“What?!” Salter and Josh exclaimed
“let’s search the house” Inspector Rogers said then they returned to Letricia’s house “search around” he ordered and they ran up different directions.
Josh entered the be-droom and saw Molly’s legs un-der the be-d. He ti-p toed to the be-d and dragged the legs out.
“Holy $h!t!” Josh exclaimed “Rogers! Salter!” he called out
“There’s a little girl lying dead here”
“what?!” Rogers ran into the be-droom “where could’ve stabbe-d a little girl in her forehead”
Salter also walked into the room and was shocked at the sight of Molly, lying on the floor with a knife stabbe-d in her forehead.
“We nee-d back up” Salter managed to say “the island isn’t safe”
STATION
“This is serious” Inspector Dan said pacing about “Who could’ve gone into their cell and kill them”
“The crime looks more like suicide that homicide” Maggie one of the female cops said
“They couldn’t have committed suicide Maggie, I believe whoever killed them made it look like suicide” Inspector Dan insisted
“There weren’t ropes in the cell. Where could they have gotten ropes to hang themselves?” Sophia asked rhetorically
“Unless one of us gave them ropes” Dan said with a shrug “those guys were suspects and they would’ve helped us get the real guy” Dan was annoyed
“We’re still working on finding who the killer is” Maggie said “They had only one visitor, Manon. But I was there with her and she didn’t give anything to them”
“Then who could’ve done it?” Dan punched the wall
“Take it easy on yourself Inspector” Sophia pacified
“I hate puzzles” Dan said between gritted teeth
“There’s going to be a way…. ” Maggie was still talking when Salter and Josh walked in
“Inspector Dan” They saluted and sat down
“What’s new?” Maggie demanded
“Two corpse in Jaina Island” Josh replied
“murder?”
“yes. A mother and daughter, we still haven’t found the father yet but they were both killed at the same time” Salter explained
“Do you think it’s related to the crime here?” Sophia asked
“we suspect it is cause the woman was about telling us who attacked Kyle and Océane when she was sh0t with a dart” Salter replied
“And we don’t know any other witness for now but the search team is still on patrol” Josh added
Inspector Dan heaved a sigh then sat on his chair and swivelled around to face them. “Call the search p@rty in Jaina Island, they have to be careful. We can’t lose Kyle and the girl”
UNKNOWN ISLAND 🌲 ☀
Kyle and Océane wandered about on the island till they got exhausted and st©pped by the sea side.
“This is bad” Océane heaved a de-ep sigh
“Really bad” Kyle agreed
Océane gazed into the water. She really missed her home.
“let’s pl@ya game” Océane suggested
“No” Kyle snapped
“why?”
“your games are very dangerous”
Océane chuckled
“Last time we pla-yed your game we had to sleep outside”
“we’re still going to sleep outside, whether we pl@ymy game or not”
“I still don’t agree. We owe me for the last time we pla-yed remember?”
“you still haven’t stated your price”
Kyle fell back on the sand “I’ll state it when the time comes”
Océane rolled her eyes and la-id beside him on the sand. She really wanted to pla-y, she was tired of the long, boring, trek.
“The sun is really friendly today” Kyle said pu-lling Océane into his arms “and we’re just like Adam and Eve”
“Very much” Océane agreed as she plaited his hair
“I don’t br@id my hair. I hate it a lot” Kyle said but didn’t st©p her
“I haven’t tried it before” Océane said and pu-ll-ed his hair intentionally
“Ouch?!”
“sorry” Océane chuckled “It was a mistake and I did it on purpose”
Kyle faked a frown and sat up.
“I don’t apologize” Océane noted
“Really?”
Océane sm-irked and ran out.
“Am not chasing you” Kyle shouted still sitting on the sand “I don’t have time for games” he added but Océane still ran into the bush.
Kyle la-id back on the sand, he wasn’t going to chase Océane even though he knew that was what she wanted. A thought entered his head. He was going to pretend to drown.
Kyle got up and jumped into the water, screaming. Océane ran out of the bush and looked his way immediately. However, Kyle knew in order to make it look realistic he had to go un-der water. So he did and in the water below, he pictured Océane rescuing him and k!ss!nghim– uh, I mean— doing a CPR.
Kyle had been knocked out– he really drowned himself without realizing it. The h0t, and heavy day dream about Océane, made him to forget to come up for air.
When he woke up, the sunlight was starting to fade. He was lying in the sand with Océane sitting beside him.
“What happened to you?” Océane asked
“what happened to me?” Kyle asked back
“you almost drowned”
“Again?” Kyle wondered “did you resuscitate me?”
“I thought you drank too much water so I sat on your che-st and you coughed them out”
“That’s not how to do a CPR” Kyle face palmed himself “I almost died for nothing”

“Madre school is scam” Maëlle shouted running down the stairs
“we know but it’s not your money” Rodriguez said then pe-cked Lise on herl-ips “Bye honey”
“Have a nice day at work”
“And a stressful day with your daughters” Rodriguez chuckled and walked out
“Madre?! I can’t find my sock” Maryse cried out holding one of her socks in her hand
“check in the drawers” Lise said
“I’ve searched there alre-ady. I think I lost it”
Lise rolled her eyes “you’ll get a new one on your way to…. ”
“Madre?!” Maëlys cut in with a skrie-k
“what’s wrong Maëlys?”
“Maëlle’s head is stuck in the toilet seat”
Lise ran up to the kids room and Maëlle was screaming in the toilet.
“Dear Lord” Lise sighed and pu-ll-ed Maëlle put gradually “what c@m£ over you?”
“$h!t! I thought I was scared” Maëlle heaved a de-ep sigh
“What did you see in there?” Maëlys asked
“Death! Death Maëlys! I saw death in form of faeces”
Maeva chuckled and wheeled herself in “I was alre-ady ma-king a mental shopping of a black dress”
“Am not gonna die Maeva” Maëlle stated
“I know” Maeva blew out air from her mouth “What a bad luck”
“Madre?!” Maëlys called fluttering her lashes
“what’s it Maëlys?”
“I was thinking you could call our teacher and tell her am sick”
“Why?”
“Cause I plan on falling sick”
“No excuses. You’re going to school” Lise stated and walked out
“mom doesn’t un-derstand” Maëlle drawled and sat on the be-d
“She doesn’t un-derstand a thing” Maryse agreed
“I just want to stay at home forever” Maëlle said “dad thinks we can’t make it without going to school so we have to prove him wrong”
“That’s silly sisters” Maeva rolled her eyes “dad wouldn’t be where he is if he hadn’t gone to school”
“Dad would’ve been greater than where he is now if he hadn’t gone to school” Maëlys spat out “a lot of time is wasted going to school”
“yea right” Maeva rolled her eyes and wheeled herself out
“Maeva is a pest, I just feel like strangling her” Maryse seethed, stamping her feet
“Maeva is a food for thought” Maëlle said “but for now, let’s think of a way to kill our drive on our way to school and get away”
“That’s a good idea” Maëlys concurred “why didn’t you think of it earlier? We could’ve been millionaires by now”
“It’s not too late” Maëlle said “let’s get re-ady for school”
ON THEIR WAY TO SCHOOL 🏫….
“Hold your horses” Maëlle shouted from the backseat and placed a grease spoon on the drivers head. The driver smiled and continued driving.
“Didn’t you hear her?” Maëlys shouted and brou-ght out her chopsticks
“st©p the car” Maryse brou-ght out a scre-w driver and they started hitting the driver.
“St©p— the car—”
The driver lost control but the cat skidded to a halt just in time.
“Let’s kill him” Maryse suggested when they got down from the car
“Are you scared of going to jail?” Maëlys asked
“That’s true. The police aren’t our friends” Maryse agreed and turned to the driver “This is for me to you” she hit him on his head with her scre-w driver
“Let’s go” They threw their weapons into the car and ran out.

Lovane hid in the wardrobe when no one was around then brou-ght out her shellophone to talk to Coral.
“How’s Oceania?” Lovane asked when Coral’s appeared in the shell
“They are at my mercy. Even Anais”
“Good to hear” Lovane replied with a note of sarcasm
“what’s wrong Lovane?”
“Kyle isn’t back yet”
“Anais said he’s alive”
“What about Océane?”
“She’s unpredictable”
“Life isn’t good again mother. I feel like…. ” Lovane trailed off “I don’t know what to say”
“you have to be patient. Time my child, time is all it takes and victory will be ours”
“I hope so mother”
“it is” Coral as-sured then asked “How’s the search going?”
“Things are getting more complicating”
“Am sorry”
“Am not fine mother, there’s no place like home. I miss my life; my childhood days with Océane, it was…. ”
“I forbid you from thinking about the past” Coral bellowed “Océane is an enemy and you have to see her as one, unless you want to be her servant”
“Never mother!”
“Good. Now think about destroying her and not the past”
Lovane let out her breath slowly “yes mother”
“I’ll keep you informed on what’s gonna happen as they rotate the globe. But for now,Anais sees Océane’s downfall though she doesn’t want to make it known to me” Coral said
“How did you find out?”
“Throu-gh another queen”
“I can’t wait mother” Lovane beamed “I can’t wait to see Océane’s downfall”
“Me too me child. Anais said it won’t take long”
“Then I’ll have everything she owns”
“Yes”
“Including Kyle” Lovane said to herself
“What did you say Lovane?” Coral asked
“I said ‘including the n£¢klace’ ” Lovane lied
“Be careful” Coral said and the shellophone closed
“Océane’s downfall” Lovane sm-irked “I love the sound of that”
JAINA ISLAND 🌲 ☀
“This is a bad idea” Kyle said as Océane climbe-d a tree to pluck fruits
“I know but am famished” Océane said and continued climbing
“we could find another alternative. Not you climbing”
“Am almost— at the t©p” she climbe-d
“It’s not late to come down”
Océane looked down at him from the tree “do you want to climb?”
“No” Kyle snapper “I can’t climb a tree. I tried that when I was ten and I almost got recycled”
“How?” Océane chuckled and continued climbing
“I fell into the garbage truck that was been taken for recycling”
Océane bur-st into laughter “you could’ve been made more useful”
Kyle frowned “what do you mean?”
“Nothing” Océane noticed that his countenance had changed and in other to lighten up the atmosphere, she decided to tease him.
“Scorpions!” Océane screamed knowing he was scared of scorpions.
Kyle jumped up and started climbing the tree with her.
“why are you climbing, thought you’re scared of climbing trees?” Océane asked laughing her head out
“just shut up and continue climbing. We have to get to the t©p to be safe from the scorpions”
“There is no scorpion, I just wanted to pu-ll your legs”
Kyle got red with anger. He looked up at her and realized she was wearing a go-wn, he shut his eyes and fell from the tree.
“Kyle?!” Océane called and hurriedly climbe-d down the tree “what happened to you?”
“Tell me I didn’t fall into a garbage truck” Kyle said with his eyes still shut
Océane chuckled “I guess you didn’t”
Kyle opened his eyes and Océane was kneeling beside him.
“you almost got me blinded” he joked and pushed himself up with his elbow
“How?”
“Am not gonna tell you” he leaned forward to k!ssher when he heard someone shout his name.
“Mr Hernández?!”
They looked up and saw a sh!papproaching them.
“The sh!phas arrived” Océane said excitedly
“we’ve found them”
