The door creaks and a guy entered , he is tall and slender, he is also handsome but he was wearing servants cloth just like me .

I am the one that coordinate the prince food.
I will like to show you around and let you Know certain things you must know

I followed him to the kitchen, his eyes was down and he wasn’t looking up and even when I was trying to ask him certain questions he didn’t say anything

We arrived in the kitchen
“The first thing to note about the prince is that when you are serving his food you must cover your face with this mask” he said
” Why???” I asked

What is wrong about my face? Is there something on my face?” I said trying to wipe my face with my hands

His phone started beeping and he di-p his hands into his pocket to pick it

He dropped his call and he turned to me facing me directly
” The prince nee-ds you to prepare Brunswick stew for him now. Sorry I won’t be there to monitor you my mom is sick” he said
My heart skip immediately
” How is she?” I asked
” How am I supposed to know that when haven’t seen her. ” He said

He left immediately and I was faced with the kitchen
What will I do?
I checked the kitchen for my ingredients ma-king sure everything is re-ady
I started melting the bu-tter over the oven
Few minutes later, the soup is re-ady , it was really smelling nice. I checked the soup and it was as thick. The aroma was smelling very nice and looks pres£ntable.
I served the food in a nice and neat plate then I covered it. I got the drink and place everything on a tray . I checked to make sure I didn’t do anything foolish , stupid or dirty. The man really deserve a nice meal, he was the one who saved my life and this is the least I could do to appreciate him for that.
I wore my gloves and my mask to and carried the tray to go to his room
I arrived at the door to his room

Guards with swords looking friece were standing at his door, their look is enough to know that any little mistake one is gone.

My face was uncovered , a device was place upon my face and I blocked the view with one of my hands
” What are you doing?” I asked because I have never seen such device in my life

” It’s use to scan faces in case of anything”
” Am not capable of killing the prince” I said
” Hurry up the prince food is getting cold. He doesn’t like cold food” the first guard said shooting me a glare

Like seriously did they think am capable of poisoning him?
He opened the food and he took a spoon out of it. He glanced at me and he took another spoon then he spit it out immediately
” Omg what is this?” He asked
” Is he pretending not to like my food?” I asked myself
” do you put ginger this food?” He asked
” Yes” I replied
” Guards,
Don’t you know that I don’t like ginger you almost killed me” he said
” Guards ” he called again
I fell down on my knees immediately
” plea-se sir have mercy on me” I pleaded on my knees
The guards arrived with their swords in their hands
” Take her away
Lock her in the guard room” he ordered
Tears fell down from my eyes
” Why is everyone in this palace wicked like this?” I asked myself as they take me away.
