The ladies decided to carry out sanitation around the church premises before the prayers when a beautiful lady walked into the church.
“Welcome sister, one of the ladies respectfully greeted her.
“Thank you, the strange lady replied.
“Looking for someone? The sister asked.
“Why? Can’t I attend your church again? The lady asked back.
“You can but we don’t have anything to do today here that’s why I asked, The sister replied and the pastor suddenly felt pressed and excused himself from Chinedu going to the door.
“Excuse me, the strange lady said pushing her aside and met with the pastor just approaching her,
“Can I help you? The pastor asked.
“No, i only came to give you a message, the lady replied and the pastor folded his arms looking at her and her eyes went to Agnes where she la-id.
“She will die, the lady said and the pastor dropped his hand and Chinedu stood up from where he sat hearing that.
‘Who will die? Chinedu asked going to her.
“There are some things you can’t undo, she has been initiated and has shared blood with the master, you are killing her if you think you can help her for no one survives it, she said.
“Your people were already killing her, the pastor said.
“She was not suppose to die, we have the power to heal her just hand her over, the lady said.
“My wife is healing, the black circle is fading stop saying nonse-nse, Chinedu angrily said.
“That’s what you think, she.will.die! The lady sternly said and the pastor nodded.
“Permit me to say that you’re the dumbest people I have ever met, you just wasted your time to come here just to spill ru-bbish thinking i will tremble in fear or probably hand her over to you huh? Sorry, if you feel you have the power to heal, let me remind you that i have a God who has all power no one will ever have and rules the heavens, the earth and even beneath. Can your kingdom match that? I won’t give in miss, because you see that lady over there will live, she won’t die and every of your properties will be out from her dear messe-nger, now get out! The pastor shouted and she angrily looked at him and stared at Agnes.
“Get out before I’ll call fire on you now out! The pastor shouted again and she turned her back to the door and just few steps away from the church she disappeared. Chinedu quickly ran to Agnes and the pastor called the ladies inside and commanded them to close the door which they did.
“You have heard it with your ears, they think that Agnes will die, but we are going to raise our voice and call on this God to make their plans futile. This Agnes shall carry this gospel, this Agnes shall carry the prese-nce of God and do wonders, her wo-mb which was the vessel of the marine world shall flow with rivers of living water, common let’s pray in Jesus name, the pastor said and prayers was made on Agnes.
40 minutes later, Agnes was breathing ha-rd with her legs shaking and weakly turning her head.
“Pastor my wife is dying, Chinedu fearfully said holding his wife hands and the pastor took up the anointing oil and raised it up.
“This may be just an ordinary oil, but I believe in the miracle of Jesus who turned ordinary water into the best wine that has ever existed. Greater things you said shall we do in your name if we believe, even this moment Lord, I turn this oil to the blood of Jesus. Whatever Blood ties this soul was ignorantly initiated into, by this blood I break every initiation of the devil in her life. Let there be a flushing, and as this goes into her, whatever that is not of you by the power of the rise-nChrist, let it be out and let her be set free in the name of Jesus! The pastor prayed and asked sister Grace to hold Agnes mouth and he poured a little amount of the oil into her speaking in tongues and Agnes began to shake more.
“Leave her alone, The pastor said to Chinedu shifting him away from her.
“Come out! The pastor shouted on Agnes and she began to vomit and lastly brou-ght out an Egg.
“Yes this is it, thank you Jesus, the pastor said and before they knew it, the egg disappeared.
“It is done, the pastor said as everyone was thanking God and Chinedu raised Agnes who was extremely weak.
“Pastor, Chinedu called out scared touching his wife.
“Is there water in the church? Please clean her up, and ermm…. Someone should follow Oluchi to a nearby sto-re and get malt and a tin milk I think that’s better than glucose, she’s really drained, the pastor said.
“Please can you call the doctor? Chinedu asked.
“Chinedu calm down, she will be fine okay, just help your wife out so she can be cleaned up, don’t worry God has this in control, the pastor said tapping him………
Agnes was able to open her eyes still weak and food was brou-ght to her,
“Where are we? Agnes asked.
“Somewhere safe, Chinedu replied.
“I’m seeing Oluchi, Where’s aunty Maureen? Agnes asked.
“She’s in the village, Chinedu replied.
“Then where are we? Agnes asked again.
“Ahhhhh love eat up first you’ll know everything when you have your strength back okay, Chinedu replied.
The next day Agnes was feeling better and had something to eat and Chinedu carefully told her all that happened.
“Why can’t I remember anything that happened? She asked.
“As in aunty you can’t remember? Oluchi asked sitting up..
“Who is Ife? Agnes asked and Chinedu stupidly looked at the pastor who looked back at him.
“I don’t un-derstand pastor what happened? He asked the pastor.
“I don’t even know what to say, this is a big twist and I think its for the best, the pastor replied and he turned to his wife.
“You can’t remember you had a son? The pastor asked her.
“Seriously speaking, I only remember that I had a miscarriage I think 3 weeks ago, dear we lost our baby again, Agnes replied and began to cry on Chinedu.
“Its okay love, we will have another one and this one will be of God okay, just believe, Chinedu said cleaning her tears and the pastor smiled at them nodding.
After some minutes, Agnes sle-pt off and Chinedu left her to the pastor,
“I’ll be going to the village pastor, I’ve spent a lot of money and I have things to do over there, Chinedu said to him.
“What about your wife? The pastor asked.
“No no no she will remain in the city, in fact I will have to relocate to the city, I think my time is up there, Chinedu replied.
“You’ll take Oluchi with you? The pastor asked.
“No she has to be here to take Care of her, pastor please I know I am asking……. “Its okay, I’ll ask one of the sisters in the church to accommodate her until you are able to rent a place here, I un-derstand, the pastor cuts in.
“Thank you so much, I promise in 2 weeks time I should get something tangible in my hand, Chinedu said.
“I believe you can and be very careful, don’t discuss this with anybo-dy and know how you walk. You don’t know who is angry with what has happened, the pastor said and he nodded.
“I’ll do just that sir, I’ll take off in the morning, Chinedu said.
“The lord be with you, the pastor said tapping him on his shoulder…………….
The next morning, Chinedu left for the village after leaving some notes behind for Oluchi and Agnes feeding until he returns.
He arrived at the village and it was if a whistle was bl-own, people began asking of Ife and Agnes.
“They are fine, he replied.
“When are they coming back? They will asked.
“I just said they are fine! He will harshly reply and locked the door behind. The house looked so empty and he shook his head when he remembered it used to be Agnes and Ife before. He changed up and left the house locking it up to Maureen place and met her sitting outside with a stick,
“Ahhhh Chinedu you’re back? When did you enter? Maureen asked after he greeted her.
“Few minutes ago aunty, how’s your legs? He asked.
“Its healing, the doctor is doing a good job and how is Agnes? Is she back with you? Maureen asked and Chinedu heaved
“Chinedu I don’t like that face, what happened? Is she not well yet? Maureen asked disturbe-d.
“Aunty why did you do that? He asked back.
“Do what? What did I do? She asked.
“You took her to somewhere didn’t you? He asked.
“What did I do wrong? She asked.
‘What did you do wrong? You thought you were doing us good but no you almost destroyed us, he replied.
‘Chinedu where is this coming from? Agnes was desperate for a child and i offered my help where did I go wrong? She asked.
“Because you asked help from a wrong person and in turn her life was in danger, he replied.
“Chinedu, what happened? Tell me what happened you’re giving me heart attack, Maureen said and Chinedu shook his head and heaved and carefully told her everything.
“You mean to say Ife was a snake? Hey! Maureen shouted with her hands on her head.
“Aunty let this remain with you, the villagers must not hear this and Maureen began to cry.
“I didn’t know o, I didn’t know it will be this way o please forgive me I am not a bad person and I can’t think of hurting Agnes, Maureen said and Chinedu sighted a man that p@$$ed and he remembered that face to be the one he saw in the dream and he stood up immediately shouting on him to stop which he did.
“What do you want? The man asked when Chinedu met him.
“I saw you……. “Yes I gave you a warning and congratulations your trouble is over, the man cuts in.
“Who are you and how did you know? Chinedu asked.
“Your mother friend, he replied.
‘It was you she kept to protect me after she died right? He asked.
“Exactly, thanks for taking away the doom of this village, and be careful, his subjects are angry with you but you have a new power now and you’re protected but still be careful, the man replied and walked away and Chinedu slowly returned back to Maureen.
2 weeks later, Chinedu was able to make sales from his harvest and got the money from the people he gives his lands for farming and he smiled at the money he had at hand.
“Chinedu I want to see Agnes biko this one you are relocating now, Maureen said to him.
“Get ready then to follow me tomorrow because Agnes won’t step her legs in this village until I am sure this bad air is over, Chinedu said.
“No problem, Maureen agreed and the next day they arrived at the city and met Agnes so full of life. Chinedu hu-gged her ti-ght while Oluchi ran to her mother,
“I miss you so much, look at you, Chinedu said looking at her and she smiled and hu-gged her aunty who was already crying.
“Please forgive me my daughter, if I knew it will end this way I wouldn’t have tried it at all, Maureen said.
“No aunty don’t apologize, everything was for a reason so that God will be glorified, Agnes said and Chinedu blinked his eyes not believing what he just heard.
“The Evangelist herself! Sister Grace shouted and Agnes laughed.
“Are you serious? My wife is Now an Evangelist? Chinedu asked.
“You’ve not seen anything yet, Sister Grace replied and happily ushered them in.
2days later Maureen left for the village but Oluchi refused going back with her and Chinedu decided to make her stay with them.
The pastor already found an apa-rtment and Chinedu quickly paid for it.
2 weeks later they moved in after getting few things they can manage for a start until they are able to make it comfortable.
6 months later things were moving on very well not until Agnes fell sick. She prayed for herself for about 2 days but had constant dizziness and began to throw up, then she looked at herself in the mirror and decided to go to the hospital. The doctor suggested she should do a pregnancy test and she reluctantly accepted, and when the result came out, she was three months pregnant.
“Congratulations, the doctor said to her and she sadly nodded knowing it was not the first and she took the result home.
She told Chinedu about it but surprisingly he was very happy despite she was worried,
“But dear this…… “But dear what? You still believe in the miscarriages huh? Is it not you that always preach to me that old things has p@$$ed away and all things are new, why can’t you apply that faith now? He asked and she smiled and hu-gged him.
“I saw myself so scared I couldn’t help it, she whispered.
“I un-derstand but there’s no nee-d for that, so are you ready to carry triplets huh? Chinedu asked.
“Jesus! Will you help me carry them? Agnes shouted and he laughed.
“I’ll help you in pushing, he replied hu-gging her again………
Months later, Agnes delivered of a boy and girl and Maureen didn’t waste time to land in the city when her daughter announced the news to her.
Agnes in the hospital couldn’t stop crying when the church visited,
“Thank you so much pastor, my family owes you a lot, Agnes told him.
“I did nothing, who am I? I am just a vessel used by God and stop crying, for this is now of God sister Agnes, the pastor said carrying the girl.
“Uhmmmm this one looks like a pastor wife, The pastor said.
“And the boy looks like you Pastor, Oluchi added.
“Ahhhh Oluchi you want to put me in trouble what have I done to you na! The pastor shouted and they laughed.
And they lived happily ever after?
