EPISODE 45
TWO DAYS LATER
Amanda was making a very suspicious call, she didn’t want anyone to hear so she went to the backyard to receive it
Ali was in the generator house doing some cleaning, for some reasons he heard foot steps and whispering coming to the backyard so he hide himself
AMANDA
you can’t do that to me mark, I already told you I will pay you all the money I own you….
Ali could not hear what the caller was saying but from Amanda’s reply he could tell mark is the person Amanda is owning some money.
AMANDA
I told you this pregnancy is our only ticket out of this country…. why are making it look like I ran away with your unborn child? calm down okay, I know Oscar his going to pay us lots of money.
Ali was confused, he wondered if Amanda was trying to pin another man’s pregnancy on his boss…. he doubted it because in his mind he thought
“chenemi is too harsh to let another woman stay in her husband’s house with a pregnancy that she knows belong to her husband” maybe she’s taliking about another Oscar”
He was still thinking when he heard Amanda screamed
AMANDA
kill her? common mark you know I can’t kill her…. you know I don’t love Oscar is his money I want….I just want to pin him with this pregnancy still I get what I want and leave with the baby…. he loves his wife so much…..if I kill her Oscar will not only kill me, he will look for my entire family and kill them all.
Hearing that made Ali very scared, he covered his mouth to avoid him from screaming….. He wanted to record but found out his phone wasn’t with him.
Amanda finished making her call, she looked right and left to be sure no one saw or heard her before she went back into the house.
Ali came out from his hiding place, he shook his head and went back to his duty post.
Tony has been thinking of what Amanda told him for days,…. if there’s anyone who deserve chenemi it should be him.
“I mean I was always there when she nee-ded me the most, I took care of her when that fool did nothing but neglect and hated her…. I showered her so much love that I even forgot to love myself….. I deserve her more than oscar….so why will she chose Oscar over me”?
Alot of good and bad thinking Crowded his mind, he was confused and didn’t know if he should make a deal with Amanda or just leave everything to God.
Chenemi and Oscar invited kunle for dinner, Oscar wanted to personally thank him for taking good care of his woman….he was even more surprised when chenemi told him kunle was the person who practically begged her to come back with the pregnancy else she would have taken it to her village…. Oscar immediately liked kunle, all the resentment he had for him all disappeared.
Since kunle would be coming home for dinner chenemi took it upon herself to cook kunle’s favorite foods and get his best wine.
She and Oscar went to the market for shopping, they bought all they nee-ded and came home to prepare.
Oscar did most of the work because he didn’t want chenemi to stress the baby…. if not because of her stubborn character Oscar would have hired someone sho
who would cook for them…..but chenemi wouldn’t hear of that.
Soon they finished cooking and went upstairs to take their bath…. dinner was already on the dinning…. chenemi had almost taken the last step on the stairs when she suddenly had a strange feeling.
OSCAR
what is it baby?
CHENEMI
nothing….I just feel like something bad is going to her
OSCAR
God forbid it….. don’t worry babe, nothing will happen.
CHENEMI
are you sure?
OSCAR
(He ki-ssed her head)
yeah love, I’m very sure…. let’s go.
Chenemi wanted to take that step again and her mind jumped again….she nodded her head in disagreement and told Oscar she’s definitely sure something would happen… but since she doesn’t know what would happen she will start by protecting herself and her love ones.
She quickly return to the dinning room and packed all the food back into the fridge and locked them up…. she sign a relief and smiled at her husband.
CHENEMI
let’s go have that shower you talked about.
OSCAR
babe sometimes you really surprise me
CHENEMI
how do you mean ?
OSCAR
nothing…. shall we?
CHENEMI
(She smiled)
sure….. let’s go.
Immediately they left the kitchen Anita tie toe into the kitchen, she tried to open the fridge but it was lock…. she tried to see if they forgot to put any of the food in the locked fridge but she was disappointed when she found nothing.
“today you are lucky, tomorrow you eont be lucky…. you foold dare to slap me Anita… I will make sure you pay for what you did to me”
she said inwardly and angrily went inside to meet her sister…. immediately Amanda saw her she knew something was up.
AMANDA
this one your face is like this….hope all is well?
ANITA
those fools lock the fridge and packed call the foods inside.
AMANDA
is your face like this because of food?
(she said laughing)
ANITA
I went to poison the food but they were lucky…. I’m sure next time they won’t be Lucky.
AMANDA
(Shocked)
“poison”? why? I mean did I bring you here to kill anyone for me? I only brou-ght you here as backup….not ad a killer….why will you even think of killing those two who are our tickets to good life?
ANITA
For three days I have been thinking of ways I would kill them for hitting me…. you can’t stop me.
AMANDA
I know they bruised your ego sis, but you nee-d to calm down….i was on the phone with Mark earlier and he was saying the same thing…. you both nee-d to start thinking with your head not your emotions please…. if you kill them we lose both easy, police will arrest us and no Dubai for us again.
ANTIA
once we get that money from Oscar, I’m definitely going to kill that little br@t
AMANDA
bring your voice down, someone might hear you.
ANITA
I’m very pissed off…. you know me ooh, you know that I don’t take shit from people talk more of a small girl.
AMANDA
I know, just calm down okay….. we soon deal with them… but for now let’s play innocent please.
Anita angrily got up and went downstairs to seat down.
Not long kunle drove into the compound and parked his car…. he walked to the front door and knocked….. Anita for up and opened the door for him.
KUNLE
Hi, good evening
Immediately Anita saw him, she recognized him, who wouldn’t recognize kunle Jide, the senator’s son….. the guy is literally everywhere on social media for his good work towards the people.
she jumped on him excitedly, hu-gging him so ti-ghtly….. kunle felt awkward but he kept his cool…. he gets that alot whenever his out without his guards.
ANITA
God bless today, if anyone told me I’m ever going to see you with this my two nak-ed eyes I would insult that person…but here you are in front of me.
Kunle slowly dropped her from his body and adjusted his shirt before talking to her….

kunle stylishly dropped Anita from his body and smiled at her dryly.
ANITA
sorry, I was just excited to see you.
CHENEMI
and you are not welcome to the party
Chenemi said fr behind them, she pushed Anita away and gave kunle a sweet and welcoming hu-g….kunle ki-ssed her both cheeks, Oscar walked closer to them too and him and kunle shoot hands.
OSCAR

KUNLE
thanks for having me here…..
OSCAR
dinner would get cold.
CHENEMI
guess what I cooked?
KUNLE
(He smiled)
I bet you cooked my favorite food.
CHENEMI
bingo you got it right….now let’s go before it gets cold.
They all headed to the dinning, chenemi went to the kitchen to get the foods from the fridge….oscar went to as-sist his girl too.
Before they would return Anita and Amanda were already seated at the table too.
ANITA
so how did you meet that local girl…. judging from the way you ki-ssed her….you guys have known each other for a while.
KUNLE
you are right, we have known each other for a while and I must tell you….chenemi is nothing like you
His statement pissed Anita up, she wanted to say something but Amanda grabbed her lap-s from un-der the table…. so she kept quiet….. soon chenemi and Oscar came out with the food, they were not surprised to see Anita and Amanda seated at the table…. in fact they knew they would definitely come to join them too.
chenemi dish the food for all of them and they say down to eat.
Anita was just eyeing chenemi evily because of the way Oscar and kunle were giving her all the attention.
Amanda too was jealous, she was the pregnant one so why were they focusing their attention on just chenemi.
after dinner they all went to the living room to discuss and relax….. amanda then decided to be mischievous…. she went and sat in-between chenemi and oscar.
AMANDA
sorry brother kunle, Oscar forgot to introduce us ealier….i guess he was so hungry….. my name is Amanda, I’m the mother of his unborn child.
OSCAR
what is wrong with you Manda?
AMANDA
what do you mean baby? I’m just taking my place as your woman … you don’t nee-d to yell and shout at me.
ANITA
she’s carrying your baby Oscar, you should treat her right please.
Oscar got up and pulled chenemi by the hand slowly, chenemi got up too and they asked kunle to follow them to the balcony.
Amanda got very angry, she grabbed Oscar by the arm and gave him a dirty slap.
AMANDA
how dare you think you can disgrace me oscar…. I have taken enough nonsense from you and this stupid girl here….I’m the one carrying your child, and I deserve down respect oscar…. don’t treat me like something you picked from the gutter…i won’t let you do that to me.
Oscar looked at her in pity, for sodm reason he pitied her…. truly he has really treated her bad…. fine it was obvious that amanda was after him because of his money…. but now that she’s pregnant with his child? the least she could get is a little bit of affection for the sake of the child.
He might not be too excited that another woman that is not his wife is pregnant for him…..but still the baby is his.
Immediately Amanda made her point she ran upstairs crying…. Anita ran after her sister too but Amanda locked the door.
He didn’t see that coming but chenemi gently released her hand from his and said.
CHENEMI
it’s fine oscar…. you can go to her.
OSCAR
but….
CHENEMI
seriously, it’s fine……i totally un-derstand…. go and talk to her….if not for her , at least for the baby.
Oscar hesitated before he went after amanda…. immediately Anita saw her, she hissed and went to her own room….
OSCAR
amanda open the door, I’m here so we can talk.
AMANDA
go away, I don’t want to see you…. leave me alone.
OSCAR
stop this Manda, you know you are pregnant and crying isn’t healthy for the baby…. please just open the door let’s talk.
She got up from the bed and opened the door for him, she returned back to the bed to lie down crying.
Oscar climbed on the bed and tried to turn her over to look at him but Amanda refuse.
OSCAR
why are you crying Manda?
AMANDA
Are you seriously asking me that question? for two years we dated, you beat me Al throu-ghthose period of time… now I’m even carrying your child and you still can’t treat me right…. I’m I that bad of a woman that you can’t love me?
She said and cried even more which made Oscar pity her even more.
He moved very closer to her and wiped her tears……she pulled away from him and increase the tempo of her cry…..
OSCAR
okay I’m sorry, I promise to do better by you and the baby…. but first you nee-d to stop crying.
AMANDA
I’m hurt oscar, I’m very hurt…. since I came you have treated me like a total stranger, no affection at all from you… I know yo are in love with that girl now… but you loved me first….i use to give you some joy…..so why do you suddenly hate me now?
OSCAR
I don’t hate you Amanda, I really don’t okay…. it’s just that I don’t know how to handle all this….i love chenemi and I don’t want to hurt her again.
AMANDA
so you are doing all this because you have hurt her once? but oscar you have hurt me too…. you have beaten me and thrown me out in the rain till morning…. you had some so many crazy and mean stuff to me….so why can’t you show me some pity too since you can’t love me.
(she cried more)
Oscar again tried to hold her, this time she didn’t push him away, she allowed him to hold her….. he turn her face to himself and wiped her tears away…. but the tears kept dropping…..
Oscar was lost in the moment so he ki-ssed her, her tears dropped in his mouth… he ki-ssed her even more and she responded…. they ki-ssed for a while before Oscar finally pulled himself together and got up quickly.
OSCAR
I’m sorry for leading you on
AMANDA
why did you stop? why can’t we be the way we use to?
OSCAR
That’s the point amanda, we can’t be like that anymore because it’s chenemi I love now… I don’t love you Amanda….. I’m going to let you stay here till you put to bed, I will give you money to get everything you nee-d for the baby and yourself… but I’m sorry if I can’t act the way you want me to.
The sound of money made amanda happy but she wanted him to fuc-k her too…. oscar is very good at it and she would give anything to have him sleep with her again.
She started to cry again, this time she held her stomach in pain which made oscar very worried.
OSCAR
what happened?
AMANDA
my stomach….I think I’m losing my baby….
Before oscar would say jack, Amanda fainted in his arms…… He immediately started calling for help and Anita ran in side to see her sister.
