant eyes
“YES! Yes, yes, yes…… I’ll be your girlfriend! We can even get married right now if you want. I honestly don’t care!” I rasped out and he sprang up and scooped me up from the floor in a bear hvg
“Yess! Thank you so much……. you have no idea how happy you’ve made me” he squealed twirling me as I giggled, he put me down carefully and claimed myl-ips with a k!ss, I responded quic-kly and we k!$$£d in perfect rhythm and harmony.
We broke the k!ssfor air and laughed together
“I had planned to ask you at dinner but I just couldn’t wait so I spilled everything” he said and I laughed
“I’m honestly glad you didn’t ask me during dinner cause I would have choked on my food from surprise” I breathed and he chuckled
“So, does this mean we’re now officially d@t!ng? And I can call you my b©yfri£nd?” I asked still trying to get used to the fact that I’m now the girlfriend of the one and only Baekhyun
“Of course…….. and I can also call you babe” he replied and I squealed
“C’mon……. let’s go have our dinner before it gets cold” he said and smooched myl-ips. I giggled as he scooped me up in a bridal style and carried me out of the hall
I still can’t believe that I; Kim Hyuna, a poor girl from Daegu who had nothing is now the girlfriend of Baekhyun, my Oppa, my Everything ??
